• Stephen (8/5): - Was a decent property in a nice little area, however it clearly needed repairs doing to the property. Random holes in walls, one of the wardrobe doors completly removed and the outside chairs needed replacing. Nothing that a few 100 euro couldnt fix to give this place a 5 stars. The host was friendly.ajd easily contactable. Nearest big supermarket is 1km away which is really handy as it has more or less everything.

Pleasant view on a small vineyard Convenient with large area to prepare, and store, food. Good communication too made our two night stay very relaxing.

Ook kregen we bij aankomst veel informatie over de streek. Prima bedden. Personeel erg behulpzaam en aardig. Een plek om terug te komen.

• Hefty (10/5): - Really spacious accommodations in what seemed to be new buildings. More than enough space for a family of 4, and the proximity to Saint Emilion was excellent. Easy drive back and forth through the beautiful countryside.

• Ulf (10/5): För alla - Fantastiskt rent och snyggt och förstås mycket rymligt. LGV ligger i utkanten av Libourne och är granne med vinodlingar (Merlot från St Emilion). Det är lätt att ta sig härfifrån till gårdarna i Pomerol, St Emilion och Fronzac. Välkomnande och hjälpsam service. Rekommenderas verkligen!
• Verified traveler (10/5): Great family sized townhouse with aircon - Great townhouse right next to a vineyard. Everything was excellent. I was travelling with 3 younger children (all under 10) and my wife and mother-in-law. The townhouse had plenty of space for us all, with a fully functioning kitchen and eating space, as well as two bathrooms+toilets (one of which had separate toilet). Wifi worked perfectly and the TV also worked well (was able to connect my own device to watch Netflix etc via HDMI). Last mention, but maybe the most important, was that there was aircon unit in all rooms (not bathrooms) - that was so important as there was 35-38 deg outside during our 2 day stay, which meant with A/C, that I could actually sleep at night! The city of Libourne is lovely, within about 2 minute drive and a Carrefour also within 2min, so everything was very close :-) Used the house as a base for visiting St. Emilion, which had city center within 10min drive. All in all, very highly recommended, would definitely stay again.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Like staying in a condo - Les Grands Vignobles consists of about a dozentownhouses clustered in Libourne, about 20 minutes from St. Emilion. A family could easily stay there, as our "residence" had a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, and three bedrooms. The place was clean, comfortable and attractive, but the relatively new construction was poorly done in some places. The manager was friendly and helpful. Overall, the residence made a nice, moderately-priced place from which to explore the Bordeaux area.

• Lindade (10/5): Beautiful accommodation. - We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. The owner made us feel very welcome and gave us very useful information about things to do in this lovely area. The air conditioning and all the facilities were wonderful.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great place - We only stayed one night, but the place was perfect for us. 3 adults and 3 kids. They even had a crib for us to use. If we need to stay in the area again we will definitely be contacting this place.

• Rose (10/5): Excellent House - Greatly enjoyed our stay. It is a semi detached 2 years old property ( in a group of 14 semi detached ). Three bedrooms ( two double bedrooms and one with four bunk beds), two walk-in showers , comfortable sitting room and kitchen at the rate of £35 per night per property .Vineyards just looking out the windows. The location is 10 minutes walk to a shopping complex. We ( two retirees ) travel extensively and this is the most comfortable accomodation that we experienced for the last ten years. Full marks !!!

The location is close to St Emilion, Pomerol and other wine destinations all of which can be reached by bicycle.
• Andrew (10/5): - Fabulous apartment with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, ewuipped kitchen, large living area. Efficient, friendly and helpful greeter on site. Place is really perfect. Would have liked to have stayed longer. Do bring your own soap, though. Still 5+ stars. And a bargain.
• Brian (10/5): Comfortable and spacious - Our stay was great and we were very happy. Our host offered us loads of help, dining, and tourism information and was easy to get in contact with. The value for the price is incredible. The kitchen is functional and the property is very close to a large supermarket. Libourne is a small town between Saint-Emilion and Bordeaux, which was why we selected it. Tip: everything in this town is closed on Sunday. Wine tasting around Saint-Emilion and Bordeaux is by appointment ONLY. The only somewhat negative feedback I have from our very nice and comfortable stay was that it would be nice to have a hand towel and soap in each bathroom and more than 1 towel per guest for the entire length of the stay. Also, as mentioned in another review, the bed pillows are definitely odd Overall, we are very pleased!

Nous y avons été très chaleureusement accueillis et avons eu la magnifique surprise de découvrir un logement très confortable et magnifiquement aménagé. De plus, comme en automne, la température extérieure était relativement basse, nous avons trouvé fort agréable de pouvoir chauffer l’appartement très aisément. Notons encore que le service était de tout premier ordre. Nous pouvons recommander sans réserve cette adresse.

Modern ingericht met grote huiskamer, 2 leren banken en meubilair voor 8 personen. Prachtig sanitair op zowel begane grond als de bovenetage (in totaal 2 badkamers en 2 toiletten), 3 slaapkamers. Uitzicht op veld met druivenstokken. Wifi werkte in ons appartement (Fronsac) niet, maar we kregen een sleutel van een appartement waar Wifi wel werkte. Beheerster spreekt uitstekend engels. Parkeren voor de deur.

Close to several large supermarkets. Very quiet apartment and pleasant terrace overlooking vineyard., Parking outside our apartment door. The apartment is located in built-up /suburban area with other houses and sheds in proximity, not in rural area. Great value and high quality holiday accommodation. The manager Serge speaks good English and was pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend.
