- Giusi (4/5): Vochtig en muf - Hotel zou me ophalen op vliegveld. Uur gewacht daarna maar zelf een taxi genomen. Telefonisch niet te bereiken. Sleutel lag klaar op de bali, vervolgens op de kamer super grote kakkerlak heel erg vochtig muffe kamer. Toen bleek dat je het nummer alleen via watsapp kon bellen. Uiteindelijk wel een andere kamer gekregen. Maar vond heel het hotel muf en vochtig. 1 dag eerder vertrokken geen geld terug beleid.

They don’t have a proper record of guest that are coming in? Receptionist don’t know how to smile or approach guest. Although its nearby to the beach thats the reason i booked this location.I booked for early flight and our booking comes with breakfast, our driver fetch us at 6am, should it be the hotel can adjust the breakfast serving time? Rather than following the 8-10am rule? And i paid for it.

- Russell (6/5): Close to the beach. - We stayed three nights. The bed was very uncomfortable and the room was noisy. The location was excellent. Just a block to the beach. The owner was friendly and helpful. He arranged a car to the airport. There was a problem with the ac and he saiesed he would fix it the next day. True to his word that is what he did. Despite the drawbacks it was still a good experience.

Owner Javid is very helpful and booked for us the tour to Phi Phi and the Simon's Cabaret Ladyboy show (not worth it). Coffee/tea/water is provided in the lobby. Hotel is Very convenient- 2 minute walk straight to the beach. Eateries around. Bangla road(on steroids) very close, if you want the bar and racy scene. Jungceylon mall just off Bangla Rd. Lots of restaurants in the area.

His services included airport transfers, tours to Phi Phi Island and much more. Rooms were nice and livable. Didn’t pay for a 5 star hotel so I didn’t expect one but it beat my expectations.

I got to the hotel late at night and he was able to arrange for the ferry minibus to come pick me up in the morning.

- Ryan (10/5): Awesome trip! - I had a great stay at Goldsea. My room was clean when I arrived, bed was comfortable, and the hotel is in a great place. It's on a quiet side street close to the beach and the nightlife. Plus there is a great bar and a great restaurant right next to it, plus massage places and spa services on the road. Will stay there again!.
- Nick (8/5): Very good for budget price - Basic but clean comfortable room in prime location opposite the beach and very close to the nightlife, shopping, restaurants etc. For the price, I can not fault this hotel. Only small issue is there was no drinking water in the room.
- Christopher (8/5): - Let’s start by saying yes this is a budget hotel. You get what you pay for. But for £10 - I got a place to crash. The room was clean. Basic but clean. Air con worked no problems. The location is excellent. It’s down a little side street, so even though your just a 10 minute walk from the craziness of the the nightlife - it is very quiet and easy to get a good night sleep. I stayed in a room on the ground floor - and had no problems whatsoever. The reception guy was polite and friendly enough. I checked in at 9pm. I used this hotel purely as a base for a night out. If you want luxury - that’s not what you’re going to get, but it served it’s purpose for me.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Cheap hotel in a great location - For the price, you're not going to find much better near Patong Beach. This hotel was only a few minutes walking distance away from the beach and the main shopping/nightlife district. The manager was incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive. The negatives are that the bed isn't very comfortable and the sheets looked dirty (had a red stain on it). The room quality is similar to that of a hostel. If you're in the area, on a budget, and don't mind less luxurious accommodations, I would recommend this hotel. I would have given the hotel a higher rating if not for the stained bedsheet, but I normally bring my own sheets to lay on when staying in a hostel anyway.

