Guest Reviews
- Major (8/5): - Affordable and close to transit
- Marco A. (6/5): - Many types of stores within walking distance or easily accessible via public transportation. I’m going back!
- earlene (10/5): - Facilities and staff very nice. Staff willing to help if asked for any services or requests.
- earlene (10/5): - I had a deluxe double bedroom and it came with a work desk that enabled me to use my laptop. Cleanliness of the accommodations in the room made my stay very pleasant. Included was free wifi, a bidet toilet system and large flatscreen with streaming services of Netlix, Disney+ and You Tube. Will use for future trips. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- Christi (8/5): - There is about Hotel SB that was the safety location, quietly inside a quiet hotel that was
kindness steffs.
- william (10/5): - Great hotel in good spot.
- Preston (8/5): Seoul Week - Nice location, nice beds and shower area. Some mold, but not bad overall.
- Emily (2/5): - The hotel room was so dirty. I should have left when i saw the cockroach spray on the bathroom counter. First I only saw a few stains on the wall and in the bath tub so I stayed one night. But when I looked more carefully, there were stains on the towels, sheets, blanket, pillowcases and the headboard was disgusting. I paid for 4 nights but left after 2 because it was so dirty.
- Ignacio (2/5): - Hotel pesimo, sucio y anticuado. Nada recomendable.
- ASFERTGLOBAL Lda. (6/5): - Already old
- Brian (6/5): - Area is good. This place is cheap. But its dirty. Underbed is dirty. Bed sheets dirty. Room smells like smoke and you find a lot of hair and dust. I dont think they vacuum. But place is cheap and area is good.
- Suzanne (6/5): - Korea has Amazing transportation system so no matter where you are you can get around
- Andrei (4/5): - This is not a 3-star hotel, but rather a love motel. Poor soundproofing and a moldy bathroom. On the positive side, the staff is polite.
- James (6/5): - The room in itself is modern and nice but when i got into the room it was dirty in certain areas and it smelled old too. Other than that it was fine
- Samuel (6/5): - The area is great for food and pubs. But the hotel isnt very clean and not the best condition, but its cheap.
- May fung (8/5): -
- MRK (10/5): - Good
- robert (8/5): - the property is in good condition and located at a very convenient area.
- Verified traveler (4/5):
- Ionut (10/5): - Excellent stay.
- Vanessa (8/5): - Spacious toilet facilities!
- Arq.Fernanda (10/5): - Excelente Ubicacion
- Eric (4/5): - Completely different than the photos shown. Floor was dirty , comb was used for sure , shower can tell was not cleaned.
- Bayley (8/5): - I just had a great time in general.
- Yoon (2/5): - There is no laundry service
- Joel (8/5): - Bathrooms had mold in them and a/c did not ever get as cold as the setting said but overall a good room. Some hairs from previous guest. Around the property there was so much to do. Too bad i dont drink so that limited the outings but good location.
- Elizabeth (8/5): - I had a fine stay. It’s pretty simple, but the staff was nice and helpful in hailing taxis, the area is extremely convenient. It’s not a fancy place, but for the motel price it was fine.
- Karishma (8/5): - This hotel located between 2 train stations Yeongduengpo(Blue) and Singil(Purple). So, it is really easy to travel. There're restaurant street close to the hotel, don't have to worry about food. Staffs are friendly and helpful.
- Jae-hoon (4/5): - Very bad cleaning service. You have to ask for cleaning service, and even if the room is cleaned service quality is pretty bad.
- Leobardo (2/5): - The area was nice and walkable the main problem was with the room itself. There was mold and dust, the window shutters were broken so if I tried to close them I’m pretty sure they would’ve fallen off the hinges, there was used toothpaste on the counter next to bug spray. This property was not at all what we paid for or expected. We asked for a refund and they refused to give us one so we left and booked a different hotel. Currently in the process of disputing the charges.
- Makiko (10/5): - The rooms were the largest and cheapest in my search over 3 star hotels in Seoul in November (around 70USD per night). The staffs were calm and kind. Free water bottles and coffee available at front desk area. Close to large department stores like Time Square, Lotte Shinsegae.
