• 684raffyb (10/5): Good value for corporate bookings - Merilyn from the sales department and Samantha from the reception took care of our artists. They have ensured that the requests and needs are well coordinated. We booked multiple rooms and they tried to give rooms as close as possible with the early check in requirement. We were also extended with a reasonable corporate rate. Definitely recommended we will continue to use this hotel for our business needs.

Actually it's not my first time stay on this hotel, but the hotel has just been renovated and i think it's much better now. The staff was incredibly friendly, especially Ms.Nurul from the front desk who helped me with an early check-in. My room was spacious, spotless, and had a remarkably comfortable bed. The hotel is near with star vista where you can easily look for food and also near MRT station. It was great.

• 391jadeny (10/5): Great Service Hotel People - I had great time staying at this Hotel where I was checked in by this great service Staff Cyril, where he was able to accommodate me to Comfty Room even though it was fully booked on that day, I do also understand most rooms are subject to availability, and at the same time it was a good room where I can rest and enjoy myself at. I really appreciate what he did for me there and a great big thumbs up for him. I also did enjoy the Breakfast at Cali Restaurant and the food was good too!

• Cruiser50480477766 (10/5): Great service by Ram - Park Avenue Rochester Hotel - I would like to commend Ram (Sundharam) at Park Avenue Rochester Hotel for his outstanding service and professionalism. During my stay, my room was quite dimly lit, which made it difficult for me to work. I had requested for a table lamp multiple times over two days, but unfortunately, it was not delivered. As a result, I had to work from the lobby using the duty manager’s desk which is the only suitable workspace available. When Ram came on duty and noticed the situation, he took the initiative to ask about the issue. Upon understanding the problem, he acted promptly and the table lamp was sent to my room almost immediately. His responsiveness and ownership made a significant difference to my stay. Over the two days I spent working in the lobby, I also had the opportunity to observe Ram closely. He consistently displayed a warm and courteous demeanor, greeting guests with a genuine smile, being especially kind and engaging with children, and maintaining a pleasant disposition throughout. It is rare to come across staff who naturally embody such attentiveness and positivity. Ram is truly an asset to the hotel, and his level of service deserves recognition.

• jjjjjw2026 (10/5): LOVE IT!!! - We booked a 1-Bedroom Suite via Agoda, and it was an absolute steal.  We loved that the suite came fully equipped with a washing machine + dryer, induction cooker, plenty of cooking utensils, and a water filter system. It was so convenient to refill our bottles and cups as and when we wanted, and there's no plastic wastage either. The room also came with an ironing board to iron your clothes, and a pretty good hairdryer. I love washing my clothes so they smell nice, though I wished that the washing machine and induction cooker came with instructions because we were kind of confused while figuring them out. They even provided a kitchen sponge upon request (to wash our utensils after cooking), and anticipated our needs by providing us another box of tissue. Any issues, like reconfiguring our WiFi, were handled easily by the front desk. I would also like to give a shoutout to the team for putting two rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom. We finished one roll of toilet paper because it was 4 girls in one room for the entire evening.   The location is so convenient, literally a 2-minute walk to Star Vista. We got groceries like steak, bacon, pork collar, ravioli, and garlic butter there, and had a yummy dinner for four for only $70! We really enjoyed the facilities (the pool and gym are great) and the room itself. The bathroom and shower were awesome, and the bed was so huge and comfortable. We love that the suite had a never-ending amount of power points, we could charge our devices anywhere. This was my first staycation with my partner and our friends, and I’m so happy it was such a great experience. Thank you to the team, especially Alvin, Faiz, and Zee, for the amazing service. When I needed bags for our leftover snacks, housekeeping delivered laundry bags to our room within 10 minutes. We’ll definitely be back.

Besides, there are many services that you may use like the gym room. They also partner with a restaurant so that you can just go down and enjoy a meal if you wish. Their staff is helpful and attentive to your needs. Overall, I am very satisfied with their service and would likely to use it again.

• NZJenn1 (6/5): A reasonable stay - We stayed at this hotel for a week and chose this hotel due to its location and reasonable price. I read some of the reviews before we arrived, and to be honest, I would have cancelled our stay had we not prepaid (with no refund available). I felt quite anxious and worried about staying here, but I have to say, that worry was mostly unwarranted. Service - was ok, there was one Indian gentleman (maybe the concierge?) who was happy, friendly & greeted us each time he saw us, I can’t say I experienced that with anyone other staff. Room - a newly refurbished 1 bedroom apartment on a high level, great view. Bed was comfortable, plenty of room. Safety - we didn’t feel unsafe at any time, plenty of families, business people and singles staying. Soundproofing - there was a precious review about no soundproofing between rooms, I’d have to say this is true - on our last evening we could hear a woman shrieking in the bedroom adjacent to us, the fact we hadn’t heard anything earlier was pure luck. There are a few maintenance issues that need to be fixed in the room we stayed in - the tv randomly stopped working one night, and when it did come back on, several channels were unavailable. We could have asked maintenance to come back, but we didn’t really want the interruption again. No hot water in the kitchen and a room safe that didn’t work - all advised upon check out. Dining - one restaurant on site, we didn’t have breakfast, but did make the mistake of having dinner - service was terrible, food average & the manager, who we spoke to about these issues couldn’t have cared less. Was this a reasonable hotel? Yes. Were there safety issues: Not at all Is soundproofing between rooms an issue? Yes Would I stay again? No. Service wasn’t fantastic, and soundproofing of rooms is a deal breaker for me, but it was a well located hotel close to an MRT, mall across the road, and a safe and well presented property.

