• JULIAN (10/5): An oasis of calm in a bustling town - Our room was huge with everything we needed - quite private outside space, some dishes and a place to wash them up, air conditioning (not needed as the buildings seem to keep pleasantly cool even when sunny. The staff are all very friendly and helpful - it has a family feel. The breakfast had a good selection of sweet and savoury food and the gardens where you have breakfast, where the bar is and where you can rest and relax during the day are just fabulous - lovely plants and trees, shade and sunshine, so quiet and restful. The location is excellent - a very short walk to town and the port along a pedestrian path, but much quieter than town. Some people might consider the rooms a bit dated, but they are clean and fully functional, very comfortable so it's really not a problem unless you feel you must have modern furnishings and decor.

• Tiana (4/5): - It was close to the main streets of Parikia and the port, the staff were pleasant. The room did not get cleaned our entire stay, however, on the second day of our stay it was evident that someone had entered our room. The room was generally unclean when we entered and we would not walk bare foot on the floors and there were lots of bugs. The hotel itself was difficult to locate and get to with luggage. We felt unsafe during our stay especially after our room was entered when we weren’t there. The biggest faults would be that there was no cleaning service, which is specially off-putting as you can’t flush toilet paper on the island and that we felt unsafe.

• Brooks (6/5): Pleasant hotel in delightful setting, but minimal comforts and amenities. - Location is very convenient for exploring the town. It's quiet and in a very pleasant garden setting. Room quiet with a nice little terrace to sit and enjoy. Very pleasant staff. Everything is done on a minimal basis. We even had to make the bed, as the mattress had a sheet cover but the top sheet was folded on top for us to do. No other cover, and as nights were getting a little cool, we had to ask for a light blanket or quilt. Breakfast was the bare minimum they could get away with, just a few plates of pre-sliced bread, some biscuits, a cake and a couple of jams and honey, placed on a narrow shelf. Only one fruit, cut up in a bowl covered with cling film.
• Werner (5/5): - Kurzer Weg zum Hafen Die Beschreibung von bockig com entsprach nicht der Wirklichkeit. Ein Balkon mit Gartenblick liegt nicht im Keller sondern mindestens in einem oberen Stock. Wir hatten eine wenig einladende Terrasse im Keller mit Blick auf eine Betonwand.

• Marta (8/5): Un sitio muy agradable - Ubicación estupenda, al lado de un parking público (genial para dejar el coche, ambiente quizá un poco raro por la noche), pero a 2 min de todo el centro de Parikia. El sitio tiene mucho encanto, es muy agradable, y el personal es amable. Todas las habitaciones tienen un espacio exterior con una mesita, dos sillas y espacio para tender, muy bien. No hay mosquiteras en las habitaciones y entran mosquitos y demás insectos, como es normal.

Salle de bain vétuste, propreté à revoir car il y avait un nid de fourmi dans la chambre et pleins d’araignées dans les coins de l’appartement
• Robert Johansson (8/5): Centralt belägen liten pärla med brister. - Enkel frukost med det som förväntas samt god nybakad mjuk kaka varje dag, bra kaffe. Hotellet har en innegård som ger möjlighet till avkoppling. Bar var öppen mellan 18 och 22 varje dag. Det rum vi erbjöds när vi bokade genom Booking är slitet och beläget i källaren och har lättare fuktproblem och med uteplats mot "trädgården" som var en totalt igenvuxen avgränsad yta. Rummets låga placering gör att det drar in avgaser utifrån via ventilation i badrummet. Bad rumsfönstret ligger direkt mot markplan längs gatan så ljud och insyn garanteras. Rummets TV fungerade inte utan visade endast "No Signal" och när vi påpekade detta skickades en städerska att åtgärda problemet, dock hade hon ingen kunskap om TV:n och dess kanal justering så problemet förblev olöst. Det fanns brister i städningen men enligt den information vi fick var personalen underbemannade.

• Katherine (10/5): Incredible and charming - It was this beautiful hidden garden. It was in an incredible location. I stayed at 3 places in Parikia and this was the best. It had charm. It was cute. I absolutely loved it.

• Thomas (10/5): Ideal property on Paros for the laid-back type - We loved this little hotel on a side street in the town of Parikia, Paros, Greece. Convenient to ferries, buses,, taxis, and rental cars with public parking less than 100 m away (through very busy). Easy to travel all over the island and the bus service is excellent. It is quaint and comfy with a beautiful garden that has breakfast in the AM (for a fee) and a bar at night. If you like a small homey places, this is perfect.

Il giardino curato dove puoi rilassarti o fare una piacevole colazione.Tutto lo staff molto gentile e sorridente! La posizione ottima, a pochi passi dal centro ma comunque silenzioso. Ottima esperienza !

• JO (9/5): Great little hotel in a fab location. No frills but friendly staff. - Cute little courtyard for evening drinks. We didn't have breakfast. Our crossing was cancelled on the way back to Mykonos and the hotel owners tried to help and were happy to let us hang around to sort something out. Very friendly. Location superb. Rooms a little old and dated but did the job. My son's room did not have a sheet on the bed though and he didn't realise till bedtime and the hotel is not manned 24/7 so had nothing to sleep under.

• Emily (3/5): Charming location does not make up for lack of amenities - Location can't be beat for arriving to/from port and bouncing around Parikia, and the staff are all wonderful, friendly and hospitable. The community courtyard with evening happy hour is very quaint and comfortable. We stayed in a 2-bed apartment and on arrival were struck by the lack of space, natural light, and amenities which did not live up to the photos or pleasant reviews. The shower was in a state of disrepair with cracked tile and there were ants crawling the bathroom. We were four adults traveling with checked luggage and the rooms were so tight there was no space to stow our bags, which then took up the entire living space. The place was advertised as having AC and Wifi -- this meant a single split AC unit in one of the bedrooms which did not cool any other part of the space, leaving the other bedroom with only a standing fan; the property also polices use of the AC while you are out, so we returned daily to stifling temperatures. Meanwhile the Wifi only reached the living area, and constantly cut in and out around the hotel. We were quite uncomfortable for the duration of our stay and even considered leaving. Sadly cannot recommend for a group.

• Carmen María (9/5): Joyful experience! - It is a spacious apartment. It has a beautiful charming patio where you can enjoy your breakfast if you pay €12. The location couldn’t be better. It is located in the very center of Paros but it isn’t in a crowded street. The second day we hadn’t enough shampoo/gel because they didn’t restock it.

• Bonnie (9/5): We wanted a quaint, classically Greek Isle vibe and we got it! - It was charming. The courtyard, where we had breakfast, was delightful. The breakfast itself was really good. We stayed in a family apartment, with two bedrooms, a kitchenette and sitting room. The location was a short walk from the shopping, restaurants, and port yet was on a quiet street. The shower was really small, but that wasn’t a big deal for us.

Breakfast was very good. Very Expensive and the quality of the room was not good. Smelly room like moldy, bathroom didn't have a proper shower, wifi is not very good. Kitchen was not well equipped.
