• Jason (6/5): - I only gave it 4 stars as there are many good things about this property but with that comes many bad things. 1st the good; - Pool always perfect swimming temperature and I always had it to myself everyday I swam. - Staff were absolutely amazing and always accommodating and willing to help as much as they could. Spoke dual language at reception made check-in and check-out flawless. - Security for the property was good and always greeted each person/vehicle with respect while maintaining safety of property. Now the bad, you’ll notice a theme; - Air conditioning in room wasn’t cool enough and tried adjusting but to no avail it did not work. - Hot water in shower took nearly a week to finally happen. When it did it was extremely sufficient but still shouldn’t have taken as long even after asking for it to be tended too. - Not much lighting in the room, but that isn’t overly bad sometimes. Although had to open the curtains to the room just to get more light in the room. - Not allowing visitors into the rooms (this I understand for safety and security). Same time I have friends who live in this city and only see while I’m here on vacation. - Located on a hill, so if older it’s harder on the legs to walk up a path and not have any stairs with railings. Overall it’s a nice property and the location is close to everything. I would recommend this to people and myself I would stay here again.

El problema es el deterioro del piso de la habitación, mobiliario muy viejo , y reglas muy estrictas para ingresar al hotel con algún invitado, realmente es increíble que puedan ser muy estrictos en el ingreso de personas y no sean estrictos en los detalles de la habitación que requieren atención inmediata.

Labteleviaion muy poco que desear , su sistema de canales muy complicado y se escucha mal , Intente llevar a mis nietas para que disfrutaran un rato de la alberca y tenía que pagar otra habitación solo por hacer uso de la alberca , No está mal el hotel , pero creo que Tampico tiene otras opciones mejores a ese precio

Pero primeramente me pusieron una pulsera de plástico espantosa color naranja fluorescente como si fuera un resort, después no había casi amenidades quise una pasta de dientes de emergencia y me la vendían por 25 pesos, ( normalmente te dan unos sobrecitos) después me quise bañar y la tina estaba toda despostíllada

• JORGE JAIME (10/5): Muy buen hotel - Con la reservación muy mal porque expedía no nos da la opción de pagar en el hotel y nos obliga a pagarles directamente y no nos emite factura alguna y el hotel solo nos emite factura por lo que ellos reciben por parte de expedía Intente reservar en no menos de 6 hoteles para ver la opción de pagar en el hotel y en ninguno me dejó hacerlo Considero que están abusando al hacer esto y obligarnos a pagarles directamente cualquier reservación Con estas malas prácticas nos van a obligar a ya no reservar por medio de su página Espero lo tomen en cuenta y modifiquen esta mala practica

• Pedro (2/5): Aire Acondicionado sin funcionar - Con tristeza comparto mi terrible experiencia en un lugar al que le tenia un cariño por ser casi una tradición familiar visitar. Acudi el fin de semana y me asignaron una habitación donde no funcionaba el A/C, tambien fallaba el Wifi pero eso es lo de menos, considero el A/C como indispensable para poder dormir y descansar despues de un viaje y actividades de la visita. Al reportarlo me ofrecieron otras 2 habitaciones las cuales tampoco funcionaba el Aire, el Tecnico del Hotel lo certifico y su solución fue ponerme un abanico. Considero que por el precio de la habitación dormir con un abanico es una burla. Tristemente difícilmente volvere. Y no lo recomendaria. Se que los aparatos pueden fallar pero el trato del lugar para resolver es lo que se toma en cuenta. No les importo mucho y se limitaron a pedir disculpas.

• RICHARD (4/5): - desafortunadamente una mala experiencia por parte del hotel y cierto personal, primero al asignarme la habitación el primer día me tuvieron que cambiar de habitación por que olía mucho a humedad, la segunda habitación tenia problema con la llave de la bañera la reporte y no la arreglaron y lo mas desagradable de todo es que mis nietos e hijas fueron a visitarme y compre una amburgesas a fuera y no me dijeron nada que no podia consumir alimentos traídos de fuera solo fue una persona de la cocina parecía el chef del restaurant que hablo y me mando a seguridad después de que consumiera mis alimentos diciéndome que no podia comer alimento traidos de fuera pedi hablar con ese chef y nunca me lo trajeron me mandaron otra persona y aun así me cargaron el consumo de mesa según ellos a lo cual pedi explicaciones pero nada se resolvió y termine pagando ese cargo

• JUANITA (8/5): - I like that the room was extremely clean and the staff were always friendly and ready to help in anything I needed. The area is one of the best in Tampico and the hotel has a very nice pool. I didn’t like that there is no elevator and you have to carry your luggage through the stairs. Also; the washroom has only half a glass door and it is very small and you need to be careful not to get everything wet when you are taking a shower. They also have a shuttle to the airport which add value to the hotel, they picked me up on time and it is a big van. I found the restaurant a little bit expensive for the small buffet they have and that you need to wait for someone to serve the food to you even when it is a buffet. But again, customer service was extremely good and everyone working there were very helpful and friendly.

Same thing for towels ... This Hotel needs to invest in their bed sheets, towels, and mattresses. its a Hotel, not a motel This hotel does not have a security box inside the rooms ( at least not all rooms) if you want to secure your valuables< you need to take them to front desk ... customer service at Restaurant was good.

• Ruth (10/5): - I love this hotel in Tampico. We found it 25 years ago before the area was all built up. Even with the business of the surrounding area, the hotel remains a peaceful retreat with a beautiful garden and pool with birds and nature abounding. There is a full service restaurant with a great breakfast and it serves dinner until about 10 or 11. Even though the rooms are a little older, they are nice and the bed is very comfortable. The Posada de Tampico is convenient to the airport and to shopping and the hotel always welcomes us. Their staff is very friendly and accommodating. This hotel is always our first and last stop when we travel in Mexico.

• Jose (6/5): Good and not so Good - In general the receiving, halls and room looks good and well maintained but the issue is the water is very cold, no hot water, also the water was slow to drain out of the sink, the AC/Heater control looks like is not working, it was blowing air All the time but I changed the settings to have a more comfortable temperature but that never changed.
