This was the perfect place for us to stay as it was exactly halfway between Santander and the house we're renovating in the area. Highly recommended and will use this hotel as overflow property when multiple family and friends come to visit but don't all fit in our house.😂

Las habitaciones no son muy grandes pero lo suficiente, y están muy limpias. Dejan llevar al perro. Son muy amables, a mi hasta me compraron el periódico. Muy recomendable y muy buena relación calidad-precio.
- Peter (8/5): Ferry overnighter - Nice hotel - very good value and clean Difficult to find but if we hadn’t taken the slip road as per sat nav and gone a bit further there was a sign for the hotel and a better entrance We had our dog with us so the big room was a bonus We booked this hotel as it said :- English spoken Bar/ lounge Room Service None of this was available for our stay - probably better in the summer Fortunately we had food and drink in the car that we were going to take home Restaurants available in the next village but we couldn’t use as we didn’t want to leave our dog

Desayuno abundante y de calidad, además de económico. Por poner alguna pega, armario algo pequeño si llevas mucho equipaje.

Goede uitvalsbasis om steden als santander te bezoeken. Wij vonden het jammer dat het niet mogelijk was om te eten (in de avond) of een drankje te drinken in het hotel.

No amenities in the hotel as although there was a small kitchen to get a drink it was looked on the day we were there and had to wait until 6pm when someone arrived to unlock the door as hotel unmanned most of the day.

Breakfast was simple and good, and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. I was really glad I chose this place - like a country home with all the comforts.

- David (10/5): Excellent - We chose this hotel because it was only 30 minutes from the port of Santander. What a beautiful surprise. The location is rural and very attractive. The building is old but tastefully converted and modern. We dined in the local village of Puente Viesgo (la Union) where we were also made to feel very welcome. After booking we discovered some prehistoric caves were nearby and booked to visit them too. They were absolutely amazing and beat Lascaux and Altamira hands down. We intend to explore more of this beautiful area and will definitely stay in Villa Arce again.

- Paul (10/5): Perfection at its best - This has been the most relaxing hotel stay we have had, this little hotel is magnificent, quiet and immaculate, amazing views. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for peace and quiet in a very stylish and well kept hotel.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Het geld niet waard! - Het internet was erg slecht, zo slecht dat de betaling bij vertrek met creditcard niet mogelijk was. Niemand van het hotel sprak Engels. Het uitchecken duurde hierdoor bijna 1 uur. De kamer zag er mooi uit maar was klam en vochtig. Het hotel was het bedrag niet waard.

- Stephen (10/5): Fantastic countryside retreat - Beautiful green hills to look at, very comfortable tempurpedic bed, quiet town, good wifi and reasonable priced minibar snacks all for 35 euros. Well priced and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again

- Verified traveler (6/5): 景色は抜群 - のどかな丘陵地にある眺めのよいペンション。羊、鶏、牛が周囲で放牧されているので、その手の臭いに敏感な人にはお勧めしない。英語は全く通じないので片言でも必要なスペイン語は覚えていきましょう。 建物は新しくて清潔、夜はとっても静かな環境で熟睡できます。 ただし、周囲には飲食店を含め雑貨屋などは全くありません。
- deb nz (10/5): a must visit - A wonderful hotel. Staff were very gracious with our poor espanol. The decor and all accessories are beautiful. Breakfast presentation and taste were super. The whole overnight visit was a delight.

Aparte de esto, el personal es muy agradable y atento, y el hotel tiene mucho encanto. tiene cuidados muchos detalles pero le falla la habitación.

- deb_ch (8/5): Pleasant surprise. - Very nice, modern place, you would not expect in such a remote area (though Puente Viesgo has prehistoric caves, UNICEF World Heritage), which are a must visit! The staff at the hotel was barely speaking another language than Spanish, which was a bit of a challenge, but it worked out well. Breakfast was awesome. Settings are great. Nice garden to hang about in midst of cows, chicken, sheep, ..just plain beautiful..
