- Marcel (9/5): Wish we could have stayed another night! - It was a perfect stay and it was a place we will go again. Clean, warm and welcoming. There was only one thing we didn’t like: We asked them to extend by one day. She said they don’t have availability. We, ok, we move on. I also told here if suddenly a room gets available, let us know. She said ok. Since we didn’t hear anything, we planned our move back to Dubai. Coincidentally I checked Booking.com again. And see as a surprise, even tough this Andrea told me they have full house, our bedroom would have been available! Shame on her because she screwed up our whole stay!

Die Sauberkeit im Dampfbad und das Wasser im Hallenbad war nicht ansprechend. Das Personal in der Lounge war überhaupt nicht kundenorientiert und wirkte unfreundlich.

- Jade (10/5): Exceptionnel - Pour faire une surprise à ma mère, j’ai décidé de l’emmener dans cet hôtel… et quelle merveilleuse décision 🤍 Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été totalement conquises par ce lieu d’exception. Tout est pensé avec goût, élégance et raffinement, c’était tout simplement magique. Le personnel est d’une gentillesse inégalable, toujours souriant, attentionné et profondément bienveillant. Dès notre arrivée, le personnel s’est montré absolument adorable : ils ont pris soin de nos bagages, nous ont installées confortablement et ont même réussi à préparer la chambre plus tôt que prévu, avec de délicates attentions, notamment de délicieuses madeleines. Un accueil exceptionnel qui nous a beaucoup touchées. La chambre était magnifique, avec une vue imprenable sur les montagnes, et même notre petite chienne a eu droit à de belles attentions. 🐾 Les installations de l’hôtel sont remarquables, notamment le spa et la salle de cinéma. Le restaurant est aussi un gros coup de cœur : des plats délicieux et des desserts en trompe-l’œil bluffants. Le soir, nous avons savouré un moment au lounge autour de cocktails, accompagnées par un musicien au piano à queue, doté d’une voix magnifique… au point que j’ai sincèrement cru qu’il s’agissait d’un CD au début. Le petit déjeuner était tout simplement exceptionnel, avec des produits de grande qualité, notamment des produits locaux. Le personnel était aux petits soins, avec une mention toute particulière pour la dame du petit déjeuner, adorable. L’emplacement de l’hôtel est idéal : situé à seulement cinq minutes à pied de la gare, il offre un cadre à la fois pratique et paisible. C’est un véritable petit cocon, sans bruit, parfait pour se dépayser, avec quelques lieux très agréables aux alentours, comme des cafés. De plus, la magnifique ville de Gstaad se trouve à seulement dix minutes en train.

Das essen war auch extrem gut und der Spa Berreich war auch sehr schön. Auch die Massagen waren sehr gut und empfelenswert. Auch die Lounge im Eingang ist sehr schön eingerichtet Leider war der Lichtschalter in unserem Badezimmer kaputt, dass wurde auch direkt mitgeteilt, leider wurde das Problem bis zu unserer Abreise nicht behoben was ich sehr schade fand da man ja auch einen gewissen Preis bezahlt

Concierge/reception wasn’t very familiar or knowledgeable about area resources, just googled everything which is the same information guests already have. Called a cab which charged double to come so far, would have liked a warning about this

Le bar et la vue étaient magnifiques. le petit-déjeuner était aussi très bien avec beaucoup de choix et de quantité. La taille de la partie spa (piscine, sauna., hamman) étaient vraiment trop petits pour un établissement de ce style. Le manque d'éclairage dans la piscine peut engendrer des blessures car on ne voit pas les escaliers. Dans un spa de ce niveau il devrait y avoir des jets à diverses hauteur à l'intérieur de la piscine par exemple. Cette partie était vraiment la plus négative de l'établissement à notre goût.

- Manuel (2/5): - We arrived earlier than check-in time, having driven over ten hours from England. Upon arrival, the hotel was in complete disarray due to a large event taking place. This had a significant negative impact on our experience, yet no prior communication or warning was sent to guests to inform us that hotel facilities would be severely disrupted. Our luggage was left unattended at the entrance, containing valuables, and I had to personally request that it be stored securely. Both the restaurant and bars were closed, leaving us with nowhere appropriate to sit with our two dogs. We were told to wait on a sofa next to reception, without even a table, and the only suggestion offered by the reception staff was that we “go into town.” This was particularly frustrating as we had planned our arrival day specifically to relax at the hotel, enjoy the bar, and recover from our long journey. For a hotel of this standard, the lack of alternative solutions, hospitality, or even basic empathy from the front desk staff was appalling. No effort was made to accommodate us or mitigate the inconvenience in any meaningful way. Later that evening, we dined at the hotel restaurant and ordered the côte de bœuf at a cost of 144 CHF. One plate was acceptable; however, the second arrived excessively oily, with only three edible pieces, the remainder being almost entirely fat. We asked the waiter to replace the dish, but it was simply taken back to the kitchen and returned with the fat cut off. By that point, we were tired and did not wish to engage in further back-and-forth, but for a dish at this price point, this is wholly unacceptable and not reflective of the standard one would expect. In addition, the television in our room was not functioning, with no channels available. When I returned to reception to request an HDMI cable so I could connect my laptop, I was told that none were available. This is the first hotel I have ever stayed in that could not provide such a basic item for guests

- Harpreet (9/5): all in all a wonderful stay and we were lucky to have great weather during our stay - The penthouse is brilliant and is equipped with a large fire place, which was a welcome surprise. Spa facilities are very good and the breakfast is wholesome and sumptuous. Staff was very supportive and attentive. the two restaurants at the property served excellent food. The two room unit is very spacious and comfortable, we feel the decor could have been slightly better to enhance the chalet feel. Parking was charged extra, though it could have easily been offered with the booking price.

The food was exceptional both at the hotel and in Rougemont itself. Lovely spa and terrace with exceptional views of the mountain. Very peaceful and relaxing. Majority of staff very friendly, helpful and attentive. The hotel is located near the railway so you can hear the train if sleeping with the door open, however I appreciate that cannot be helped. Otherwise a perfect stay at a lovely hotel! Thank you

- Studer (10/5): - das Hotel ist wunderschön. Der Spa-Bereich super schön, mehr braucht man nicht. Leider hat mich das Preisleistungverhältnis nicht überzeugt. Vorallem bein Essen. Das Service-Personal könnte aufmerksamer sein. Es sind die Kleinigkeiten die es aus machen würden.

- Ethan (4/5): - I thought that the property was very nice and well kept and good value for the money I believe that the parking was extremely overpriced at £40 for one night which is a total scam in my opinion when the property claims that they have free parking plus I got a discount on the parking so £42 for parking is ridiculous and to add breakfast onto the room was £26 which I believe is ridiculous as well and the breakfast wasn’t even that good

- Tarik (9/5): Une Excellente expérience - Personnel au petit soin, équipement impeccable, chambre spacieuse, restaurant intimiste et confortable. Les chambres pourraient être un peu mieux insonorisées. J’ai été réveillé par les ébats amoureux de mes voisins. Heureusement que ça n’a pas duré longtemps
