Guest Reviews
- Lisa (10/5): - Clean and cozy cabin!
- Carmel (10/5): - Very clean & comfortable . Shopping near by
- Susan (8/5): Cozy Cabin - We were in unit D. Everything was great except for the bed. The bed frame creaked terribly whenever you moved and the mattress sagged in the middle and was not comfortable at all. This is not a hotel but a privately owned 4plex, however it was very clean, and suited our needs. I would definitely stay again IF they replaced the bed.
- John (8/5): - The upstairs guests were heard clearly through the floors.
- Traci (8/5): - The property was wonderful. My only suggestion is maybe have the outside lights on a little longer. We had a terrible travel day with the ferries and did not arrive until around 11:30 pm. It was pitch black for us to take things up the stairs into the unit and use the lock box.
- 403scottn (10/5): Nice Cabin Feel - We just recently got back from Vancouver Island and we stayed at Ucluelet and the Wild Pacific Waterfront Cabins for 3 nights. The cabins are quant and offer all that is described. There are a lot of choices for places to stay in Ucluelet and the Tofino area. So, do your homework and get what matches your needs and tastes. Wild Pacific Waterfront cabins are great for those that want a break from restaurants and eating "at home". The kitchens had all we needed, as well as a deck to view the inlet. Unfortunately, our hot tub was not working, and that would have been a nice addition to this quiet retreat. The location is very close to both downtown Ucluelet and the Lighthouse area. We also had a black bear visit next door, and a view of one down in the water inlet. So, we enjoyed our stay here and is likely a good price for what we received.
- Danny (8/5): - Really awesome property for us. So close to places to explore and shopping and a view of both water and forest. Great communication from the property. We look for properties with kitchens and this one served us well. Even had a good quality bbq. One downside was thin walls. If you’re a light sleeper you’ll hear every footstep your upstairs neighbours take.
- Lindsey (8/5): - Very clean, quiet, and serene. Enjoyed our short stay.
- Ria (10/5): - The setting was gorgeous. Loved sitting on the patio and enjoy the forest and water below. The cabin was very cozy.
- Ludmila (10/5): - Host is available any time and ready to help - thank you!
Amazing proximity to wonderfoul hikes or coffe shops. We like to cook ourself - I can.t say anything about dining options. You feel as you are outside all the time, becouse your perfect view!
- Tess A (10/5): Will be back soon! - We stayed at the Wild Pacific Waterfront Cabins for three nights and had such a lovely experience! The cabin was incredibly clean, well-stocked with everything we needed (from cutlery to towels to a teapot, etc), and easy to find and check into. The host was super responsive and easy to communicate with, and the location in Ucluelet was perfect, quiet, peaceful, and close to everything. We can’t wait to come back!
- Carmen (6/5): - Property was very clean and only a short drive or 20 minute walk into town. The bed was comfortable. Do not feel property description gives enough details of inside layout. The loft bedroom is accessible by narrow, steep stairs making nighttime trips to main floor bathroom a bit scary as there is no staircase lighting. Outside access to this upper unit accessible by narrow, steep stairs with a shaky railing. Property does not match the luxurious price charged.
- Claire (8/5): - A bit noisy on bottom floor from room above, no outside lights by door to see at night and couldn’t get lock to open to put garbage in outside. Little things but a bit aggravating. Overall beautiful place and nice location
- Elaine (8/5): - Nice place for a cabin for a couple. It a lower cabin.
There are no directions as to how to turn on the heat in the main part of the cabin.
The hot tub outside our window was out of order, though we would not used it anyway.
The cabin is within walking distance to the Ucluelet Wild Pacific Trail to the Lighthouse.
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and appreciated the kitchen.
- Brian S (10/5): - Cabin nice, rustic, clean. Great spot overlooking the water. Nice deck to sit out on.
- Shawn (10/5): A wonderfully relaxing time - We had a wonderful stay and it was very clean. We would definitely stay here again!!
- Judith (8/5): - Couldn’t lock the doors when I left. Could not contact person in charge until 10 am
- Barbara (10/5): - Loved the big timbers and wood walls - makes a cozy feel. Stayed in an upper unit with soaring ceiling and loft bedroom. Electric fireplace was easy to use for one night when it was cooler outside. Quiet neighbourhood. Highly recommend this place! Ucluelet is an eclectic village - something for everyone. Easy access to Pacific Rim Nat'l Park and the local beach.
