Guest Reviews
- Humberto (10/5): - Clean comfortable room.
- Martha (2/5): - I was disappointed to the staff in front desk and I was expend three nights I never got clean service.
- DeOvionne (6/5): - The room was pretty okay. It was tiny but got the job done. There were stray hairs in the bed prior to sleeping in it. The door itself was filthy. The walls and doors are not sound proof. I could hear EVERY door slam and every conversation in the hallway. Also, big con is that there is no security latch as an extra protection so I was kind of sleeping on edge because I didn’t have that extra internal security. The area is just like any other city. I didn’t feel unsafe, the street lights were on and there were always people outside. No complaints there. If you want to walk around after checking out, there is no secure place to keep your stuff. It just sits out next to the counter leaving it to anyone to take your stuff if they wanted. Last, they do not answer the phone so don’t bother trying. Overall, I’d give it a 3/5 with all things considered.
- Ramiro (8/5): - It’s a decent hotel for a short stay
- Ayla M (2/5): - I was there for 4 days 3 nights and not once did anyone come to clean my room. I had to take my own trash out. Asked for clean towels. It was terrible
- Donna (2/5): - This was the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The bed was dirty. The mattress pad had blood stains on it. I went downstairs and told the guy after we had came back in for the night he was so passive aggressive. He acted like he didn’t care. I explained to him that it was a health hazard and refused to stay in that room and on that bed. He then lied and said there were no rooms available and after going back and forth for 10 minutes he finally decided to switch my room. His customer service is horrible! I highly do not recommend. It’s run down and needs to be shut down.
- Erika (4/5): - We stayed two nights and the room wasn't cleaned. The walls were covered in little drawings—not art, but like when you leave your child with a crayon and they start painting the walls. The hotel feels abandoned.
- Nana (6/5): - The surrounding areas don’t seem safe but I don’t think Romana hotel can change that.
- Shawn (4/5): - Came all the way from the Caribbean and your Hotel do not have a "IRON "THAT SO VERY POOR. The lobby area are poor 😫 not even a watercooler. Your service out of ( 1-10) =5 is for the room Excellent. Try and put intercom in all room so the guests can call the front desk for assistance.
- Brayden (6/5): - The hotel itself was okay for a couple night stay. The hotel was in a very unsafe area that made it uncomfortable to walk around
- Egor (6/5): - The hotel is fine. Need to clear the room before a new guest. The price is low, so it is worth it for 1-2 days.
- Ivana (2/5): Don’t book here - I wish I could give them 0 stars, everything was dirty and gross. Pubic hairs in the bathroom stains on the mirror, everything reeked of smoke and cigarettes. They don’t even have an ice machine. And when I asked about the patio to get some fresh air was told it was closed. This place just sucks
- Kathryn (4/5): - I am a frequent traveler and am VERY forgiving when it comes to hotels, but I was very disappointed in this hotel.
When we arrived, we weren't sure that we had the right location because there is NO SIGN on the outside with the hotel name. We got to our assigned room but it was not cleaned. We went back down to reception and got a different room, but it was a queen bed instead of the king we had paid for. There was also a loud clanging coming from the bathroom every so often, likely due to the elevator being right next to our room. They said they would address this but never did.
There were also many features the hotel advertised but does not provide:
-No complimentary breakfast
-No fridge or coffee maker in the room
-No alarm clock
-If there was a gym, we weren't made aware
They do have a smart TV, towels, and small shower toiletries. The one real saving grace was that the a/c worked well. They additionally let us leave our luggage in the lobby after check-out, but without any tags or accountability system, which made us nervous.
Upon checkout, the staff said the hotel manager would call us about a room credit for the bed size issue, but they never did. I attempted to call the hotel three times after our trip but they never answered and there is no voicemail system.
Unfortunately I have no choice left but to leave them a lousy review. Such a bummer because I could have forgiven the shortcomings if not for the total lack of communication from the staff.
- Sababa (2/5): - poor
- Geoffrey Douglas (6/5): - Room was clean
- Samantha Tracy-Ann (10/5): - The room was clean the customer service was great and the place was very quiet
- Brandon (10/5): - G
- Roberto (2/5): - Would not recommend.
- Akdana (2/5): - This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in the United States. The room looked nothing like the pictures – it was old, outdated, and honestly quite scary place. The furniture and beds were worn out and damaged, with no sense of comfort or coziness at all.
