• Geoffrey (1/5): - Nothing totally dissatisfied. Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and far below expectations. From arrival to departure, there were numerous issues that made our stay uncomfortable and stressful. Firstly, there were no staff available to assist with luggage on arrival, which immediately gave a poor first impression. Several members of staff were sarcastic, dismissive, and appeared to look down on guests, which felt extremely rude and unprofessional. Reception staff were often using their mobile phones whilst dealing with customer issues, making guests feel ignored and unimportant. The hotel also requested a 1000 Baht deposit, which was unexpected and poorly explained. In addition, when we required an extra room, there was no discounted rate offered — in fact, it was more expensive than our original room. Health and safety standards were concerning. Breakfast food was regularly cold, raising serious concerns regarding food hygiene and possible food poisoning risks. Wet floors were left without any caution signs, creating dangerous slip hazards. The hotel is also not disabled friendly, with far too many unsafe stairs and difficult access throughout the property. Room cleaning was consistently late, which caused inconvenience throughout our stay. The pool area had no visible lifeguards, which is worrying from a safety perspective. One of the worst aspects was the excessive noise. There was an extremely loud party held in the dining room from 6:00pm until approximately 1:30am, making it almost impossible to relax or sleep. To make matters worse, the reception desk is oddly located inside the restaurant area, creating chaos, noise, and a complete lack of professionalism. Overall, this was a very poor experience with disappointing customer service, questionable safety standards, and little consideration for guest comfort. Sadly, we would not return or recommend this hotel.

• Lily (5/5): Go stay somewhere else for the same price… - Pool was okay (although enter at your own risk as there is a chance you’ll turn green haha). Comfortable bed. Breakfast was decent. The place feels quite tired overall - rooms could do with a proper deep clean and the reception area is in need of a serious update. You can stay in much nicer places on the island for cheaper. Also would advise against booking a garden room, we moved out of ours pretty quickly after finding mosquitoes on the walls and bed. Originally when mentioning to reception initially she lied and told us nothing else was available, which turned out not to be true, though a lovely gent did chime in and sort us out with a better room upstairs.

It's luxurious and pleasant to have a plate of fruits in the fridge. The staff is kind, pleasant, patient and very hardworking. The best part of the hotel!! The cleaners arrived very late in the day (5pm) and actually didn't clean the room but just emptied the bins. Asian breakfast with a large selection. Very basic Western breakfast.

• josephdA4634RX (4/5): Just okay, not too good with customer service and lack of emergency accommodation. - The hotel staff are not very friendly; they don't speak a whole lot of English. Room was okay, clean but need to be upgraded. They need to have First Aid supplies to accommodate unexpected accidents. I was cut very deep by the rocks under the water from swimming, but the hotel didn't have any first aid supplies to stop the bleeding. Luckily the ladies who worked on the beach helped me by giving me antibacterial medicine and Betadine to stop the bleeding. There was a very rude young lady who served at the egg station at breakfast. She wasn't friendly and didn't have a smile on her face. She was short and rude to many customers. I am not sure she was half asleep or didn't sleep enough, but she looked really unpleasant and unhappy.

• DrNo561 (7/5): Schöne und an sich ruhige Unterkunft - Die Lage war sehr gut, vom Straßenlärm hat man nichts mitbekommen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend und abwechslungsreich. Die Zimmer hatten eine angenehme Größe. Dass der Pool, an dem sich das Frühstücksbuffet befand, schon ab 09:00 Uhr mit lärmenden Kindern bevölkert war. Die dazugehörigen Eltern interessierte das nicht, hauptsache sie hatten ihre Ruhe und konnten sich ihren Mobiltelefon widmen. Auch das Personal griff nicht ein.

• Richard (9/5): Heerlijk - Dit was de 2e keer dat we in Samed Pavillion Resort verbleven. De eerste keer was zo goed bevallen dat ik pas na het boeken de reviews ging lezen. Ik schrok van een aantal uitgesproken nefatieve reviews, maar gelukkig bleek daar helemaal niets van waar te zijn. De kamer is mooi en ruim met een goed verzorgde badkamer. Iedere dag wordt de kamer schoongemaakt en iedere keer krijg je schone handdoeken. Er zijn ook badhanddoeken voor op het strand beschikbaar, die je ook iedere kunt kunt omruilen. Het ontbijtbuffet is goed met veel vers fruit. En vooral het Aziatisch buffet is heel gevarieerd. Het personeel is aardig en attent. Het hotel is op loopafstand (6 minuten) van een mooi strandje (dat iedere dag wordt schoongemaakt) met lekkere strandbedden (100 Bath per dag) en een heerlijk warme zee. Nogmaals, ik begrijp de negatieve reacties niet. Oké, het hotel is duurder dan de andere hitels die we op onze reis in Thailand hebben gehad, maar hierbij moet je wel in ogenschouw nemen dat je op een mooi tropisch eiland zit. Dit is natuurlijk kostenverhogend.