- GREGORY (10/5): - My wife & I were both impressed with how clean the whole cabin was. The bed was very comfortable. Only regret was the number of stairs up to the front door & then the number of stairs up to the bedroom. So next time we may opt for the downstairs cabin.
- Rod (8/5): - Very clean and quiet suite close to trails. Very comfortable bed, quality towels and well equipped kitchen.
Soaker tub was nice but jets didnt work.
Excellent communication with Yvonne!
- Kseniia (10/5): - We loved our stay at this cabin in Ucluelet! It was super cozy, really clean and had everything we needed - from all kitchen utensils and appliances to the most comfortable bed! You can tell it’s really well taken care of. It was the perfect little spot to unwind, and we’d 100% stay here again.
P.s. upper floor is totally worth paying a little bit more for!
- Kathy (10/5): - Would definitely plan to stay again. Perfect getaway. Beautiful, clean and quiet.
- Vernon (10/5): - Fantastic location near trails and beaches. View from back deck very serene. Yvonne was very nice and quick with responses to all questions. Highly recommend!!
- Paula (10/5): - This was one of the best stays ever! Such a beautiful cozy cabin I would 100% come back. The cabin is very clean and comfortable to stay in
- Colleen (10/5): - Great place would definately stay again
- Graham (8/5): - Our overall experience was good. It is close to the centre of town, but not too close. The excellent trails are close and easily accessed. The unit was clean inside, but the building is showing its age. The hot tub was empty and there is algae growing on the edge of the hot tub lid. Though the trees provide shade, they impede the view of the channel. The unit would benefit from one or two USB outlets.
- Kateryna (10/5): - Everything was perfect! The cabin was sparkling clean, warm and cozy!
- Sandra (10/5): - It was a really nice place to stay and we enjoyed our time there. It would have been perfect if the hot tub was working.
- Micah (10/5): - We were originally concerned about possible noise from others (we were on the top floor, and had a neighbour directly across from us), but it wasn’t an issue for the duration of our visit. The hot tub was out of service during our stay which was disappointing. The stairs inside were very narrow, so more caution coming down. The kitchen was minimally stocked (spices, condiments) compared to many other similar places I have stayed, which for the most part was ok, but we did have to go into town to by some salt. There were a few tiny packets, but not many. Besides these few complaints I still give a good rating. It was quiet, cozy, had a bbq, and a deck to drink my warm drink in the morning. Reasonably priced, and off the main road made for a nice stay.
- Jojojo100027 (8/5): Cosy cabin - Have just stayed here in cabin A for 2 nights. Firstly Yvonne is a fabulous host, easy to contact and the cabin is spotless with all amenities.
Bed comfy, heating and electric fireplace and an outside area. In this area is an old hot tub which is looking rotten and is not in use. There are massive windows from the sitting room to outside. Unfortunately, there are no blinds or curtains for this window which makes no sense. On our first night we were sat on the sofa, it was dark outside and I got a fright as the neighbouring guests were at the window lost and could see in completely which didn’t put me at ease. Maybe there is a reason for there being no blinds but also when you when to walk by the windows to get to and from the bathroom and bedroom it would be so much better to ensure privacy.
Aside from that the stay was perfect, lovely location and we often saw deer right outside.
Each cabin has parking for 1 car.
- Neal (10/5): - Yvonne was available to answer questions. The property is impeccably appointed. Very cosy.
- Maria (8/5): - Within walking distance to beautiful hiking trails and beaches. Had a phenomenal dinner at Pluvio, which we walked to. Lots of cute little shops and galleries, and bike paths too!
- 182shaib (10/5): Great cabin! - We spent 3 nights at the upstairs unit. It was a terrific cabin. Very peaceful. The kitchen had all the utensils and equipment you need. Balcony was a great place to unwind. Everything was clean and modern. The shower was a nice surprise: it had shower heads on both sides, and great pressure too! No complaints.
- Bonnie (10/5): - Wonderful clean property, owner of the property was super friendly and an excellent host! A definite recommendation for these beautiful cabins
- Arabella may (4/5): - My overall experience at this property was quite below average. Unfortunately the television was not included in what be paid for which is ridiculous considering the price.
We had found rolled up in the sofa bed undergarments of what we assume is from a little boy with feces on them and toes nails under the main bedding upstairs.
I would not recommend this place to anyone and will be staying somewhere else in future.
- Kevin (8/5): - Nice property
- Dennis (10/5): - A well-provisioned cabin within walking distance of the Lighthouse Loop.
- Betty (8/5): - Property was very good, would go back again.
