• Patrick (7/5): Not great - It was quiet and clean. Staff was very nice. Mirror fell off the wall and maintenance came and hung back up by laying it on a 2x4,on the wall, no anchors. Bathroom had no ventilation and was hot.

• alexor99 (8/5): Strategic location, clean room, perfect for a short trip - The location is kind of strategic, you can easily access to the main street of downtown, walk around and making sure that during your round you will be able to see everything. You'll be less than 10 min away from the hiking trail. Breakfast was very basic, coffee and pastries, enough to begin your day and understanding that it worth it for what you're paying.

• David (9/5): A VERY enjoyable weekend to celebrate my birthday - Our room was on the ground floor, close to the office and we were able to park early, get our parking pass before check-in time. The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The whole property is very clean and well maintained. Check-in is a breeze and the staff were all very friendly. The hotel is located about a block and a half from the main strip so noise wasn't an issue BUT we were close enough to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We didn't take advantage of the free breakfast but I did see other guests enjoying it. The water gets extremely hot in the shower, which I LOVE! 10/10 will stay here again. We wish the pool had been open but it isn't quite time yet . Nothing to complain about

The view of the river from the outdoor lounging area was amazing and peaceful. The location was convenient to the downtown area. The price of the room was affordable compared to nearby locations. The gentleman who checked us out had the personality of a rock. The beds were not comfortable at all. 2 wall outlets and 2 light fixtures in the room (105) didn't work. The continental breakfast did offer a waffle station, but overall it was pretty minimal.

The balcony with river views are a plus point and provides a decent chance of seeing a black bear from a safe spot (we were lucky enough to see it once). Overall great experience and will definitely return to this place. Keep up the good work!

Great bed and strong showers. Fridge and a microwave. What else do you need? Absolutely book this place if it’s not already sold out. I didn’t get to have more days there.

I called when I originally booked the hotel and asked if the pool would be open by the time of our stay. I was told over the phone yes that it would be open. We got there and not only is the pool closed but it was disgusting looking. The cover was falling in, the water was half full and looked like green swamp water. The pool deck and surrounding areas were very trashy looking.

• Daniel (7/5): Good for one night in Gatlingburg - We love the location! The beds were super comfortable and the room was clean. We’ve stayed here a couple of times before and have had really nice rooms. This room was in need of some TLC. Just some nitpicking…the ceiling in the bathroom had some areas that were peeling, the molding in the bathroom needed painting, the hairdryer barrel looked as though it were melting, two of the lightbulbs were blown, we couldn’t keep our chargers in the plug-ins because they kept falling out, the sink in the bathroom was a tiny pedestal sink and there wasn’t room for you to put toiletries anywhere, the breakfast was lackluster and the coffee was terrible.

The rooms are dated but large and the bed is comfortable The room was clean. The staff are great at the hotel, did not meet one unfriendly pesorn during our stay. One thing about this hotel is that it has the hottest water of any hotel I have ever stayed at. Also we had the balcony on creekside and enjoyed sitting out on deck nightly. The breakfast area is small but we had no issues finding a seat. nothing

• Lori Hammock (8/5): EconoLodge Gatlinburg - The location was nice. Tucked away for a distant feeling, however, a short walk to the Parkway. The breakfast was decent. The pool wasn't open.
• Zair (8/5): Great location and friendly service - I really liked that the hotel is super close to the center. You don't need a car - within 5 minutes, you're on the main street where everything is. The area feels very safe. Everything was really clean, and I have to mention that the towels were surprisingly soft. Normally, hotel towels are kind of rough, but these were nice. The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything I needed. I read some reviews saying the place needed a renovation, but honestly, it seemed just fine to me - not luxurious, but definitely not old or run-down. It was simple and nice. The staff was super friendly, and both check-in and check-out were really quick. Big shout out to those employees! It's not the most luxurious, but it's far from the worst - just a solid, acceptable place. The only thing I didn’t love, but it wasn't a huge deal, was the breakfast - it was pretty basic and could use a little more variety. Also, the door to my room didn’t close properly at first, but then I realized you just have to push it harder. So, I’d say that area could use some updating. One more thing: the room didn’t have a safe, which I personally prefer to have for peace of mind

• Denise (10/5): Had a great stay! - I was a little unsure about it at first as I was traveling alone and usually won't book rooms that open to the outside and parking lot. But I didn't nave any issues and the room was great! I actually felt very safe there. It was in walking distance to the convention center and several restaurants were close by. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again. It was very clean and well kept. Parking seemed a little cramped but it was ok.

• Lacie (10/5): Perfect location. Older motel. - The location was excellent if you're looking to just walk the strip and hang out in Gatlinburg. You really don't have to drive anywhere if you have good shoes for walking. It's right on the river which was very peaceful. I would recommend getting a balcony. It's at the very end of town right before going to the mountains..its only 2 blocks from Ober Mountain and there are a few restaurants you can walk around the corner to, Bennetts BBQ, pizza and a bar. The only thing we didn't like was the motel needs a little love. Its outdated. But if you're just looking for a place to sleep its well worth the low price.

• JERRYN (10/5): All in all, the stay was great and we had no complaints! - Location was excellent. Short walk to downtown, never even have to get in your car to explore downtown so you don’t have to pay for parking! I fly fish and they have steps to take you down to the river for easy access and it’s in a great spot as well! Room also had a balcony so you can sit outside and see the river and listen to its relaxing sounds. The staff was also great during our trip and were very accommodating with anything we might have needed. Will definitely be back to stay here!

Had microwave & fridge in room also Well you would have people put that the decor was out dated or something like that well we're on vacation & having a clean room & a comfortable bed & place that isn't outrageous, to stay is what my husband & I look for. So they had everything that we needed. A comfortable bed clean rooms, great views & we had a wonderful stay.
• Yvette (5/5): Not impressed - Location was fantastic with access to park and walk to Main Street in Gatlingburg shops and food Very dated property, could see they were renovating but several dangerous areas for fall hazards. Bathroom was very small considering the other space that was wasted space. Smell of mildew was strong as soon as the door opened to the room. The shower was new but not operating correctly. I did tell the front desk and the hair dryer would not work. Could have been removed from the wall and replaced with one not attached to a wall in that small of space. The cost was just as much as some of the other name brand hotels and we expected better for the cost!
