The bed was very comfortable though the pillows on the small side but at least 2 per person. The bathroom is massive, really it would be better to have that room in the bedroom but that's nit picking. It was a great stay but the restaurant across the street was disappointing. Slow service, expensive and just meh food.

- Kelly (8/5): - Cottage was clean, equipped ok although I would have wanted to have the king bed option with a full working kitchen. Cottage was in good condition. The only thing I did not like was the sign on the cottage saying no EV charging. This should have been in the cottage over owe very prominently as we booked a cottage so we could charge overnight. Having charging available is a deciding factors for us. Easily could have allowed charging. It costs less than running the baseboard heaters in the cottage and I would have gladly paid.
- Vanessa (6/5): - This property is decent. We had 1 night stay. There is no cable, limited toiletries and no ironing boards. The bathroom was huge. The host was a bit difficult to understand. The restaurant across the road was super expensive. 80 bucks for two 1 piece fish and chips woth 2 beers.

- Sean (10/5): Cabin life made easy - One of the better hotels I stayed in over a 2-week trip. Cabin was spacious, convenient, and comfortable. Private porch was great for my needs. Easy check-in. Right across the road from a restaurant, and a decently short walk to the great beach (about 15 minutes one way)

- Erin (8/5): Very comfortable place to stay - Very comfortable place to stay right along the Cabot Trail. We stayed here on the way to hiking the Skyline trail. The Main St restaurant is right across from the cabins and a great place to eat.

We were provided with coffee maker and the 2 coffee sachets were of very poor quality. There was no hint of coffee. They are better off not providing any coffee at all. I thought it was pricy for an accommodation of this type.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great place for family trip. - This place is VERY comfortable and clean. There are extremely friendly check in staff. Washrooms seem to have been renovated within the last few years. The cabins are spacious. Fridge and microwave. And a small table to eat on. My family was very happy staying here.

It was a beautiful day so we sat outside after dinner and enjoyed our surroundings. Close to Ingonish beach, North Bay beach, Keltic Lodge, Main St and Coastal restaurants and a fabulous coffee spot called Bitsy Bean

We appreciated the in-room Keurig and small dining table, as we had an early-morning whale watching tour one day so we were able to breakfast in our room. The Main Street restaurant is good and right across the street, with outside tables available. We spent several hours in the comfortable porch chairs, reading and watching the little juncos hop around feeding. Our only small complaint was that the in-room refrigerator was fairly loud. Other than that we were very happy with our stay.

- Sarah (8/5): Clean, spacious-best for longer stays. - Clean, spacious and comfortable. It is an bit out of town, not knowing the area- we didn’t research the location enough to know this. Beautiful scenery and better if staying for more than one night. Didn’t know what else the place offered, limited information was offered at check in. There is a binder in a drawer in the room that explains a bit. Staying longer, you’ll want more information at the desk though. I think more is available, a pool, bbq?, horseback riding?..
- Vanessa (6/5): - July 2025 - we stayed here for one night during our travels of the East Coast. The cabin was fine for one night, but it was a very small space for a family of 4 - we needed to be very selective on what we were able to bring in from the car and left over half of our belongings in the vehicle because of the limited space. The location was good - near beaches and the restaurant right across the road. We enjoyed being on the front porch - it was very quiet and peaceful.

Cabin had a little covered deck which was great to take in the view and relax. Absolutely recommend staying here.

- Zoe (10/5): Right on the money - Exactly what we needed on our Cabot Trail visit. A clean and comfy affordable room. Across the street is a great local restaurant (Main Street Restaurant). Definitely recommend staying here.

No kitchen facilities or cutlery so bring your own. Nice place to eat and sit on the patio across the road. Groceries, gas, liquor store, post office in the area and lots of artisan shops along the way. Had a great, relaxing stay.
- KINGSLEY (10/5): Highly Recommended - We had a spacious well equipped cabin, a bedroom with a very comfortable bed and a good sized living area with good kitchen facilities. The deck is covered and has a large table and chairs. There are a number of planter chairs to relax in the grounds and also 3 outdoor cookers for the BBQ brigade.
- Helene (8/5): - God location, restaurant across the road, 5 minute drive to Highland Links golf course. Nice little balcony out front. Only negative is that there was no water in the morning (power outage, pump stopped). So, skipped the shower and coffee.
