- Itzia (8/5): Buen apartamento en una excelente zona. - Excelente ubicación, un poco confuso la cocina. No se encontró el control remoto de la TV pero pudimos usarla.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Terrible customer service and very unclean - I was looking for a cheap place in a great location, and I wish I had read the reviews better. From the start, the contact person to help with self check-in was SO RUDE! I asked to get instructions on how to get into the property and I got a short response as I was waiting outside, just trying to get into the room. I called back again and she said that the info had actually not been sent, but she would send it then. Once inside, the area itself looked similar to the pictures. It has a lot of space. But… It’s very old and dirty. The first night in the bed was disgusting and I had welts. I don’t know if they were bed bugs or what, but very red and itchy. I stayed on the couch after that. After the terrible customer service and then the bites and lack of cleanliness, I cannot recommend this place. It needs a thorough deep clean to be considered safe for guests.
- Nicole (2/5): - abbiamo soggiornato due notti ( il 12 e 13 dicembre) -reception inesistente -check in da remoto, ma ci abbiamo messo più di mezzora per accedere alla stanza -le luci dell'appartamento non funzionanti le spine, gli interruttori e le prese tutte rotte -riscaldamento non funzionante -lenzuola bucate -la finestrella del bagno affaccia sul pianerottolo interno di fronte all'ascensore sporcizia ovunque, polvere e capelli in ogni dove -la seconda mattina uno dei collaboratori ha provato a entrare a forza nell'alloggio bloccandomi la porta con il piede -il mio compagno ha contratto la congiuntivite da contatto le travi sopra il letto perdevano pezzi sulle coperte -in più punti c'erano degli approssimativi "rattoppi" di buchi sul muro fatti con pezzi di carta di giornale -la finestra della zona giorno che affaccia sulle finestre di altri appartamenti senza scuri, tende o persiane -la finestra della cucina con la tenda attaccata col nastro adesivo -pagato la tassa di soggiorno in contanti si sono rifiutati di rilasciarci la ricevuta esperienza più che pessima, sconvolgente in senso negativo
- Costantino (4/5): Da non andarci !!!!! E non consigliatelo!!! - Ho affittato un monolocale con un letto matrimoniale, 2 divani letto e cucina, proprio per stare comodo e lavorare. Il letto matrimoniale era meno di un letto alla francese messo in un sottotetto. Le foto sono misleading . Il riscaldamento era rotto ( in camera erano 15 gradi ) nessuno e’ mai venuto a controllare ( anche perche’ non c era mai nessuno alla reception e non rispondevano al contatto telefonico) . Non mi hanno nemmeno cambiato camera, per cui ho lasciato la struttura con un giorno in anticipo. Ho chiesto un refound almeno per la notte non usufruita visto il disagio e si sono rifiutati !

- imnota2022 (2/5): Unacceptable conditions and treatment, would not recommend for any reason. - Besides the location, everything about this "hotel" ranges from bad to plain unacceptable. Extremely rude (and non-existent most of the time) personnel, dirty and bathrooms without soaps are just some examples. Not worth staying even if it saves you some euros, it is a vacation ruiner.

I wouldn’t let anyone sit on it let alone sleep there without a sheet or cover. Couch was most definitely NOT a pull out bed as advertised and I got the room that was for enemies it seemed. Room C! If you get assigned that room, cut your losses and find another place!! If I had arrived earlier I definitely would have.