- Tom (8/5): - All quite satisfactory. The ground floor unit was a little gloomy because the windows looking towards the inlet were overshadowed by dense vegetation.
- Patrick (10/5): Great spot to stay and do sightseeing - Great place to stay . Very close to the lighthouse.... walking distance . The premise was very clean . There was a double shower in the bathroom. Very quiet area on a dead end street. Saw lots of deer on the street that we stayed at as well as around the neighborhood.
- Debra (10/5): - Really lovely property with kitchen and fireplace. Access to 2 balconies with views of gorgeous trees and water. Yvonne the manager was friendly and helpful when we had some confusion pre arrival. Great location to nearby beaches and walks. Highly recommended and will definitely book it again.
- Asa (10/5): - Perfect little cabin with all needed amenities
- Wayne (10/5): - Bar type table with two tall chairs and one easy chair did not allow a couple to sit together. Chairs were too tall for elderly.
- Mary (10/5): - Management supported us and adjusted our arrival and departure times to match highway 4 open times (and closures).
- Richard (10/5): - Clean comfortable cabin with a fully equipped kitchen in a beautiful area.
- Maryna (10/5): - Nice and cozy suite in quiet location.
- Paul (10/5): - We stayed in the second floor two story unit with the bedroom on the second level and the living room, with a sofa sleeper, kitchen and bathroom on the first level. The unit was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well appointed. The entire interior is covered with wood. It looked great. There is a deck with two chairs and a small table. The two story window wall faces the pine trees. Lighting was good. There is a ceiling fan in the two story space. There is granite floor tile in the kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom towels were thick. The area was quiet. Private parking is right in front of the building. This unit was light years better than a cookie cutter hotel room. The owner's communication was excellent. We would highly recommend this place.
- Laurie (6/5): - Clean, nice view.
Noisy. Garbage not locked by past guest. Smelly could not open windows
- Erick (10/5): - nice forest setting.
- Derek (10/5): - Great place to stay. Backyard views were awesome, it was quiet, and the cabin was so charming on the inside as well.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Wonderful place to relax and enjoy your time in the town and beaches. Clean and beautiful.
- Joyce (10/5): - Perfect quiet spot for our get away. Walking trails right out the door. Cooked our own meals right there with a well equipped kitchen and barbecue. Hot tubs were not working but we would have used them anyways. Very happy with everything and will book again next year when we are back for epic fishing.
- Troy (10/5): - Yvonne was an exceptional host and very helpful for letting us know about local attractions and events while we were there.
- paul (10/5): - The cabin was immaculate. Yvonne was so nice and was available if we had any isues, but we didn't. Its a short 2min walk to Little beach and about 10min walk to the Lighthouse. Sitting on the back deck over looking the inlet was just perfect. We even saw a black bear!
Will definately be back
- BRIAN (10/5): - The hot tubes were not working nor were they ever going to. However owners choice great place otherwise would book again
- Ryan (10/5): - Clean and quiet. Great place to get away.
- Anne-Marie (10/5): Great accommodation - lovely cabins - Wonderful visit to the West Coast. This facility is excellent, well-equipped and comfortable. It was very clean and on a quiet street. Check-in and out was a breeze and everything was as expected - no surprises! Walking in the neighbourhood is very pleasant and the beach is about a 5 min walk away - location is good. We visit this area of BC regularly and would definitely recommend this facility.
- Joseph (10/5): - My wife and I stayed in Unit C for a few days. It was a PERFECT place to stay. Loved having a kitchen to store and prepare some meals. The location is very close to everything we needed, but still a bit tucked away so sleeping with windows open and not hearing street noise was a plus. There is a hot tub available, but we didn't use it on our trip.
- Paula (8/5): - Overall property was lovely. Upstair neighbours very noisy. Can hear everything, including them snoring. Would recommend upper units when booking.
- CHRIS (8/5): - Nice cabin. Close to walking trails and not far from middle of town. The fireplace was very nice and the room layout was good. Would have liked the hot tub to be working, not sure why it wasn't since Covid restrictions have ended. Would stay here again.
- Cori (10/5): - Cute cabin, cozy, nicely decorated. BBQ and picnic table overlooking water-very nice, very peaceful.
- Micah (10/5): - Nice Beams
- Kayla (2/5): Save your money, go elsewhere. - Communication was brutal.
We arrived to a wonderful stay in the late hours. Noticed the hot water wasn't working tried to call the host with no answer. The next day came back from Tofino to no parking in the lot, again tried to call host with no answer. Called a total of 8 times leaving messages and no response. I saw her each day though walking her dog but no response from her.
