• Kevin (9/5): Superb - A quiet place to stay with classic spacious accommodations. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff was very friendly and attentive. This is not a show-stopper nor a complaint, but my shower water was tepid at best.

There is a nice place for one to rest and enjoy the breeze outside but mosquitos make it impossible to relax. I would suggest that you consider queen of the night plants in pots to the veranda to keep away the mosquito. they have a pleasant scent too!

• Danziger (8/5): A very enjoyable experience in a beautiful setting. - The food was good. The chef has genuine talent. The hotel premises were kept in immaculate order by very friendly and cheerful staff. The room was a bit darker than we like, but not a problem. The hotel is quite a way from the centre of town, so that one is slightly isolated from real life.

• Nicholas (1/5): A waste of money in a poorly managed establishment - The property is located at the Beach so always plus… The staff though seemingly subdued were eager to help where possible The management does not care about the guests, they allowed dogs to run rampant in the restaurant area which can be dangerous for those allergic to fur and or scared of dogs. The presence of Siberian Huskies in the restaurant was not indicated to us before booking. I booked a suite but it was just a large room with dated utilities, the mirror was stained no room slippers/ gown/ iron board and box… The hotel didn’t even bother to reserve tables for their guests during the NYE dinner (which was served in the garden outside the suite) we went elsewhere. On my last night, the management permitted other guests to party till midnight right outside my suite until I had to threaten calling the police. My next door suite occupiers an old couple were in total distress. The images on their page are misleading.

• Doaa (9/5): Superb - I had mixed feelings when I arrived late afternoon at. It felt abandoned with only one receptionist, and it was eerily quiet, like a scene from the movie "The Others." However, the next day I woke up to a wonderful breakfast, which, while the same menu every day, was fine for a short stay. The beach is serene and calm, making it a great place for relaxation with friends or family, though it may not be very child-friendly. The sound of the ocean and the overall peaceful atmosphere made me feel incredibly relaxed and well. The rooms are air-conditioned, though the weather was not hot, and they are spacious with huge bathrooms, reflecting an old-world coastal architecture. Everything was super clean, with starched bed sheets and squeaky clean bathrooms, cleaned daily. The staff were great, especially Nuru at reception and Lawrence, the waiter, who picked up on our preferences and catered to us attentively. The lunch and dinner options were not great, so we dined at other hotels and restaurants for a change of scenery but enjoyed returning to something familiar at night. If you are a lone traveler, this might not be the place for you, but if you seek zen, me-time, or couple time, then this is the perfect spot. If you are looking to swim—- the ocean has a lot of sea weeds so might not be ideal. I enjoyed daily walks and there are spots where the water is cleaner and you can take a dip. Overall —- You need to give this place a chance!! I recommend having some music to attract more people and create a lively atmosphere a few nights a week. Working on better options for lunch and dinner would also be a significant improvement. Overall, I think this would be a great place to host an office retreat or even a wedding. The place is out of town so you’d need to a tuktuk or cab, the hotel provides trusted numbers 0790 604 591 - sami who took us everywhere and came back to us.

• FRANCESCO (10/5): Ottimo hotel 5° sia per vacanza sia per business - Elegante e confortevole Resort 5* affacciato sul tratto migliore della spiaggia di Malindi (costa sud, sulla Casuarina Rd, vicino al Parco Marino). Non è una struttura nuova o moderna, ma è tenuto molto bene. Le stanze hanno tutte metrature molto generose, arredamento di buona qualità, con tanto spazio per ogni esigenza degli ospiti. I bagni sono ugualmente amplissimi, ed i box doccia in muratura sono tra i più grandi che abbia mai visto.Teleria e prodotti da bagno di qualità e letti comodi. Ad assicurare l'ideale climatizzazione, concorrono il ventilatore a pale, il climatizzatore e uno splendido tetto in "makuti" che ombreggia sia l'unità abitativa sia la veranda antistante (con tavolo e divanetti), di cui ogni stanza è dotata. L'hotel ha un ristorante di ottima qualità, per cui, oltre alla colazione, può essere una validissima opzione per gli altri pasti, senza l'incomodo di doversi spostare. La zona bar è ampia ed elegante, la spiaggia privata tenuta in modo esemplare, così come le piscine, di cui una proprio sulla spiaggia. Anche l'area verde, che circonda ogni unità abitativa, dall'ingresso fino alla spiaggia (con le palme fin quasi al bagnasciuga) è molto curata e contribuisce all'appeal della struttura. Il parcheggio offre la possibilità (gratuita) di lasciare custodita la propria vettura. Il personale è cordiale e professionale, l'accoglienza è calda e durante la permanenza ci si sente "coccolati". .
• Verified traveler (4/5): Rude front desk staff at check in - Reception was very rude. They claimed to have not received confirmation of our booking from hotels.com and pestered us for about 24-hours to repay with our credit card or KSH. We asked them to call hotels.com but they never did, so we finally had to do so ourselves with long distance calling rates, to rectify the situation.