- muevelachichi (6/5): The good, the bad and the ugly - Just for clarity before I start: this is not a B&B - there is no breakfast (they apparently have an agreement with a bar nearby). This is not a hotel - reception is only open from 3 to 9pm. This place has definitely seen better days but if you get the right room you might say it has some kind of charm. THE GOOD Absolutely amazing location, the building’s facade is delightful and elegant. The staff we encountered were very nice natured and helpful. THE BAD Very little soap and toilet roll in bathroom - if you were there for more than 3 or 4 days you would have to ask for more as there is no room cleaning. No safe in room and no security in reception. Mean check-out time of 10am. Expensive at £130 per night given the first room we were given. THE UGLY When we arrived I found our room to be small and depressing. No wardrobe, no TV, no air com (just a fan in the corner), crummy old furniture, low quality floor coverings, tatty and grotty around the edges. Linens were fairly clean but fairly old. Cleanliness in general questionable. Our room looked nothing like any of the photos on Booking.com. On there everything looks decent enough, contemporary and spacious. Our room bore absolutely no resemblance to any of the photos and was depressing and charmless (avoid room F at all costs). Bathroom looked grim - flaking paint, evidence of mould and slight waft of drains. We enquired about changing room and we were told we could change the room but only the following day. If we wanted to change room we would have to check out the following day at 10am and then re check in the following afternoon. Therefore we decided we would see how things went and make a decision the following morning. Early the following morning I was conscious of the small of drains and a very smelly toilet. Toilet had leaked overnight and there was a sticky and unpleasant residue on the bathroom floor - disgusting. Tiles were loose around shower, hot water ran out after 1 shave and 1 shower. Toilet stank - just seemed unsanitary and unhealthy. We decided we wanted to change room and that’s when we discovered there is no reception until 3pm. We managed to get number for manager and arranged to change room. We were told it was very unusual as nobody had ever complained about the room. I didn’t appreciated being made to feel like we were being difficult, especially as the reviews here make it extremely clear how many people have found the hotel unacceptable. The second room was much better - large with high ceilings and tall windows. A wardrobe, a TV, air con and bathroom that didn’t smell. Still rough around the edges and has seen far better days but not completely unacceptable given the location.

- Getaway12580959869 (2/5): Worst place ever - I rated this a one out of five because there is not anything less. These people and this place is the worst. We checked in a day late due to our flight not arriving on time. We came in the next day (which we had already paid for and been charged), and they would not let us into our room. We left our bags, and went for a walk. Two hours later the new person at the desk said they did not know about our bags and was about to give them away!!!. She said she did not know who they belonged to. After we showed them the text message that said we would be leaving our bags, she oh, well you have them now so it's ok. We paid for 5 nights and got 4. The room was a mess. some outlets did not work. The floor was concrete. The place smelled. The water had low pressure. The front door to the complex is about just over a meter high and 1/3 meter wide. Dont ever go there.

- alicecA2714CO (2/5): Bedbugs - do not stay here - I am writing to inform you that ApArt Hotel Lupetta 5 in Milan has a bedbug infestation. I was a guest there for the past three days and I now have bites all over my face and body. The management was aware of this issue from previous reviews and they still continue to rent the rooms. This is a health and safety issue. Do not stay here.
- Duc (6/5): - Super bra läge, mitt i stan. Lite mycket väsen från gäster då rummet "satt ihop" med dörrar mellan bara. Hälften av lamporna i lägenheten funka inte så vi fick använda fiklampa i köket för att ens se på kvällarna

- Kaito (2/5): - There was a water leakage in the bathroom on the upper floor and therefore the whole lower floor of the apartment was dripping wet! To us this seems like a known problem since before we already saw some stains on the wall and ceiling, in the night we knew why. No acceptable refund was offered and we are really dissatisfied, it was a horrible experience! Customer Service is horrendous, they did not take on any responsibility for this mess...
- Simona (2/5): - Dalle foto sembra un bellissimo attico , peccato che il posto sia stato molto trascurato, la porta di ingresso si apre con una manata, la scala esterna stretta e maleodorante, ogni gradino puzza di pipì, un montacarichi per ascensore, dentro questo mini appartamento divani macchiati e impolverati, scala interna traballante , condizionatore rotto, la camera da letto piccolissima dentro spine della corrente scoperte,con finestra ed una porta che da sulla scala esterna , sicurezza per 2 ragazze zero. Bagno sporco. Abbiamo abbandonato l’alloggio dopo 10 minuti.

- Viviana (6/5): - Einmal und Nie wieder! Hier macht man kein Auge zu weil es einfach die ganze Nacht über laut ist wie am Bahnhof. Es wird kein Frühstück angeboten! Wlan Passwort funktioniert nicht. Zimmer sind sehr veraltet wie die ganze Ausstattung! Kein Fernseher... Wir waren das erste und letzte mal in Mailand hat uns nicht gefallen.
- Bat-Orgil (2/5): - It is difficult to check in after 9:30 pm. If you check in after this hour, you have to pay extra 30 eur for no reason. There is no code to enter the apartment. They ask you to pay first and then they show you where the key is over the phone. The apartment was not like in the photos. It was not cleaned well enough. See the photos I have taken as a reference. Plus Wi-Fi code s hard to obtain.
- Tom (2/5): - Customer support was awful and aggressive and I payed 30 euros extra just to come 3 hours early. Room was cold and informed them in advance that that it is cold but nothing changed and I felt cold and sick now. I have never seen such a service and room. Not clean towels.

