• Ash (10/5): - Our stay at Diggi Palace in Jaipur was nothing short of magical. This stunning heritage palace hotel offers a truly surreal experience, with its lush gardens, charming courtyards, and beautiful Rajasthani-style architecture. The presence of peacocks roaming the grounds only adds to the enchanting atmosphere. We had originally booked two deluxe rooms for two nights, but were pleasantly surprised upon arrival to learn that both rooms had been upgraded to suites—a gesture that set the tone for the rest of our stay. The following morning, an issue arose when the hotel identified a booking error on our part—we had mistakenly selected single occupancy instead of double occupancy, which would have significantly increased the cost of our stay. To our great relief and appreciation, the General Manager, Mr. John Wilson, personally stepped in and resolved the matter with Booking.com, ensuring that no additional charges were incurred. We would like to sincerely thank Mr. Wilson and his team for their exceptional hospitality and professionalism. Their kindness and dedication made our experience truly memorable. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jaipur.

• Nicola (3/5): Terrible experience nothing like the pictures and descriptions online!! - Although it is rundown and outdated, the place has a lot of potential if it were renovated and well kept. It has a good central location and outdoor facilities. The pool area and garden are nice and it is very quiet and green, much like an oasis, in the centre of Jaipur. Terrible experience! Our room was nothing like the online pictures and description of it. The description of the room promised garden views but when we were shown to our room it didn't even have any proper windows and therefore no views of anything at all. The bedroom door opened to an inner courtyard which provided the only source of light that entered the room so it was quite dark inside and it had terrible white artificial lighting. The online pictures of the room were therefore very misleading as they showed rooms with windows and green views and rooms that were much nicer and decorated than what we got. After we complained about our room at the reception, they showed us another three rooms. They were even worse or at least just as bad. One had a terrace with a huge loud type of water boiler and old water bottles and rubbish in the corner. The other two were very dark and with no proper windows either. Although they showed us other rooms after we complained, in general the staff was dismissive and not helpful and comprehensive at all. Moreover, the mugs provided in our room were dirty and the towels were tattered and disgustingly stained in brown and yellow. We had to ask to have them replaced. The rest of the hotel indoors were also rundown, outdated and badly kept. They were renovating some small parts of the hotel, like painting the walls, but it did not look substantial as to completely update and improve the hotel as a whole and especially the rooms. Most of the rooms of the hotel seemed to face indoor courtyards. The restaurant was ok with decent food but nothing outstanding and with outdated facilities too. In addition, it was a rather confusing situation with the tuk tuks at the hotel. Those tuk tuks that paid a small commission to the hotel could drive into the hotel and pick guests up but others were parked outside and had to wait for guests outside. It was difficult to understand which tuk tuks to take.

Lovely garden, faded grandeur of a time gone by and genuinely warm staff. I stayed here twice, either side of my flight, and will stay again next time I visit Jaipur. I also recommend the tuk tuk driver Bobby who was super helpful and kind - he looked after me well!

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Peacocks roam the grounds which added to the experience It’s a bit pricey and breakfast not included unless you pay extra.
• Alexandru (9/5): little gem - Gorgeous hotel that is full of little pockets of beauty ready for instagramable photos. Room was huge bed super comfortable and friendly staff. Very well priced for what you get. The pool area was out of service during one day of our stay due to an extremely loud private event (techno music was blasting at one point) and we did not get noticed. If we were informed in advanced we would have planned around it and probably not be bothered by it.

When we tried to clarify an unfortunate refund issue, we were treated in a frankly disrespectful manner by the hotel management. What a pity.
• Rose (7/5): not as good as expected - A classic building, but is looking tired in places. Our room was good but didn't really have an outside view which I didn't like. The shower was only average. The family was very welcoming at the Holi festival and included us in the celebrations, especially the lighting of the holy fire to thank God for a good spring and harvest. On arrival at reception we didn't get any information as to things that were going on in the hotel (and it was the Holi festival when we stayed) or about location of the pool and bars etc we would have liked to be given this and local information about using tuc tucs ordered from the hotel not right outside because of safety

So close to all the city has to offer, but wow, how amazing to have a quiet, lovely peaceful hotel to go to. I was so very very thrilled. (also - added bonus, it's just so romantic, oh my oh my... I would plan a wedding here). Big thanks to Wilson who was amazing and made our stay just incredible. :) :) :) We live in Canada and I swear, we have nothing like this kind of experience back home. Seeing peacocks in the courtyard every day was just magical! I loved everything! (Ok - maybe they could work on their masala chai! I like it spicier, but thats my personal taste).