The service was terrible. At one point, my room key stopped working, and it took them almost two hours to make me a new one!!!
The noise situation was unbearable – the walls and doors had absolutely no soundproofing. I could hear every little noise and movement from the hallway and surrounding rooms, which made it impossible to relax or sleep.
On top of that, the hotel charged a $100 deposit at check-in. When I checked out, they refused to return it right away, saying they needed to “inspect the room first” and would refund it later. But after I left, they completely ignored me – no replies to calls or messages, and they never returned my $100. On top of this scam, they charged an additional $15 fee for no clear reason, with no explanation at all.
Overall, this place is a complete nightmare. Outdated, uncomfortable, noisy, dishonest, and with terrible service. They basically stole my deposit and added extra charges on top of it. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. It is hands down the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in America.
- Elizabeth Michelle Baeza (10/5): - The price-quality ratio is perfect, the location was the best part, pretty near from the station… 15min from Manhattan. Highly recommend!
- Ildiko (4/5): - Dirty Line and towers
- Corinna (2/5): - Stood over the weekend with my friend and never will again. Room was dirty as soon as we walked in to our hotel room there was a pee stain on the toilet. Hairs all over the shower curtain and I developed a stye I’m sure due to the pillow I was using . My friend woke up the next day with multiple flea bites or bug bites.. highly wouldn’t recommend!
- Allen (2/5): - The hotel is a little outdated, there was a stale smell throughout the building, the AC in the room barely worked, and the room was not the cleanest. At one point during our stay, the room key stopped working, so we had to get a new key card. Our room also had no curtains and the rooms are super well sound proofed, so with the combination of the sun coming in the room and the noise within the hotel led to little sleep.
The area around the hotel is fine. Not really the cleanest part of Queens.
- Christina (4/5): - The first room I was given had no power to the entrance light and no power to the AC. The second room was filthy. The floor had a layer of grime on it that I had to clean off myself because my bare feet were sliding through it. The amount of dirt I got off the floor was disgusting. There was black mold in the shower. The bed was a nice size. The AC in the second room worked very well but the second night my key card no longer worked. The Front Desk guy was very helpful, however
- Lizeth (2/5): - Staff, needs good customer service
- Dimitar (6/5): - for the money you pay it is reasanable. it is just a few stops with the metro from the manhattan which is the best. for the neihbeirhood you have to be prepared.
- Jamey (2/5): - No toilet paper in the bathroom when I asked for an iron I was told I couldn’t get one I asked for the manager and was told that was private information and couldn’t be given to me. The area around the hotel wasn’t the cleanest and the staff was rude and disrespectful to the point where I felt like it was racially motivated
- Edmund (8/5): - It's a fairly simple property that seems like a de-branded property. I took a chance because it was value priced and I feel great about my choice. It was clean and much of the space was redone new tile / bathroom and vinyl floor. Simple amenities. Neighborhood was interesting but not dangerous. Lots of food options around and 24hour bodega. Reservation system slowed down the front desk a little bit but they're trying. I would stay there again for the price. 5 minute walk to the subway.
- Sandra (4/5): - The room was clean when we arrived, but we had half a roll of toilet paper and when we asked for refill repeatedly we did not receive any. We had to buy our own. No housekeeping the towels started to smell like mildew. No complimentary breakfast as advertised. No light outside the entrance made it hard to find and
- Renald (4/5): - Not a good experience
- Brett (4/5): - Stayed for 7 days yet room was not cleaned once. Room had no glasses. Property very beat up with strange smell in my room I swear was urine. Location is very convenient to get to manhattan. Owners should put a little effort to make the property pleasant.
- Dan (2/5): Worst hotel in NYC - Do NOT stay here, complete disaster. How Hotels.com allows them online is beyond me.
The room lacked the following:
There was no shower curtain and front desk just shrugged.
There was no tv remote or a way to turn on the tv.
There was no closet.
There were two beds that were extremely uncomfortable and lumpy.
The sink worked. Although no closet there were a few hooks screwed into the wall.
There were several Jesus stickers on the doors and wall.
- Sean (4/5): - I was checked into an occupied room at first, then had no TP in my room upon check in. The hotel was clean, but there is no iron to iron your clothes in the hotel at all. There is no cable only antenna TV (couldn’t watch Monday Night Football) and the area was not very good. Air conditioning was not working in my room the first night but thankfully was cool and I could crack the window.
