- Hezel (6/5): - First off, the inn is private, clean and cozy, and minutes away from downtown. Our room had patio access, a fireplace, and kitchenette. Beds are comfortable, AC worked great, and the hosts were responsive before and during the trip. It felt like an airbnb type experience. The location was safe and quiet and the suite had lots of amenities. The front desk even had dvd's to rent out and our room had a "night sky" effect at nighttime. Customer service was poor and incomplete and we found a roach in the bathroom resulting in a lower grade.

There were many added touches...an umbrella when it rained (too bad they couldn't fix that!, but it only lasted half a day), and a flashlight for walking over to Palm Canyon Drive for dinners.

The Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our only complaint is they didn't have a curfew for the pool area at night, one out of 3 night's we stayed there we were asleep then at 11:30 till almost 1:00 am two people were out there talking and kept us awake. Other than that it was perfect.

- brian (10/5): Peaceful Poolside Bliss - The Coyote Inn is darling. Super quiet and peaceful, it is perfect for a nice relaxing poolside chill. It is located a very short walk from downtown, super convenient but just far enough to be incredibly peaceful. The rooms are cozy and cool with plenty of outdoor seating in the shade. The hosts, Chris and Barb are very friendly and accommodating and make the stay comfortable. I would highly recommend the Coyote Inn for a relaxing getaway.

It was a cold period in Palm Springs, and there was no proper temperature controlled heating in the rooms. The first night we were cold, the next hot. And I didn’t enjoy wrestling with several blankets. The property is very small and quite dated, and outside of our room, there was a fire pit, where every day someone sat and talked loudly. We didn’t feel we had any privacy. Also, we could hear every little noise from our neighbors. For the price we paid, it certainly wasn’t worth it. Granted, it was Modernism Week ... Alas, we wouldn’t stay there again.

The rooms open onto a well-maintained courtyard with a pool and hot tub. During our stay, many of the guests ate breakfast or enjoyed a glass of wine in the courtyard. Everyone was friendly, and the intimate setting made it easy to meet people from all over. The rooms were clean and well cared for. The kitchenette had a vintage feel, but had everything we needed--coffee, stove/oven, microwave, cooking utensils and refrigerator. We used it to make sandwiches to bring when we went hiking and to store and reheat leftovers from dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants.

From the decorated tree in the room, to the homemade treats, to the unexpected, wrapped gifts we received - what a fabulous way to spend the holiday. The pool and Jacuzzi were so nice, perfect temperatures, sizes and so clean. Salt water pool at 88 degrees is heavenly! The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. - Verified traveler (10/5): A Wonderful Palm Springs Weekend Getaway - The hosts were fantastic in accommodating our late Friday night arrival with a nice handwritten welcome note to boot! Everything you can ask for in the room if you want to make a meal and the pool is literally a few footsteps out your door. You are walking distance not only to all the restaurants, bars, and coffee shops on Palm Canyon Drive but also several neighboring small hotels that have poolside bars and lunch spots.

- Jools1 (10/5): Small Intimate Guest House - We spent just two nights in this quiet guest house an easy walk from down town shops & restaurants. We booked quite late but by chance ended up with the largest suite, housing a very comfortable King bed. With only 7 rooms set around the pool it was quiet, fairly private and a welcome change from the usual busy Hotel scenario. Would definitely stay again & hopefully for longer.

- Jim (10/5): Quiet Relaxation with great close in location. - The minute we walked through the gate, we knew we were in paradise. The owners greeted us, offered to bring in our bags and walked us to our room. Once inside our one bedroom poolside suite we noticed how well maintained the property is. We have stayed at several Tennis Club neighborhood hotels and it seems like the owners are constantly chasing maintenance issues but not this place, it's like new top to bottom and literally everything works. With only 7 rooms around a beautiful courtyard, jacuzzi, and pool, it is so peaceful. The grounds and rooms are beautifully appointed. Each room has a full kitchen with everything you would ever need. They also have DVD's and books that you can use. As other reviewers have written, Barb and Chris are wonderful innkeepers, ask them for dining recommendations etc. as they are up to date on all of the latest happenings around town. You'll be amazed at how quite it is here while being within walking distance to all the restaurants and shops downtown.

I have been vacationing in Palm Springs for over 35 years and came across this place and figured I'd give it a try. I had usually stayed in bigger hotels. This was my first time staying at a small place like this. Best place I have ever stayed in Palm Springs, HANDS DOWN!!!. Comfortable rooms, steps from the pool. Friendly staff always available to help. No crowds or loud music. 5 minute walk to the center of downtown. My wife and I fell in love with the place and are already planning our next stay there.

- Daniel (10/5): Absolutely the best - The Coyote Inn was the most perfect place to stay in Palm Springs. Very close to town, easily walkable. Chris the owner and his wife were very welcoming and made sure we had everything to make us comfortable. We loved the small size of the place, it felt intimate and homely and all rooms open onto the pool area. But our room and private patio was still totally private. The swimming pool was perfect size and attractively landscaped. The bed and the bed linen were exquisite. The most exclusive hotels in NYC don't have such comfortable beds and beautiful bed linen. My wife had to ask Chris what kind of bed it was. The cotton sheets smell so fresh as we were told they are laundered on site. Great size TV with lots of channels, beautiful spacious bathroom, convenient well-stocked kitchenette. We plan to come back in winter and we will definetly book the Coyote Inn.
- warren (10/5): A great weekend at the Coyote Inn - A great weekend at the Coyote Inn. Chris and Barb were wonderful, gave us great information about restaurants and general information about Palm Springs and were warm and welcoming. A wonderful location, a few blocks from downtown and the Art Museum. A beautiful pool and Jacuzzi, not crowded and immaculate grounds and pool area. Our room was OK..not used to sleeping in a queen but it was fine. Lots of hot water, a nice kitchen area and very clean. Air conditioner was a little noisy recycling throughout the night, but it kept the room comfortable. We hadn't been to Palm Springs in several years so this was a good place to visit.

- suzanne (10/5): Gorgeous boutique hotel - Coyote Inn is our absolute favorite Palm Springs accommodation. It's private, quiet, and unique. It's within walking distance to everything. If you stay there, walk to Lulu's restaurant. You won't be disappointed. Each room is different at Coyote Inn. They have fireplaces, kitchens, back patios, BBQ... This would be a great place to host a family gathering. When we've gone it's extremely quiet though, VERY relaxing.

Room was clean, quiet and the bed was great. The owners were knowledgeable about the different restaurants, which was helpful. Nice size swimming pool.