After check out she finally called me back and asked if we wanted to extend our stay............
Wouldn't recommend this place if you are looking for someone to be present when there is an issue. Also the hot tubs are empty now. Would have been good to know ahead of time.
- Darryl (8/5): - I enjoyed the cozy feel of the room. I did not enjoy how loud it was from outside the room when people walked by - was quite loud.
- David (10/5): - Though the cabin is quite pricey, it's worth the cost. Unit in excellent condition- tastefully decorated, warm cabin/rustic feel, excellent equipped full kitchen, electric fireplace wonderful in cold evenings. Even have a propane BBQ available. the only issue is parking space for 4 vehicles very tight.
- Darren (10/5): - The suite is immaculate and well appointed. The setting is spectacular, and the hosts delightful to work with
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The back lower deck facing water is fabulous.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful and well-equipped unit that’s a short drive, or 20 min walk to the main part of Ucluelet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very Peace and Calm place.
- Eran (10/5): Perfect get away - The most perfect cabin ever, loved everthing about it.will definitely book here again ever time i go to Ucluelet.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved the rustic cabin decor. Comfortable bed and excellent kitchen facilities. Loved the view of the water.
- Bonnie (8/5): - The hot tub was not in use and we couldn’t figure out how to start the fireplace. (Or the other little fireplace.)
The shower was very nice. Sound proofing from the upper unit could be better.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Property description included hot tub but we were informed upon check-in that the hot tub was drained due to COVID and further the fireplace was not working so a space heater provided. This was less than ideal .
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Love the layout, view and relaxing atmosphere! Would definitely stay there again!
- jaxintarus (10/5): Beautiful views, super clean suite, close to lovely beaches - Fantastic place to stay in Uclulelet. We stayed in the Spring Cove (D) suite for four nights and it was wonderful. There’s a fully equipped kitchen, a shared BBQ that we used almost every night, beautifully peaceful views from the room (even saw a couple of eagles!) and a lovely deck to sit out on and read a book. The suite was extremely clean and very close to the Wild Pacific Trail, Terrace Beach, and Little Beach, where we walked to almost every night to watch the sunset. Yvonne is a great host, very hospitable and knowledgeable about the area and super friendly. We would stay here again the next time we’re in Ucluelet!

- Harriet (10/5): Great cabin - Very comfy room with everything we needed. The sheets and bed were super comfy. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking. Great location, close to the Terace beach to watch the sunset and walking distance to the Wild pacific Trail lighthouse loop. Great access to the beaches for surfing which were a short drive away. Ucluelet has everything we needed, coop to buy groceries, surf rental shop, brewery for a beer with a view and a fee restaurants if you want to eat out
- Gabriel (8/5): - I enjoyed the private hot tubs but there is very little sound barrier between the upper and lower floors
- Elizabeth (10/5): Secluded, peaceful - Perfection in a word! Yvonne is a very hospirable, thoughtful host. She has a very lovely property ....peaceful, relaxing, stress free and very beautiful. Very clean, organized, comfort on tap. Grill, hot tub, decks with searing, comfortable bed.... home away from home!
- Mervyy27 (8/5): Pristine but no water view - We stayed 2 nights as a couple in unit A. Yvonne was lovely and very helpful. The cabin is well set up and kept very clean. Access to bbq and deck as well as hot tub which we did not use. Parking is very tight. Our major disappointment was the fireplace did not work which we were told on check in but no compensation was offered for this deficiency. This is an important feature for my wife especially. While it os accurately "waterfront" one cannot see the water due to trees! We were expecting a water view given the description which was also a let down. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Summary: clean, comfortable but no water view!! Hopefully the fireplace is fixed for you if you choose to stay!
- Stuart (10/5): - Nice quite location, easy for coast trail walks. Owner gave great advice for thinfs to see and do.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely accommodations and appreciated the recommendations from the owner.
- philip (10/5): Cabins on the Pacific Rim - highly recommended - Excellently placed in Ucluelet. You can walk the Pacific Rim from the property. Well equipped cabin with a full kitchen, comfortable mezzanine bed with a large lounge below a large private balcony complete with your own jacuzzi which overlooks a river and is fantastic for the evening after a day of hiking along this amazing coastline. Everything worked in the property and everything was clean. Have no problems recommending these cabins for anyone looking to stay in the Ucluelet area.
