Guest Reviews
- Brendan (1/5): Fubar - It was shut down when arrived left stranded at 3 AM
- PETER (2/5): - Property was shut down when we arrived.
- Gena (2/5): - Boarded up didn’t tell anyone!
- Rodger (2/5): - This property is closed. There is a fence around the property. We had to find a B&B 20 minutes away to stay at. All hotels in Altus, Oklahoma were booked. Incredibly frustrated!
- jose (10/5): - Was checked in quick n the girl was super friendly. The rm was very clean.
- sixsisters2018 (2/5): DRIVE BY THIS PLACE. - This was our second stay, and things have really gone downhill. We arrived and were told there was NO HOT WATER. Since we had pets and were limited on where we could stay in Altus, we said we were OK with that for one night, would there be a discount? we were told NO. NO discount for NO hot water. Our room, requested non-smoking, got a smoking room. Asked about that. Told ALL of their rooms are smoking. We were upstairs -NO lights on the outside stairs, which is not fun in the dark. Then we looked at the balcony cracks in the floor, chunks missing on the stairs - really? Shouldn't this be bulldozed down? Pool out of order and covered. The best I can say is there was a breakfast.
- David (6/5): - Down to basic service. Loud noise from the hall way
- Michael (6/5): - Chick Fil A order line right in front of my door -put up a privacy fence. No ice machine- Still! Staff doesn't care much about anything!! Pool not operational - or Hottub!
- Deborah (8/5): - The check in person was friendly and helpful. Room door was difficult to open. Phone number for front desk listed online was never answered. Breakfast was just ok. For the price it was good though.. It met my need for a place that would let me brong my dog.
- Sherry (2/5): - We arrived about 9 PM.The staff gave us a key. Generally we get 2 keys in case one doesn't work. We get to our room and the key doesn't work. Of course we keep trying it and after a few attempts, the door comes open and some guy is like "what are you doing?" They gave us the wrong room number. This was very scary for 2 women after dark. We carry all our stuff back to the car to go get a different room. The stairs and area where they are located is pitch dark. None of the lights worked. We get another room and carry our stuff back up the dark stairs and get to our room. The neighbors are slamming doors, running in and out and yelling at each other. I always check the beds for bed bugs so we pulled the sheets back and one of the beds had wrinkled sheets like they had been slept in and just remade the bed. We got our stuff and checked out. We went to a different hotel.
- Polandski (3/5): Poor - Nothing Got in late in the evening Long day working and driving. Had to be up and out next morning early. Got up and got ready to take a shower and no hot water at all. No no maintenance man on duty.. so had to go without a shower. Staff was not accommodating offered nothing in response. Breakfast bar was bare minimum to say the least . Would not recommend... Some of the lamps didn't work
- Lewis (7/5): Good - The bed was nice and comfortable and nobody bothered me. The bathroom smelled like urine.
- Roam12055303436 (6/5): Could have been better. - Rooms could have been better. Bed was very comfortable. Lights on the walkways needs replacing. It looks like there was some work being done on the second floor walkway as it was supported with jackstands. I stayed there before the room then was much better then the one I had this trip.
- Nick (10/5): Something cheap and reliable - Close to Walmart, couple restaurants.. right off the main road and allow pets to stay for free.. room was clean extra towels good stay. It was good
- Crystal (5/5): But over all it was a good stay I would book again with you - He was cleaned but the housekeeper never stop by to see if we needed anything The property was cleaned on the outside. The numbers could of been a little bigger cause when you are driving by you really couldn’t see the top cause they are so small numbers
- Yvonne (8/5): - Very pleased overall with our room and stay. We discovered late on our first night that our shower didnt work. Called the front desk and they quickly switched us to another room. Greatly appreciate being in a quiet and clean hotel.
- Jay (4/5): - The property is in need of major renovations. There was barriers put up in the parking lot because it looked like they were about to repair the roof and railings for one wing. These barriers had been blow over with trash stunk in them for what looked like months ago.
Some of the rooms use to be smoking but are now labeled nonsmoking. There is no way to remove that odor. It took 3 rooms to find one that would not irritate my asthma.
The rooms are average for a motel. Nothing fancy.
The service at the front desk was superb. They were super help and friendly.
- Yvonne (10/5): - I was very impressed with the cleanliness of my room. I always travel with my own cleaning supplies and linens, and I didn't need either with this stay. There was even an extra blanket in the room, and the heat had been turned on for me so my room was nice and warm. I had had a very busy day moving and it was quite refreshing to have a clean room and bed to crawl into. Whatever laudry service they use, stick to it! You could smell how clean all the linens were! LOVE that they are pet friendly!
I'll be back!
- Miguel (8/5): - The staff was so nice i was even able to check in little early too.
