Sometimes I book directly, other times via Expedia, depending on the season—but no matter how I book, the experience is always perfection. From the staff to the property and facilities, everything is consistently excellent. The pool and wait staff are true highlights—you can’t help but feel in a sunshine state of mind. The food is great, cocktails are spot on, and housekeeping provides an impeccable service. At Seven, you want for nothing… except for more time, because you’ll never want your holiday to end. For me, it’s a must, whether in low season or high season, and I return 3–4 times a year for pure R&R. I’ll be back again and again.

This place was really welcoming for gay men wanting to enjoy a holiday in nice quality surroundings and atmosphere! We had one of the two villas with its own pool and hot tub, which I would thoroughly recommend and use again! We will be back! Taxis to the main area in GC are quick and cheap. A classy place from start to finish!

- Robert (10/5): Amazing stay. Best hotel in GC - The best gay hotel I've stayed in and one of the best hotels overall. The place is great, really relaxing and friendly. The rooms are really comfortable and beautifully decorated and also very well maintained and cleaned and the staff really are amazing. I lost my wallet in the taxi from the airport and the staff managed to track down the driver from my credit card and arranged for him to bring the wallet back, and all without even asking, they volunteered to do it. The restaurant is also very good, probably the best meals I had in Gran Canaria. I really can't recommend the place enough.

The resort is conveniently located away from the noise of the main streets, but only a few minutes drive will take you to the action. The facilities have everything you need, and the rooms are big and modern. The restaurant buffet serves a good selection for breakfast with the option to order from the kitchen and the bar at the same time. A hidden gem to put on your to do list!

Eten is uitstekend en vooral het personeel zorgt voor een heerlijk verblijf. Iedereen is zeer vriendelijk en servicegericht. Niets is te veel. Faciliteiten waren in goede conditie en schoon. - Greg (10/5): Highly recommend - The entire holiday was stunning from start to finish. The hotel was exactly like the pictures; spotlessly clean and well maintained. Every member of staff was kind and friendly and the guests we encountered on our stay were all friendly and chatty, we both felt so comfortable as soon as we arrived. Many of the guests we spoke to return often and we could see why. Food at the hotel is delicious, so if you don’t feel like venturing out to a nearby Spanish restaurant (of which there are many) you’ll know the meal at the hotel will be amazing… as are the drinks! It’s a 25 minute walk to town (yumbo etc) and a little further to the beach, which is welcomed after a day of lying in the sun. Taxis back were only a couple of Euros. We would highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a quiet, safe space where you can switch off from the world and truly relax.

- PHIL (8/5): Great, but needs more attention to detail. - Checked in for 5 nights (wanted to stay a week but it was fully booked for the first two nights of the trip due to the end of Winter Pride). Upon checking in we were told they were hosting a pool party, which we hadn’t been informed about during booking. So there was reduced facilities available for that day, and a very overpriced bar in operation. On two days the room was not cleaned or the mini bar restocked, despite the ‘clean room’ card being on the door. Staff at the bar/restaurant were very friendly and helpful, but on several days the service was painfully slow, orders being forgotten or taking ages to arrive, and it was very clear that they were understaffed. Having stayed here twice before I know this is not the usual standard to expect, and I would be very hesitant to book again when there is a major event going on In Maspalomas. It was also not fair that we were paying a elevated room price for the first night when we had very limited facilities due to the pool party, and after speaking to several other guests it was clear that they also had not been informed prior to arrival either. The hotel however is still one of the best in town, and the friendliness of the staff is second to none, however management really need to make sure that they are adequately supported so they can A) do their jobs effectively and B) make more money and allow guests to order freely.

- Marnix (10/5): Picture perfect hotel for gay travellers - Friendly attentive staff, good facilities - outdoor gym, jacuzzi, sauna and swimming pools... We stayed for lunch and dinner a few times and the food in the restaurant was excellent, much better than most places in the Yumbo centre for sure! Location wise we liked it not too close to the party central (still within walking distance). We drove to beaches and the mountains quite easily as well. We are already looking forward to coming back again in the future.
- MICHAEL (10/5): Nice place to stay. - Nice. The location is a short and inexpensive taxi ride away from the main attractions of Maspalomas (about 5 euros to the beach or the Yumbo). The rooms are all-white and could have done with a bit of colour and the lighting was a little harsh. Apart from that, it was a nice place to stay, the staff are helpful and pleasant, and the facilities are good.

