- Yoonha (1/5): Worst experience ever. - 프런트 직원 김동희 씨의 응대 태도는 매우 실망스러웠다. 체크인과 체크아웃 과정에서 “안녕하세요”, “안녕히 가세요”와 같은 기본적인 인사조차 없었고, 특히 체크아웃 시에는 “체크아웃요.”라는 말 한마디가 전부였다. 고객인 내가 먼저 “감사합니다”라고 인사를 했음에도 대답이 없다. 이는 단순한 실수가 아니라 지속적으로 반복된 무례한 태도다. 또한 체크인 과정에서 호텔 측의 명백한 문제가 발생했음에도, 해당 직원은 이를 설명하거나 해결하려는 태도를 보이지 않았고, 고객과 소통하려는 의지 자체가 없다. 표정과 응대 전반에서 호텔의 얼굴인 프론트 직원의 책임감이 전혀 보이지 않았다. 왜 프론트 업무를 맡고 있는지 알수없다. The front desk staff member Kim Donghee showed a very disappointing level of service. During both check-in and check-out, there were no basic greetings such as “hello” or “goodbye.” At check-out, the only thing said was “Are you checking out?” Even when I, as the guest, said “thank you” first, there was no response at all. This was not a one-time mistake, but a consistent lack of acknowledgment and courtesy. Furthermore, despite an issue caused by the hotel during check-in, the staff member made no effort to explain, resolve, or even communicate about the situation. There was no attempt at proper customer interaction. Overall, the attitude and behavior showed a complete absence of the basic professionalism expected in a front desk role. This level of service is unacceptable for a position that directly represents the hotel. 성인 3명 / 트리플룸(침대 3개) / 조식 포함으로 예약했다. 2인실에 사람 하나 얹은 예약이 아니라,처음부터 3명이 쓰는 방에 조식 포함으로 결제까지 완료된 예약이다. 그런데 체크인하자마자 호텔이 말을 바꾼다. “조식 포함이긴 한데 2명까지만 포함이라 3번째 사람은 추가 요금을 내야 한다”는 설명이다. 이 조건은 예약 과정 어디에도 없었다. 부킹닷컴 화면에는 분명히 성인 3명 + 조식 포함으로 표시돼 있었고, 그걸 믿고 예약했다. 이 점을 지적하자 호텔의 대응은 더 충격적이었다. “우리는 모른다. 부킹닷컴과 이야기하라.” 본인들이 판매한 객실 조건에 대해 전혀 책임이 없다는 것이다. 3인실 조식 포함을 팔아놓고, 현장에 와서 2명만 제공한다고 말하는 것이 맞는 일인가? 이건 단순한 착오가 아니다. 체크인 시점에 들이밀며 추가 결제를 요구하는 방식이다. 고객이 현장에서 선택권이 없다는 걸 이용한 것이다. 이런 식이면 예약에 표시된 ‘조식 포함’은 아무 의미가 없다. 예약 옵션을 교묘하게 꼬아놓고 현장에서 추가 갈취를 유도하는 배째라 영업 방식에 아주 불쾌했다. 고객을 기만하며 책임을 떠넘기는 이런 호텔은 자격이 없다. 절대 재방문하지 않을 것이며, 다른 분들도 피해 입지 않도록 이 사실을 널리 알리겠다. 최악의 경험이다. 다른 여행자들도 반드시 주의하길 바란다. I booked a triple room (three separate beds) for three adults with breakfast included. This was not a double room with an extra guest added; it was a three-person room, sold and paid for with breakfast included. At check-in, the hotel suddenly changed the story. They claimed that the “breakfast included” option only applies to two guests, and demanded extra payment for the third person. This condition was never disclosed during the booking process. The Booking.com reservation clearly showed 3 adults with breakfast included, which is exactly what I paid for. When I questioned this, the hotel’s response was unacceptable: “We don’t know. Contact Booking.com.” They refused any responsibility for the conditions under which they sold the room. Let’s be clear. If a hotel sells a three-person room with breakfast included, telling guests at check-in that only two people are covered is not reasonable. This is a deceitful business practice designed to lure guests with "included" options only to extort more money on-site. Their refusal to take responsibility and their "take it or leave it" attitude were truly shocking. This hotel deserves to fail for treating customers like this. I will NEVER return and will make sure everyone knows about their predatory tactics. Worst experience ever.

