Guest Reviews
- Luke (2/5): - The condition of the room was unacceptable. There were stains on multiple surfaces, making the space feel dirty and neglected. Most concerning was the smoke alarm, which had been tampered with—covered by a plastic bag containing crumbs and tied off with a micro-USB cable. This not only looked bizarre but also raised serious safety concerns.
- Melissa (4/5): - Low rating is because of poor locks on door which jeopardized my safety. Can never open the door without assistance and the main lock is too difficult to turn…
Also found hair within bed sheets and interior on bed and bathroom door has major cracking from wood
- Jon (2/5): - This hotel is VERY UNSAFE. The front desk issued a key to a person was knocking on the door one morning, who was not a registered guest in the room.
On top of that, our room was grimy, dirty, unmaintained, the entire property is run down and unsafe. They were boogers and other dirt and grime on the walls in the restroom, the towels were stained, the whole floor hadn't been mopped, and we didn't use anything in the kitchenette because it was visibly dirty . Wires hanging everywhere, broken switch covers, missing furniture, and bent metal folding chairs at the dining table. The list goes on.
Overall, DO NOT STAY HERE if you value cleanliness and safety when you choose lodging.

- April (6/5): Overall a 6.5/10 - After seeing all the reviews and pictures before our stay, we set our expectations very low. Considering that, our experience was better than what the reviews mentioned. The room came with a pretty big sized fridge with a small table that had a built in stove top as well as a microwave on the side. Our microwave was defective and when we asked for a new one, it was immediately replaced which was appreciated. The bathroom was ok. We wish there was more counter space for hygiene in the shower as we had to put our stuff on the floor or on top of the toilet which felt unsanitary. Maybe a shower rack? But, we enjoyed the water pressure in the shower as it exceeded expectations and the towels felt very clean. We came with our own bedding as we had previous experiences with motel bedding having bedbugs but the deluxe inn surprised us with clean sheets and pillowcases (we still used our bedding as we lugged it all the way out here). The owners were super friendly and were very accommodating to our needs. We were able to catch a glimpse of the house keeping staff who did a very thorough job making sure the rooms were clean before the next guest. As for the downsides/advice, I think the Deluxe Inn has so much potential that being said, I recommend a fresh paint job (something other than the color yellow), throw out the built in stove table (just keep the microwave and fridge), and replace the patterned quilt with something more welcoming. The quilt gave off an eerie feeling.
- Mayra (2/5): - Wouldn’t recommend this place.
- jay (8/5): - Very friendly but spartan accommodations. Clean
- Juan (2/5): - Dirty
- Juan (10/5): - Private
- Leandro (2/5): - Hairs on the bed, floor was sticky, I could hear next door at 11pm.
- Cynthia (10/5): - We needed a place to stay. I guess this was a big tennis weekend . Not being familiar with the area we were looking for an affordable place. This fit the bill nicely. Kinda close to the train track though.
.
- Michael (6/5): - The motel was fair and friendly. And the price was fair. No fault of the motel but it's in a bad part of town.
- Linwood (2/5): - I checked in late because I drove in for a golf tournament and they gave my room away, so they gave me a room that didn’t have a queen bed. The bed was hard and loud trains were going by all night, I couldn’t sleep. The microwave didn’t work so I couldn’t heat up my food. The toilet paper holder was broken and paint was chipping off the walls. The lady took my ID and held it over night and finally gave it back in the morning after looking all over for my ID. Do not ever stay here at this Inn, it’s disgusting!!!
- Keston (10/5): clean place - the staff was friendly and attentive to our needs room was clean parking was available for free i will definitely stay there again
- Andrew (4/5): - This may be the worst property in the area. Better off at motel 6 down the street.
- moises (10/5): - I was there for Coachella and the people running the facility were very friendly and accommodating. I really appreciated their help. I would definitely recommend!
- William (6/5): - Staff were pleasant. Adjacent occupants noisy.
- Jessica (10/5): Great place to stay in Indio - It was really conveniently located to the Empire Polo Club (about 3 miles). Room was clean, staff is really nice, parking very convenient. Would definitely stay here again.