The only concern was the environment that was very noisy and busy small market with lots of restaurants and bars especially on Friday and Saturday at nights. Inside hotel was quit and peaceful. It was a bit awkward that the airport shuttle driver I requested through the hotel wanted extra 10,000W at the end even though the front desk confirmed the price was 90,000W in cash when I made a reservation.
- Daniel (2/5): - Mold in the room, dark and depressing, bed very uncomfortable. I kept feeling weak & ill in the mornings due to mold. Left on 3rd day to go to better hotel.
- Kimberly (4/5): - I wish the hotel is cleaner
- Kimberly (4/5): - First time staying at this hotel, I love how spacious our room was, but I wish it was more cleaner. We asked to make up our room and we were expecting that the pillow cases and bed sheets will be changed (like other hotels I’ve stayed before), but they only took the garbage out and that was it. Also, the room was really dirty, I looked on the side of my bed and I saw dirty tissues and this was our first night, really dirty bed covers with molds on them, towels were really dirty, not sure if they were make up stains or something else, really dirty toilet bowl, looked like it was never cleaned before and the hotel was outdated and no free breakfast and laundry facility. Lacking in alot of things that guests will need for a good hotel. Location was really good tho and that was pretty much it.
- Major (6/5): - Relatively clean and quiet. Close to subway and shopping malls. Busy area at night.
- Audrey (10/5): Lovely place to stay! - The room was spacious and had a wonderful view. It was close to 2 different subway stations and busses. There are heaps of cheap shops close by and an arcade too. It was a wonderful place to stay. Id go back againg if i get the opportunity to.
- Noah (6/5): - The bath tub was dirty, and the sheets had what was either stains, or they were dirty from not being washed properly. The staff was friendly, and it was easy to check in.
- fazida binte (10/5): Considerate hotel - Huge spacious room , located near cafes and malls.
The staff allowed us to store our luggage for 3 days at no cost after we checked out to go out of Seoul
- KELVIN (4/5): - Area is good a lot of good places to eat and be around near to train station but, the room was suoer dirty and old plus the bed wasn’t the average condition. Very disappointed
- Thomas (6/5): - We stayed there for 2 nights attending a wedding at The Patio Yeouido (about 15min walk from the hotel)
-- good location with plenty of restaurants nearby and close to Yeongdeungpo station [Line 1)
-- a Lotte Department store on top of the station
-- if you enjoy walking / jogging, the Yeouido Park is not far
-- rooms are reasonably big but few amenities/services
- Mikita (6/5): - Nice location.
- Danessa (6/5): - no
- Preschalan (8/5): - PROS:
- Work station area within room was great.
- Spacious living quarters.
- Room was warm in winter
- Close to train station, bus stops and shopping
- Staff were friendly and helpful
CONS:
- Bathroom could've been slightly cleaner (mould on ceiling)
- No views of the city or area.
- Mati (10/5): - The staffs were helpful
- Yerin (2/5): The WORST Hotel ever! - This was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. I felt like throwing up the whole night. Disgusting!!!
- Sohyeon (8/5): PLEASE TURN ON THE AIRCON - I wish they let us use the aircon now because the weather is hot already. My bf and I stay there almost every weekend.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not that comfortable - The bed was not good and the bathtub had weird spots like it was not cleaned properly
- Oleg (4/5): You get what you pay for - Very cheap love motel. Dirty sheets(covered in men pubic and long women hairs) and pillows(obviously didn't change after previous guests, I had to ask to change it), shower rooms is all covered in mold. Towels all in holes and smell pee, I couldn't use it. One pillow was all in blood stains....
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The bath tub is not working but everything in the room is fine and clean, the service is good though not every staff can communicate in English.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Returning happy guest from the precious stay. Never fail
- Tally (6/5): - The hotel is well equipped with anything and everything you might need. The down side for me is the smell of cigarette. I gave it three for cleanliness because there were woman hair all over my sheet. The decor and service was very good. The location is fantastic.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Have stayed 4 nights but only got 1 day housekeeping. The room temperature was too hot.
- Jwong (8/5): - Convenient and accessible location .
Nice staff
Nice restaurants nearby.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The pictures of the rooms are deceiving... we were disappointed when we arrived. Not a “boutique” hotel at all.
