Modern. - We liked the location near the port...we had a car and didn't want to drive in Corfu center for a hotel. The walk to center was only 20 minutes, but the first part was along a busy road (which was ok). Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel was quiet. Parking was a bonus. We didn't use the pool (too chilly), but it and the pool deck were beautiful. Very good breakfast. Wonderful staff always smiling and helpful.

Our room was lovely with a beautiful view and such a comfy - We had a lovely good sized room with a really comfortable bed and nice shower and a balcony with a nice view. The fridge, kettle and safe were handy. The staff were amazing! The breakfast was really good. The swimming pool was really cold!

Nous avons demandé un taxi pour nous emmener a l'aéroport, le taxi privé commandé par la reception de l'hôtel arrive avec 30 minutes de retard sans s'excuser et facture 25 euros alors que taxi de la compagnie de taxi facture 20 euros

Janka (8/5): veľmi dobrý hotel so skvelým personálom...len tá lokalita - Chutné raňajky, pekná izba, príjemne zariadené, čistota, veľmi milý personál, prostredie hotela, vlastne všetko okrem lokality Vzhľadom na to, že sme chceli celý pobyt stráviť v meste a nepresúvali sme sa autom, lokalita nebola to, čo som očakávala. Ale to je na mňa, mala som si detailne pozrieť mapu - na nej to vyzeralo ako kúsok od nábrežia s reštauráciami a myslela som, že to budú príjemné prechádzky do centra. Ale "nábrežie" je prístav s opravou lodí pri frekventovanej ceste a potom ďalší prístav, kde sa k moru nedostanete. Ak hľadáte hotel, kde budete parkovať a odtiaľ sa presúvať autom na iné miesta Korfu, tak je to ideálne.

Sylvia (8/5): Perfect spot for catching the ferry - Lovely breakfast, good choices. Not great coffee though. Choices of week, standard or strong coffee. No latte/cappachino etc. Location was excellent. We were catching the ferry the following morning to Albania and it was a 10/15 minute walk. The hotel will arrange a taxi, taking about 3 minutes if you don’t want to walk. Although we didn’t have a chance to use, the pool area with sun beds looked great Coffee - see above

Martin (9/5): - Hochwertig renoviertes Hotel mit sehr schönem Frühstücksbereich. Qualität und Auswahl am Buffet war sehr gut. Einzig der Kaffee aus dem Automat war eher schlecht. Es gibt einige Restaurant Optionen in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu ereichen. Der Fitnessraum im Keller ist etwas älter aber gut zu gebrauchen. Leider ist das Hotel schon eher weit entfernt vom Stadtzentrum. Zu Fuß ca. 20 Minuten. Es gibt keinen vernünftigen Strandabschnitt in der Nähe wo man baden könnte.

Mechkova (2/5): Worst hotel ever - Starting with the room - bathroom was terrible, the bathroom drain was clogged and the bathroom was flooded all the time. We got two different kinds of pillows, so my husband was unlucky to get the uncomfortable one. But this was not the worst part. The walls in this hotel are mass of carton. So you basically hear everything happening in the room next to you and on the floor and at the reception desk. We heard the phone ringing at the reception like it was in our room. Because the room was next to the elevator, we were listening to all conversations happening in the night in front of our door. I would not recommend this hotel.

MarinersTours (4/5): Lovley hotel terrible room - We stayed here on a package with tui, for a week. This is a nice hotel, great breakfast, lovley colleagues in both the restaurant and bar. Perfect cleaning. Good pool area. Having already looked into the hotel we knew it was a walk into town, we went both ways from the hotel but found the Port way better for us.takes approx 30 mins, at night we walked in then got a cab back for 15 euros. It was October so we knew the weather would be mixed, a fabulous storm one night. We ate in the restaurant a few nights the food was good and reasonably priced. The hotel arranged car hire for us and we toured most of the Island over 3 days. So why the poor score, it was our room. (103) which is possibly the worst room we have stayed in for a week’s stay. We spent the whole week dancing round each other, not because it was small just the poor design. No where to put 2 cases as they carnt be stored under the bed, have to move the chair to get into the fridge, and stand on the bed to see a full length mirror. And don’t get me started on the lack of storage space. Most of the space taken up with a massive chair. So on day2 I went to reception to ask about another room, to be told “ all rooms in Greece are small” just felt that we were totally dismissed. I spoke to the rep about this as the pictures on the site are nothing like the room we had, so then we could go look at another room but what the point only 3 nights left just think the whole situation was poorly handled.

Mowgli60 (8/5): Corfu Mare Hotel - Hotel about a 30min walk from Corfu Town. Couple of nice restaurants nearby. Staff lovely. Breakfast good. Water should be provided free in the rooms. Not good for cyclists, no secure area for bikes.

RobertP7541 (10/5): Great stay, would definitely return - In my opinion this hotel is higher than a three star. Lovely room with king size bed, bathroom immaculate. 40 minute walk into Corfu town but hotel was perfect. Lovely pool area, plenty of sun beds, staff very friendly. We didn’t eat at the hotel in the evening, just bed and breakfast, but other guests at hotel said food was lovely. Breakfast great, plenty of choice. We did have club sandwich each one lunch time, very big portions. About 10 minute walk up to crossroads to catch local bus to Govia and Ipsos. You can also catch bus here to Corfu Town. Would definitely stay here again if returned to this area of Corfu.