- Robin (10/5): - Great location and Yvonne was most welcoming and informative about the area. It was totally down to her that we got to see wild black bears up close.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Had an amazing 2 night stay here, couldn't have asked for a better oceanside retreat, Yvonne was very knowledgeable with local activities and sights to see, just a pleasure to deal with! Highly recommend these cabins, will book again in the future
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable. Quiet area, will come again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location, easy to find and no problem with check-in.
- Eric (10/5): - It was great. Yvon is doing a fantastic job.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nicely kitted out with full (small) kitchen facilities, comfortable bed, good storage for gear and nice patio space, including shared BBQ.
The check-in was a bit confusing as it wasn't on location at the property itself. An advance email with directions to the check-in would have been nice to save time and confusion.
Also, we were in a lower floor unit and fortunately the room above us was vacant for a couple of nights, but we found it very noisy when there were guests in residence above us (mostly floor impact).
All in all the place was exceptionally clean and conveniently located near the Wild Pacific Trail and Terrace & Little Beaches. We will come back!
- D3860CHalanm (2/5): OK, but... not as advertised. - We were disappointed with Wild Pacific Ocean Front cabins. We booked and paid top dollar for a 'luxury" ground floor suite cabin, which turned out to be one room in a fourplex 'cabin'. We thought Ocean Front meant we'd have at least a glimpse of the ocean. But no, the 'Wild Pacific Ocean Front' cabin instead overlooked the placid back bay inlet, which one could wade across at low tide. And even the glimpse was obscured by the trees. And there was no access to the water from the cabin. The 'suite' was described as 'luxury', yet it was a long way from our experience with luxury elsewhere. We had only a small bar height table to eat our meals from. One of us had to sit on the bed while looking out the window or watching TV, as there was only one chair. The advertised 'fireplace' was, to our chagrin, neither wood burning nor gas burning, but electronic-- it burnt nothing apart from, perhaps, a few pixels. On the positive side, the room was clean and comfy, with the kitchen well stocked with cooking implements. The spa was hot, but not entirely private, as guests of neighboring cabins shared a view of our deck and tub. It would have been more luxurious had the spa motor, which requires cycling 24/7, had been placed other than the immediate other side of the wall from the bed. We know the spa motor has to run, and guests must tolerate a certain amount of noise because of it. But the design of having the bed within a few feet of the motor seemed preventable. We will return to Ucluelet and the remarkable beauty of the area, but not to this establishment.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great host and nice hot tub ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very comfortable, clean, cozy. Yvonne, our host was very friendly and offered lots of information for Ucluelet.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay and location - Great stay, location and cabin
Our only down would be couldn't warm the main part of the cabin? Bathroom was nice and warm
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lots of places to lounge around outside. Would love to come back.
- Christina (10/5): - We had a fabulous time in Ucluelet. Yvonne the owner was fantastic. We would definitely book again here if we were in the area.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - privacy, cleanliness and amenities. property owner was very helpful and gave us ideas on what to do and see in the area.
- jackiedO6984HY (10/5): Spectacular - Yvonne was an amazing and friendly host who made our stay incredible. The cabin is absolutely flawless equipped with everything you need in the kitchen (besides your own food). The beds are wonderfully comfortable, even the pullout couch. 5 minutes (not a minute longer) to gorgeous Little Beach and Terrace Beach. Great Lighthouse trail starts right up the street. I give it 5 stars because it went beyond my expectations. Also, there's a hot tub, how much better can it get???
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was lovely and private very homey. Only downside is it was an electric fireplace
- edesem123 (8/5): Great value! - We spent 4 days here in the Wild Pacific Suite while visiting Ucluelet, and really enjoyed it.
I thought the cabin was great - rustic, cozy, and comfortable, with everything one needs, and a lovely hot tub to boot.
My husband found it a bit dark, given that the cabin faces onto tall trees, so the sunlight was blocked to a certain extent, but I imagine that in the summer, that will help to keep the cabin cool and comfortable. He also found the loft a bit small, with the slanted ceilings, but I thought is was perfect for sleeping.
It also seemed to be quite clean, but my feet were gray on the bottom after walking barefoot for a few minutes, so wear slippers! :)
Other than that, given the price, I thought it was great value.
Yvonne was just lovely - so friendly and welcoming, and interesting and fun to talk to, and full of recommendations. She totally enhanced our experience :)
I would recommend these cabins, and would be happy to stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Peace and queit cozy...Did not like that hot tub was malfunctioning and we stilm paid full price. Hostess should have placed us in unit with fulky functioning hot tub.