- Kate (4/5): - This property is extremely run down. It isn't very clean, anywhere, rooms included. Rusty stairs, doors that broken, indoor pool and hot tub inoperable with bottles of bleach everywhere, no wifi, no water pressure at our sink so we had to brush our teeth using the bathtub faucet.
- Rachel (4/5): don't do it - The indoor pool/hot tub, and bar/restaraunt was out of service without being disclosed in the advertisement. Rooms with broken windows/caution tape all around. grounds were not kept. phone in the room did not work, breakfast was not provided.
However, the room was clean. shout out to the house keeping staff
- christic800 (4/5): Not remodeled in 2024 - They are not newly renovated. After a few days we had to go to the front desk for towels and soaps since maid service didn't stop by office.
Shower was hot and cold fluctuating. As of December 2024 they were still operating under COVID-19 protocols.
The indoor pool is closed. The photos listed are not the current condition of the hotel.
The lighting outside does not work.
The towels were soft.
- Justin (2/5): - Not a good hotel
- Brenda (8/5): - It was clean and comfortable.
- Kelly (6/5): - Shower stopup
- Margarita (10/5): Fair - It was confterble quiet. We had good rest
- Rich (4/5): There are better places in Altus, OK. to stay - The check-in clerk was VERY bad and uninformed bout a lot of things, he checked us in at the 3 day rate and programed our key for 1 day whereas I had to walk up to the office while my wife had to stand in the cold to get our keys reprogramed for the 2nd and 3rd nights, he also didn't know if there was a printed TV guide. The room needed some maintenance work as did the grounds. The bed was very comfortable, the toilet paper holder was about to fall on the floor. Have had much better accomadations in Altus before....
- Timothy (6/5): - Need to be remodeled.
- Camilo (1/5): Was so ugly that I didn't stay - The front desk girl was very nice I was not able to stay in that place as soon as we saw the horrible conditions in that place! dirty, Courtains ripped off, small and ugly beds and carpet, walls and structure looked like if they never took care of them, swimming pool and other facilitates completely broken for remodeling, the pictures were very different from the truth so I cancelled the reservation as soon as saw it by person
- Kenny (5/5): Decent bed. Terrible breakfast and no pool or hot tub - The nightly rate Breakfast was terrible. Waffles, bread and cereal. Says it has pool and hot tub but has been broken for 3+ years
- WT (10/5): - A lot of the stuff around the place was broken or something like that
- Breanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katrina (5/5): Passable - Staff put us in a room that smelled like an ash tray.
The hotel was under construction, and the areas were closed off.
- Angela (4/5): - Room was musty-smelling and curtains were dingy. Also the amenities for the property advertised were not available (breakfast, bar, pool table, pool, etc.) On the website it says there was a bar...They have no bartender and no bar and thus no pool table as the pool table is in the bar area. When dropping off keys couldn't even find anyone to take them let alone "free" breakfast, and the pool was closed. If we hadn't been so tired after driving for several hours we would have left.
- Bunch (1/5): fishy - Not a thing It was horrible. Walked in and all we could smell was fish. It was like someone cooked fish in the microwave or something. It was disgusting. We just got back in the car and left.
- Corinne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Breanna (10/5): Points - I loved it all
- Tony (6/5): - More lighting around the center of building and walking trails
- Marsh (7/5): Good -
- Breanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Noemi (10/5): - The building is old, the exterior needs repair and updating.
- Donald (4/5): - Keys would not work to open door
- Heather (6/5): Good stay except for the AC Unit being noisy - Easy to get to. The AC Unit made a lot of noise when it kicked on and off.
- Joseph (1/5): I chose to stay somewhere else. - The location Place was outdated, didn’t look anything like the ads, was run down. It was nothing like the advertisements portrayed it to be. We cancelled our reservation and stayed somewhere else.
- Stacey (8/5): - It's not as nice as the hotel I stayed in the night before and paid half as much for. If I would have stayed in this hotel first, I would have been happy with it. The breakfast options were a little limited. But I did like being able to park right outside my room. And it was pretty quiet. The staff was friendly. The carpet needs a good cleaning, but everything else looked clean.
- Whitney (1/5): Never again! - Location Everything. Please don’t stay here. No pool(even though it said they had one). No walk in shower even though they confirmed one over the phone. Room was disgusting. Double charged me. I had to clean the bathtub before I could take a shower. My Mom went without a shower because of the filth. Grease spots all over the carpets. My Mom went to go outside and the door handle came off in her hands.
- Gonzalez (8/5): Very good - Good location..Reasonably priced...comfortable and clean room. BOTH POOLS WERE CLOSED!! I BOOKED IT FOR THE KIDS TO SWIM. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS NICE THOUGH.