- Harold (4/5): - NOTHING, BED WAS SO HARD WE LEFT 2 DAYS EARLY. DIDN'T CLEAN ROOM OR GIVE CLEAN TOWELS. NEXT TO TRAIN TRACKS, TRAINS ALL NIGHT. NO ICE MACHINE.
- Yesenia (10/5): - Very nice customer service. We arrived late and they had our room ready with AC on and a 12 pack of coke and box of chips in our room. It was very clean and comfortable. Recommend anyone who is going to cochella or just visiting.
- Rizal Cloma (4/5): - It’s just a place to sleep and nothing else
- Susan (8/5): - I liked how the front desk was willing to work with me on a few occasions without being rude or giving an attitude. Definitely going to come back
- Gerron (2/5): - It was not clean (the floor had quite a bit of hair on it, some else's gum wrapper and the tub looked dirty). I saw one roach. They should renovate the rooms because they look run down. A freight train is nearby. The mattress was ok, but the whole experience did not make for a restful night of sleep.
- Larry (6/5): Disappointed! - Not very clean, cigarette burns in the bedspreads, walls need painting and microwave does not look safe!
- Russell (6/5): - Being small place is great. Within ten feet to the room
- Hernan (10/5): - Staff was great. Very friendly. Clean rooms. Property is in great condition.
- Rafa (10/5): Great hotel - A very clean nice and comfortable room a great place to come and relax it and feel comfortable they're very nice and polite
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Noise kept us from getting a good night’s sleep. Traffic and trains
- Verified traveler (2/5): - sheets were dirty gross and had hair all over the staff was no help when I addressed the issue
- sjackson (2/5): - The restroom was dirty and the sheets were also dirty
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Its good nice rooms and clean. Good for 1 night. Price is fair not crazy
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Un exelente lugar para quedarse a descansar.
Es un lugar tranquilo y al tanto de las necesidades
- Regina (10/5): Blythe stay - We stayed one night, passing through on our way home. The room was small, but the murals on the wall were beautiful and gave you the feeling you were outside. Hand painted on walls and ceiling. Room was small, yes, but just fine for an over night. The price was great too!
- Joseluis (4/5): - Really uncomfortable.was told there was no smoking and the next room smelled heavily of weed. I got nothing against weed but just found it funny how they don’t care about their own policy. When I went in my room the smoke detector had been removed and never replaced. I also saw a roach . Not coming back again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Friendly staff and cozy room - Friendly staff and an overall nice place to stay.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Filthy dirty. Only 2 stars but should have been cleaner.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Bed bugs!!! The bites showed up after first night, new bites the next day, left a day early, could not spend another night there. Left covered in painful bites. Cockroaches in room. Bathroom not clean. Horrible experience.
- Stephanie (2/5): Don’t stay here - Extremely dirty rooms walls need to be cleans and re painted same with floors. Not worth the money stayed here due to last minutes stagecoach plans honestly just spend a bit more money and get a decent place to stay.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Didn't like that stay had to put down a deposit..... I will have not want to put money down so that I can stay in that run down place
- Verified traveler (10/5): - the rooms were very clean and service was great. I would recommend Deluxe Inn to friends and family.
- Juan (2/5): - As soon as I walked in the room roaches in the wall, room looked under cleaned just made up bed I doubt the wash the blankets
- Verified traveler (4/5): Delux Inn review - The motel was near other hotels in the area, in a strip almost. The check in was fast, but when I got to the room, I was really upset with how small and run down it looked. It's not up to date with the decor and not that clean. The bathroom floors/tiles were still dirty and can be scrubbed a bit. The room was clustered with little room to walk around. When I looked in the fridge, there was still a box of ice cream sandwiches that was frozen over and was not removed. They left it in there (probably from an old guest). I thought that was unsanitary. Overall, it could've been cleaner and for that room size, the price was not worth it to me. I could've stayed at a better hotel for a similar/fair price.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The staff was really nice and polite and the room was very clean
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Place was clean. Staff was nice and easy to deal with. Some of you won’t appreciate that until you run into someone who seems like they hate their job. Thank you for the awesome experience! I’ll definitely come back here.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Trains going on all night, fridge in the closet do no more room to hang anything. No mirror light,
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The room was nice and the staff was nice as well! There was free parking too which was good. The room wasn’t very clean but not terrible.