- MIRA (4/5): - Hotel is no service available yet
- DILLIAN (2/5): - Will never go there again.
- Ivan (2/5): - Well I came to check in before 3, just to get my room faster when the room was ready, I got 15usd charge, then came back at 3:30, the guy in the front desk told me I had no payment, I had to pay twice, that last guy was impolite and unnecessary rude.
- Saul (2/5): - Cleaning lady is good
The rest is terrible
Arrived and room was not even cleaned yet, had to wait (not an early check in)
Neighborhood is bad, feels unsafe, lots of drug users in the streets
- Abhijeet (4/5): - Room AC barely functioned. No clue why the design of the room would have it where the AC unit is in the windowsill but with the curtains installed in front. Room was incredibly stuffy, we ended up leaving a night early unfortunately.
- Michael (2/5): Don’t do it. Trust me. - Don’t do it. The positive reviews have to be fake. Doesn’t show up on navigation as it should. Charged $30 upon arrival for no reason. Key didn’t work first time. No towels - literally air dried - funny, but dumb. 2 small square pillows. Very comfy bed. Just spend the extra and get a real room, this place is not for real.
We went down in the morning to request towels and dude literally just added us to a very long list of names and room numbers. We just air dried and got out of there. Literally no towels of any size.
- William (2/5): - The hotel does not deserve the 7.2 rating it has on Expedia. From the moment I arrived, I felt unsafe, as if people were checking on me. The room had several broken items and was poorly maintained. I had booked for more than two nights, but I couldn’t bear to stay longer and decided to check out early, even without a refund. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and I would not recommend this hotel.
- Isabella (2/5): - don't stay here. horrible stay
- Collin (6/5): Just Ok - Good location, was clean, but a little beat up and small. The owners were nice and good to work with. Biggest complaint was that the room had zero towels - they said they were out and would bring some in the morning, but never saw any.
- Dan (2/5): - I informed the CSR that the AC did not work, and he did not offer me another room to stay. I requested to speak to the manager, and he refused. He was so rude. He also charged an additional 15 dollars, but didn't explain when I asked. I ended up staying overnight without the AC. I am not satisfied with his service.
- Andre (10/5): - Really good!
- Xu (2/5): - On September 12, 2025, I had a confirmed booking with this hotel. When I arrived in New York at 11:59 PM i have my flight ticket as proof, the hotel refused to check me in, saying they could not find my information.
A few days later, the system falsely updated my booking to show that I had “checked in and checked out,” but in reality, I never stayed at the property. I was still charged the full amount of $413.89.
- Jordan Breanne (2/5): - They would not answer any phone calls or messages leading up to my stay. They "gave away" my room the first night. No one cleaned our room. They rushed us to checkout 45 minutes early. Worst hotel experience i have ever had.
- sirine (2/5): - Simply a trash ! Stayed there 4nights couldnt sleep . Drunk people saying f words speaking out loud . Be safe don’t stay there !!!
- Alix (4/5): - they did not clean the room as requested! the place was going under renovations! The neighborhood sucked!!!
- Jamie (8/5): I love Queens - Comfortable bed. Nice hot shower. Just blocks from the F train and 2 good bodegas nearby.
- Laura (4/5): - The walk from the subway to the hotel felt very unsafe. The room was unfinished with what looked like construction dust and debris on the floor. The walls weren't fully painted and the closet wasn't fully built. One of the lamps wasn't working so it was very dark. There was no hair dryer or luggage holder, so my only option was to put my suitcase on the dresser. There was no desk in the room to work at. There was only one staff member at check in, so the line took more than 20 minutes to process and wait for my turn to check in. At check out, I requested a receipt and was told it would be emailed to me, but it never arrived (which means that now I have to call and follow up - I need it for corporate expenses). My biggest concern was the safety of the area. Very poor experience.
- Melissa (4/5): - The walk from the subway to the hotel felt very unsafe and the hotel itself doesn't even have a sign. The room looked like it was under construction. There was paint on the floor and the closet wasn't finished. There was no hair dryer, luggage rack, or wardrobe. The bed was on 2 sheets of plywood. The toilet in my room was making a hissing sound the entire stay. The check in process took at least 20 minutes, and during that time, another hotel guest was yelling for the manager. I ended up taking ubers because of the safety concerns. Poor experience.
