The refrigerator wasn’t functioning properly and maintenance was unavailable due to illness. In all fairness, we declined his services to avoid risk of exposure, but we had to put buckets of ice in refrigerator and turn it off at night so we could sleep.

Lydia (9/5): Great location, excellent value - This is the second time we stayed at Silver Surf. The location is very good, and the value is excellent. The motel is not fancy, but comfortable and clean. Access to the beach is a plus. Great value. I got nothing bad to say. If you are looking for upscale and fancy this might not be for you, but if you want a solid, comfortable, clean place to stay in a good location, I recommend this place.

They provided a dog blanket and towel to clean off sand. Great little kitchen, a couch and small graphics fireplace that put out heat. Older property, but decked out beach style Would stay again! Too far to walk into town for us, but a very short drive. A little more fruit at breakfast and some toppings for the oatmeal would be nice, but the breakfast overall was decent. A little dusting in the bathroom was needed on the light fixtures above the sink and other areas. But overall everything was nice and clean.

We used the hot tub/ pool area, nice and clean and in good running order. Only thing we would change is we will bring a pillow. Frankly, the ONLY thing we could even say we didn't like would be the flat pillows. Easy fix, we will bring our own!

Julianna (10/5): The Silver Surf is a good value with great ocean front rooms. - Great location, right on the beach. A very roomy suite with a super comfy bed and full kitchen. I booked this place because of the indoor pool and the pool looked great but it was freezing…too cold to be in it comfortably. Luckily, there was a hot tub. So that was disappointing.
Donald (5/5): For the amount of money paid, it was not worth it. - The breakfast was decent, and more options than most. The view was nice. There were no instructions on how the TV/ cable worked. We tried to get football games, and they could not be accessed . Also the DVD player did not seem to work. It was after 8:00 so we couldn’t get the office. There was no phone in the room, and our phones were out of area. The pictures in the ads online were not like what we saw.

Tamera (6/5): Disappointing and mediocre at best. - The food was all highly processed, high in sugar and fat. Nothing was fresh. The building had two horrid shades of blue. We did enjoy the balcony but the furniture couldn’t have been more cheap and uncomfortable. An absolutely horrid, noxious, overwhelming, beyond strong odor of air freshener slapped us in the face when we opened the door. We nearly left but had no $ to go elsewhere. We were forced to leave door and BR window to tolerate it. We were there to celebrate and grieve for the loss of our 17 yo pup whom passed last week. Behind the faucet was a sign that if we didn’t wash our own dishes a $10 fee would be added to our bill. No dishwasher, and an ancient shitty stove likely new when the building was new. Ridiculously over priced for the old facilities. Whomever set the pricing should be ashamed.
Ellen (9/5): Excellent beach view/access. Not fancy, but very clean and homey. - The breakfast was adequate, on par with usual hotel continental breakfasts: heat your own breakfast sandwich, bagels and bread to toast, yogurt, coffee and tea, etc. Our room had a small kitchen area with everthything you'd need for simple cooking, a small gas fireplace, tv, dining table, sofa, small private deck, excellent view of the ocean, comfortable bed. Very clean, and with small thoughtful amenities like a retractable clothesline in the shower. The office was stocked with games and books and popcorn. Not a good place to be if there were a tsunami.

Anastasia (5/5): No hot tub, as advertised. - The view was great, as expected. Fridge was full size, which was excellent. The hot tub wasn't working. I only picked this place because it had a hot tub. Very disappointing.

Peg (9/5): We had a pleasant, relaxing three days at the Silver Surf and found - Location was awesome with beautiful ocean views. Our room was spacious and well equipped, bed was very comfortable. Pool was a fun diversion. The plumbing was tricky. Took a lot to get the shower to stop running after use. The hot tub had a maintenance issue and was unavailable….. it was being addressed however.
Tiana (10/5): Great time and would go back again! - So very clean. Loved the view of the ocean, all the kitchen utensils and the ease of unloading the car directly in front of the door. Breakfast was great. Coffee was weak and the microwave stuck a bit.
Jonathan (10/5): Excellent value for money and worth every penny for the view for the rooms, the cleanliness and the overall situation of - It’s in a wonderful location and a great part of the beach on the Oregon coast has a great pool comfortable rooms with a wonderful kitchen and terrific view. Everything is clean and comfortable and spacious. Hard to beat this. There’s nothing about the property that I don’t like, but I found the staff both times to be slightly rude, not terribly rude but just slightly and not particularly nice. I don’t know if it was the mood of the day or me, but I wasn’t happy with the staff, but I would stay there again.

