Bright, bubbly, humorous & just great people. Got a couple of chits for a free pint at one of the bars & 20% off my meal so welcome to The Tassie indeed! Location is brilliant, sitting on the balcony just chilling was a welcome respite. Not so much didn't like, more a heads up. The hotel is a throwback to how it was, yes the carpet is bit tired, yes the bed may be too soft (for some), yes you can hear the road traffic but man what a trip! Took me back decades to how we used to get around & how you were treated. I'll defo be back.

Such as a laptop charger. I had to unplug air-conditioning to charge then swap back. Nothing to be too upset about though.

- Brettkuh69 (10/5): Very comfortable stay at Grand Tasman Hotel - Really friendly service and helped me as much as possible. Staff were able to let me leave my motorbike inside instead of keeping it in the open carpark.

- Jane (7/5): - Comfy bed. Was worried it might be noisy as the gaming room is open until 2/3am but used earplugs and slept great. Basic accommodation but good enough for the price. On last night went to use free drink voucher in bar Tori, behind the bar was great! Bathroom was tiny and shower curtain smelled sweaty, when wet. Good news though that when I told staff they replaced it same day, even though it was Easter public holiday.

Friendly helpful staff and fair price If I had to be picky, I’d say I would rather a Screen than a curtain for the shower and some of the paint work in the room need doing. Having said that they’re minor things that wouldn’t stop me from staying again.

Está bien ubicado cerca del centro aunque lejos del puerto deportivo por lo que necesitarás transporte hasta allí. La habitación es amplía y estaba limpio. Necesitaría una renovación completa ya que está bastante viejo, los muebles de la habitación bastante reventados y la ducha del baño mas bien un aspersor sin ninguna presión. La moqueta que recubre todo el establecimiento ha visto tiempos mejores.

It said ocean front views however the view from our window was obstructed with another building and you couldn't really see much of the ocean front views. We didn't have a balcony on our room either.

You were able to hear people on the street well after midnight and the door to the stairwell was loud and squeaky.

Central to swimming, shopping. restaurants, supermarkets, chemist, etc. Exec room gave us heaps of space & access to the balcony. We had cereal every morning on the balcony overlooking the bay. What a great way to start the day! Salad & vegetable bar with meal orders. & Icecream! Complimentary bottled water in mini fridge. Discount on meals from bistro. The nachos.