- Talgat (2/5): - At the very beginning, the check-in process took a very long time. Then, when we received the keys and entered the room, it was terribly dirty — they hadn’t even cleaned after the previous guests. We asked for another room, but in both the room and the hotel there was no hot drinking water, and the water dispensers were not working. On the second day, the door lock broke. The door couldn’t be opened from the inside. Before leaving, we asked them to fix the lock, but when we returned in the evening, it was still broken. There was no one at the reception, and we had to search for staff and call them. The locker was also broken. We were forced to leave the door open overnight. Only a day before check-out did they finally fix the lock. This was the worst hotel ever. I absolutely do not recommend it — the staff couldn’t care less about the guests’ well-being.
- Paul (2/5): - It could have been better
- Yingjie (2/5): - Honestly, it is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed. There is no wardrobe, no clothes hangers, no hair dryer and no iron! No any drinks and food! You need to go out to buy everything you need. The AC is not working well so that the room is very hot and noisy! There is no service at all! The staff said they will let the technician check the AC and may consider change a room for us tomorrow. They just gave us some excuse and would not like to handle my issue. They did not come to fix the AC the next day. And they said there is a fitness center in the hotel and dinning room. It is a total lier! No! There is nothing you can find.I was very disappointed at this hotel.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Poor management of a hotel in a rough area - This place is poorly managed. The room didn't even have a shower curtain. How does that get overlooked?
- Valerie (2/5): Nope! - This "hotel" is to be redone completely. Let's start with the check-in. The young man at the reception (not particularly friendly or welcoming) asked me to show him my receipt with Hotel.com. Should they not have that already?? First time ever that I book with a third-party site and the hotel wants to see proof of payment. Then the room: clean, yes, but with splatters of paint all over the floor, the fridge did not work, the toilet might have been cleaned or not, hard to say, no spigot on the faucet, splashing water all over. Best of the best: the mattress lays on a plank of plywood, and the pillows (one per person) are super small. The TV: you have either to pay for everything or log in if you have already Netflix or Amazon. Then, there was not one garbage bin in the room.
On the following day, a family member checked in in another room. Her bed consisted of 3 mattresses piled on on top of each other, but the room was clean, and it would have been OK for one night, but then we saw that the bathroom floor was covered in water, caused by a leak from the toilet. We called the reception, and were curtly advised that there is no other room available. We went down to the reception and miraculously were given a key for another room. This room was similar to ours (plywood bedframe etc.), but on top of it, there was no curtain for the bathtub. We gave up and our family member decided to stay there.
In a nutshell: good for young backpack travelers, bad for families and older people!
- FNU (4/5): - Room was third class wash taps and shower was not perfectly work no facility not even water or coffe noisy because they are trying to fix things but it was smelling and worst hotel experience I had in my life
- Candice (2/5): - This was the worst hotel me and my boyfriend ever stayed at. The area was disgusting there was a big white truck that never moved from the front. The lobby looked like a construction site. The hotel staff charged my card twice. I was so scared to walk to the train I had to take a uber two blocks because there were people selling unsanitary food outside from a bucket every person who lived in the projects stayed outside on the street for 24 hours you can not even walk to the store without getting harassed. This hotel is false advertised the room had drawings on the walls the 8th floor view was not pretty staff was unfriendly. My experience was terrible I was so scared.
- Ping Yee (4/5): - Not very clean at all
- peter (4/5): - area around it was bellow average. poor neighboorhood but average safe. people in neighboorhood are nice. the holel promise coffee maker ( none) for hot water. do not have that. the hotel is near subway ( really good). there is one microwave in the lobby upstairs. no cups. we had to tell them to do the beds. othewise will not come. beds were clean. the room smell when we arrive. windows cannot open. only airconditioning available for air in. airconditioning worked well. when we arrive, the computer did not work. oh my god. wait, wait. staff used her cellular phone to complete booking. not all staff were knowledgeable. we got double charge for $75 usd. or 103 can. pay at property service fee. they would not let us check in unless the property service fee is payed. .. we will ask expedia for refund. the staff were friendly but not all are train properly. but the system of the hotel is poor. blame the system. wont recomend that to anyone. wont go there again. there are better motels or hotels near by. google the area, less cheaper and more clean.