- annagD2022GO (2/5): Very bad - Very bad experience- small room without a fridge, very old, for 3 people, one double bed and one sofa without sheets that we had to make it, the balkony was broken and dangerous and the bathroom was an old closed balkony with an balkony door for a door without Air Condition or warmness in the bathroom. No room service, the reception works only 3 pm to 9pm - the whole building smells bad and the elevator and the stairs. Internet only the first day the next they changed the passwords without telling us and we didn’t had internet. No closet in the room only a hanger to put our clothes. Absolutely disappointing with 180€ per day. The only benefit of the place is that is placed in the center of the city, near the Duomo

The shower was not clean and there was sewage smell that come out of from the bathroom, so we had to make sure to leave the toilet top closed and the bathroom door closed at all times. Also, the stairs and the elevator leading to our room smelled like urine. The light in our room, next to the door entrance, would also randomly turn on and off during the night. During the last two days of our stay, the wi-fi didn't work, which was important for us since we were working remotely. Administration called the network to resolve the issue, but couldn't get it resolved before we left. I understand that the people at the front desk can't resolve all of these issues, but the accommodation administration still needs to do major work. The only upside was that it was very close to all of the major attractions.

It’s not hygienic at all, and the reception didn’t want to speak to us after our stay and getting the allergic reaction. I haven’t received any feedback from the hotel so far
- 346ah (2/5): Not worth the hassle - Though this place is well located near the Duomo, the host was horrible to deal with. He kept nagging us that we must check in by 9.30pm or pay a €30 fee…then said if it’s any later than midnight, they may not check us in anyway. On top of that, he kept harassing us last minute to send our ID docs, even whilst I was driving. Better to go with a more courteous host given the rates one is paying
- manojmka (4/5): Not worth the money - Rooms, furniture, floor were too old. floor even had broken pieces here and there. It was too noisy in room at night as we could hear vehicles passing by, hard to sleep. There was no staff available to help in emergency at night when our door lock did not open. I messaged and called through Booking app but surprisingly no one even asked me the next day if I managed things OK!!! It was large apartment but had no kitchen. I had requested for a water kettle since beginning but had to repeatedly ask on arrival. Only plus I could give to this hotel is location but it is not worth the money.

- Paula (2/5): - Terrible, mould smell, no AC. When I got there it looked like a courtyard from a horror film. I was given the room, which had no AC, inside was very humid and couldn't breath because of the mould smell. At night, I had to leave the windows open so I could get some air coming in but I did not close an eye all night, because of the noise. The second night I was offered another apartment, which had a very aged AC which made a terrible loud noise and of course I couldn't sleep at all. The mould smell was present there too and got bitten by mosquitos. Overall, the stay was terrible.

I guess, the receptionist could had take me to my apartment but she was more interested in leave as I back there with 5 minutes and she was gone... in side of the flat was functional and clean. - Elisabeth (10/5): Highly recommended, great value for money - My friend and I stayed for 2 nights in 2019. The location is fantastic; close to all Milan has to offer. The receptionist was kind and helpful and the cleanliness of the room and shared bathrooms was a pleasant surprise. All in all, far more than what we were expecting. Very good value and recommended as a comfortable base in the heart of the city.

The shared bathroom is nicer than the actual room, which has a door that doesn’t close unless you lock it. The room is super loud and you can hear everything and there is nothing nice about this place and please don’t be fooled by the fancy FAKE pictures.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Great location and good value for money - The location of the hotel is hidden in a side street and quite hard to find, although when you know where it is, you’ll see is very close to the Main Street. This hotel is within 2 minutes walk of the cathedral and giant shopping centre. The staff were very pleasant and spoke very good English. The room was tiny, by tiny I mean literally just a bed in a room which is almost touching the walls, but if you’re like me and not actually in your room much except for when you’re sleeping then this is fine. The price of 50 pounds / 57ish euro was I thought a little steep compared to other hotels I’ve been to in Italy especially considering we were using a shared bathroom, however everything was maintained well and overall had a good experience.
- Shervin (8/5): very nice hotel right at the centre - I don't see why people are writing negative reviews forthis hotel - if you are doing a short city trip then this hotel is excellent. Sure windows are single glazed and there's some noise but it is not that bad really.. Very commutable and close to main sights. Clean facilities and friendly staff - they recommend a lot of good places to visit and restuarants to go to. The bathroom facilities is as good as a 5* hotel, very clean and modern. I'd certainly go back here if I revisit Milan. Have fun and a safe trip.