- Charlotte (10/5): Charming family run hotel - Staying at Goldsea Beach was an amazing experience and well worth the price. The owner helped us book tours (and gave us great prices). Close to the beach and main shopping, very clean for a South-East Asian hotel (shower curtain was a tad mouldy), air-conditioned and a beautiful large balcony. Would return!
- G (6/5): Great location - Very close to Patong Beach (about 2 mins walk). Bangla Road about 5 mins away. Jungceylon Mall also within walking distance. Owner is very friendly and accepts booking services. We got the Phi Phi tour at a very good rate. We also asked him to book the taxi to the airport for us. Hotel is very basic but clean. The breakfast included consists of toast, egg, sausage and coffee/tea. There is a bar next door but we were not bothered a lot by it.

- John (10/5): - This is a great place hidden just off the beach. It is only about 100 yards to the beach. Hotel owner and staff are great. You could not ask for better service. He treats his guest like family. For the price you can not beat this place.
- Javian (10/5): Such wonderful hospitality! - The hotel itself is pretty minimal but it was overall clean, comfortable and had joyfully bright decor. It also has an excellent location, just a block away from the beach. But the best part of this hotel is the staff. They truly made us feel as if we were staying at a luxury hotel with their hospitality. Javid, the owner, even woke up early one morning to make us breakfast himself as we had an early excursion to go to that started before his staff came in to work. He also offered us free transportation to Tiger Kingdom and was always available to answer any questions and guide us on what to do. He and his wife were incredibly kind and truly went the extra mile to ensure that we were satisfied. I highly recommend staying at the Goldsea Beach!

- ryan (10/5): Brilliant hotel - Stayed at gold sea beach hotel with my young family, management was a really nice helpful friendly gentleman we was close to the beech having a young family with us was ideal for location would recommend to anyone traveling as a Couple or family.
- Michael (6/5): Nice hotel - But too noisy - The hotel was nice, down a side street off the main beach front road, lots of good restaurants on the road as well. Close to the beach and all the bars on Bangladesh road. The only issue was the reggae bar next door, if you are in one of the downstairs rooms next to it (as we were in room 15) then it can be extremely noisy, not a problem if you're out till 3am each night but if not then the music stops anywhere between 12-2.30am.
- Lucy (8/5): Great location - i stayed there with my sister. The place is just a few steps from the Patong beach and Bangla Road (where all the action is). The place is not fancy, but it's good for the price. The staff is great and helpful. I would recommend staying there if you want to stay close to the beach and are on a budget. I would also recommend booking tours with him as we found they were much cheaper than out in the streets. He has tours for all activities and budgets.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Close to the beach but you have to dodge merchants - Close to the beach but you have to dodge merchants. The hotel is at the end of a dead end side road off of the main beach road, and pretty much everyone tries to sell you something going to or leaving your hotel.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Great location, however... - Great Location, however… This hotel is great, but only if you’re staying for no more than 1-3 nights. You may not notice all these disadvantages if you are only staying for a few days, however if you’re planning to stay longer, I would recommend paying extra and staying somewhere else. Advantages: 1. Amazing location - 2 minutes to Patong Beach and 5 minutes to Bangla Road (where all the fun is!). Also many restaurants and a good choice of massage parlours. 2. Hotel owner was very friendly and helpful. He would help you out with any request and solve any problem. Disadvantages: 1. When we've booked it said that “Continental Breakfast” was included, however the breakfast was a single fried egg (cold), two slices of bread, some butter and jam. Drinks-wise there was only coffee (no milk) and you had to explicitly ask for tea. Plus the housekeeping lady was not happy to see us at all :/ 2. We stayed there for two weeks and realised that our room was cleaned only three times(!) and only when we have asked for it. Towards the end of the stay everything was covered with a thin layer of sand. The rubbish was not taken out and we had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper :/ So don’t expect anything in terms of room service!

- Eli (10/5): Close to the beach! - The hotel was clean and spacious. It was also conveniently located a block away from Patong Beach and another couple blocks from the Bangla Walkway (the Red Light District). It was close enough to the action, but just far enough from the noise. The room had A/C and good Wifi connection. There was also a private balcony for those that wanted to smoke outside the room without leaving the hotel. Overall, great location and clean rooms!
