Everything was amazing for my trip. I came to train Muay Thai and wanted somewhere close to Fitness Street, but not directly on the street so I could also relax. The location turned out to be absolutely perfect. It’s only about a ten-minute walk to Fitness Street, so it’s still very convenient if you’re training every day. The staff were fantastic. From the reception team to the girls in the restaurant, the cleaners, and even the pool staff, everyone was always friendly, smiling, and happy to help. As I said, everyone was great, but a special thanks to Pim, who first checked me in and was amazing throughout my stay. The rooms were excellent and left spotless every time they were cleaned. The food and drinks were also great and very reasonably priced. I’d also like to thank Filip, the owner, for the chats about mental health and wellbeing. He gave me so much to think about regarding my life and business. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

- Beth (10/5): - This suite was absolutely stunning, i felt like a queen staying here! Massive balcony overlooking the pool, the bed was unbelievably comfy especially for Thailands standards. Very gutted that I was only staying here for one night!
- Arman (4/5): Extremely disappointed by the overall experience. - The common areas are beautiful and staff are generally friendly. The room was dirty and the toilets were stinking. The check in process was a nightmare as when we arrived they told us that there was no room for us given that we had not prepaid for the room (even though the booking option we had selected was “pay at reception at check in”. Apart from that, I had messaged the property several times before check in with questions and no response or acknowledgement was ever provided. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE.

The location is a fair walk to any of the hot spots though these are easily accessible by motorbike/taxi. However as a result of this the local area is very quiet and peaceful.

- Luis (10/5): - I love Chalong, and this place is great if you want your little paradise to relax after a hot busy day. I have nothing negative to say, all was perfect. Only “inconvenient” is that on the app it said that it is 2 minutes walking from Wat Chalong, and this is not true. It’s about 30 minutes walking or 3-5 in vehicle. Only mentioning to keep in mind. We loved our stay!

(Side road by titan fitness leads to where the building work is going on next to the hotel). The hotel has a cross fit area with small group classes which looked good but sadly we didn’t have time to use.

The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile – they truly made me feel at home. Some employees really shine with their friendliness and courteous approach. The fitness room needs some serious upgrades. There’s construction around the site which made walking a bit precarious. Service was uneven; some staff members were a bit rude at times. In certain rooms the a/c points directly at the bed which is an issue when the weather is warmer.

- Leonardo (2/5): never again - beautiful swimming pool everything (excpet the pool). the staff (some very unfriendly, some poorly mannered, most not welcoming, ... for exemple: I asked for a mug to have a coffee around the pool: the answer was go to your room and take one of the cup. the gym is shabby (nude electrical wire hanging on the wall and on the ceiling, every equipement was filthy, the curtains are half broken, some equipments are broken,... The picture of the room on Booking.com shows a parc, my window/balcony was facing a parking, and some construction sites. it was also noisy the room was not clean, and the amenities given (shampoo, soap) were of very poor quality.

- Mark (3/5): Disappointing - The room family suite layout and interior was really nice as well as a high quality television in the living area, with also having one in each bedroom. The pools are beautiful but not enough sun loungers or space to properly utilise compared to the amount of people there!! Paradiso cafe was for the most part a pleasant experience with great food, but when the TUF gym members were there the staff prioritised them above anyone else which turned out to not be a great strategy now that they have parted ways in the last day we were there. Unfortunately quite a bit - and most of it revolves around constant noise both day and night. Our family booked in for 19 days to allow us to relax and be close to fitness street for training as well. Retreat & Paradiso are within touching distance of each other, as buildings, and we found ourselves looking out of our bedrooms right at windows and the stairwell window on the Paradiso building. People in that building made constant noise at night where I had to ask them multiple times to keep it down (we're talking 1am, 2am). Also, the kitchen is directly under our bedroom windows so the noise at 0630 and 2230 everyday was crazy from that as well - therefore a lay in never happened or indeed an early night!!! During the day there is constant building works, and tree lopping in the little villas that they are upgrading directly outside the Retreat property so relaxation wasn't really a thing for us for most days either. You don't expect to go somewhere in high season that isn't in Patong and still put up with this noise level each day. I approached the reception staff 4 or 5 days in to advise this and the answer was ' we're fully booked so we can't move you but we'll ensure the noise doesn't continue.' This didn't change anything - I did mention again around 3 days later to be advised again that they were fully booked and that they would speak to Paradiso staff to remind their residence (same owner of both properties from my understanding) - still no change! Also, the family suite we were in, D109 - the walls connecting the other room on that floor are paper thin - unfortunately we could hear everything, like word for word conversation of the British couple next door, and then the other family that moved in the following week.

The staff are amazing very friendly and helpful any informal tips trips they have you covered . Food 10 they have healthy options .Your washing can be done here too . Also rent a ped from reception . Patong walking street is 40 min by taxi nearest beaches 30 min depending on on what one . House keeping came in everyday to clean room . I left money on the side and passports for my stay with no problems . They go above and beyond at this hotel . Can’t wait to return. Definitely a Lille gem away from all the hustle perfect .

The room was everything you expected and the resort itself looks super nice. If you are looking to train Muay Thai, the place has several gyms in the vicinity, quickly reachable by scooter. I would definitely book again. The location isn’t super central, but perfectly manageable by renting a scooter!

Not the best walkability, though a few restaurants and small markets within a mile. They miss small details, like dirty windows, so not a 5 star place, but more than adequate for an inclusive retreat or if wanting to just sit by a pool and read a book for a few days.

A very nice place to stay Rooms are clean and the bed comfy 20 minutes away from Phuket, which isn't a real disavantage because being closer means you either have noise or pollution.
- Dawson (10/5): Exceptional - Had the most wonderful time at Coco retreat, we ended up staying here an extra week and the staff were really accommodating! Great central location, great price, had an amazing stay 🫶🏽
- kanes735 (10/5): Amazing stay at coco retreat - From start to finish me and my partner had an amazing stay. Clean and tidy hotel. Beautiful decor. Beautiful and clean swimming pools. All 3 of them. There is a restaurant which does beautiful food, this is at the back of hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location near all the gyms etc. quiet part of phuket but close to the south which has beautiful scenery and beaches. Check out Rawaii!!!! Will 1 billion percent be returning to this hotel. Didn’t want to leave!
- Artes (10/5): Exceptional - Room setup, closeness to fitness street (scooter needed), clean, service and the super positive attitude of the staff. It’s not a luxury hotel but great value for money and the nicest hotel in the fitness street area. Room service was sometimes a bit slow, but made up for it with a very positive attitude.
- Markus (6/5): ok to stay but too expensive - quiet area beautifull garden with nice swimming pool the room had alot of dust was dirty and not cleaned up good for al ong time the clean up service was bad

- Kseniia (10/5): Exceptional - Cleanliness, beautiful surroundings, pools, a delicious restaurant, massages, yoga with a stunning view, and the best part – the people! They always helped with any issues, from transfers and finding a SIM card to locating a currency exchange in the city. Absolutely responsive, kind, lovely staff, but especially, my great love - Aung! At any time of day or night, she can solve any issue in seconds! Kind, empathetic, with the best human qualities! Our conversations were always interesting! I not only relaxed in such a wonderful place but also gained friends! Next time, I'm only going to Coco!
