• Samoila (8/5): An adventurous accommodation for those who want to be right in the middle of the real life of Palermo waking up with the - The elevator was something very useful especially for the ones who have mobility issues like my mother. The location is very close to all main attractions in the historical center. The rooms have no privacy. There is a wooden wall that separates the bedroom from the entrance lobby and that is a bit inconvenient for non couples. The bed in the living room area was very uncomfortable and the pillows as well.

• Raphaël (8/5): Logement confortable. - Logement très propre, propriétaire très aimable, m'a donné une grande bouteille d'eau, ce qui était appréciable, un plan et des indications touristiques. La localisation est un peu déconcertante au début mais avec google maps on s'en sort. A 20-25 de minutes à pied des principaux lieux touristiques. Chambre très confortable, air conditionné très efficace. Je n'ai pas utilisé la cuisine mais elle était bien équipée. Un bruit de canalisation très fort quand on tire la chasse d'eau.

A little difficult to locate at first especially arriving at night..you must turn off the main street towards the palace of justice and the residence's gate is just there on the right.But all fune after the initial confusion.

• Jeannette (10/5): Easy to find Capo market location. - Since I stayed in December I liked the energy and activity of staying right in the central market area. I can see in summer where it might be a bit much. The windows were sound proof and the central location could not be better. I was met and given the keys and lots of helpful advise. Very pleasant hosts. Good size apartment. Very comfortable. I liked everything. Would stay here again.

• Angelo (10/5): - L'appartamento (camera da letto e soggiorno -cucina con bagno) è al Capo, con balconcini che si affacciano sui banchi del caratteristico e antichissimo mercato, nel quartiere rimasto a mio avviso più autentico del centro di Palermo, fuori dall'invasione turistica, ma a poca distanza da tutti i luoghi di interesse. Nel tardo pomeriggio, di sera e di notte è anche una zona silenziosa e comunque i vetri insonorizzati proteggono, volendo, dai rumori del mercato la mattina. La signora Nunzia e suo marito sono gentilissimi e disponibili per ogni informazione. Un prezioso punto di riferimento a Palermo Tutto perfetto

Jedyny minus to brak świeżej gąbeczki do mycia naczyń.To w sumie nic ważnego, ale trzeba było szukać supermarketu i tracić czas.

• MARIA ANTONIETTA (8/5): Contatto quotidiano piacevole con il mercato "Il Capo" - La posizione è perfetta per raggiungere in autonomia, anche a piedi, i luoghi, monumenti e attrazioni più rinomate. I proprietari, molto gentilmente, hanno atteso il nostro arrivo in struttura nonostante il ritardo di circa due ore del volo e ci hanno fornito indicazioni sui luoghi da visitare. L'appartamento si trova a ridosso del mercato "Il Capo" molto colorato e autentico, con la possibilità di acquistare frutta fresca ogni giorno, con tanto street food e alcuni ristorantini. La cucina, con divano letto, non è dotata di porta e dà su un disimpegno nel quale si affaccia la camera da letto la cui parete divisoria non arriva al soffitto. Sicuramente non è un problema per chi viaggia in coppia ma potrebbe essere poco confortevole se si usano i letti di entrambe le stanze (quello della camera e quello della cucina).

Unsere Gastgeber akzeptierten einen Check-in um Mitternacht und waren auch sonst immer für uns da. Zur Hälfte unseres Aufenthalts wurde das Apartment nach einer Woche sogar kostenfrei zwischengereinigt. Lediglich die Dusche ist ein wenig eng ausgefallen

• Ruli Das (9/5): Clean and comfortable apartment in the heart of Palermo. - The owners, an elderly couple waited for us to reach despite our flight being delayed. We were shown how everything works, - keys, gadgets et al. Well appointed apartment, very clean and tastefully done up. Comfortable in every way. It would help to have some clothes hooks or racks in the bathroom. AC only in the bedroom, the kitchen cum dining- sitting room may not be comfortable in summer.

One floor up overlooking the Mercado Capo, but with very good sound insulating windows in the balcony doors - it was silent at night 😀. Bed was comfy and the air conditioning worked, although I didn’t need it. The shower cabinet was very cramped to the point that it was difficult to bend over, and there was no non-skid protection in the shower.

• Diane (9/5): A really lovely apartment in a great location - Our lovely second floor apartment, accessed by a lift, is located in the vibrant Mercato del Capo and an easy walk away from the Palmero Cathedral and other attractions. The apartment has been renovated, is very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. It was also very quiet. The hosts Nunzia and Giovanni were superb and very helpful to us. We arrived in the late afternoon by taxi and had a short walk from the Piazza at the top of the street to our apartment, which was very early to find.

