The hotel is set within a beautifully preserved historic complex that feels like a destination in itself, with direct access to the Kurashiki Bikan Quarter. Being able to explore the area early in the morning and in the evening, after the crowds have left, was a highlight. Dining on-site was excellent—from a delicious, reasonably priced dinner to a generous breakfast buffet—and overall the stay offers outstanding value for such a unique setting. I only stayed one night and wished I had planned for longer.

Lawson is right beside it, and so many pretty shops around. Room was clean and functional, just a bit small but you need to go out to explore the hotel environment so it’s not a big deal. The staff was really nice too. Room a bit small.

- Gert (8/5): Tolle Lage - großer Parkplatz. - Großes Hotel direkt an öffentlichem Parkplatz in sehr zentraler Lage. Die Zimmer sind modernisiert und ausreichend groß. Man kann die Fenster öffnen. Im Innenhof kann es aber durch kommende und gehende Hotelgäste recht laut werden - sonst ist es in einer ruhigen Gegend. Direkt vor dem Hotel beginnt das Bikan Viertel mit Geschäften und Lokalen.
- PEIHSUAN (9/5): - 早餐選擇多樣，中西式都有並有當地特色的醃小魚。特約停車場就是飯店對面的空地，一個晚上停車費要500日圓，退房時到飯店櫃台繳費折抵即可，算是方便！ 地點就在熱鬧的美觀地區旁，飯店里面來有營業上晚上9：30的羅森便利商店，算是生活機能不錯！ 15平米的經濟雙床房空間無法攤開兩個大行李箱，帶20吋登機箱才比較方便，所以建議有大型行李的話還是要再選擇大一點的房型。

- 澤久 (8/5): 最高です。 - 接客は丁寧で、部屋は清潔でとても居心地が良かったです。 大浴場があり、ゆったりお風呂に浸かることが出来、癒されました。 倉敷美観地区の中に位置しているので、いつまでも観光を楽しめて、特に美観地区の夜のライトアップが素敵でした。 敷地内にローソンがあり、とても便利です。 レストランに岡山名物めにゅーがあると嬉しいです。
- Suzanne (10/5): - Great spacious family room, comfortable beds and pillowd. Handy convenience store on site. We had the buffet breakfast which was fun trying new foods. Nothing, everything was great.

- Adil (9/5): Great location. Good facilities and friendly staff. - Very good location. Popular with Japanese Tourists. Great clean public bath with very warm water. Breakfast was varied and tasty. We had the “shower” room which was a bit small. The “bath” rooms are a bit more spacious.

- Roberta (9/5): ottima posizione e staff gentile - Ottima posizione in centro, Struttura un po vecchio stile ma affascinante per la sua storia. Camere nella norma considerando che abbiamo preso due letti singoli in modo fosse un po' più grande. Ottimo sento pubblico. Attenti all'ecologia.

- MARY JASMIN (10/5): - Everything, the ambiance, the design and the structure, the staff are polite and nice. The room is very clean, fresh air and nice. The amenities are good. This is my 2nd time staying here and I will keep choosing this hotel in Kurashiki. Nothing. All are perfect.
- Takumi (10/5): ゆったり充実 - 施設全体にゆとりがあり、ゆっくりできた。 大浴場があってゆったり疲れが取れた。 美観地区に近く、ゆったり観光できた。 仕方ないが、アイビーが芽吹く前だったので枯れている感があってもったいなかった。 ネオンをを巡らすなどして夜ライトアップとかできれば綺麗だと思うのですが。
- Hitoshi (8/5): エクセレント‼️ - 大浴場があってゆっくり疲れを取る事が出来た。 スタッフの方々がフレンドリーで良かったです。 また、施設内にコンビニがあり忘れ物を買い物出来た。 少し古くなっている設備があった。
- Michael (9/5): Very enjoyable stay - We loved being here in the old part of the town of Kurashiki. Everything was within walking distance. The hotel was quiet and a great place to explore Kurashiki and also Okayama ( a short local train ride away). We also went for a day trip to Hiroshima from here. The staff were helpful and friendly. a good choice for breakfast and we also had an evening meal in the restaurant on of the evenings but you needed to book. The only down side was the rooms were a little small but everything you needed was in them.

- Polly (10/5): Want to return! - Wonderful location, friendly, helpful staff, free public bath. All round great atmosphere. Breakfast was a bit expensive, but we found an amazing local cafe.