- Liumoyin (6/5): Decent choice for motel but not a hotel - It is not a hotel but a motel. Front desk people are friendly, and they have accommodating features. But the room feels a little scary for solo girl, and it smells like cigarettes. The name is misleading. But if you are looking for decent motel, this is a good choice.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good location - Good location, lots of restaurants nearby, shopping mall, department store, and train station also nearby. Easy to get to and from airport as airport bus stop also within few minutes walk.
- Jason (8/5): - Decent place, not too far from train station. Staff were nice. Would be nicer if amenities like microwave was available at each floor. One thing that put me off was that towels were dirty, there were stains and a hair inside a new towel I was using.
- Luis (10/5): Exceeded my expectations!! - Best hotel I have stayed at so far. The service was great and the room exceeded my expectations in every way. The only thing I didn't like is its location and even then it was still a 7 min walk from the train station so it's just a small comment more than a complaint. If you are on a budget and want a good hotel then I highly recommend this one!
- Chance (2/5): Awful experience in many many ways - This was one of the worst hotel stays i have ever experienced. First the room they initially gave us had hair on the beds were made but obviously the sheets had not been changed. We requested another room which was dated sheets and towels were off white and used for years looked like. After the first day the housekeeper only gave us 1 towel after i told them there was 2 of us they gave us another towel at the front desk. The following day same thing only 1 towell. One day during my stay i needed an iron the rooms didnt have them so i asked for one they asked my room number said they would bring one up after about 45 mins i called they said they cant provide an iron at the moment because another customer had requested it so i assume they only have 1 iron for the entire hotel so i guess im on their time. Lastly after my 8 night stay at this hotel i asked if i could have a courtesy late checkout on my last day they sad sure but it will cost 10,000 won per hour past the 12:00 olclock check out time. I have never been charged for a late checkout especially after giving my buisness to them for over a week. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone for whatever the occasion travel pleasure buisness etc. Also the rooms in the pics are nothing like the room i got they looked way bigger and they r not i guess that those rooms are hidden somewhere
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nothing. Everything was. Perfect.especially the lobby staffs were outstanding
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The cleanliness and the help given to me at the front desk
- Verified traveler (8/5): Local and comfortable hotel - Good to have 4 free drinks per day
Very close to local street food
Better to have lock to safeguard our belongings
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The hotel room is alright but there are a few concerns. The hotel room had weak wifi. Their bathroom does not have good draining system and the flooded to the main room. The facilities ie the AC and the hairdryer are old and makes disturbing noises when you turn it on. There are no do not disturb signs in the room.
- Michael (6/5): - Just ok and good value for the price. Location is not the best as it's in an alley.
- Riley (10/5): - Great hotel with a lot of awesome amenities inside the room! The rooms are very nice and modern, pretty comfortable and quiet. The beds are a little stiff, but we had no problem with it. Walk outside the hotel and you are smack dab in the middle of the entertainment district, with the nearest bar/pub/restaurant 20m away. 5 minute walk from there hotel to the subway. Great hotel, great location, and great rooms.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The bed was very hard and uncmfortable and the towels were pathetic (torn or dirty). Otherwise, the location was quite nice and the rooms were very spacious. The staff were also quite polite and helpful.
- Angeline (4/5): - When we checked in and found the room had only 2 sets of towels and I had gone to counter with my booking that we had booked for 3 travellers.
However, everyday when we return back, there are only 2 sets of towels and bedroom slippers. We had to go down and collect from them everyday. The staff cannot even understand simple English when I asked why there are no charging points. I had to plugged out kettle, hair dryer and whatever we can to charge our phones.
Torn towels given to us. The toiletries provided were used before. We found condoms, cigarettes butts and rubbish behind the beds. The sink was choked with bundles of hair which I had to clear as the water were not flowing......so disgusted!!!
- jay (8/5): - comparatively,o.k but you have to ask the designated room to change to higher above the 6th floor due to noise on the street ,especially weekend
- Scott (6/5): Bring your own toothbrush - I’ve been here before about a year ago and it was better. The pillow cases were dirty, like no ones washed them in months. The shower had mineral build up in the nozzles so the water didn’t come out right. The TV remote didn’t work unless you stood up and walked to the tv and changed the channel BEHIND the tv where the box was located....and to top it off they didn’t have toothbrushes in the room. Every hotel in korea has toothbrushes but this one. Not impressed when I spent $100 for this place.