- Annette (9/5): Superb -
- David (10/5): All good - Thought this was OYO, Days inn is good
- P (2/5): Wyndham... Take Notice !!! - HORRIBLE... The building is literally starting to fall down and in our opinion, it is DANGEROUS. Where our room was, they had built 'supports' to hold up the upper level floor ! The air conditioner made an awful noise that kept us up and the walls were 'paper thin'. To top it off, we went to take a shower the morning we were leaving out and the water to the shower would not turn on. The faucet refused to budge, so we were unable to even take a shower ! I wrote them to ask for a partial refund (which we definitely deserve), but haven't heard anything. Based on what we saw here, I really didn't expect they would respond. I plan to write Wyndham as well to let them know, as they shouldn't affiliate their name & reputation on this horrible hotel. It is run down and in desperate need of serious repairs and a 'overhaul'.
- Alejandro (4/5): - Overall the hotel is worn down.
- Hailey (4/5): Disappointing - Was clean good location The bed was broken had two metal pieces sticking out and cut my leg
- Octavia (1/5): Beer stay here again Ever - Nothing Ran down, had no property lights, room smelled, pool shut down. Just all in all sucked
- Chancy (1/5): Terrible - Nothing The carpet and room was nasty nothing like the picture on the internet. Seen a roach crawl across the floor paid for 5 nights before we got there for 4 rooms I was supposed to get my money back still haven’t received it it’s been almost a month!!!
- Scallion (10/5): Exceptional - All Na
- Monica (2/5): - The property is filthy, the carpet looked like a crime scene, there are no pools even though the website says there are two, the second level walkway was held up by a 4x4 and bottle jacks. We did not stay here and i can't get in touch with anyone at Expedia to get my refund.
- Michelle (10/5): - The staff were friendly n it was very clean. The rm was very clean n beds were comfortable. We liked the breakfast.
- Colby (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jan (4/5): I doubt I will stay there again. - Bed was comfortable and Breakfast was a good selection. The building is old and needs of a
lot of repairs and updating to make it look nice. The rooms were not in good shape either with furniture in need of repair, door handles, etc. just a look of a run down building in need of fixing up the whole place.
- Shelly (4/5): Disappointing -
- craigsH7050BG (2/5): Don’t stay here. - Would never go here ever again. I would stay in my car before staying here. The room suck! Not clean at all the smell was terrible. The doors don’t open and close or lock good. The hot breakfast sucks. Good thing there was a Chick-fil-A next-door. The staff at night were great. Can’t say anything good about the day time staff at all. They was not helpful at all.
- 668austen (2/5): Avoid like the plague - Rooms smelled of smoke regardless being non-smoking. Hot water did not work in the morning. Pools were closed. Exterior looks terrible in the courtyard. Door barely closed. And once in a generation pot hole in the parking lot.
- Dorothy (5/5): Passable - Very run down. Much of the facility was roped off. Rooms boarded up. Ice machine broken. Our room rug had many stains where it was apparent that pets had stayed in the past. Have stayed here many times in the past for family reunions, weddings, and funerals. We will not stay here again
- MATTHEW (2/5): - The place needs to be torn down. Someone from corporate needs to inspect this to put your name on it. It's literally falling apart
- Margaret (1/5): I cancelled my stay. please make sure I did not get charged. - This was a motel!!! Not a Hotel.
- Christi (2/5): - Dirty pools were not open air conditioning barely worked fridge wasn't cold ice machine didn't work ect....
- Joe (5/5): Passable -
- Susanna (4/5): Disappointing - Location Door didn't work to room. room was dirty. Hotel is falling apart.
- Dewayne (2/5): - Bathroom rust, rust around doors, part of property was condemned, advertised pool but pools were closed. Poor poor poor facilities!
- Layne (6/5): - Rooms were clean property needs some cleaning outside The ice machine did not work which was a big disappointment and pool and fitness center closed which was the main reason I chose this facility.
When i asked about ice I was told there was only one machine and it was down.
- CarlBallard (6/5): Unfinished repairs all over. - Unfinished repairs everywhere, lots of caution tape and barriers laying around flipped upside down, the caution tape was ripped and blowing strung out .
- Rod (5/5): It was okay. But not really with what I paid considering the condition of the property. It’s been under same condition s - The location was good for what I needed. The bed was comfortable and room looked clean. Giant hole in driveway around back. Lots of construction and amenities not working.
- Connie (4/5): It was okay. Other than the obvious lack of renovation the room was pretty clean and the workers were helpful when we ne - The bed was comfortable and the room clean and cool. They put us in the wrong room first and then changed it. Which was good. But didn’t have any kid beds so my boy had to sleep in the floor on a pallet. Hole in drive that’s pretty bad and right in the middle of the road. And half the rooms were under construction
- Dan (6/5): - There was no smoke alarm in our room. There were barricades and caution tape on the building. Ice machines were not working. Also told they were short on key cards and only given one.