Very cozy and loved the calming colour palette. The bed was easily one of the best parts of the stay. So so comfortable! Staff were friendly and helpful. Special mention to Ram, who was very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Greeted us warmly and offered to help us with our luggage which we appreciated. Also wished us a happy eid. Would happily stay here again!

The rooms are very clean, the beds are quite comfy and there are ample amenities; staff like Ram and Sam, whom we've seen regularly in our stays here, are also incredibly helpful and friendly all throughout.

• Curious65771971746 (10/5): One of the best stress-free hotel experience!! - I was in Singapore for a quick business visit and brought with me our 15 year old son. The checkin only took a few minutes and upon entering the room, we were IMPRESSED at the newly renovated suite. The finishes were impeccable and equipped with all the facilities needed ie. washing machine, kitchenette, separate living and dining area, with spacious room for him to continue with his studies while away from home. And not to mention the astounding views! All the staff involved throughout our entire stay - from the front desk to the housekeeping - were extremely warm and accommodating. We look forward coming back "home" each day after a long day out. In addition, the location was fantastic as we were only 3 minutes walk away from the Star Vista filled with halal eateries and shops like Watsons and Guardian pharmacy. We stumbled upon an amazing shop called The Cat Experience located at #01-20. And since it was my birthday I treated my son and I to a 20 minute "cat therapy" since we are both crazy about cats!!! We paid about $16 in total for the two of usand we must say that it was absolutely worth every penny :) Went back again for a second time before our departure but it was napping time between 3-4:30pm. So... I guess we'll have to come back very soon to Singapore as despite our busy schedule, we had an absolutely amazing and relaxing time at the hotel! (and with the cats of course!)

• P1167PG_ (4/5): Noise from next door disturbed to sleep in quiet. - The soundproofing is not good. I couldn't sleep well because of the loud noise of TV sound from the next room. At midnight 2:30 finallly I claimed hotel front, but it didn't solve, after second claim, it seemed to be solved, but again at 5:00 a.m, I waked up again by the noise of TV from the next door.
• laurajosi (2/5): Unsafe hotel - My stay at Park Avenue Rochester was disappointing and uncomfortable. While the hotel itself is clean enough and located near the MRT and Star Vista mall, the atmosphere did not feel appropriate for families or solo female travellers. During my stay I noticed several situations and guest behaviour that made the environment feel questionable and not particularly safe or welcoming. The corridors at night gave more of a transient, adult-oriented vibe rather than that of a typical family-friendly hotel. The other guests seemed to be practicing sex work. The police visited the room next to mine due to disturbances. Given these experiences, I would personally not recommend this hotel for families or women travelling alone who are looking for a calm and secure environment. There are many other hotels in Singapore that provide a much more comfortable and reassuring atmosphere for those types of travellers.

A special thanks to the staff members Faiz and Priya, who were extremely friendly and helpful. They kindly assisted us with an early check-in almost 3 hours before the scheduled time, which made our arrival much more comfortable after the journey. Their warm attitude and willingness to help truly made our stay better. Really appreciate the hospitality and support from the team. Would definitely recommend this hotel for the great service and welcoming staff.

• 900sr234 (6/5): Pros and cons - great location is a pro! - This is a lovely hotel for the most part, with excellent staff and mostly quick service. There is a big problem due to the lack of electric plugs near any mirror, which makes hair drying and shaving very challenging. There is also a very strange policy in teh restuarant which does not allow one to get a glass of tap water at either lunch or dinner, instead requiring that one order and pay for a large bottle of water. We have had a very personable experience with Faiz from the moment we showed up to drop off our bags before check-in. He has been there every morning during our stay and given us a very memorable time at park avenue hotel.

I would also like to appreciate Faizal, Nurul, Monisha, and Ram, as well as Aliff from the housekeeping department, for their excellent service and warm hospitality. The suite was beautifully renovated, clean, and very comfortable. It was truly a great stay, and I couldn’t have asked for better. • 289sylviak (10/5): Great Customer Service and Good Location - This hotel is a go-to place when I have to arrange for hotel stay for my overseas guests and directors. The hotel is located near 2 MRT lines, namely the East-West line and the circle line and travelling to places like Orchard is a stone throw away. This hotel has a great team of dedicated staff - a big thank you to Ms Serena, Merilyn, Ashley and the Front Desk team who are always there to render great help when I needed them. Today, my boss forgot his luggage and Faiz was very kind to assist and help brought down the luggage (after clearing some security verification with me). I highly recommend this hotel.
• Euphoriatux (10/5): Stay at Park Avenue Rochester. - My family and I had an amazing time staying at Park Avenue Rochester. The location is excellent with train and eateries within walking distance. Despite the renovation, the room has been quiet and comfortable. Not to mention, the staff at PAR have been excellent especially Melvin. Melvin is always smiley and make it at ease to approach. He also assisted me in my booking for my next stay. My son love seeing him at the reception. Would definitely stay here again.

What stands out is the impeccable service provided by the lovely staff at the front desk. They are were eager to answer all our questions and address our concerns.
