Guest Reviews
- Rosa Luz (10/5): - Excelente hotel
- Dave (10/5): - Only a 3 start hotel but it was clean, quiet and they allowed me to take possession of my room several hours before 3 pm. I had a very early flight and arrived at the hotel at 9 am. Was sleeping by 930. I’ll be back.

- Alba (8/5): - I liked the staff, very friendly. Didnt like that wifi was not working most times.
- Shumari (2/5): Not friendly Nor Accommodating - The receptionist was not friendly, the reservations were missed from the books and he blamed that we booked late where he had stated moments prior that some people came in just a while ago. He also stated there was no difference in price for a standard room versus a suite which is false as we booked a standard and suite last time. Later on he gave only two towels per room, we had visited this hotel 2-3 weeks prior and they gave us 3 towels per room, it was a different receptionist at this time. The receptionist that gave bad service was Santiago, so be aware. We stayed one night in one room in the end because of his crappy service.
- Robert (10/5): - Enjoy
- Benjamin (8/5): - Inexpensive. Internet was unusable in room, which meant the TV was unusable in the room, as there was no cable or local channels.
- Shumari (8/5): Decent for short term stay - The room was spacious, however only had one sofa which the photos showed 2. We had to keep logging into the wifi as it disconnected whenever our devices were locked. The beds were a bit on the hard side which was kind of uncomfortable but the ac was working well. Besides all that the staff were very friendly and the stay was good.

- marilyn (8/5): Huge rooms - Gigantic rooms, very clean and quiet. Drive right into the hotel past the front desk for parking (for only 4-5 cars). Very very soft bed that makes a lot of noise. Excellent staff, great location
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Great location, great value for money, and clean.
Good for an overnight stay in Chetumal
- Jardin (10/5): Good location and service - I actually ended up at this place because my original hotel room fell through. I was expecting the worst due to the price, but I was pleasantly surprised. The bed was firm, the AC worked great, and I was able to walk to a nearby pharmacy and restaurants for essentials. The hotel manager was extremely patient with my lack of Spanish when I was trying to figure out how to get to Belize at 5 in the morning.
- Chetu (8/5): - The property was ok the thing i like it was right in town and u can walk to go shopping
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Friendly staff and free parking and the room was clean. The ac worked well.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Frontdesk was very helpful. They allowed us to stay pass checkout time in the room.
- Shumari (8/5): Suite at Hotel Juliet - My stay was good! The hotel was clean and the bathroom shower was spacious. I loved that the floor tile in the bathroom was not the slippery type. I wish they would build a pool because it is such a nice hotel to not have access to one. Overall it was lovely.
- Sarah (8/5): - It was centrally located. Very nice. Clean and friendly staff.
- Gerardo (8/5): Nice, Central location & business areas, good par - Good experience, good quality 4 the price, Well located
- joe (2/5): aweful service, price scam - never return
- Dan (4/5): 1 nighter - OK price for 1 night for 18-25 yrs. and singles. Staff f very friendly.
- Fishboy (6/5): Decent place to stay in the middle of things. - There's not a lot of touristy stuff in Chetumal. However, Hotel Juliet is a pretty decent place to stay in the middle of what's there. It's clean and across the street from much of what you'd want in Chetumal. Don't freak out that cars drive right into the hotel lobby. It means your car will be secure. Across the street is the mercado viejo (which you can use to give a taxi directions). If you need a bag or torta, you can get it there cheap. As well, the Museum of Mayan Culture is next to that, and if you are going for Mayan Ruins, this will give a lot of context and interpretation before you visit the ruins (bilingual, too). The bus station is right behind the market, with the added benefit that the area is crawling with taxis. Really, the hotel is about the location: it's central to much of what you want. Besides that, it's pretty comfortable, and has WIFI. I found the wifi to be a bit unreliable in my room, but I could fix it by moving a bit. I think it's a quirk of being on the end of the top floor. Otherwise, my only real complaint is that the lock on the door wasn't up to US standards. It's a simple push-button door knob, so if you neglect to push in the button before closing the door, it will be unlocked when you leave. However, learning this the hard way with all my stuff inside, there wasn't any problem with crime or security. It's a good place for a base to head to the cenote or sleep before heading to Bacalar or Belize.
- Garcia (6/5): - Had a great stay. The staff were welcoming.
- derick (6/5): super - It was great but they close the door to the hotel at night and you have to ring a buzzer to get back in
- David (2/5): worse hotel stay - There was no stay I was told to go to another hotel
