• Michael (10/5): Super Lage direkt am Strand ein Traum👍👍👍 - Wir hatten die Suite am Meer und das ist wirklich ein Traum hier am Meer. Besonders am Morgen aufzustehen und direkt der Strand vor der Tür. In dem Zimmer war der Geruch ein wenig streng.

Tucked away between two imposing buildings is this little hideaway with easy beach access. A step back in time in a really cool way. The hostess is lovely and welcoming. Not a fault of the property but eww…Florida love bugs everywhere at this time of year. Annoying little critters!

Very strong bleach odor in our room, which to us is not a sign of cleanliness since the kitchen was certainly dirty mainly the stove, the oven, the refrigerator. The bathroom is so small for such a huge room and the AC is extremely noisy.

• Linda (10/5): Exactly what I wanted and needed for a 5 day solo getaway to recharge. - I loved this little treasure tucked between two multi-story condos. Room was cozy and clean, the grounds were well-kept, staff was super friendly at check-in. There was an assortment of beach chairs and boogie boards available for guests to use. My favorite thing was the assortment of chairs overlooking the ocean and beach, and the feeling of 1950s nostalgia at this sweet spot.

• Clifford (10/5): Loved this hotel and hope to stay there again. - The little apartment was exceptionally clean. How they keep the floors so completely free of sand, I don't know. We were blown away by how a vintage property like this can be kept up so well, both inside and out. We loved the short walk to the beach without crossing a road, the proximity to restaurants, the chairs with pillows outside our door. The apartment had everything we needed and more -- including coffee, creamer and sweetener. There was plenty of parking, with just a short walk to our door. Plenty of clean towels were provided, and the shower had great water pressure. There are cute touches with the decor, such as the light switch in the living room, which had a beach scene on it. We loved being greeted by the adorable dachshund. There is a little tiki hut for shade, a BBQ pit, and chairs at beach front, as well as an outside shower to wash sand off your feet and body. We really loved the quaint hotel, the location, the price, and the quiet, relaxingl environment. I would bring my own pillow next time. Our choice was a very thin pillow and an exceptionally fat one. Neither was comfortable for me. We could not get the TV in the bedroom to work at all. There are so many remote controls! It would be great if instructions for operating the TV's were provided. To us, the window air conditioners were loud; however, there were ceiling fans. The was a sign in the kitchen stating that if we don't wash our own dishes, they will charge us $23.
• Kendra (10/5): Best Hidden Gem Getaway! - This place is such a hidden gem!!! Rooms were so clean and plenty of room for my family of 4. The staff was so friendly showed us around the property and to our room. The rooms have window units so I was nervous it would be hot but it was perfect! Everything about this place was amazing, we have family nearby so this will definitely be our go to spot from now on. Next time we hope to rent the king suite! Such a good place for all, family vacation, romantic vacation, or a solo get away. Only thing I can think of was there was no stopper for the tub for my son to take a bath but we made it work. Not the end of the world.

Great full kitchen and plenty of space in the room. We just happened to be traveling during the Florida cold snap and while they did have space heaters we were only able to use one without the breaker tripping.

Well it was our first time, we didn’t notice right away the name of the motel, better it should be more visible during night time, because our experienced we arrived midnight the uber driver asked us if it was the place, we said we don’t know yet, so the driver just parked and we were not really sure we just got out from the uber and my husband said it was the place because he remembered how it looked like in the picture. I was thinking what if it is not, the uber was gone. For me It really helps if the name of the place is really noticeable even you are still minutes before you arrive.

The room was a bit hot, and we found a monster roach, but we are in Florida and that's not 100% in their control. The location of the room was perfect. They provided pots, pans, cups and beach chairs. We had a great time! The wifi was really bad.
• Robert (8/5): The Sea Scape Motel is a great value that had everything you could want. It's right on the beach. - The Sea Scape Motel was excellent! It is a classic old style beach motel with very clean rooms and everything that you might need for the beach. There were beach chairs, beach towels, and even fishing rods for surf fishing. The room didn't have any musty or stale smell at all! I was very pleased with the value and will stay there again soon! I had no complaints. The rooms are old, but the furniture is nice. The mattress was comfortable and I slept great. I enjoyed seeing all the geckos in the gardens around the motel.

• Robert (10/5): This is a great boutique motel located on the beach at a good price! - This was my second stay in this wonderful boutique motel. It was very clean and comfortable. I liked the bed. The room had everything you could need. Being right on the beach, they provide chairs for the beach and even fishing rods! A great value. I have no complaints.

• Deborah (8/5): Sweet little Florida Beach stay - The property’s decor is very beachy and well loved. Pink building and blue walkways, sweet beachy decor throughout. Walkway and stairs down to the beach is right next to the property. There’s an area to wash off sandy feet. There are outdoor tables and lounge chairs to sit and watch the ocean. The room itself was very small. It had a damp smell to it that seemed to dissipate after we had the air conditioner on “dry” for a while. The kitchen area had a microwave, toaster, small fridge, coffee maker and basic plates bowls utensils. The room did feel pretty tight (ie small) for two people. As a single person, I could see enjoying a longer stay there. The owner was very friendly and personable. It was great for an overnight as we explored down the coast.

And the ocean view lounge backyard area is really nice. Can’t wait to return. It would be nice if there was a drinking water filter in the fridge, in case you didn’t buy/pack water. Not sure if the tap water is drinkable. That’s my only feedback. Just a suggestion, not a complaint.

Close to many attractions including Backwater breakfast and lunch restaurant. Free parking. I definitely will go back. The ridiculous drivers on 35mph A1A driving at 45-50 mph. Not the hotels fault.
