- Ville (6/5): Yliarvostettu - Sijainti oli hyvä, rauhallinen ranta. Pikkumökit mukavat kyllä, mutta hiekkaa eksyy väkisin joka paikkaan, siivous melko nopea lattian lakaisu eikä edes moppia käytetä. Ravintolan palvelut melko heikot. Tarjoilijat hyvin hajamielisiä yhtä nuorta tyttöä lukuunottamatta.

- Nagy (5/5): Koh Samed is a beautiful island but there are may more accommodations that offer better value for less money.. - The location was convenient to be able to go out to the point for dinner and it was nice to walk the beach. The facilities are not really well maintained and could certainly use some updating. Breakfast was okay, but long wait for coffee. Our “beach view” room was right at the back, and the view out the side window was of the water tanks and debris. I went for a 400 baht massage and was charged 800, because she did a hair treatment/ massage and I think a face massage (both 200 baht) without mentioning an additional cost. Overall, I would “value” the resort and room around 2000 baht per night (at best) but rates were more than double that.

- Eswee (9/5): A place to relax and unwind - Great resort on a beautiful beach. Very relaxed and chill beach vibe, dont expect big parties. The resort, rooms and restaurant was very good and close to lots of restaurants on the beach. Lots of beach loungers and this is a place where you can unwind, relax and chill for hours. The restaurants down the beach are better than the resort restaurant

Jag fick ett rum som var riktigt slitet och smutsigt, när jag klagade gav dom mig sviten istället men den var inte heller i toppskick.. mitt betyg är högt för att dom ändå ville göra kunden nöjd. Hela hotellet var väldigt eftersatt och dåligt städat! Mycket var trasigt och allt skulle behöva totalrenoveras för att det ska vara värt så mycket pengar per natt.

One of the real positives is how easy it is to walk to two much quieter beaches nearby when you want something more relaxed. The sea here is great for swimming, and the pool is a handy alternative if you fancy a break from the beach. Breakfast was a typical Thai-style hotel breakfast, exactly as you’d expect, with plenty of choice. Overall, a very convenient and enjoyable place to stay.

- A2100LZvirginial (8/5): Happy and relaxing stay! - We stayed here for two nights in a garden view bungalow. The room was nice, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom okay for the price. We had two seafood dinners at the resort — everything was fresh and tasty. At night there was a fire show on the beach, really exciting! Special thanks to Pleng, the staff who spoke good English and provided warm, friendly service. The beach is beautiful — clear water, soft sand, and blue sky. Overall, a happy and relaxing stay! 🌴

- katiecY3642WD (10/5): Gorgeous resort with really friendly staff - A gorgeous escape where you feel a million miles away from everything. We had a beach facing bungalow which was amazing. Fantastic, friendly staff (Madame Lee & Pleng to name a couple) really go out of their way to make you feel like part of the family. Would 100% recommend and we will most definitely return, hopefully soon.

Breakfast is variety and taste is ok. However, it difficult to keep room clean from sand as room is on the beach.

Wont return to this hotel and recommend future guests to reconsider. Have frequented this hotel several times. Must be under new management and is not for the good of the hotel as other guests also experienced the same.

The breakfast is of low quality and if you like good coffee then this is NOT the place to be. There must be a management of the hotel who don’t really care ably whether customers return or not.

Bad smell in the shower that they only tried to fix with a burning oil container that of course stopped when the candle ran out and it wasn't replaced the next day. So bad smell for the rest of the trip every time we had a shower. Breakfast very average.

- Ystradyfodwg (10/5): Big Improvements Since A’more Group Takeover. - I’ve been visiting Samed Cabana for quite a few years and from previous reviews I’ve always said the location was fantastic but like other reviews the place was run down. However,on this visit it was great to newly refurbished rooms with comfortable clean beds and linen,a working and a tv working with various channels plus a clean bathroom. Location is fantastic with bungalows right on the beach overlooking the calm warm waters.It was very busy as it was the weekend during the high season and prices are expensive. It’s fairly straightforward to get here once you have arrived at Ban Phe on the mainland,you get a speedboat across from Nuan Thip pier for 200 baht one way,then 50 baht for a shared sawntaew here. Staff are friendly and pleasant with a mixture of Thai,Cambodian and Burmese.Breakfast at restaurant is more than adequate with usual egg station,cereals,juices,tea,coffee and fruit. Overall a very pleasant stay.

- Richard (3/5): Remove the live music, and maybe I'll return. - The staff was nice. The beach is beautiful. The cabanas, if you get a good one are nice. There is now live music onsite. I come for peace and quiet, not loud music from 6 pm to 10 pm. Even though I asked for our 3 cabanas together, far from the lobby/restaurant, they put my two guests right next to the restaurant. My guests were downgraded to quieter cabanas the following day, after the intolerable noise and music. No refund was offered for the downgrade. The staff is pleasant and kind, but not well trained. They are also understaffed. The management is terrible. I probably will not return, even though I've been coming here for years.

While I understand that being by the beach does invariably lead to a lot of sand being tracked in, I wish that a fresh room at least wouldn't have sand on the floor

- pidchayae (2/5): A mouse in the toilet and room - We’ve book 3 rooms of beachfront and sea view rooms. I found a mouse in a sea view room toilet at 3:30am. And this hotel doesn’t have anyone to service until 7am. I had been calling asking many time until 7:30am, they send maid with a dry towel…:( . A mouse wasn’t in toilet anymore but it’s in the bedroom, and they have done nothing beside saying it went out but nobody see where it went! I pay total for 21,000 bath and I feel disgusting to live with a mouse in the room.

Also, a buffet breakfast with a large selection of food. Nightly Fire Show and live music in the restaurant of an evening. Can get a little busy as the motel caters for day trippers so no beach chairs available on those days.
- Amina (6/5): Not worth the price - This property is right on the beach and it's pleasant enough. However, it's very touristy and could've been the Costa del Sol, rather than Thailand. We got scooters and managed to check out some nicer, more secluded beaches. However, it's such a small island and the whole place was a bit of a tourist trap. The food was absolutely terrible. Bland, mushy pad thai and no spice to the curries. Lots of western burgers and pizzas. Weak, pre-made cocktails and fire shows every night. Not authentic at all. The food and drinks are almost the same price as the UK.