• Aparna (5/5): Not what I thought it would be. - Service was slow. At midnight we had to keep waiting for 20 min for a bottle of water in the room. The staff in response to the delay could have been less opaque and defensive.

Quilt covers were not changed. The property is not kept clean. Toilteries were extremely poor quality. Soap and bath gel did not make any lather. The shower in the room was not working properly. The general maitenance of greens is extremely poor. The trees are not manicured and maintained properly. Rear windows overlook living quarters kept dirty. There was garbage that one could see from corridor and staircase. Adjoining building within compoubd badly maintained. Dining area as in a ghastly color. Food was too oily and mutton and chicken were both tough /chewy. TV did not work properly. Everything could have been better. The overall experience was extremely poor. The fountain at the entrance has bottle caps floating in it. The parking was badly maintained. Overall a not to stay place. Food was not good. Room upkeep and cleanliness was not up to the mark. I would rate it a 2 experience though Bookings.com is alloting 3 to it.

Le buffet du petit-déjeuner pourrait être plus varié, avec notamment plus d'options indiennes.

C est un attrape touriste : des artistes à l intérieur essayent de vous vendre des œuvres d art, il y a un conflit de tuk tuk devant l hôtel. L hôtel ne fait rien pour rendre votre séjour agréable. Ne pas prendre le petit déjeuner, nous avons été malade pendant quelques jours après.

• Tom (10/5): Beautiful hotel with stunning gardens - Amazing service. We got upgraded upon arrival. The staff in this hotel were so nice and friendly which is just what we needed as western travellers. We extended our stay by another 3 days when we got there and the owner was very helpful in supporting this. The gardens are beautiful and full of wildlife it made us feel really tranquil on an evening after the hustle and bustle of Jaipur. Food in the restaurant was lovely! There was some maintenance going on as its ’off season’ but this is very common for India during monsoon season

• Niamh (10/5): A magical oasis in the heart of Jaipur! - Diggi Palace is located on luscious grounds where squirrels and peacocks roam all around. It was an amazing sight to behold. The staff were amazing in all aspects of our stay. The room itself was good the only downside was we were sleeping in two twin beds pushed together. The decor of the room although simple could be updated. The pool was lovely although needs to be regularly cleaned as there was lots of bugs and leaves.
• Kalam (7/5): Good property but needs renovation, maintenance and better safety - The courtyard, restaurant outdoor seating, pool area, and in general the public access properties are very good. Beautiful garden with peacocks strutting by and flying most of the time. The staff and the manager were very good and the property was generally safe, except for a small incident which I’m choosing not to mention giving the hotel the benefit of the doubt as they did their best to solve it. The rooms did not meet my expectations, upholstery on armchairs and sofas was dirty; I expected a predominantly indian design seating and arches, which wasn’t the case; there is no clear room divisions and designated seating spaces as shown in the pictures and is just a standard room like at normal hotels - the sofas were cheap looking and defeated the entire purpose of why I went to the property.

