Verified traveler (8/5): Nice location- small room - Wife and I enjoyed this 10 day stay in balcony aircon room with King bed. Pros: Location is near to main crossroad for beach and restaurants etc, but no where near Bangla Road and Oceanfront where all the night time noise is. Aircon strong, Walk to beach front in 5-10 minutes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of food and massage and 7-11 options nearby. Laundry across the alley. Cons: Rooms are tiny, bathroom is tiny, balcony tiny. You must take your key out of the slot when you leave room, so electric shuts off and room is an oven when you return. Elevator stopped working for about 4 days, 4th floor, lots of stairs😉. Anyway, overall a good experience, just small👍

rolf stian H. (10/5): Fint hotell - Vi hadde dette hotellet i 9 netter, men overnattet på øyer i 3 av dem. Fint og rimelig hotell. Ansatte kunne ikke så godt engelsk, men alt ordnet seg fordet. Hyggelige ansatte. De vasket rommene i utgangspunktet hver dag tror jeg, men vi ba dem la vær noen dager da vi ikke var så mye på rommet. Rimelig hotell til å ha som base for koffertene hvis dere har tenkt å overnatte på øyer i tilegg.

Timmilente (10/5): Good price/quality - 15 days I have paid 12.600 bath, really good price for this hotel. Everything worked ok, the bed was comfortable, shower was ok. But the reason I will be back to this hotel on my next vacation to Phuket is... the very friendly staff at the reception. Both the woman on day shift and the man on night shift are extraordinary people... Very helpfull people and they made my stay perfekt. Thank you so much Tan and Yai... zanezane (8/5): For the money this is a great value. - Ok, don't let the name fool you.... This hotel is not in front of the sea. But if you are looking for an inexpensive, clean safe hotel this is one to consider. I have been staying here for 15 years and it has gone through some changes, some for the better and some for the worse. The staff is small, but everyone is very nice! I recommend if you stay here that you go across the street of the front entrance and rent a motor bike from the lady and her husband. They will also do your laundry for a very reasonable price. They could not be nicer. My only real complaint is that the beds are a bit hard, but I find that is true in most Thai hotels. They should invest in some mattress toppers. All in this hotel is a great value!!! I will be back!

marksQ5843CD (6/5): Adequate quiet place to stay - We booked via an agency in Phuket (we booked a tour to Khao Sok National Park and they suggested this place for the preceeding nights). We were a group of friends travelling so in retrospect probably would have rathered a hostel environment where we could meet people and make the most of the Patong nightlife. This place didn't have any social vibe and was a bit expensive for our budget, and doesn't offer breakfast. On the plus side it was quiet, clean, had A/C, good shower and beds, accommodating staff and pretty good location, 15mins walk from Bangla Road, and plenty of shops on your doorstep.
AJames37 (8/5): Budget Accommodation - Found this hotel on-line. All communications were clear and prompt. All services received were friendly and good. Accommodation was clean, each room with own bathroom and air conditioning and lockable safe. Rooms serviced daily. Situated close to everything such as the beach, shopping, restaurants, bars, night life, yet just off the main roads so a little less hectic. For the budget accommodation we required this served our purpose perfectly.
Poulomi13 (10/5): Great location - clean and spacious rooms - Nice , spacious , clean rooms with friendly staff . Main market area is at a walkable distance. Restaurants and shops are near by . Avoid enquiring about minibuses and taxi at the reception , walk for 2 mins you get numerous travel booths who offers better price and options . No restaurant in this hotel , but who cares when there is such huge sea food options just across the road.

johncJ5693EE (10/5): I'm a frequent visitor to this excellent hotel - I'm a frequent visitor to this excellent hotel for a number of good reasons, its set in a quiet location off one of the main roads, its easy walking distance to the beach, shopping centre and the kicking night life, the nice little hotel has a range of excellent rooms all well serviced, well maintained, good aircon, mini fridge, tv & dvd player, in room safe, laundry service, 24hr reception/security and very reasonably priced, I really can't fault this nice little hotel.

IntrepidNick (8/5): Very Nice Hotel in Town - This a very nice hotel for not much money. I think I paid 22 USD per night for a room with a double bed, safe deposit box, private bathroom, and A/C. Just to be clear, there is nothing "Sea Front" about this hotel, but I hear the ocean isn't too great to be swimming in anyway. However, it is close to Bangla Road which is where all the big parties happen in Phuket. It's a 5-10min walk just down the road to get to the big parties, bars, and clubs so it's in a very good location. The staff where very helpful as well. They always greeted me very politely and even helped me find my way around. One lady gave me a map a wrote notes all over it to help me find my way. All in all, I would recommend this hotel and if I come back to Phuket I would probably stay here again.

The reception were very helpful when booking transfers and activities the price is also cheaper than the one we ask at the airport as well as tour counter around the area. Will definitely come back
Emma-george (8/5): Good basic acomadtion - Good basic rooms for the price you can not moan 24 hour reception clean rooms adequate room as we only slept and washed there as we went out all day stopped there one night as we weaned a pool but great cheap accommodation felt safe and comfortable .

The staff in sea front home were very helpful when booking transfers and activities during the day and evenings. Rooms were cleaned daily and we had no complaints especially based on the affordable price we paid for the room. Would have been nice to have the hotel much closer to the beach but other than that, no major complaints
PutriSetiadi (4/5): Seafront? more like Street front! - Booked this hotel thru this travel agent in Phuket and she said this hotel was actually 5 mins walk from the beach, which isnt. Its more like street front. the location was OK, lots of restaurant and shops. The receptionist was so rude and didnt smile at all. what a bad customer service. over all the room and bathroom was clean. but very very poor location and bad customer service.
ErlingSG (2/5): Horrible hotel. - As previously stated in other reviews, this sorry excuse for a hotel is to be avoided at nearly all costs. The rooms do not resemble the pictures advertised at all, there is nothing "Sea Front" about it, and the staff leave much to be desired in terms of language-skills, service and overall attitude. The rooms are not half bad, but it is not difficult to get better value for money elsewhere in Phuket.
MD90Tech (4/5): Nice, clean, friendly staff and quiet - not! - Me and two other friends stayed in this hotel for eight nights in November, 2011. The rooms was not as advertised, the name "Sea Front Home" has nothing to do with sea, beaches or anything else (20 min walk to the beach) and the "Beutiful Stranger Bar" looked nothing like a bar, and we rarely saw any customers (The Lying Inn bar next door was much more friendly and inviting). If we had not prepaid the stay, we would have changed hotel the first day. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