- Aaron (4/5): Not worth the price - The rooms were clean and the facilities empty but looked good Far away from town with limited cab service and not entirely friendly to foreigner staff. Which is fine but the water park was also closed and the breakfast was limited and expensive with the coffee machine broken. Just expected more for the price
- 종석 (8/5): - 조식부페를 이용해 보았는데, 식당이 15층이라 남한강을 바라보면 식사할 수 있어 좋았습니다. 가족 모두가 만족해 하셨네요. 추천합니다. 다만 식사시간이 제한적이라 많은 사람들이 몰려 좀 복잡하였고, 제공되는 식사종류가 가격대비 다양하지는 않아 조금 아쉬웠네요. 호텔 근처 가성비 좋은 식당도 있으니 한번씩 번갈아 이용하면 좋을 듯 합니다

- Joel (8/5): Great location for cyclist - We cycled from Seoul to Yeoju for the cross country medal. Sun valley was just beside the bike path, they allowed us to park the bicycles at the hotel lobby. No laundry provided. Convenience store at the basement. Suggest to buy breakfast because there arent any shops open nearby.

- Silke (8/5): Ein ruhiger Aufenthalt - Wir haben das große Zimmer mit großem gemütlichen Bett und schönem Blick auf den Fluss sehr genossen! Alles sehr sauber! Das Schwimmbad ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und in der Zeit unseres Aufenthalts war die gesamte Umgebung wie ausgestorben. Wir haben dementsprechend die Ruhe genossen! Über die Dame an der Rezeption haben wir uns etwas geärgert, nachdem wir nach Trinkwasser gefragt haben und sie uns daraufhin 10 Gehminuten zum Shop die Straße runter geschickt hat. Was wir einen Tag später entdeckt haben war der Conviniencestore im Hotel, eine Etage unter der Rezeption!

- Verified traveler (8/5): 전반적으로 훌륭, 수건과 가운에 머리카락은 아쉬움 - 썬밸리호텔은 전체적으로 만족스러웠던 곳이었습니다. 차로 10~20분 거리에 주요 관광지가 밀집해 있어 부담감도 없었습니다. 주차 시설도 편했습니다. 호텔룸도 전체적으로 정돈돼 있었습니다. 단지, 대형 사이즈의 수건과 가운 한 곳에서 머리카락을 발견했습니다. 그래서 해당 수건과 가운을 쓸 수 없었습니다. 사실 고객에게는 침대, 수건 등의 청결이 머리에 강하게 남거든요. 앞으로 좀 더 신경써 주신다면 더 훌륭한 호텔경험을 받을 수 있었을 것 같습니다.

- Ohkami_b (7/5): Grand resort-like hotel with too few customers to maintain full operations - Room was spacious, clean, and fit the 4 star rating of the hotel. Convenience store inside the hotel was convenient. Could store my bicycle easily. Location right on the cross-country bike path. Nice view from the restaurant on the top floor. One of those grand resort-like hotels which could not attract enough customers to maintain its operating scale and had to scale down facilities and operating expenses to stay in business. Pool area was closed and looks like it has been so for a while (see photo). Adjacent "water park" also had some areas closed and is basically just a pool playground for kids. Also, it was open only until 18:00 which makes it useless for overnighters like me. Korean restaurant was closed and the Western restaurant now serves a very limited menu of Western and Korean dishes. Breakfast was a choice of Korea or "American", the latter of which I took and was pretty bad. It's fine for a comfortable overnight on your bike tour but for sure don't stay more than a night here.

- Kristen (4/5): - We are staying in the area for several weeks to visit family, and decided to stay at this hotel for one night entirely for our kids to use the swimming pool(s). The property description on Expedia says there are various pools AND a water park for an extra fee. This is not true. There is only the water park that you have to pay extra for. Also, you must exit the hotel and then enter the water park in a separate door way. Half of the water park was closed for some reason (including the large water slides). The areas that were open were pretty dingy and worn out looking (grimy water stains on walls and poor interior lighting). Also, they require you to wear a cap if you want to swim, and many of the lifeguards spent their time staring at their smart phones. On a positive note, the rooms are well kept, clean, and mostly updated. Additionally, the restaurant on the 13th floor had wonderful views of the river. However, we did see mold growing on the grapes set out for the breakfast buffet. Yeoju is definitely worth visiting, but if you require a high standard of lodging, maybe this place should not be the first choice. If you only need a room (i.e., no food or swimming), it could be pretty good.

- ILHYUN (8/5): 가족 여행 후기 - 비수기 방문이라 그런지 호텔은 비교적 한산한 모습이었으며, 관리는 그런대로 잘 되고 있어 보입니다. 객실은 비교적 깨끗한 편이며, 제공되는 수건은 상태가 좋지않은 냄새가 나는 경우가 있습니다. 호텔 앞 쪽 강변은 산책하기 좋은 곳으로 보여지며, 객실에서 뷰는 좋은 편 입니다. 여주 신세계아울렛은 차로 16분 정도이며, 주변 상권은 차로 이동하여야 이동 가능 합니다.