The check in experience was horrible waited an hour for 5 other groups checking in before us and some were trying to push their way in front of us who came afterward. It's one person who has to check in and show people to their rooms. It takes too much time and he needs help. The room was clean enough, but could have used more bedding and better air condition in the summer. Otherwise the quirky courtyard and entrance was nice.

- Christopher (6/5): Great experience at ApArt - I was only in Milan for one afternoon/evening before an early morning flight. It took 10+ minutes to find this place once I arrived on the street, as the sign and address number weren't very conspicuous. I knocked on the huge green door, and someone opened up a smaller door within the door. I was greeted warmly, checked in, and was even helped up the stairs with my heavy suitcase. Room is small but totally sufficient. Bathroom is shared, but was modern and functional. Some of the lights are motion sensor, which was a little confusing, flipping switches and nothing happening. (The bathroom light did shut off mid-shower, but not a big deal.) The front desk guy also gave me good info on how to get to Linate airport. I ended up walking the few blocks from hotel to Piazza del Duomo to the taxi queue. Even at 5:00 AM there was a taxi waiting there. It's only 15-20 drive to airport, and taxi cost 28 or 30 Euros.

- Richard (4/5): READ REVIEWS FIRST - This is more of an "Air B&B" set up. The guys manning the "office" were friendly, and one brought my bags up to the room. There was no real singe, and had I not stopped at the change store on the square to ask for directions, I would have been lost and particularly skeptical of the environment I was going into. It happened to be barely palatable for me, because the price was right for a quick overnight, where I was just looking for a bed to sleep in and a shower to clean up in, before catching a plane back to the US. Think shared college dorm. I would never book multiple nights there, o r frankly go back, when for ten more dollars, I could have stayed in a legitimate hotel room. If I were 18 years old, back packing around Europe with a friend, it might not have been of issue. The place was advertised as if they can somehow get $350 a night during high season. If they can, then pigs can fly too! it was as clean as it could be, under the circumstances, and I won't begrudge the innkeepers for what they have, but I won't be that cheap again. Photos on line looked much better than what it was!

- Verified traveler (4/5): Hard to find, weird. - We arrived from the train station and walked to the hotel's address but found no info to tell us that it was the right place...no hotel name. We booked a while ago and it was called Tranquilo B&B....none of this name was evident and we hadn't been informed. Fortunately a passing local took pity on us and told us the small step through door in a large door was a hotel entrance and which button to press to get reception. Reception was two people on jerry rigged computers. Fortunately the booking was right. The lift barely fitted 2 people and the room was tiny for our family of 4 with the double bed in the loft next to a closet that was the bathroom. It might have been trendy once, but books tossed carelessly on shelves around the apartment just added to the uncared for feel of the place.

- Yukio (2/5): One of the worst night stay. - I arrived 9pm at night with my family which I have 3 kids include 6 year old son. There was no one in the place and I have to ask help someone to call the person since my phone did not work in Italy even I sat up my phone available in Italy. After running around asked for help I've got touch with the person taking care of the hotel. He said keys are in the kitchen, however there was no keys available. And no WiFi log in information. So I could not contact with the responsible person. We could not go out as a all family together because there was no keys. Even I put my side problem aside. It was one of the worst night stay at place. In the future, I hope no one will have this king of issue.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Just to have a place to drop your stuff - As there are a lot of people coming from different parts of the world (with different biological clocks) there's always someone awake, plus the wooden floor creaks. Thus the rooms are very noisy. One day even we had a sort of expedition running through the rooms.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Not a Hotel or B+B! - This is NOT a Hotel! It is apartments. When we arrived we had to wait for a person to check us in only at 1500. It is called a Bed and Breakfast.........no Breakfast was provided! The apartment my family and I had, did not look like the picture so it was very misleading. When we checked in there was a huge search for our booking. I will not recommend this "hotel" to anyone! The only good thing about it was the location........400metres from the Duomo.