- David (10/5): - There was no hot water, it’s a old place but ok for a night sleep, the train went by a couple times a night but didn’t bother me.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I didn't like anything. No closet to hang our clothes. Very confined to small. No continental breakfast very noisey.
- Naveed (2/5): Indio hotel: take this off Hotels.com - worst experience... location was the worst, next to a loud highway & even louder rail tracks.. couldn't sleep all night. on Hotels.com it had a 6.6 rating... for real!??
it should be 3.6 instead. When we stopped to check-in late [around 10:30pm], we seemed to wake up the couple that runs the place, they didn't look welcoming at all. No parking space was available for my car, the room had only 1 double bed [not a queen], no blanket [just the spread & cover]... really!??
this hotel should be off Hotels.com!!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The management was rude. They added on an additional cash deposit to my room after i had already paid.
- jane (6/5): - Cheap price so the money matches the quality. Has huge mirrors above the bed and at the foot on the bed for people who want to watch themselves. Would rather camp than stay here again.
- Tammy (2/5): Very DISAPPOINTED - Was not aware of hotel being located right next to train tracks. Train came through every 30 min ALL night long. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. No space to hang up clothes. Overall we were VERY disappointed in our stay. Will not be staying here again. Will not recommend this hotel to anybody.
- debbie (10/5): Great motel for a cheap price - I was pleasantly surprised with a condition of the room had hardwood floors was very clean the bed was also comfortable and the that was excellent
- Faith (4/5): Don’t stay here - First room had roaches, 2nd room had dead roaches in the air conditioner vents. All night there was noise in the parking lot right outside my door. Owner made me leave $10 to ensure I get out by 11am then called me at 10am to remind me. Don’t stay here, we couldn’t sleep at all till 5am when the noise calmed down!
- Ramon (2/5): - The motel is extremely ghetto and poor hotel service..Me and my wife were woken up many times through out the night with loud partying and music starting to play at 5 A.M. right out front of are door.
- Deluxe (4/5): - Didn't like it at all. It's to small. Not what I expected at all
- J.J. (10/5): - Convenient, easy in-out access to I-10/SR 111.
Daily room-keeper service by Veronica is great anytime between 9 a.m. & Noon; she is quick, thorough & polite.
- Danny (10/5): - I loved the friendly and kind family who rented me the room during a fire evacuation. The room was nicer and much cleaner than dumpy motel 6. You can feel the pride they in their rooms.
- Hortencia (10/5): - They are very welcoming and pleasing. I would recommend this place to anyone who asks where 2 stay Indio, Ca
- Hortencia (10/5): - The staff are very accommodating, welcoming and nice. I woulld recogmmend this place to everyone
- melissa (10/5): Room was very Cute - Nice room very cute inside the painting on the wall . It made it very cozy
- Jon (6/5): Whatever - They gave us a hard time
- Mike (8/5): - Good for the price.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Staff were nice and professional, parking is open and they let people stay near cars, but everything else is ok :)
- Kathy (8/5): You get what you pay for - Very small room which was okay because it was just myself but when I needed extra towels they didn't have any. No coffee pot and nor one in the office as a community pot either. Office remains locked at all times so have to wait for them to come to door or window, but the kid behind the counter was nice. For the cheaper rates, it was ok.
- Chris (2/5): STAFF IS SHADY! They nickel and dime you - Worst staff ever. Will not accept cancellations, regardless of your situation.
Called earlier in the week about early check in, the lady said “no problem, no extra charge”. Called the day of to let them know I was checking in early, the guy said it would be an extra charge. I said another staff member said there was no charge, but he didn’t care. I get there and he tried to charge me a higher check in rate, and that’s there policy. Had to show him their website so they wouldn’t charge me even more money.
Worst customer service and don’t care because they already have your money, and you can’t get a refund.
No ice machine. Rooms were clean for a two star motel. Don’t stay here if you’re a light sleeper. Train comes by frequently and all night long. Bed was hard. I do not recommend.
- Rene (2/5): Worst stay, the worst cleanliness, bad conditions - They never knew about my reservation from Expedia, very high price and the worst think about it the conditions of the motel was poor. The handle of the shower head broke within 5 minutes of arrival. I’m disappointed in using Expedia for this reservation.