Første natten hadde vi rom i kjelleren, som helt klart var fuktskadet. Elendig luft og forferdelig lukt. Renholdet var generelt dårlig. Bassenget farget badetøy grønt. Var kakerlakk på rommet, som vi ikke fikk drept før dagen etterpå. Masse termitter.

There is a small but nice swimming pool and a small one for children. The rooms ( double) were spacious with separate good sized bathroom and shower. Internet was generally OK. Trips can be organised from reception and are same cost as in town. Hire a bike for 400 b a day or use the bus for around 30 b Lovely beach though all the beaches on this little island are lovely Location is great for restaurants and bars massages and little shops Recommended both the hotel and the island

• Michael (1/5): Dårligt hotel! Dejlige strande. - Intet. Stedet er i voldsomt forfald. Alt er slidt og beskidt. Poolen ikke mindst. Mange defekte installationer og gulvafløb der ikke virker ordentligt. Morgenmaden er elendig og personalet er sløve og uengageret. At give stedet 4 stjerner er ligeså stærkt misvisende som billederne. Nul stjerner havde været passende. Besøg hellere nabohotellet eller hotellerne ud til stranden ved Prao Beach!

• Peter (6/5): Quite disappointing - Good location, very close to the beach. Family room was okay, but nothing more than that. Reception area where the breakfast also took place is a bit shabby with broken plastic chairs around dirty tables. The pool is actually okay, but it has some kind of metallic stuff in it which makes your skin and hair green (no joke). Breakfast is very average and basic and only the egg chef makes up for it. Housekeeping came very late some days (around 6pm) which is not acceptable as we came home from the beach and needed clean towels.

• Danny (8/5): Samed Pavilion Resort – Koh Samet - I had high expectations for Samed Pavilion Resort given the price, but unfortunately, I left feeling underwhelmed. There were basic issues — no napkins, no toilet paper, and the room was not made up even hours later. For one of the most expensive hotels I’ve ever paid for, I genuinely struggled to see where the value was. The property itself is beautiful and very close to the beach, which is a big plus. The staff were also very nice and polite. My issue isn’t with the people — it’s with the value. I typically stay in hostels or budget hotels, and this was one of the rare times I decided to pay more. I expected a noticeable upgrade in experience and didn’t feel that it delivered. Seems overpriced for what it offers.

• Andreasen (8/5): - Hotellet ligger rigtig godt placeret, dejligt roligt på hotellet og meget kort til strand og hyggelige restauranter i strandkanten. Der er liv om aftenen og muligheder for store og små. Nemt at komme til mad, massage og strand. Nemt at booke tuktuk'er til andre strander, havnen osv. Specielt Ao Prao kan anbefales, den skønneste og stille strand med vand der er velegnet til småbørn, den smukkeste solnedgang over havet og restauranter med god mad og happy hour på mock-/cocktails kan anbefales. Lidt mange trapper hvis man har klapvognen med, men det gik også fint. Flinkt personale til at give en hånd med hvis man havde brug det for :)

(Охрана не чем помочь не может) - просить одеяло пришлось 4 раза. -посредственный завтрак -на завтраке стаканы пахнут грязной тряпкой -на завтраке персонал трогает панкейки руками без перчаток - грязные столы. -отсутствие мыла и зубных щёток

• maggiemuller (2/5): NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL!!! - Only one word can describe this hotel “AWFULL” - the rooms, the breakfast, the facilities and the staff!!! The rooms are so disgusting and everything smells like mold and damped. We had to change rooms but they didn’t understand why and the next room was the same… then we tried the breakfast and it got all worse. Buffet is filled with flies also in the food containers! And there is no restaurants. It’s just tables around in the reception. When we thought it couldn’t get worse we had to leave early because of and health emergency back home in Denmark and here we were promised by the staff that we could get a refund - were told by the staff “Wan” and “Nood” but had to do it through the site Agoda.com where we booked it but were stille promised. I have now since the 2nd of February when we had to leave been in contact with them because the hotel denied our refund multiple times…so now it seems like we don’t get our money back!!! I’m so angry but they don’t do anything. Don’t answer on emails or anything. It’s so so bad and I’m so frustrated. This have been going on for weeks now. So my recommendation NEVER EVER book at this place.
• Kirsten (7/5): Fint hotel - tæt på strand - Ok hotel tæt på stranden - som dog var forbeholdt nabo hotellet - men 1 min gang ned af stranden så var den offentlig. Morgenmads restauranten var lidt overfyldt første dag vi var der. Skulle vente på strandhåndklæder. De kunne godt have være på værelserne.

• Sarah (8/5): Good budget stay - Loved the easy access to the beach, great restaurants near by and towels at reception for the beach!! Mould in the shower of room B103 breakfast wasn't great at all we ended up eating out at a different restaurant