The main thing is that the staff are very friendly and welcoming, taking time to have a conversation with guests. The room was a good size and decent size shower. The outdoor breakfast/dining space was very nice especially in the evening time. The pool area and surrounding are just right for the number of guests that the hotel caters for. I would say the only downside is that you cannot walk to the beach however there is a free bus and taxi was only about €4 one way. Yumbo Centre is about 20-25 minutes walk.

- Bateman (10/5): RELAX - Fell into a lovely relaxation routine between the bed, the restaurant, pool and gym. Great weather in early September. Not to hot, not too cold; just right, said Goldilocks to the three bears.
- James (10/5): Simply excellent - Truly the best gay hotel on the island. Amazing venue, great staff and first class service. Menu could perhaps be a little healthier with rice offered instead of fried potatoes but that’s minor detail. Cannot wait to return.
- Neil (10/5): Our 'go to' place for chilling out - This was our third visit to this hotel in one year. Needless to say, we already made enquiries about our next visit before we checked out. Our experience here has always been positive. The staff are welcoming, friendly and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms and general facilities of the hotel are well appointed, clean and offered everything we needed for a relaxing break away from it all. Breakfast buffets offered plentiful hot and cold choices. Courses for dinner were selected from a menu, though in addition themed buffets and a barbecue were offered on certain nights. The daytime bar menu also offered a good selection of meals and snacks The beach/dunes, a choice of shopping, restaurants and nightlife, should you need them, are only a brief, inexpensive, taxi ride away.
- Simon (10/5): Lovely modern hotel - We loved our stay here, modern, clean with a chilled out vibe, the breakfast was delicious, swimming pool perfect and such friendly staff, can't fault anything other than a few rooms have a small cramped outdoor area and you have to pass closely to other guests areas to get to them.
- Zachary (10/5): Great stay at Seven Hotel - Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, modern and and spacious rooms with really comfortable beds. Loved the breakfast buffet, which included many cold and hot options. Really nice facilities with massage rooms, dry sauna, outdoor gym, pool, hot tub.... Also loved the design of the beautiful grounds, which are intimate (allowing you to meet people) but also allow for privacy. Highly recommended! Will definitely stay her the next time I come to Gran Canaria.

The cleaning of the room was a little bit of a hit and miss as they forgot to change my towels when they were due and twice the used coffee mugs and tea spoons had been left unwashed. Apart from this, everything else was great.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Relaxing week - Amazing and relaxed stay at the hotel. Small enough for individual attention from the staff of the hotel. The rooms were decorated with a minimalist approach but still inviting. The food service was outstanding, however there were some refreshments that they could have provided for free (€2 for a glass of water??). The pool was clean, cool and relaxing. Overall it was a great stay and I would visit again.

The staff is super friendly and professional and so is the atmosphere of the hotel. We loved our room, just in front of the swimming pool. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed and relaxed the whole week. Even if full booked the hotel wasn’t packed ... a true wellness centre. The staff is always friendly and respectful and ready to help you if needed. Food and drinks are really good too.
- Godoy (10/5): It is One of THE BEST GAY HOTELS ON THE PLANET! - I did book at last minute for Carnaval in Las Palmas and I was sceptical about, and what my surprise when I found an amazingly beautiful propriety, what a great service and super clean and proper with all facilities and the staff amazingly friendly and helpful.I HIGH RECOMMEND that Gay Hotel. All the clients there were very happy as me and I did have a great time and for sure I will come back often as I can. The Hotel is well located at Playa del Ingles, where the gay area is an easy access from the Airport. GREAT HOTEL / GREAT PEOPLE / HIGH RECOMMEND ;) . Godoy Vasconcellos .

- Verified traveler (8/5): Wonderful facilities and service - First time stayed here (thought I would indulge). The complex itself was lovely, very new, impressive and the service was excellent (particularly helpful after a much delayed flight home). Breakfast and dinner dining was very good too. The room I had was minimalist (make if that what you will). My only negative point was despite daily cleaners, the room never felt as clean as I would like. I would return here but would upgrade next time.