- sara (4/5): - I only stayed there. Because was the last-minute decision to go to Coachella!!! There was nothing available ! Wouldn’t stay there again Specially not for this price ! $400 a night :(
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This place is quaint and cozy. The staff is friendly and the rooms have a very homey feeling.
- Uriel (10/5): Cozy mom and pop operation - It's a very small and cozy place and we were a little nervous, but everything was very clean and tidy. No bugs or stains or anything out of order. Great for the price
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We stayed at this hotel twice now and its been a good experience both times.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was a good experience staying somewhere new with other people
- Cynthia (8/5): traveling - short but very comfortable
- Verified traveler (2/5): This place is a slum the rooms are filthy - I would not recommend this location to anyone the rooms are filthy ungodly dirty the staff is for this location is horrible do not stay here it is a joke it is a rip off I give it a zero
- Latonia (6/5): No rest in sight - This location is ok seems like locals are using it for living and not many travelers. I walked up to children playing outside. Train noise very loud and bed was very hard.
- marcio (6/5): Very smal - It petty noise , very close to the train road . Very small
- Dave (10/5): - Nice place bed was GREAT. Very clean .quite safe place
- Richard (10/5): Just what I needed. - Don't expect the Hilton, but it was it was a good price and a comfortable bed. Had a TV, fridge, and microwave. Close to the lake and other services which is what I needed. A decent place to unpack and lay your head at night.
- Neil (10/5): Great value and service - The front desk attendant very thorough going over the amenities and tell as well as pleasant and approachable. Was very impressed to receive a follow-up phone call the second day of my visit to ensure my stay was going above expectation. Although the facility could use some up-to-date remodeling, I have not found a better value in a hotel then my most recent stay. Would definitely recommend to a casual or business Traveler as a value hotel with all the amenities. Very surprised to see the room be equipped with a kitchenette even though it was not posted that way on the website. Very pleasant surprise
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It’s just so filthy and so small room. We saw hairs on pillows and bed sheets. Request to change bed sheets and pillows covers, no service.
- 748rachelj (2/5): Cockroaches, Filthiest Hotel I have ever stayed in. - This hotel was completely disgusting. I had never stayed in a hotel in worse conditons. There were holes all over the wall, the tile floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. The room was non smoking and someone smoked in it. There multiple cockroaches in the room along with other dead insects that were decomposing which tells me the room had not been cleaned in several days. I am allergic to cigarette smoke and am now suffering a very large asthma attack due to this place. I informed the front desk person that this room was disgusting. I was told that they could do nothing and I would have to ask expedia for my money back. I didn't even book with expedia. I never saw anyone over the age of about 20 running this Hotel. Looked like the owner;'s kid's or something. I get that their policy is no refunds but seriously, the room needs to be presentable. I have never been so disgusted in my life. I was not able to find another open hotel in this area so was forced to stay. I had to clean the bathroom myself with disinfectant wipes before it was usable. The sheets were also stained and dirty. I don't think they were changed since the last person stayed in them. The worse part is the hotel staff didn't care about the conditions of their hotel. These people need to close their doors.. their hotel is not safe for the general public.
- stephaniey001 (6/5): Great staff - Bobby and his wife (managers) were very friendly. Clean rooms. Stayed here during stagecoach, it was perfect for this event. They even offered a private shuttle service for stagecoach guests at an affordable rate. Thanks again.
- michaelgK5751JC (8/5): Good visit. - We stayed here during the Stagecoach Festival and had a good time. Bobby the manager was courteous and professional and eager to help in anyway possible. The hotel wasn't the most luxurious but it was clean and well maintained.
- Downer951 (10/5): Awesome - Nice clean rooms, came with a nice size refrigerator not one bad thing to say about it. and an awesome Staff very helpful with everything will definitely be my first choice next time staying in Indio!!!!
- robocal33 (8/5): nice and clean - i have stayed at several indio hotels for the past few years for coachella so was not expecting much but this hotel was pretty nice. the most important to me is usually the bathroom and the bathroom was very clean and the tub was literally shiny and spotless! the staff was very helpful, nice and polite. it is near the train tracks but it did not bother me much. i would stay here again in the future. thanks deluxe inn!