Guest (8/5): Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and I plan to stay here again. - I liked the close proximity to the beach. The staff were super friendly. I also liked that there is a variety of books and dvds to borrow during your stay.

Tamara (10/5): Quick trip to relax and take the fur baby for a run on the beach - We stay here often! We love the rooms the location and the staff is always so sweet and kind! I would hands down recommend this place to stay. And they welcome your fur babies No complaints! We love this place

The room was super comfortable and had a fantastic view The wifi was a little slow later in the day. However that made me close my lap top and go for a walk on the beach. So maybe it's a good thing.

Wilson (8/5): This was a great value on a cute seaside room with a sunset view and short walk to a beach. - The view was definitely 5 stars! So close to the beach! The room we had was well decorated with a cute seaside theme, and good sized kitchenette. Maybe because of some clientele or past bad experiences, but there seemed like a lot of rules posted, emailed, signage, etc. Just seemed like overkill for those of us who usually care where we stay. The toilet seat was a bit flimsy (I’m 180 pounds and not used to sinking in), the exterior needs some work - concrete, painting, etc. But don’t let the outside fool you - the room was great.

LaraG7 (10/5): - We liked everything about our stay here. We ended up staying an extra night. Warm welcome at check in. Easy walk down to the beach. Clean and comfortable room, they thought of everything. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the surf. Nice breakfast with hot options and more choices than I expected. Pool and hot tub were lovely. We will definitely stay there again!

Pet friendly...big yard, poop bags and disposal are provided Great, easy access to wonderful, open beaches Continental breakfast choices were good...not fancy, but lots of decent options room was clean and comfortable Staff was friendly and helpful. So good, it seemed as if they owned and operated, even though the owner is out of town. The owner should give the managers a raise! The cost was affordable. and a super good value for the accommodations Not really a huge deal, and certainly not a matter of really disliking anything...So, Mattress upgrades would be a plus. Not terribly uncomfortable, and we love a mattress with good support, but these were a little bit firm for our tastes. No aches and pains, no princess and the pea situation...just could have been a a smidge less firm, or at least find a good topper with a little cush to go with the support. All the good stuff we experienced here more than compensated for this tiny bit that could use a little improvement!

Chris (10/5): The best - Everything. The location was fantastic. Don't think you can get much closer to the ocean. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was like staying at your favorite beach house, funky and super comfy. Definitely will stay there again.
Ashley (9/5): “Very nice” -borat - We liked that everything in the room was labeled clearly (instructions, guidance), that there was a code keypad for the door instead of a key card, they had everything stocked for your stay and then some.. basically just a “here’s all you need to know, you’re set up with what you need, don’t bug us unless it’s urgent” type deal. Plus, the view was great. The customer service was great when we did talk to them… just an overall good people place. N/a

Laura (10/5): BEACH RIGHT HERE; FRIENDLY, COMFORTABLE & UNIQUE - Great place to stay. They have everything here. The rooms are loaded with utensils, frig, microwave, toiletries and things you won't see other places. You can tell this place is beloved and really well taken care of. Oregon seems to support these Mom & Pop operations. It is safe, comfortable and the staff will give lots of tips on the area. I didn't get to partake of the free breakfast but heard from a fellow guest that it was great. Loved this place. Thank you Brad for the pleasantries and the comfortable, quiet accommodations. Nothing

Amanda (10/5): An absolute gem! - The location is lovely with a short path right to the beach! We added another night to our stay once we saw our room. The room was charming, well decorated, and the bed was comfortable. Being able to hear the ocean waves with our balcony sliding door open was just perfect. Being on the beach during sunset was absolutely magical. Many small beach towns are nearby, as well as some hiking trails. The pool and hot tub were so nice as well. We will absolutely stay again at this gem! The one tiny thing is that there is really no central A/C in the room. We stayed in October, so it was easy to cool down the room by opening our balcony door.

Номер на первой линии, комфортный, оборудованный всем необходимым, столовыми приборами, посудой, фужерами и стаканами. Окна номеров выходят прямо на закат. Больше всего хочется остаться здесь еще на денек…) Отель уже конечно немного устарел, но еще рад принимать гостей))
Samantha (10/5): My family's new favorite find! - This is such an excellent little motel with a great friendly staff. The property was clean and well loved. The breakfast they offer was perfect for our family to start the day! Pool was down well we stayed.
