• Amber (3/5): - Location was good, not far from the shops and beach. The room was dated, bathroom fan was broken, faucet made high pitch squeal. Our bathtub did not drain and the shower leaked. The walls are paper thin. There was no AC and the room got muggy even with a fan. The pool was disgusting human and dog hair everywhere, the saunas did not get warm.
• deirdre (4/5): We really wanted to like this place but we didn’t enjoy it like we do with the other locations - Location. The pool was nice. The staff was nice also. The bathroom we had would not let us pull the lever to have the shower head come on. They were nice enough to give us a new room but we were then by all of the dogs howling and yelping. The saunas took a lot longer to warm up and even then it wasn’t warm enough.

Our room was not as nice as pictures, for the amount you pay, I think it was not worth it. It felt like we were staying at the motel. The front desk stuff was not pleasant. The pool is smaller than on the pictures as well, was crowded with kids when we went. Coffee shop was not open in the morning as advertised.

• Daniel (7/5): - Great location for accessing the beach and the amenities at the hotel were nice. Towels were good. The complimentary coffee was good. The staff were friendly enough but when we checked in they didn't explain what the hotel had to offer or where our room was. The curtains in our room didn't cover the entire window so we had to hang blankets. The TV worked about half of the time we tried to use it. Beds were too firm and linens felt cheap. Thermostat was inconsistent and the room was either too cold or too hot. Really though, these things weren't a big deal just trying to provide honest feedback.

• Aurelia (6/5): - Great location, really friendly and helpful staff, and the bikes were a nice bonus. The rooms, pool, and sauna were very clean. We also appreciated the offer to move us to another room because of the noise. Noise was an issue. We stayed on the second floor and could hear every single step from the room above us. The sauna was usable, but barely satisfying. It took a long time to heat up, and the door didn’t close properly, so the heat kept escaping.

• Brandy (6/5): Its great place but restaurant needs help - We love that there is an adult time only for the pool really is nice The the restaurant at the top of the hotel the pickled fish really needs help we waited probably a half an hour to finally be seated and to get a table and there was plenty of tables open to be seated at then we sat and waited almost 2 hours to finally get our food the waitress knew we were upset and brought us an extra cup of clam chowder but I just think this place needs help.

• Beeler (9/5): Fun spot on the beach! - Location is great! The beach is a very short walk away. Pool & saunas were super cool, so bummed we didn't bring our swim suits. Dogs are welcomed with open arms, coffee shop in the lobby amazing, nice cozy spot to sit by the fire, staff so nice and the bed, so comfy!! Rustic decor was uniquely refreshing. Would definitely stay here again!! Our neighbors upstairs we a bit noisy, hubby says they were wearing concrete shoes!!

• Julee (1/5): The worst hotel I have ever stayed at - Location! Hotel itself is in a great location Rooms are not 1star. Subpar interior, with zero extras. Lights are literally hanging from the ceiling by ropes. Toddlers must love these: mine were broken. (No kids here)

• Emily (6/5): It wa fine other than that. Overall it was a a pretty nice stay. Just felt like it was a bit overrated. - The restaurant was amazing and loved that it was attached to hotel. I was told that a hair dryer was going to be in my room and it wasn’t. Went back two times to get one and both times the hairdryers were broken. When I came back the first time and told the lady at the desk she questioned me and said “are you sure you didn’t just not see it hanging up in the room?” Also the saunas were slimy.

• TANNER (3/5): Not again. - The king sized bed was great, we had a nice view. We enjoyed riding the free bikes for an hour before we left the hotel. Um… would rather pay for a best western next time. I probably would have saved money and had a better experience. The curtains didn’t fully cover the window which let ample light in. Paper thin walls. Base boards were literally falling off. They were even kind enough to leave us part of the beach on our floors and in the bed. I’m not convinced that the cleaning staff actually did much of anything. For the amount of sand in the sheets, you’d think it was our second or night there. We didn’t even get to spend time on the beach before we crawled into bed… so I’m sure we didn’t put it there. Overall I felt it was over priced for what I got. I will not be staying here again.

