It was very comfortable, close to all amenities, and I felt safe. It was particularly impressive how quiet the room was considering the motel is along the main street that constitutes the highway passing through.

• Nicola (6/5): Inaccurate fee and brown tap water - Roomy suite with full kitchen and balcony with views of small lake beyond a trailer court. Little bag of dog goodies were appreciated by our dog. Well located in East walking distance to restaurants and downtown. Used the "pet friendly" filter on the site, booked a prepaid room,, said I had a pet, then got an email saying the room I booked wasn't pet friendly and I would need to pay an additional amount plus the pet fee. When we arrived, the toilet had not been cleaned. The tap water in the suite was brown. We ran the taps for 10 minutes and it was still brown, so we had to buy bottled water.

• Peter J (7/5): - The Avalon Inn is a good place for a multi-day stay. It is comfortable, the beds are good. The location is also good because you can easily walk into the Osoyoos town centre. Pet Peeve: excessively low toilets difficult for creaky knees.

• Boruck (7/5): Perfect for an overnight low budget stay - This was a good low budget option for a one night stay passing through. It was clean and tidy. Nothing special, but definitely adequate. I didn’t like the brown towels. The water system needs a flush because the water was brown.

• Szollosy (9/5): Delightful Welcoming Atmosphere - The unit was very nicely laid out with a separate bedroom from the kitchen/cooking area. Having cooking supplies available was quite convenient. Everything was clean and comfortable. We liked being able to bring our dog. Restaurants and a grocery were nearby. Some of the trim was coming off the cupboards and appliances. Some other regular utensils could have been available for cooking.

• Carol-Lyn (7/5): I met our purpose for an overnight stay going from Vancouver to the Kootneys. - The location was good for a one night stay on our way to Kootneys. It was in town so easy to find places close to have dinner and breakfast. It was located right in the heart of a wine country area, so even when we arrived in the late afternoon we were able to catch a couple of wine tasting places. Front desk was very helpful. I left my jacket in the room, Darren, was extremely helpful, in finding it and arranging to get it back to me. It had a slight musky smell. There was a bit of road noise, but expected as it is right on the main road through town.

• Laura (6/5): - Arrived a bit early, found a sign at the front desk that said basically no check ins until 3pm. No biggy. The room was clean, with some upgrades. However the toilet needs to be replaced. Was constantly running, would not flush. I was able to fix the issue, but needed to push the flapper down with a hanger. Check out was leave your keys on the table.

• Karla (7/5): We were happy to check in a little late with our dog and put our cooler items into fridge/ freezer - The rooms are large with a good sized fridge with freezer Water pressure good ! Pet friendly rooms ! The staff was very helpful and friendly ! The floors were filthy after only a few minutes of walking barefoot they were black. So Gross !!! Please rinse mop between wipes or use a steam mop with washable mop heads. The top comforter was yucky old polyester. Great with a fridge and microwave but zero dishes and utensils, some basics would be helpful. This is only an aesthetic thing but all the colours are different shades of poo, some bright colours would update this place so easily.

• Emily (6/5): - Good location and decent sized room. The bed was too far away from the air conditioner, which made the room too hot to sleep in. I also found the sheets to be of poor quality.
