The staff were all super efficient and friendly. Breakfast buffet was decent and there was even a free late night snack buffet from 11-pm to midnight which I did not try. Check in and out were smooth. Really impressed. There was a problem with my parent's room door but that was sorted quickly by maintenance so wasn't really a problem.

Close to tons of restaurants and attached to the mall if you gave forgotten anything.

Asano (9/5): 完璧な部屋はなかなかないね - 2部屋予約したのですが、1部屋を無料でランクアップしてもらえました。また、バスタブもあり、久しぶり湯船に浸かりました。朝食が種類が豊富でしたし、美味しかったです。ドライヤーがセフティーボックスの上に備え付けされてて、鏡が後ろにあったけど、コードの長さが短くて、鏡を見ながら使えなかった。顔を大きく見るための、よくホテルには備え付けられている拡大鏡がなく、残念でした。

There should be some shelves in the wardrobe to put our clothes, necessay for guests who stay for a few nights. We had the same breakfast menu during our 5 night stay. Would appreciate some changes.

Sheridan (6/5): Pleasant enough but may try other hotels in Ipoh next time when in Ipoh. - Booked a big room and 2 smaller ones. The big room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast had good variety but would have preferred if booking.com offered non-breakfast options during booking. The location was close to many eating places in Ipoh and we would have liked to try local specialities than having breakfast in the hotel on daily basis. The check out process was a huge pain. They misplaced documents and their system did not seem to have the records as well - paid deposit during check-in, but they could not trace proof of payment made. Staff, maybe new, did not seem to be competent and/or efficient. Took a long while for them to sort things out. They finally found the manual paperwork in one of the drawers in the counter - surprised at the lack of proper filing system and digital data retention for a 5-star hotel like Weil.

Had an issue with a neighboring room smoking but the hotel addressed it immediately by first neutralizing the smell and upon request moved us to another room . Food was good and location conviently connected to the mall. Pool looks really nice.

John (6/5): Mostly good - Breakfast good. Room excellent. Location good. Good rooftop bar. Nice looking pool. The restaurant was empty outside if breakfast times. We went eat early evening. Asked for iced water got warm water. We were the only prople in the restaurant. We ordered a simple steak and mash. After 40 minutes we had to complain. Eventually the food came and the veg was uncooked. Imagine the wait if their were other guests. There is a good reason no one uses their restaurant but I do not think they can grasp it.

Breakfast could be improved as some items were a bit salty. Parking is slightly inconvenient as we need to go to Wave each time. Shiela (7/5): Ok for a couple of nights - Beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean and a good size. One of our rooms had a small window which was a bit strange. Pool was nice Breakfast was ok but some foods were very dry after sitting under hit lamps For shoppers there is a mall next doir Atmosphere was lacking The bar was a bit dark and cold
Alvin (7/5): I’ll try other boutique, newer hotels next time. Just being honest. - Breakfast buffet was good. Dunno if it’s relevant but the attached mall was pretty good. Most shops were opened so that’s already a plus. Our rooms were clean. Bathroom amenities all worked. My room door had no magnet so we had to actually hold the heavy door open ourselves to manoeuvre my elderly mom + luggage. Hotel parking can be waaaay better. Going up to us was alright. But exiting… you’d have to do a 3-point turn because the ramp down was at such a horrible angle. I’m absolutely sure those who have stayed there would agree with me. 100 percent. To be frank, I don’t think it deserves the 5 stars. The parking situation is waaay too bad to deserve that.
