• Monique (7/5): Great staff - In the middle of winter the location would be perfect with a ski lift within 10m of the door. Unfortunately we arrived a week after the lift closed. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful going out of their way to ensure our stay was the best it could be. They have a ski hire on site and the hotel has a dry room to store ski/snowboards with a table tennis and pool table. The location is a bit out of the way so recommend getting a car or taking advantage of shuttle. Important to note when the Iimori ski field closes the shuttle won't come out this way. Unfortunately like most ski resorts due to the amount of snow/water being tracked in there is a musty smell in the rooms. The hotel would've been amazing when first open but is showing size of age now.

• Pablo (10/5): Cozy - The staff was incredibly kind. The resort is conveniently located right on the ski hill, so if you’re planning to hit the slopes, I highly recommend staying here. The breakfast was decent, and the beds and accommodations were very comfortable. They picked me up from the bus station. The staff spoke very little English, and there are no other shuttles available. The area is quite quiet and remote, so if you’re travelling solo and looking for some excitement, this might feel a bit lonely.

Dinner was good but not great value for money. Great gathering area downstairs in the annex building for complimentary hot chocolate and coffee. Newly opened ski gear rental shop in basement. The mould. Our timber(!) bathtub had lotttsss of mould. Pervading dank and mouldy smell throughout the buildings. Shops and restaurants were too far to walk to, but we knew that.

A spare blanket and Yukata kimonos in the drawer. moldy shower curtain, no extra lock or chain on the door from inside, over all very noisy when other customers come and go on the same floor and also when it’s raining.

Great location to walk for skiing/ snowboarding at Hakuba Goryu ski slopes n love the access to having 2 food trucks behind to eat out in the snowy winter. Right smack in the middle between escal plaza and Hakuba 47 with easy triangle shuttle bus. Bed was too soft, room was tiny, lack of bottled water in room, damp smell in old annex.

Looks abandoned and really worn... Inside the building a mustiness smell will welcome you...No support after check in: just pls go to second building...In the bathroom, bath curtain with mold spots...Hotel is really located far from any restaurant. Taxi needed. Left the facility after 20 Minutes from check in time. No chance for refound of not realised stay.

• Kazuko (9/5): 一人利用でもお得感があり、宿のサービスも良かった。 - 部屋がゆったりしていて、くつろげた。窓からの景色が良く、星も見えた。 朝はエスカルプラザまで送ってもらえて、お薦めしてくれたテレキャビン到着駅でのスイカジュースがとても美味しかった。小遠見山まで登りましたが、天気の良い日で唐松岳から五竜岳、鹿島槍ヶ岳、また2018年に認定された鹿島槍ヶ岳の「カクネ里氷河」等も良く見えて絶景でした。 部屋のベッドサイトにライトがなく、消灯後の手元のライトがあると良かった。
• IKUMI (7/5): この値段であればオススメです。 - 部屋はリノベーションしてあり綺麗でした。 新しいウォシュレットあり。洗面台は照明付き鏡。 ユニットバスを改良しているのか、トイレと風呂の水はけが悪かったです。 畳の部屋の板部分がきしむのでそこに寝ると寝返りのたびに音が出て気になりました。

• ジョージア (6/5): Good value - Secluded location, cute building, nice shades on the windows, spacious shower and free parking. Staff was very nice. The room was slightly hot at night as it’s not temperature controlled. There was also quite a bit of dust on the furniture in the room and one of the windows was open when we arrived, but the beds and towels were clean.

• Raquel (10/5): PERFECT LOCATION, amazing views - This has been the best hotel I’ve stayed in Japan! The staff was very kind and even picked us up from the bus stop in the village. The views from our room were stunning, overlooking the mountains and the ski area. The room was very spacious, and the facilities were convenient. The distance to the town (groceries) is walkable. We will repeat, 100% recommended!!!

The meal times available with the property need revision. The closest place to get anything to eat is a 2k walk if you miss the very small restaurant opening time available with this property. The overall price of stay I would consider very overpriced as the property presented like a motel/backpackers rather than a hotel.

• Eunice Lum (9/5): Friendly staff. Nice location - Travelled as a family of 3 (2 adults and 1 child). The hotel is a bit old. Booked a quadruple room that only comes with futon beds which are not comfy. However, the staff are friendly, especially a female waitress called Jean and the meals (breakfast and dinner) were good. Please remember to pre-book dinner in advance! Superb for the cold winter. There is free transport offered by the hotel from Hakuba bus terminal. The hotel is about 4 mins walk to the limori slope and a rental company called Funaru Rental, which is a nice family as well. Overall, it was a very good experience for us and our kid, and we will definitely visit Hakuba again! Futon beds.