- Malani (2/5): - This hotel was poor quality, elevators not working had to walk 8 flights of stairs. One of the hallways held multiple mattresses which I had to climb over to get down to the next flight. The gate for the parking lot barely worked but yet we had to pay $50 for one night with our car not safely secured in the back. Only one door worked to get in and out of the hotel. No one was in the front having us wait a long period of time..
- Lukas (2/5): - terrible service
- Guadalupe (6/5): - The room was more affordable than most nearby options, and the location is excellent—just a 3-minute walk from the subway, which was very convenient. However, the experience had several downsides. Most of the staff were not very friendly or helpful, and there is no secure space to leave luggage before check-in or after check-out. The place offers no real facilities—just a noisy microwave. On top of that, their charges were unclear: beyond the service fee, I was billed an extra amount with no explanation provided.
- ANGELO PIERGIORGIO (2/5): - The hotel didn’t even have a name tag on. The bed had a massive piece of iron sticking out that I needed to careful to avoid. No wardrobe. No room cleaning. 30 minutes needed for the check in.
- Chime (8/5): - Okay
- Bruno (10/5): - Small room but very clean and comfortable
- Xiangxiang (2/5): - We originally booked a twin room, but upon arrival we were given a double bed instead. There were no room key cards provided, so every time we had to ask the front desk to open the door for us, which was very inconvenient. The Wi-Fi did not work at all during our stay. We also asked the front desk for clean towels and shampoo, but nothing was replaced. Overall, this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The experience was extremely disappointing.
- Joseph (4/5): - The European female employee was incredibly rude when she was outside the building, but inside had a different persona. She wasn’t dressed like a hotel worker and was talking on her cell phone. I thought she was staying as a guest at the hotel. I asked her outside if the hotel was open because there was about 6 orange cones blocking the glass revolving door. She repeated what I said back to me and said what do you mean, is the hotel actually open? I said it’s blocked off. From the entrance there was no sign for the hotel, it looked abandoned. Nobody visible in the lobby. She aggressively pointed to the side door and said go through there. At check in she sent me to a room that when upon entering was occupied with the bed unmade and a persons belongings everywhere. I went back down and she gave me a new room and then when I got to my new room the key card didn’t work. What a stupid weird hotel.
- Timothy Nolan (6/5): - They didn’t give us a key card on our first night but the 2nd night they gave us a key
- Morgan (2/5): - No latches or deadbolts on room doors, didn’t get a key until the second day and had to be let in by staff to our room, which was complicated by the fact that many times they only had one staff member in the lobby at any given time. Never saw the same staff member more than once. Hotel had clearly seen better days, it looks abandoned from the outside. Finally, although I booked a non-smoking room. they just gave us whatever room had been cleaned, which had a distinct cigarette smoke smell to it—no preparation for any guests prior to arrival, and they took 20 minutes to even find my reservation. The location is convenient but if youre looking for something on a budget you’re better off staying in Jersey.
- isaac (6/5): - Unfriendly staff from the start, the guy at the front desk need to take a shower regularly, he got in the elevator with me because my room key didn't work ( twice ) at first I got an occupied room and walked into an older couple in bed (resting), the elevator was malfunctioning and when I told the receptionist that was unacceptable he simply said " you can cancel if you want " that's the " I'm sorry about the inconvenience" that's usually meaningless but at least it part of the protocol. The Hotel from the outside it looks like an abandoned property, no sign and the name " Romana HOTEL" is nowhere on the building, their room keys say something different. The room was ok and at least the bathroom was clean, at least the cleaning staff are doing a great job. Unfortunately I don't think I would go back to that place ever again.
- Diane (4/5): - The guy at the front door gave me a key to a room that have people in it already,it was such an unpleasant experience #so horrible
- Emmanuel (2/5): - Outdated! Furniture feels like they grab them from a thrift shop, extremely noisy! Good luck trying to get a good night sleep
- Joel (8/5): - It was a good place to spend the night with my partner. It was comfortable, clean and friendly staff. The only bad thing was that we got a room without curtains! We had no privacy, and in the morning the sun hit our faces. We couldn't sleep anymore. I feel like this is something that can be resolved immediately, so I didn't exaggerate in my rating and gave it a 4.