• Joel (8/5): Lovely place with a big difference depending on room location. - Location! So convenient Wish I’d known we were staying down the hall from the hotel bar. Loud late. Did not really get a good night’s sleep either night.
• Courtney (9/5): Cozy well-appointed hotel stay especially for cold beach weekends. - The room was very nice for the price, roomy with lots of additional lighting and chairs for reading (three chairs total). The bed was comfortable and overall the hotel was quite quiet. Having access to a sauna makes this hotel a no-brainer for trips to the beach. Nothing to note.

• Angela (2/5): Close to the beach, beds are terribly uncomfortable. - It’s walking distance to the beach. The beds are awful, truly the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. Saunas could be a nice benefit, but you have to walk down 30 minutes in advance, turn the sauna on to heat up, and then hope no one takes your sauna before you return. Signage is needed to prevent other guests from taking the sauna because they have no way of knowing it’s reserved .

The room was pet friendly which was nice, but the room was damp and we had sleep with the window open all night, their indoor pool was in a 3 sided cabana with leaves and sticks and sand in the pool. The lights in the room, hung from ropes , part of the decor I'm sure, were harsh and uncomfortable. The room had a great view was dog friendly but that's all I could say nice about this motel. Definitely not above a 2star Ive stayed at Rodeways that were nicer.

I don’t want to put clothes on to go down to their lobby for coffee. Bed really hurt my back. Needs to be replaced. Loud fan outside was too loud and made it difficult to sleep.

• Sandra (8/5): Not what we expected. - The staff here is wonderful. Hotel is close to the beach. Restaurant has great food and a nice view of the ocean. Room - meh. For the price of the rooms we expected a bit of luxury but, instead, the rooms are extremely spartan and decor is "Industrial chic". Tiny table (actually a shelf that was too small to hold a laptop) with 2 cheap plastic chairs. Wooden crates for night stand (barely room for a book). Bare lightbulbs for lighting. In a room with 2 beds, which could conceivably house 2 couples, the sink hardly had counter space for one person's toiletries (toothbrush/paste, comb/brush). The beds were very firm memory foam. Probably OK for younger folks but were hard on old joints, difficult to adjust position on, and got very hot during the night.

• Brandon (10/5): - Beach access was very convenient and the top floor restaurant was also lovely. Had a great first visit to Long Beach staying here.

The restaurant on the 4th floor was a bonus; my rating was due to lack of Expedia VIP status but it was corrected. The VIP drink is from the lobby, so do not think you’re gettin a drink from the bar. Overall, we will be back
• Durkin (8/5): Great Spot. So close to the beach and the main town. Can’t beat it. - Located right at the start to the Discovery Trail. Cute rooms. Clean. Could use brighter lighting in the bathroom.

• Melissa (8/5): This is my second stay at a property owned by this company. I stayed at a sister property in Oregon last year. We chose - Simple but clean accommodations and dog friendly! Nice location near the beach! No AC, but we opened the windows and got a decent breeze. No elevators, so thankfully we got a first floor room.
• Kylie (4/5): Don’t waste your time & money - The room was cleaned but not clean. The towels were frayed and stain, the toilet had smears of poo. The mattress was so broken down I felt like I slept in a whole. The entire reason why we booked this hotel was because we had a busy day and they had an onsite restaurant. I called ahead to verify hours and was told they were open until 10 and was told they also offered room service. When we checked in we mentioned we were going to be busy but looked forward to dinner later in the restaurant, we dropped off our belongings and left. We were shocked and disappointed when we came back and found that the restaurant was closed. We had McDonalds in bed at nearly 10 because we had no other options. Had someone mentioned the restaurant was closed when we checked in, we could have planned accordingly. If we would have known the Pickled Fish was closed, we never would have booked the Adrift Hotel. Not to mention the barking dogs. So frustrating!!!

• Doug (10/5): Great distillery on site. - Great distillery on site with free tasting. No coffee maker in the room, and breakfast started too late for our travel. (7am)

• Rachel (10/5): - This place was so cute and quaint! Quiet, staff was so friendly, and they had an amazing distillery and restaurant on property. The room was great and the bed/sheets were so nice. Would definitely stay here again!