• Agrawal (1/5): Horrible !! Felt really bad about the decision of coming here - This property is a marriage hall that sells rooms in off season !! The rooms in the photos and the rooms on reality are completely different. It’s as if you are staying in your own home. The price is not worth it, at all !! With Ciggerate buds in balcony, sofas with dust all over them, Ideally this room should not be more then 2500 per night. The only saving grace in the food at the Resturant. NOT RECOMMENDED. Needs massive overhauling. Nothing !! Not worth
• Bhatia (3/5): A deeply disappointing stay where poor service overshadowed the charm and reputation of the property - Location is very good and I stay twice a year at the location for almost 4 to 5 days in each of my trip. I always book Courtyard Suite because i travel with my pet. Food is tasty. I recently stayed at Diggi Palace for a family gathering, and unfortunately, the experience was far below expectations—especially given the heritage and reputation this property claims to hold. I called my guests for a dinner & I had my 10 guests on board and team there was busy attending a larger party of IPS which the waiters mentioned, and the service provided was shockingly poor and unprofessional. Despite confirming arrangements well in advance, the staff appeared completely unprepared. From delayed responses, missed basic hospitality courtesies, to unappealing & late food service at Table, it was clear that no effort was made to deliver a quality experience. Even simple requests took repeated follow-ups, and there was no point of contact who took ownership of the situation. The gathering, which should have been a memorable celebration, turned into a series of apologies to our guests due to the hotel’s lackluster service. For a property of this stature, such disregard for guest experience is unacceptable. I would not recommend Diggi Palace for anyone planning a group event or expecting even a decent standard of service.
• Allison (10/5): If you’re in Jaipur, there’s only one place to stay: the Diggi! - Firstly, the heritage architecture was unbelievable! A throwback to another era where the facade & most embellishing decor elements have been well preserved. Secondly the lush gardens & flourishing bird life! Just WOW! From the pride of parading peacocks to the swooping green parrots, Scops owls, waders & miner birds, Diggi Palace is a nature sanctuary, a veritable haven. You’d never say that the chaos of the city is a mere 5 minutes away.. the environment, birdsong & peacock cries do much to absorb the traffic sounds as well as reduce the summer temperatures. Just shows what happens when we allow nature to thrive in an urban setting! Nothing! I do feel that certain parts need some TLC. Perhaps the shower heads could be bigger & parts of the building could be restored. I would also take out all synthetic carpets in favour of cretestone floors or something more natural. Just my ideas 🤩
• Dee (10/5): The most perfect hotel just outside a crazy city! - We loved the style of the building and the beautiful gardens. The pool area wonderful on hot days. We couldn’t find fault with anything.

• Dee (10/5): Magical hotel and gardens - We adored this hotel, it is an oasis of calm and tranquility in the city of Jaipur. We wish we would have stayed longer. The building and gardens are simply beautiful. The staff were incredible and nothing was too much trouble for them. We would highly recommend this hotel and would love to return in the future. Thank you for making our trip truly magical.

• KANIKA (2/5): - Horrible experiance... i kept trying to cancel my booking due to family emergency my husband was in ICU suffered brain haemorrage and was critical but despite many " dont worry Ma'm " type respinses ultimately i lost the 15 k. Diggi palace can consider it a donation from my side. I used to think that Jaipur hotels were famous for hospitality but all i got was hostility coz they refused to refund my money despite the fact that it was not a last minute cancellation i had raised the request 2 weeks before date there was ample time for them to recieve other bookings for those 2 rooms. For me its NEVER AGAIN DIGGI PALACE & NEVER AGAIN EXPEDIA.

• Lou (8/5): Comfortable accommodation in Jaipur - Lovley, comfortable hotel in Jaipur. Large, clean rooms and nice bathroom. Friendly staff and nice food in the garden terrace cafe/resturaunt. Nice garden spaces and plenty of seats to enjoy the outdoor spaces. Slighly out of the way - but still close to the attractions.

• Shn (7/5): Ok. - The hotel looks really glamorous on the site but it looks like it's seen better days. The peacocks in the garden are really wow. The staff in the restaurant are ok but come across as quite officious. The restaurant functions well. Location was excellent. Maybe it's better in the summer. Lack of heating. My room was huge with marble floors. I had a tiny heater which hardly made an impact. No shower curtain so wet floors all over anytime you had a shower.. My friend and I booked identical rooms Mine was huge with a dressing room, hers was half the size of mine. Pool didn't look very clean.
• Gayatri (8/5): A palace that brings you back in time - Everything was beautiful. It was a pleasure going back to the hotel palace to retreat after 2 full days walking and sightseeing in Jaipur. The breakfast was well taken care of, the staff was friendly. Like many people stated before, it is outdated so don’t expect a 5 star hotel but it was very clean and we enjoyed our peaceful time there. -
• Anchen (9/5): Superb - Amasing Herige Hotel in the heart of Jaipur. Will recommend Diggi Palace and will stay there again
• Tanuja (7/5): Good - Bad breakfast. Need a lot of improvement for the amount you are charging.