- Edenis (2/5): - This hotel it is so bad, I do not recommend it, it’s dirty, no paper toilet, internet not working, tv not working, people smoking weed in the hotel, and they don’t have enough keys for the rooms
- claudiu (10/5): - Good offer for the price
- Samir (2/5): - Customer Service was horrible. Frint desk agent didn't even say hi, hello. When i called if parking lot was for free they told me yes but when i got thete they charge me $27 tax.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not bad, not great. - Not bad, not great. Internet was very slow. I chose this hotel over others because there was supposed to be parking, but in the end there was no parking, and either way the garage was quite a distance from the hotel, and not free. I'm generally not a very picky person, but I would definitely choose something else if I'm in the same area in the future.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I stayed 6 nights ... and the bathtub washed twice. The cleaners have no responsibility
- Richard (2/5): I WANT A REFUND!!! - BEG BUGS!!
They have bed bugs and ct like it is just ok I literally told them and they didn't even try to help me, next time I caught one and put it on their desk and all they said was thank you for letting us know!!
I want a refund!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Everything was good. I have no complaints and the staff was nice.
- Mfayed73 (2/5): - They charge you 100 dollars deposit. That takes 7-10 business day to refund. It’s a smoke free floor (third floo), but ppl smoke cigarettes and weed in their rooms. The smell in the hallway the is beyond disgusting. Filled a complaint with the front desk. Nothing was done. NEVER AGAIN.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Audi - This stay was ok location was bad and this 100 deposit was crazy.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - There was no heat in 16 degree weather !!!!! Front desk just offered an extra blanket !
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location in Long Island City. Very clean and upgraded hotel with breakfast served.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great hotel. Very clean, cozy and accommodating. Good breakfast. Stayed in a double bed room, and although it is a little on the small size, still was very comfortable. The view of NY from the bedroom window is lovely. Location is great with walking distance to the Subway Station which puts you anywhere you want to go in NYC. Houskeeping did a great job. Fresh towels and toiletries everyday. Beds are comfortable and clean. Staff is very nice and helpful. Would recommend anyone to stay here and will definitely come back if I had to.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Very tiny space and complimentary breakfast is terrible.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Everything good, subway station very near to the hotel.
- Fatuma (4/5): - Everything was fine about the hotel itself. Room & bathroom very clean but the bed was EXTREMELY uncomfortable!! I’ve never slept in a bed as hard as the one I had when I was at this hotel. Couldn’t even sleep through the night. I had to ask for extra comforters for the bed just feel a little better & that barely helped. I don’t recommend at all.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Unfriendly front desk personnel. - Front desk personnel are unfriendly, they dont even smile. Doesn't know how to say “please” and “thank you”.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The best part of this property is truly the walking distance into Manhattan. The price is reasonable and breakfast is free. There is off street parking (good luck and watch for signs). All together its not bad if you are truly in NY to see and enjoy what this city offers!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The price was great, and the reviews said it was clean, which is why we selected this hotel. However, we were told over the phone the day before that if we showed up around 1:30-2:00 we should be able to get into our room. When we arrived at 2:20, we were told by the front desk that they have a "strict" 3:00 check-in policy. We went and waited upstairs with a lot of other people. When we went to the desk to check in at 3:00, our room was not ready and the staff acted as if it wasn't a big deal. We waited an additional 30 minutes. We're just glad we didn't get there at 1:30! The room was fine, clean. Very small for 4 people.
- Rafael (10/5): - Very good
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Expensive, difficult to get into-parking which costs $27 per day. They also charge your card an extra $100 in case you "damage" anything, then credit it back to you like a week later.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Staff refused to work with me to fix a booking issue. Won't go there again. Will never use Expedia again either. Will definitely tell all my friends and family about this to make sure it doesn't happen to them.
- orlando (8/5): - Great location close to everything I needed. Good stay for the price
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This is the second time I booked Howard Johnson first time was Virginia Beach and it was good so I bought this time in Long Island today but but the room light was too dark there was no microwave Or no refrigerator no tissue box promise I will I will never Come back to Howard Johnson anymore.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Fair at best - Check in took a very long time and we were the only ones there. The “breakfast” was fair at best. There was no garbage can for guests to use only a large garbage bag on the floor. Definitely needed more attention to cleaning the food area as many people were using it. Shower was Luke warm and when I mentioned it at checkout it appeared that they knew and did not care. No apology for the inconvenience. The room was small but expected and clean
- Denise (10/5): Excellent Hotel - The location of the hotel was in very close proximity to the subway station!! From the time we walked in to the time we left we loved our stay!! The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was delicious!! I would 100% stay here again.
