• Carleen (4/5): Melton needs more accommodation options as this was very disappointing. - The beds were quite comfortable and the location is good. You can park across from your room. No stairs. The smell. The cleaning and fragrance had my asthma and sinuses affected. We had the window open as much as possible, which had no fly screen. The bathroom window doesn’t latch. The products of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and liquid soap were in dispensers that were cheap and you had no idea on what brand or product they were. The pipes sang was you had a shower.There was a spider running over my suitcase. They supplied a tea towel but no dish washing liquid. They supplied only the very minimum 4 teas and coffees with 6 little milks. As I I had to buy extra milk for the second night they saw this and only supplied me 4 for the next day. Not worth the money we paid.

• DOLLING (8/5): Staying at the Melton Motor Inn made our stay even better than I could have dreamed. - In our queen-size room. It had clean sheets, a very comfy bed & pillows. Heating was great. Hot water in the shower was continuous and had better water pressure than I have at home! The grounds were clean and inviting to sit outside and eat breakfast that had been brought from the shop across the road. A supermarket etc across the road as well. It was in a great location, with cafes, restaurants, etc all around. The price was great for our 6 night stay. As we were going to be arriving later in the evening , the communication from Jag was via text with clear key instructions & photos of how to get into our room. There was even a microwave in the room along with small milks & teas in the room for us. The only thing I didn't like was the room scent deodorizer on walking into the closed room. I am very sensitive to highly perfumed chemicals. I know this is done for the freshness of the room after cleaning. Maybe next time we visit I will request no Deoderizer in the room?

Bed was comfortable, however the pillows on the main bed were too hard for both my wife and I. Would be good if there was a choice between soft and hard pillows. The pillows were too hard. As two pillows were provided for both sides of the bed, a choice of soft and hard would have been great.

• Daniela (2/5): Very disappointing - We didn't stay at the motel room but we got an apartment which was around 300m away from the Motel.. We really appreciate the short notice booking. The appartment was big and had a lock up garage. The house was dirty. The bath tub was filled with yellow, smelly water. The floor and carpets were dirty. Kitchen counter was sticky. When we messaged the motel owner he just mentioned that the appartment was empty for a couple of days. We paid more than $260 for one night and would have expected way more.

I love it has a kettle, toaster & microwave so easy to bring a few things and create our own dinner and breakie. It is really comfortable and staff very helpful. Would stay there anytime we're passing through.

• Andrew (5/5): Very disappointed - strong stench on arrival and a total lack of cleaning. Dead flies all over bath. - Convenient location for Melton. Clean bed sheets. Ideal for workmen who just want to somewhere to crash at night. Obviously used previously as an old persons facility - had a unique ‘aroma’ inside. Had to buy an air freshener. Half eaten biscuits on the floor. Dead flies all over the bath. No handle on the very old fridge. One of the cooker rings didn’t work. Electrical tape on some plugs.

• Debra An Gerald (7/5): Adequate for what I needed - Bed was very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. The room was mostly clean except they could have dusted the surfaces and I found hair on the pillow on the single bed and over the toilet seat.

• Dave (9/5): Perfect for my short stay. - Room size, shower, bed, facilities: All good. Just a picky little thing. the window view was a blank wall, I'm sure that was by necessity, good privacy, no problem. but somebody had started trying to make a little garden, which would of been nice, I'm sure that would not be an easy task given the restricted space, but it would of lifted the view a lot.
