A 4 rather than a 5 as bathroom on the small side and whilst free coffee you have to go off site for breakfast. Nice restaurant for lunch or dinner.

Doesnt get any better than that, even on a rainy day. hubbys bday - ordered some treats for our arrival, mishap of not being there, but apology and made it happen asap. music at pool in the evening, nice touch but a little loud and you cant get away from it if you just want to read a book or take an afternoon nap in your room. rooms are lovely, super comfy beds. helpful staff. but be advised no bell hops for luggage and there are stairs to climb depending on which room you get. LOVED the firepits, just wish they were allowed to be on longer than 10pm. thank you to Tajae & Ivy & all the ppl who just greeted us or asked to help us in any way.

• RANA (8/5): - We had a great stay. The property and location directly on the beach was exquisite. The fire pits and lounging sofas facing the ocean were really nice. All the restaurants on site from pool side to the roof top were more than excellent. The only downside was that they did not offer any kind of breakfast service despite having several kitchens on site. Even a basic continental type breakfast would have been appropriate. The rooms are spacious and nice, but have no phone or a safe. Cleanliness was average, but could be improved ( furniture was dusty, there was a used contact lens dried up on the bedside table, bathroom had hair from prior customers in shower). The staff were all very friendly and met our request for extra water or coffee whenever we asked. This resort can be transformed from good to spectacular with some minor improvements.

• Thomas (10/5): - Wonderful property, great beach area, great view of the ocean lit a fire on the beach where the fire pits with wood and paper are located - great night for a fire. later in the evening told to put the fire out - something about getting permission - should probably have some signage around area regarding fires and usage. Not a huge deal
• ashleigh (6/5): Only visit during peak season - The resorts was amazing to set up some birthday decorations for my moms 60th birthday ahead of time. It was much appreciated! However, I wouldn’t recommend staying here on off-peak season. It was a little underwhelming as the hot tub was not set up, no fire pits, no cushions in chairs and overall just kind of underwhelming. Next time I will know to book during peak season. We missed it by one week!

• Holly (6/5): - The room we stayed in had a gorgeous view of the pool and the ocean but it wasn’t cleaned properly prior to our check in. There were chips from a previous guest on our nightstand, the toilet paper roll was almost empty so they didn’t change that and makes me question how well the bathroom was cleaned in general. Our mini fridge also never got cold. We put some drinks in there Friday at check in (3pm) and when we checked out the next morning they were still completely warm. We adjusted the knob to make it colder and that still did nothing. The restaurant had gorgeous views but the food took forever to come out. Our dinner took nearly an hour from the time we ordered it and the breakfast was not as long but still awhile. For the price to stay here I would’ve expected higher quality cafe and attention to detail.

• Pamela (9/5): Very pleasant - The room was very nice and clean. The flooring was especially nice as it was not carpeted and gave a more clean feeling to the room. They called me that day ahead of the check in time to let me know that the room was ready for whenever I got there The bathroom was very small and difficult to move around in and I am a small person. What I did not like is that I was unable to find the ice machine and when I went to the front desk around 5:00pm, there was not any staff at the desk and I waited and no one came to the desk. I found a valet person who showed me where the ice was but the door was locked and I had to wait in the freezing cold while he got a key to let me in
• Marie (9/5): Mostly peaceful - Location was fantastic. View of ocean was beautiful. They need a better on-site restaurant for all meals, including breakfast. Also, my room was only accessible by an outside, rickety staircase that was precarious during inclement weather.

• Al (8/5): Nice place to get away and relax. - Nicely decorated large room. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and nice, although a little small. Nice ocean view from room. Ocean is right next to the resort with beach access. Pool is nice although weather was a little too cool for us to use (Middle of May). The resort is nicely designed and well maintained. There was only one chair in our room, which was very uncomfortable. Neither of us could sit in it. Even stuffing 3 pillows behind our backs did not help. We had to bring patio chairs into the room from the outside balcony. There was no table in the room for us to sit and have our coffee in the morning. We had to sit on the bed. That's when be decided to bring the balcony chairs into the room. We are senior citizens and there were no grab bars in the shower which should be an added feature. There was only one wall hook in the shower area for hanging your towel and no place to hang a bathrobe. The fridge, microwave and coffee maker were squeezed into the clothes closet. It was difficult to operate the coffee maker (Trying to pour water into it with a coffee cup). It would have been more user friendly on the dresser. The only other minor complaint is that the television appeared not to be high definition. TV reception for us was poor.

The room is large and for four persons but there is one aimchair only. No table and chairs to drink e.g. coffee or have light breakfast.

• Mary (10/5): - We stayed for 3 nights after Christmas. It was very quiet and clean. The girl who checked us in was very kind to offer to help us carry our luggage up the steps to our room. It rained most of our stay but the room was comfortable and clean so we enjoyed the rest.

• Kate (4/5): Disappointing - Nice property, nice location, very strange experience with staff and would not stay again. Booked online on booking.com. Threatening messages from staff to “prepay” via voicemail or will “lose the room” which was strange as last minute booking and also have a credit card on file booking.com. Had late check in (8 pm) and was rushed the next morning with front desk knocking on door when only 5-10 minutes past check out. Hotel cleaner waiting outside room. Mind you this is off season in late September and hotel is nearly empty and it is Sunday am. Room is nice but way overpriced for what it was. Staff is a problem also - would not hire these people for my own compang. Not a calming kind welcome or departure. No elevator. Do not assist with luggage. Will not stay again.

• Sandra (7/5): Good - The view was great. The restaurant was awesome, especially Joey behind the bar on Wednesday night. We arrived back to the property at 8:15 pm and we’re able to have a nice meal at the bar. Joey was wonderful in accommodating us. She was fun to talk to. We had 2 cans of bottled water in our room at arrival. We drank them both. It was still early, around 8:30, when I texted the service number asking about getting more water. I was told there was no vending or ability to get additional water except going to the restaurant or requesting a delivery from the restaurant. I walked over to the restaurant, $20 bill in hand, and requested 2 bottles of water. They had bubbly or still. I requested still. I was brought 2 bottles of Saratoga water for $10 each!!!! That’s crazy. The next evening we went into the lobby to inquire about water and saw a lighted refrigerator case with regular water bottles. What a rip off!!!

• Linda (10/5): Great couple of days at The Pelham House Resort, hope to be back soon. - The Pelham House Resort was a great choice to spend a few days on the Cape. It’s location is right on the water. The landscape was cared for daily with beautiful flowers around. The facility had a couple of very nice restaurants, and the pool area was amazing. The bathroom was very small, but to make up for it was a very nice shower and a hot or cool vent system.

Opened the balcony doors and could hear the waves crashing. we were on the second floor, and because there is no carpeting only hardwoods you can hear footsteps constantly.