My ferry was delayed over 12 hours and I didn't arrive until after 1am but the hosts graciously met me at the apartment, took the time to give me the rundown on the apartment and also the neighborhood and tourist spots at 1am in the morning. Very very kind of them and I appreciated it.

Possibility to buy fresh fish, seafood and vegetables, fruits every day, priceless. There is a supermarket nearby (super equipped), a bakery around the corner and a bus stop. Close to the center on foot, literally a few minutes. Well, the location is simply PERFECT. The district is bustling with life, but it's quiet in the apartment. We highly recommend it.
• Rebecca (10/5): Amazing find in the center of a crazy Macato! - What a find! Pull up outside the front of the markets and our host meets us. We head into the amazing chaos of Macatos. This apartment is in the centre of it all and it is amazing, to hearing the bells at night and the vendor calls during the day. Yes they have double glazed, If you are not into noise the slight smell of fish and lots of people with the random DJ session out front then this is not for you!. Great location to walk everywhere, we were in off season so there were a few less restaurants open but still plenty around. The apartment has a lift which is a bonus, Nunzio and Giovani are just the cutest couple ever and we wanted to take them home, Anything we asked for was not a problem! The apartment building is 300yrs old so don't expect all the fancy trimmings, she has everything you need to cook, yes the shower is small but its fine. The little balcony overlooking the Macato is so gorgeous and sitting outside with your coffee watching it all is truly amazing way to start your holiday.

The apartment was fully equipped and spotless. Very comfortable and affordable stay in the heart of the Il Capo market. It was within walking distance to all the sights. Especially grateful for the info to grab the airport shuttle bus from Piazza Ruggiero Settimo that runs every 30min from 330am. Everything was wonderful. Zero complaints.

Nunzia arranged the airport transfer for us for a very good price and it was very reliable. The flat was quiet and very clean. Every question was answered and I recommend Residence II Capo. Nunzia and her husband spent a long time showing all the main sites on the map they gave us and offered coffee and water for when we just arrived. We felt very welcomed and looked after. • Robyn (10/5): An ideally situated apartment, well appointed, and with very welcoming hosts! - The apartment is conveniently situated in a fascinating and vibrant area of Palermo and an easy walk from the ferry terminal. Our hosts Nunzia and Giovanni were extremely genuine and kind, giving us a map with many tips for places to visit. Our arrival on the morning ferry was several hours before the check-in time, yet they managed to arrange an early check-in for us, which we greatly appreciated! Our apartment was decorated with lovely local touches, pictures, etc, which made it a very welcoming place to stay. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning was effective. The building is secure, well signposted, and easy to find. We had an upstairs back apartment, which we found pleasantly quiet, despite the bustling market in the street in front of the building. The stalls of the famous Il Capo market are a marvelous source of fresh local vegetables and fish. We enjoyed cooking simple and delicious meals in our small but fully functional kitchen. As moderately fit people, we found the city of Palermo easily walkable. Due to the uneven street surfaces, sturdy, covered, walking shoes are a 'must'. In hindsight, we wished we'd booked our excellent 'local guide' much earlier in our stay, since we learned so much more about the history, culture, and great restaurant tips etc from him as we explored the city together. Altogether a wonderful accommodation experience. We recommend it! Nothing serious! It was great. Perhaps a couple of the kitchen utensils could benefit from replacement or maintenance, but the apartment was perfect for our needs.

The location of accommodation is very good, market in the nearby street and Palermo is full of historical momunents, buildings, churches - it is amazing!

The owner couple are very kind to meet me at the Corner of the street when I can’t find the building. There is a fishy smell (because of the market?). Maybe it is normal living there. The microwave seems not working. The heater for bath only lasted for 10 mins, then needed to shut off then turned it on. I feel the facility is old.

The charming hostess gave me a detailed advisory of places i had to visit. The apartment was nice and cosy and very well equipped. Anything you might need to shop for is only a short walk away. I loved Palermo in general, a small thing really, but i could have done with a a clothes iron and ironing board,... but hey not the end of the world

• Jakub (10/5): I will certainly recommend the place for my friends and family, perfect location and price. - The size of the room was perfect, small and compact - great for those who came to Palermo for sightseeing and spending time outside. For those who preferred to cook by themselves, kitched was prepared with all tools needed. Shower cabin was a bit tight, but perfectly clean. For those who have trouble getting stairs there is a lift.
