- James (5/5): - Close to where we were going. We booked alerting that we had a Registered Service Dog. The hotel stated they do not take dogs even though we had a registration certificate, but would do so for this one occasion. We were in the room from 8:30 PM until 7:30 AM. Upon departing we found out that the hotel charged us $50 for "cleaning the room because we had a dog". The dog is a 7 pound poodle which has hair and not fur and therefore does not shed. She was heading to vet for surgery and was immobile during the stay in her bed. We left the room clean and tidy and there was no evidence of having a dog stay with us. At no time prior was I alerted to the fact that I would be charged extra for cleaning. Had I been so informed we would have cancelled. When I called the front desk they kept deferring to answer my complaints. I would never recommend staying at a play who does not obey the legal requirement for Service Dogs and then adding a dubious charge for such accommodations.

- Stephanie (4/5): - I liked the newly renovated room The bathroom was very clean and new . There was insufficient parking available upon arrival, which was frustrating from the beginning of our stay. When we attempted to check in, the room key did not work at first, and the employee at the front desk appeared unsure of what he was doing. It was late at night, and we were asked to sit in our vehicle while he tried to figure out the issue. I also requested to use my VISA card for the security deposit, but the employee stated he could not accept it and instructed me to use my debit card instead. I specifically asked whether the deposit would be returned immediately upon checkout, and he assured me it would. I questioned this again the following morning, and he once again told me not to worry and that the funds would be back on my card by lunchtime. When this did not happen, I contacted the hotel and was informed that the employee had provided incorrect information, and that debit card holds can actually take up to 5 business days to be released. I was then told I could speak to the employee myself when he returned that evening. This felt extremely unprofessional, especially since the staff member I spoke with acknowledged that he had apparently been corrected about this issue multiple times before and continued giving guests inaccurate information. Additionally, the office area had a very unpleasant smell and was extremely hot to the point that I felt faint and had to leave to sit in my truck while check-in was being sorted out. My partner eventually had to come into the office because the process was taking so long, and he also had to request that my identification and bank card be returned to me.

- M19C (7/5): Appreciated a quiet clean room to rest between visiting my sons and returning home. - Bed was comfortable, room decent size. Only stayed 1 night as just popping down to drop off some stuff for my sons. Bathroom small but workable and shower pressure was good. was a bit difficult to go from the parking lot to the door as built up of snow, had to either step over a small snow bank or hope you didn't slip when stepping on it (I do not take big steps when walking on snow/ice as often fall or slip and too old to do the splits lolol)

No one who has to stay here can afford to lose $300, which is why it’s crazy that they stole $300 from me
- tammy (6/5): Very clean but no sound proofing - Very clean, had a nice kitchen area. The ceilings are paper thin and you can hear every footstep, I could even hear the person snoring. Wouldn’t have been too bad if the person wasn’t walking around at all hours with what sounds like heavy boots on. Needless to say I didn’t sleep well. It’s a shame because everything else was great!

- Jodi (1/5): Most horrible experience EVER! - Nothing! I booked the room,paid for it,Twice as their booking app wasn’t working properly,& then was DENIED ACCESS TO EITHER ROOM I PAID FOR! Angela(manager) ADAMANTLY REFUSED to refund my money ,even after her night clerk assured me that BOTH rooms were cancelled & I would receive a refund the next day. Turns out,the clerk LIED ti me,& to his manager. He asked for proof my service dog was bonafide,which I provided (even though not required by law to do so,especially as we reside in a DIFFERENT province!). He agreed my dog was a bonafide service dog. Then told his manager that I refused to provide proof. They denied me either room I paid for,stating (after they agreed that my service dog is a real service dog)that they “don’t accept pets”. Angela then hung up on me repeatedly. EXTREMELY RUDE,unprofessional,dishonest,disrespectful,& thieves. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE BLACK PLAGUE!!! I had to resort to filing a Human Rights Complaint,contacting the NS Department of Justice that runs the Service Dog Act Program,& the local police. Angela refused to refund my money,I had to get my credit card company to refund me & then go back to recoup that money from this dive of a motel. Paid for TWO ROOMS…& was forced as a disabled veteran,a senior,to spend the night in my van in -18*C (before wind chill factor) snowstorm weather in the dead of night😡. We could have died,my dog & I,in those life threatening weather conditions! Apparently,this motel has frequently done this to multiple other people,so it is a definite pattern. - Tara (9/5): An impeccably clean, comfortable and recently renovated motel that ensures a good sleep! - We arrived late from the airport, and the staff were very accommodating with our arrival and helpful during our check-in. The rooms were recently renovated, and both the fixtures and complimentary toiletries exuded comfort and care. The room was impeccably clean, with attention to detail throughout. The hot shower with fresh towels went a long way -- we slept well! I usually have something, but nothing to report!

Turning left on to the highway in the morning was a bit tricky. The room was comfortable. It was close to a shopping centre if you needed anything.