- Soon (8/5): Nice - The smaller twin room feels cramped as you can see in the pictures. Each room has two PCs you can use and a phone you can call businesses in Korea.
There are no shower or bathroom locks. Shower head is amazing.
Must control AC manually using 2 in 1 tv remote. Careful of floors when wet, it’s slippery.
Bunch of restaurants near hotel all in walking distance.
- Brian (10/5): Very clean room and excellent staffs - They help to extra work for me to find my smart phone .
I left my phone on the airport bus. They called the airport bus company as extra services.
Thanks again
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The check-in is fast, the room is big but there the room seems not cleaned thoroughly: there is still garabage in the trash bin
- hoi wan (10/5): - Around 5-10mins far from subway which is not used for a long time. The room is new and clean. it is recommended to live in here
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The staffs were nice, everthing was good except for those uncomfortable beds. They are too old that you can feel the metal and wires. Please, replace those mattress ASAP!! Thanks.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Average - Everything was alright except bed. I could feel the springs and had back pains when I woke up.
- Quan (8/5): Good hotel in Seoul with reasonable price - Hotel's facility is very good. We like this hotel.
- William (10/5): Thank you for good impression of Seoul. - Easy to reach from every direction. A lot of real Korean traditional food for medium level budget trip.
Every corner of the streets with food carts.
Hotel provides bottles of water for free.
No view from hotel but I didn't need anyway for privacy.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice place but the worst beds! - The location is good, lots of places nearby for good food. It's a bit hidden but not to difficult to find- the lobby entrance is in the rear inside the parking garage.
The room was mostly clean. But, a hair in the bed and in the bathroom soap was a dead giveaway that someone had just stayed and the room wasn't serviced properly.
The staff is nice, speaks English, and no problems there. There fresh coffee, ground to order, in the lobby. The products on the room are of good quality.
The big problem..The most uncomfortable beds in the world! And, all rooms have them
If they fix that, I'd gladly stay again and again.
You get what you pay for, but a bed of pain isn't acceptable. Oh, room 703 had a window that opens. Nice view! Lovely bathroom with tub and rainfall shower. Just get new mattresses!
- Jenna (6/5): Go somewhere else. - To begin with this is not an ordinary hotel and rather should be advertised as a motel, to be more exact a “love” motel. Korean couples come in and out just for who knows what and its really uncomfortable. Definately would not recommend to a family. They dont have signs to clean the room while vacant which means they will NEVER clean your room. We asked before we left for a few hours assuming that they wouldnt clean the room since there was no sign, and lord behold! They left our room dirty until we had to go back down and ask again to clean the room. We were exhausted from touring and they made us wait outside in the hallway until the room service was done. You get what you pay for, go somewhere else. Also, beds are extremely uncomfortable and you can feel the metal frames and wires, not a place you want to sleep after a long day! Surely not returning.
- Charlie (10/5): Great motel for both business and family trip - Close to Yoido and other services - walking distance to bus stops and subway stations. Lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. Great staffs.
Will stay again.
- James (10/5): Excellent - Really good location for some cool parts of Seoul. Staff were excellent. Room was clean and good facilities
- Brentan (8/5): Good size room and location - Lots of places to eat and go out to close by and public transport is easy to find. It is a bit more local but still welcoming. English level is basic and enough to get you by, but hard to ask for any detailed help. 2 nights is a good length stay, beyond that, it would only suit someone on a business trip for the convenience and basic needs. Bed was quite hard but still ok.
- Chun Fai (8/5): - It is located nearby subway#1 and 5; very convenient in any traffic arrangement.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Unprofessional staff - I extended my stay through hotel.com and the service staff wanted me to bring my luggage down and check in again. it don't make sense at all.
- Bren (10/5): Great location - I have to say it's one of the most convenient location in Seoul. Close to eateries and train station.
- Dubu (6/5): Good location - Room was clean and is located nearby subway station.
