We enjoyed the tea and coffee that was available all day in the lobby. We wish we had our swimsuits for the heated pool. We hope to return often!

- Richard (8/5): - The staff were extremely helpful and willing to go the extra mile. The main draw for me was walking distance to the Martha's Vineyard ferry. Hotels on the Vineyard in August -- if you have to ask, you can't afford it. I was in the older motel, so the bathroom was a bit cramped, which is way I gave 4 stars, but everything was spotless and there was good A/C. Highly recommended! ( oh, one more thing - unlike the big chain hotels, they sensibly have lightweight blankets in summer instead of giving you a comforter more suitable for the North Slope of Alaska in January.)

Upon arriving, we just found ourselves taking in the view and chilling for the remainder of the evening. No need to go anywhere else! Bed was very comfortable. Becky was friendly and attentive and went to the trouble of calling us after checkout to let us know we had left something behind, which arrived carefully packaged at my house just a few days later. Her care and attention was greatly appreciated. Thank you!

- SUSAN (10/5): - Sands of time is a gem. Prime location for starters and also a meticulously maintained property with retro appeal. Started everyday with a water view and coffee on our balcony. Ended everyday in the heated pool before a stroll to dinner at any number of good restaurants. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful—everyone made an effort to see that our stay was pleasant. The water, the beach, and a great place to stay. We will go again and again.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Cozy Inn, but needs updating, better cleaning. - The Inn is in a pleasant area in Cape Cod, close to the Steamship over to Martha Vineyards. Close to many local stores/shops. It's a bit old, and nostalgic, but definitely dated. To be expected for this inn though. Check in was pleasant. No breakfast. They did provide Bottled Water. Ample parking close by the building. The Inn does need some updating. Room door / locks were quite old, floors are a bit uneven, wallpaper seemed to be cracked/peeling. I had spiders in the corner / ceiling of the room, found a few ants, and the bathroom floor still had hair from previous guests stay.

It was wonderful to be within walking distance to the restaurants and shops in Woods Hole and in walking distance to the ferry as well. We didn’t get in our car for a whole weekend! The rooms are also extremely quiet and we never heard a peep from the other guests. The view from our room was beautiful. We look forward to coming back!!!

Of importance, I have a dog allergy and picked this hotel for that reason, but upon arrival there was a dog in the lobby. Also, light switch was not working and they offered to have an electrician repair it, but I didn’t want to be inconvenience on my vacation. There was no offer of a new room, lamp or money taken off my bill. As a homeowner, I know a small job can easily become a major issue with time and dust.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - The good. Its near the ferry and the staff cannot do enough for you. It has a great ice machine.The bad. The place is seriously run down and massively overpriced. The derelict motel next door doesnt help.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - I was disappointed with the overall state of the property. We were given a queen room in the converted house. I did NOT know that the room would be three flights up (attic) with no elevator. l am just coming up on knee surgery and it was too much for me. The room needed updating badly. The bathroom could not have been any smaller. However, the bed was new and very comfortable.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It seems like an old hotel trying to modernize with fixtures and things. Love the balcony!! The beds were horrible not a decent night sleep. Beautiful swimming pool, beautiful flowers, buf the delapitated abondoned hotel next door is an eye sore, but if you get harbor side room that makes up you look out at the water from your balcony. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great view from the room overlooking the ocean. We arrived at 2 am but the owner had left a key box so we could enter without disturbing the other guests. The pool is very clean as are the grounds in general. In the morning when our Uber was too small for our party, a member of their team offered to drive us to the Ferry. The staff and owners were very friendly and answered all my touristy questions. A great place to stay.