B1656ELrobertb (10/5): This hotel is outstanding - This small hotel is an absolute gem,nice garden and swimming pool,plenty of sun loungers.The staff in the restaurant are friendly and know there stuff,food excellent as was the breakfast choice.The room was cleaned every day to a very high standard,excellent hot shower and space for clothes.On reception Christina and Olga always helpful with a smile and able to answer any questions,tip if you plan to use the local bus( 20 minutes into old town ) buy you tickets at reception half price.The hotel is set back from main road,300 yards up slight incline,3 nice eating places ten minutes walk away.One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in

Antje (6/5): - Die Lage in der Nähe zum Hafen ist gut. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Der Abfluss der Dusche war verstopft. Nach dem Duschen stand das Bad unter Wasser. Für einen Daueraufenthalt ist das Zimmer zu klein und zu wenige Ablagemöglichkeiten für Klamotten.

Murphy (8/5): Very enjoyable and made so by facilities and the attentive staff at hotel. - Breakfast was very good with wide variety/choices available. Restaurant was also good with sensibly priced good quality freshly cooked food. Pool excellent although weather restrained use. Room very good subject to comment below. Absence of enclosed wardrobe space in standard double room. Just open rails as Ibis etc. short term stay hotels, which Corfu Mare is not.
Rony (7/5): לא שווה את המחיר - לא ממש הרבה.. ארוחת הבוקר היתה בסדר גמור המזרנים פשוט בלתי מתקבלים על הדעת ! אי אפשר היה לישון עליהם.. ישנתי על הספה הייתי מצפה במחיר כזה לקבל לפחות מיטה נוחה !

bilco99 (10/5): Beautiful Hotel - Situated in a quiet residential area just outside the town it is a good 45 minute steady walk into town or a €15 taxi ride The hotel is of excellent quality and all within it will make you as a guest more than happy The restaurant is of extreme delight but does have a very limited menu Breakfast is top class Rooms are well decorated and comfortable The pool is large enough to cope very easily The staff are a credit to their profession All in all a pleasure to have stayed with them for 10 nights And as an added bonus thank you for the lovely gifts placed in our room as we celebrated our wedding anniversary As s foot note many if not all the guests were of an age — this hotel is NOT suitable for a younger clientele Bill & Catherine

U6038TNmarkc (10/5): Yamas!!! - A fantastic holiday in every way. Corfu Town is about a 25 minute walk away or a 10 minute taxi ride (between 12 and 15 euros), and is the most beautiful of places to visit, with winding cobbled streets filled with shops and tavernas selling locally made goods and delicious food. The hotel itself is fab - clean, comfortable, friendly, fantastic food, lovely pool and terrace area where you can chill (no kids!), but the most outstanding thing of all is the staff. They make you feel valued as a guest, nothing is too much trouble, they are all so friendly and helpful. I always feel this is the best measure of an establishment, so thanks to Olga and the front desk team, the ever smiling housekeepers, the kitchen for producing delicious breakfasts and dinners, but most of all, thank you to Vasiliy, Olga, Marina and Eleni, the bar and dining room staff, for being so friendly and excellent at what they do. We will be back, yamas!!!
BostonNix (10/5): Fabulous staff make this hotel special - We were very pleased with our three night stay which we felt was just the right amount of time. The staff at the front desk were fantastic and could answer any question and help with any need. Christina arranged for our transfer from the airport which was a real help since the traffic was really bad. One day we toured the Old Town and it is true: take a right out of the hotel and walk through the neighborhood. The port route (a left out of the hotel) is very sad. Another day the hotel rented us an adorable Fiat 500 and we toured the north of the island. A nice range of options for breakfast. The dinner we had at the hotel was good as well. The pool is lovely and refreshing after a hot day sightseeing. My only complaint is that the hotel pool towels are threadbare and they will not replace them on a daily basis. If you are spending a lot of time by the pool, you may want to bring your own towels. And it is true that guests claim their sunbed early in the morning, but there always seem to be beds available on the shady side. There is a minimart at the foot of the hill and a little way to the right. Not really any enticing restaurants close by.
James (8/5): - Attractive grounds, pool, and communal areas. Air conditioning issues during first stay dealt with well by the professional team. Room had everything needed and comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Room felt compact at the price point, although perhaps more reflective of Corfu generally. Struggled to avoid mosquito bites in room, during both visits, despite using trusted anti-mos devices.

Mallaury (8/5): - Accueil correct et logement conforme à la réservation. Le gros point positif : le calme, idéal pour bien se reposer. L’hôtel bénéficie également d’un bon emplacement, pratique pour se déplacer et profiter des environs.
Aires (4/5): - Overall staff warm and welcoming but let down by not addressing issues at all when raised by us the day we arrived. Early evening we explained the shower tray fills up with water which is unhygenic and thoroughly unplesant having to stand in a pool of water that collects around your ankles because it's not draining away properly. The shampoo bottle kept on the ground where the water collects. The only forthcoming response we got was they would mention it to the cleaner. Overheard another couple report the very same concerns to the hotel reception staff so they are well aware of this issue but no attempt or offer to move us to another room. The smell in the bathroom was stuffy and smelt of urine as the floors are not properly cleaned. Luckily we only had to stay one night as I simply couldn't bring myself to use the facilities on the day we were leaving. Also a very uncomfortable sleep due to only having one very thin pillow each and no spares to be found in the room. Equally troubling was the very noisy room ceiling fan which is great to have as long as it doesn't sound like a police siren and this was still preferable to the noisy aircon. So this lack of attention and care to act on feedback or check for issues like the fan that just needs tweaking is fustrating. Hotel breakfast was average. Very disappointed with the whole experience and feel terribly cheated for the room rate we paid, so defintely can't say it was good value for money either.