- Todd (2/5): - What was shown online when booking was completely opposite of what we got. No pool place falling apart on outside. Not enough accommodations in room for number of people i reserved for. Very much false advertising of their property online. We had to go out and pay to use a pool since theirs was not open. No manager available and new employee at front desk. I do not recommend reserving this hotel ever!!! I cant even believe expedia allowed this on their site with all the unjust pictures on expedia site and hotels own web site!!! Tried to give no stars but made me give 1 star
- Luther (10/5): - I was unable to enter the room by the issued key card. i later learned there was a special trick to get the card to work. A few times that I tried the trick it didn't work until the fourth or fifth time. NOT GOOD!!!
Also, I was unable to get the shower to function. We were unable to shower during our stay and had to leave without one.
- Jerry (6/5): - 2 pools, neither working. Bar on site, not open - no bartender so closed indefinitely. No working ice machines on site. Key card did not work in door x3
- Robert G. (4/5): Hotel in need of renovation - The hotel is just old and tired. On check in we were notified of no ice and no swimming pool.
We were only given one key because they only had a certain amount of keys.
In the bathroom we only had one towel adequate for drying. The other towel was a bath mat.
Looking at second floor support beams there were wood a clamps to support the second floor. Not sure anyone was staying on the second floor for this reason.
The bar advertised on the website, I believe was closed for probably not having any ice.
However our room air conditioner was excellent and the bed was comfortable.
- steinrobert85 (4/5): Custom harvester - Would not recommend until ownership and management take steps to repair the facilities.
Staff on site are great!
- debrakK9491HE (2/5): Filthy Place - Room and bathroom smelt like body odor; filth. Bugs in the room and bathroom. Black, sticky spots, on carpet. Curtains dirty and ripped. Pool was out of service. Common areas dirty, unswept. There were guys hanging out right outside our hotel door, drinking, and, “cutting up”. Overall, gross.
- Joshua (2/5): Very poor - Staff were friendly, reasonable, respectful. * Holes in the wall
* Toilet seat was broken
* Walls were dirty
* Bed Bugs or a Tick was on bed sheets
*Bed sheets were dirty
* Breakfast didn’t have many options (hair was in my cup)
- Laurie (10/5): - Nice place to stay
- Spence (9/5): Thank you for making it easy! - The check in process was flawless
- Anne (6/5): Pleasant -
- Deandra (5/5): Bargain room - The staff was very friendly! The cleanliness of the room was disappointing.
- Donnie (2/5): - Ended up not staying. Didn’t realize you didn’t enter the rooms from the inside. Several men sitting outside in the parking lot drinking and smoking. A refund would be nice.
- Abel (9/5): Superb -
- Shundray (6/5): - I was in room 132. The front desk associate was very nice. She gave me information about the area. A lot of questions I had. The lady answered them very kindly. I walked in the room and I was kind of disappointed. The pictures and the room don’t really match much. The parking lot by my room was very dark. I kept waking up to Check on my car. The pool is closed. They are waiting for funding from the corporate office to fix the pool. I was looking forward to swimming. The curtains was dirty and looked dingy. The wasn’t hung properly.
- Bonnie (7/5): Thanks for giving us what we needed! - We were traveling with my dog and we wanted a smoking room. Finding a room that allows dogs isn't so difficult anymore but smoking rooms are few and far between. We appreciate that some people still allow us to have a room that allows both. We had a problem with our door but our "neighbor " told us how to get in our room.
- Jason (5/5): Clean and friendly stafff -
- Cinde (2/5): - property needs renovation. Jacks under the walkways were scary, and everywhere outside looked like a construction zone.
- Kathleen (10/5): - This hotel was EXCELLENT. All staff goes out of their way to exhibit exemplary hospitality. Room was huge and clean. Breakfast each morning was delicious. Very pleased.
- Larry (3/5): Poor -
- Vanessa (4/5): - Property in poor condition. Both pools closed. In disrepair, lots of yellow tape areas blocked off. Temporary support beams holding up 2nd floor. Poor lighting. Shower handle plumbing bangs the shower wall. Very loose.
- Darlene (10/5): Awesome - It was wonderful
- Albert (5/5): Passable - AC did not work
- Shaldon (6/5): - Smooth check in. Hotel is dated. Poor drainage in the bathtub.
- Vela (9/5): Comfy - Breakfast was on point. Fantastic job. Staff was more than great. Loved it. There was one lady that was working the front desk at the altus location who brought her dog with her and worked front desk who was very rude and very judgemental poor customer service just horrible lady ...
- Robert (6/5): - Beds too squishy, lumpy &!soft. Breakfast really good. Friendly, helpful staff, including housekeeping.
- Shavanta (7/5): Very pleasant - Loved that is has a small bar area downstairs that u can go to and play pool the bartender was a very cool guy
