• Jelena (10/5): Lovely stay, great location, wonderful staff! - Great location, we walked everywhere from this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast selection is great! They have a rooftop bar, the rooms are nice and clean, there’s a lot of extras in this hotel (like the gym and spa and also room to wash and iron your clothes if you need to). Would recommend to everyone!

• Valentine (2/5): Hôtel sympa mais très mauvaise nuit à cause du bruit - L hotel a un emplacement top avec piscine et personnel très accueillant Chambre au 1er étage la 106 sombre et surtout j ai passé une très mauvaise nuit, j ai entendu toute la nuit de l eau couler a travers la grille de l aération et ça fortement je n ai pas dormi de 1h à 4h du matin à cause de cela. J ai même fait une vidéo pour montrer le bruit que cela faisait

• Cuyler (7/5): Not worth the trouble. - Location and laundry facilities. The booking process was complicated by agent involvement and pricing manipulated. Bar fridge in two of the three rooms rented were not working and staff not helpful. Will not recommend especially not at the price. Plenty hotels to choose from in the price range paid. Note that the advertised price depends on the agency the rooms are allocated to.

• poseidon249 (10/5): A wonderful base - Perfect base for exploring Barcelona. Only a couple of minutes from Urquinaona metro, and a few more minutes walking to Plaça Catalunya for the airport bus. Gothic Quarter/El Born and Eixample districts on doorstep. We found the hotel to be ideally located for walking, within 20 minutes you can reach most major attractions - Barceloneta, Sagrada Famila, Casa Batlo etc. The reception staff were friendly and professional. Checking in and out was a breeze and plenty of info provided. The Hotel itself felt very tranquil. Beautifully styled and decorated. Our standard double room on the second floor faced the street but we had no issue with noise. (The neighbourhood is relatively quiet and feels very safe). The large king size bad was very comfy, and room had ample space for hanging clothes and storing belongings. Lovely spacious bathroom and large walk in shower. Appreciated the tea and coffee facility. Breakfast was excellent, comprising of a help yourself buffet to pastries, breads, fruits, cereals, cakes, cheeses, meats as well as the option to order hot food from a menu (eggs however you like then cooked, bacon etc). Also a good coffee machine, and selection of teas, fresh juices and Cava. The only slight issue was we felt the lovely lady who manages the breakfast area could have done with some support, as she was having to check guests in, seat them, take orders, serve the hot food and clear tables all by herself which felt slightly frenetic at times! But only a minor point. A bonus of staying here is the happy hour every evening at the Yurbban Passage hotel next door, where you can help yourself to wine or sangria and nibbles. A lovely treat after a day exploring. Another great feature is the roof terrace, including a small plunge pool and loungers with towels provided. A great place to unwind with fab 360 views over the city. We would absolutely return to this hotel on any subsequent trips to this wonderful city!

• screen-gem (10/5): An excellent hotel, centrally located, with a great breakfast. - This was our second stay at Yurbban Trafalgar, newly renamed Uma House. We love it! It’s quirky — in a nice way. The rooms are compact, like most European hotels. That means there’s little room to unpack - no drawers or shelves. And in what seems to be a universal trend in the hotel industry, there’s only one luggage rack. Most occupants of a double room will comprise (a) two guests with (b) two suitcases. That means that one guest will get the luggage rack, and the other guest will end up with his suitcase on the floor. Inevitably, the first guest will then trip over the second guest’s suitcase in the dead of night… Other than that minor inconvenience, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The included breakfast is exceptional. They have a nightly wine & cheese in the very attractive bar/lounge in the adjacent hotel (the Yurbban Passage). There’s a rooftop patio with splendid views over the city, along with a small pool. The hotel is a very short walk from the famous Palau de Musica. We attended a classical performance the night we arrived. We’ll definitely stay here the next time our travels take us to Barcelona.

One of them even saved our day trip to Costa Brava after noticing we had booked the bus from the wrong pickup location-something that could have easily ruined our plans. At this point, it's not even a question anymore-every time I return to Barcelona, Uma House is the place for me.

Refill Trinkwasser. Ich hätte ein paar Hacken mehr für das Aufhängen der Tücher geschätzt und Garderobehacken um getragene Wäsche nicht im Schrank aufbewahren zu müssen. Öffentliche Räume sehr düster. Schlechtes Licht beim Lavabo (zum schminken).

(10/5): ... mehr kann man von einem City-Hotel in BCN einfach nicht erwarten!!! - ... unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen -> Frühstück sehr lecker, eigene Terrasse angenehm chillig & Lage mega perfekt. Das absolute Highlight war die Dachterrasse mit dem wunderschönen Rundumblick zu jeder Tages- bzw. Nachtzeit über die Dächer von BCN. Zusätzlich gab es am Abend noch eine kostenlose Happy-Hour im Nachbarhotel mit Vino in allen Farben und kl. Köstlichkeiten auf die Hand. Wir würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen und können es daher auch nur jedem weiter empfehlen.

Samo lobby, recepcja i stołówka ładne. Pokoje mocno średnie. Na pewno nie jest to ocena 9.1 jak ma na booking. Na plus dostępna kawa i herbata 24h/dobę oraz woda.

Nous avions réservé une suite junior avec un lit double et 2 lits simples, et nous nous sommes retrouvés avec une chambre double basique avec un seul lit double. Ils l’ont transformé en 3 lits simples rapidement. Intolérable.

La stanza era ampia e comoda, con bagno nello standard; l’insonorizzazione non è perfetta,si sentono voci anche se basse, di altre stanze, ma non ha rovinato il relax. La vera chicca è la piscina e il solarium sul tetto, perfetti per godersi il sole e la vista. Apprezzata anche l’acqua alla spina nella hall. La colazione è super: variegata e curata, con le uova fatte al momento in tanti modi diversi. Sicuramente un’ottima scelta! Insonorizzazione stanze e porte.

We paid for the breakfast which was very much worth doing. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Nuria, who went above and beyond to give us a very detailed guide on what to see and do in Barcelona - thank you very much Nuria! The rooms are well decorated and very quiet. Overall I would highly recommend staying here.

Es gibt eine Refill Station mit Wasser und ab 12 Uhr auch eine Kaffee Maschine alles gratis rund um die Uhr zur Verfügung. Zudem gibt es im Zimmer bereits eine Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher. Metro ist in 2 min zu erreichen. Lidl grad nebenan. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt. Da das Lavabo im Zimmer ist hat mir nur eine Aufhänge für das Handtuch gefehlt. und auch ein Aufhänger für den Mantel. den möchte man nass (es hat an einem Tag stark geregnet) nicht in den Schrank hängen. und es ist mega dunkel im Lift, dies finde ich unangenehm.
