- Nick (10/5): - This was our first trip to Ghana. We had the most wonderful time. An important part of this was our stay at the Eastgate hotel. Frieda and her team could not have been more welcoming. They made us feel at home straight away and were very polite. We took the bed and breakfast option. The cooked breakfast a good start to the day and had fresh vegetables and fruits. A strong recommendation.

- kweku (10/5): - Eastgate hotel is great place to stay whiles on vacation, services was alright, worker's were very respectful, treats you with care and the food was great, but the only thing is the shower was working properly so we use a bucket to take our bath apart from that everything was great, good service.

- Adoma (6/5): - This place was okay. Not too bad. Staff was very friendly. A/C was leaking in room and minimal amenities provided (i.e. towels, soap). Breakfast was inclusive and delicious. Pool is a plus.
- Leslie (4/5): - The staff were not friendly at all. The hotel is dated, spelled horrible. The room I was given was not good at all. Someone could easily watch you shower in the bathroom from the kitchen area. Shower head did not work, I could barely take a shower. I would not recommend staying here at all.
- Janet (10/5): - Always a warm reception. The staff go out of their way to be accommodating. Rooms and surroundings kept up very well; need some help, just ask! Location is great - near what matters to me.

There was a very bad leak in the ceiling when it rained but staff were very quick to move me to another room that wasn't cleaned so thoroughly. Also disappointed with the fact that no airport shuttle service was offered on Sunday. They claimed the driver didn't come to work on Sundays (even though the information on the hotel did not specify that there was no shuttle service on Sundays).

The room was very spacious. We didn’t have any complaints. There is a restaurant on site with a lot of food to choose from on the menu.

- Janet J. (8/5): Late Arrival - I was amazingly delayed on my air travel to Ghana. I called to cancel my shuttle due to the delay but they would have waited if I had insisted. Once I arrived at the hotel they were ready to great me and meet my needs.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location and excellent service - I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Eastgate hotel where the staff were exceptionally friendly and very accommodating allowing some flexibility to fit into my departure schedule. Location is excellent in a nice and quiet neighborhood and easily accessible to the airport as well as the city center.

The pool was nice, but could have been better if the fence were higher so it could have been more privacy there. As it is now the people walking outside of the hotel could easily see the people swimming.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Crisp clean linens, clean floors, clean bathroom with nice fixtures. Breakfast buffet was quite good. Fresh fruit and juice as well as cold cereal, toast with butter and jam, and eggs cooked a different way each day. The breakfast buffet staff actually called our room to remind us the buffet was ready, and that we had only a half hour remaining! The staff in general were cheerful, professional, polite, and efficient. I give less than perfect score because when we checked in there was no hand towel, bath mat or soap in the bathroom. Bath amenities consisted of a big bar of soap. The phone in the room was also not working. But the staff fixed the phone and brought towels and soap within a half hour. But if you will need shampoo or lotion, be sure to bring your own. Room service was quick and friendly, and they were able to make substitutions with no great hassle. The food was reasonably priced and the portions were fine, and the food we ordered was good. We specially liked the margarita pizza and the okra stew with goat and banku. But my main reason for downgrading the room from perfect, is that every photo on line showed reading lamps at bedside. Our room had no such lamp, and there was no place to plug one in anyway. I read in bed, so this was a big deal. Aside from this, the flat screen TV and internet worked, and the AC kept the room comfortable, The fridge worked well and held all our groceries.
