Guest Reviews

- Stewart (6/5): Private weekday accommodation which was great only disappointing thing was no hot water in the showe - It was simple and private. Only 2 minutes of hot water in the shower. This was the only disappointing thing about the stay.

- Donna (9/5): Lovely room in great location! - Very quiet and quaint in a fabulous location - had everything you need for your stay. Would have liked a small table and chair n the room.

- Andrea (8/5): Located in heart of Bendigo. - Co-located with a lovely old historic building. Bit noisy at times but not too bad.
- Alec (7/5): Our stay was brief just an over niter. The little coffee shop up the block has very good coffee... - Location was great with very friendly staff very quiet for main st location. Room was clean and neat for an older style building. Bed was comfortable. nothing to dislike.
- Samantha (7/5): Great location, can be loud at night time - Great location Hardly any hot water and it was very noisy
- Karyn (9/5): - Location and old world charm Not a issue
- Alison (9/5): - Great location Disappointed with shower no hot water
- Sharyn (7/5): Great location and wine bar - Great location. Lovely having the wine bank there for food and drinks. Impressive building. Pretty courtyard to sit in and eat breakfast. Bathroom very small and water not very hot. Noisy neighbours overnight. There was a lady talking on the phone in the courtyard at 3-4am plus her barking dog. Hopefully she was only a guest.
- antony (7/5): - Location Compact bathroom. TV at right angle to bed
- Helen (10/5): Loved the stay and definitely will be my "GO TO" place when visiting again - It was small and cozy. A historical building well maintained. Being attached to the wine bar with snacks available is a bonus ( not used on this occasion but great to know for next time). Excellent location close to an abundance of eateries and the Talking Tram which allows great access to tourist attractions. The staff were most friendly with the manager attempting to assist with luggage storage and making personal contact to resolve this issue. His preparedness to do so made us feel valued. Initially finding it was a challenge which confused us and Google but that may have been because it was the end of an exhaustive day. Once found it was very very obvious. Look for 45 View Street and ignore Google would be our advice
- Tracey (7/5): Just fix the hot water and warming up the room and could be a great stay - Location Couldn't get warm - shower kept switching from hot to cold. Could not get the air conditioner on heat. So woke up cold in the night both nights.

- Julie (6/5): You pay for what you get, this wasn’t overly expensive. - Good location, quiet area. Comfy bed. There were so many ants in our room, there were even some in our bed.
Also would love a clothes horse to dry washed clothes. An outside bin to put our rubbish in.

- Diana (8/5): Would definitely look to stay again. - It had character and charm and was clean and comfortable. The price was very affordable and the location fantastic! Not a big problem but the hot water in the shower was not terribly hot. That was the only downside. First world problems hey!
- Emily.V (10/5): - Location was great! Close to everything, walking distance from station. Very pretty accom and good set up.
Bathroom products were nice. Fridge was noisy, and missing blinding which outside light came through (not complete blackout for sleep).

- Rune (7/5): Small but cosy and well equipped - Great location, small but cozy Sensor light going on and off all night outside window. Rooms are in the same building as a restaurant and restaurant guests are right outside the room. If you care about privacy, look elsewhere.
- Maria (5/5): -
- Rodney (9/5): another great weekend in a beautiful city - central location, great food at the wine bar parking
- Kim (9/5): -
- Geoff (8/5): - Comfortable room behind a wine bar - which did a great meal
- Annette (7/5): Great room and location. - Location was important on this trip and it was a great experience. The music that was playing too loud right near our room. It was getting a bit late.
- Simon (7/5): -
- Rodney (6/5): - Close to town short walk
- Hayes (8/5): - Location and facilities Shower wasn't hot,
- Lee (9/5): Lovely period property with good facilities. - Lovely period building. Spacious room with good facilities in the kitchen for snacks and breakfast in the room Bathroom tiny. The speaker in the courtyard could be heard in the bedroom.
- Kymberly (3/5): - Location right across from wedding venue Cold shower on a freezing night, heater was difficult to use and took hours to warm up room. No spare blankets. Froze half the night.
My friend who was also staying also had a cold shower.
- Jennifer (8/5): -
- Jennie (8/5): -
- Krista Carnihan (6/5): Nightmare to find. - It had a Spanish vibe Nightmare to find. I booked the property, but when I followed GPS it comes up under a different name, then finally called as we were lost. They gave us another business name. I was expecting a hotel, but it was rooms out back of a bar. Duck curry was chewy.
- Rebecca (7/5): - The room is really cute and comfortable, good size too. The bed was comfy too. There's a shared balcony, and you can open the window for fresh air. The location is perfect, central to everything, on a pretty tree-lined street. It's an old building, so you can hear everyone's doors closing etc (but I'm yet to stay in a hotel where you don't hear doors and foot traffic).
- Leah (4/5): - The room was very clean. Intermittent internet.
Parking facilities
- Gabriela (3/5): - Rooms are nice overall. Instructions to get into the rooms are easy. Location is nice. I could not get the water to come out hot, only lukewarm. I started taking a shower and after 1 minute, the water came out cold. I had to stop for 10 minutes and still the water would not come out hot. I also woke up the next day and found ants all over my lugagge. I did not have any food in the lugagge. This was very annoying to clean up.
- Deanna (9/5): Great Location - The location was very good, close to town and walking distance to cafes and restaurants. It was also great having the wine bank on site. It was a bit noisy at night as our room was next to the stairs which was accessed by other other guests getting to their rooms.
- Sharon (6/5): Ok stay - Staff after hours was wonderful and very friendly. Bed was comfortable, great it has a topper. Lovely area and was quite the nite we stayed. Staff got us a portable fan, thank god, she was so helpful💓 Aircon/fan didn't work, to crammed bathroom, can hear people breathe when they walk past, should have double glazing . Rooms very stuffy, needs ceiling fan
- Rykers (9/5): -
- Sandra (10/5): - Quirky and nice
- Andrew (7/5): -
- Robert (5/5): The accommodation met our requirements for the reason of our trip. - Well located and reasonably comfortable accommodation in a modernised heritage building with character. The accommodation wasn't up to expectation in regards to cleanliness. The balcony area hadn't been swept for sometime with dirt and cobwebs on and around the outdoor setting which was the only area for two people to be able to sit and eat a meal. Crockery had been put away wet and the tea towel was damp so couldn't have been replaced before our occupancy, there were also no teaspoons with the cutlery supplied. Parking is limited
- Katherine Karathanasis (10/5): -
- Lita (8/5): - Close to historic heart if Bendigo but generally quiet. Possibility of functions happening outside your door. Not a lot of room.
- Robert (9/5): - The Wine Bank.Well prepared simple menu
Fabulous wine selection.
Professional service with a smile.
- Linda (7/5): -
- Carol (7/5): - Bed was very nice. Location was amazing. Needed a decent TV in place of the mirror . Needed cereal bowls.
Desperately needed a second comfortable chair, also a small dining table. A second bedside lamp would be good. Bathroom was very snug.
- Sally-anne (10/5): Perfect stay in a great location - Lovely comfortable room. Check in and out was easy. We slept well in the very comfy bed. All round a great stay. Not much. Maybe add blockout blinds as it’s bright in the morning.
- Nathan (8/5): -
- Philip (8/5): Good location. Off street parking. Good value - Great location. Spacious living area. Off street parking. Small bathroom. A bit noisy when people and music is outside.
