Guest Reviews
- Hector (5/5): Won’t be returning due to rude staff. - Comfortable stay. Big bed and room. Staff was rude about complimentary tea/coffee supplies and now have a policy against using Chime accounts even though I have used my account there multiple times previously and have never had any issues with any other hotel as I travel for work and have had the same bank account for 10+ years.

- Brenda (5/5): - Our room was located next to an outdoor gathering area with loud booming music causing vibrations in the room.
Went to front desk to speak with someone and was told that they should stop about 10pm. Luckily that stopped about 9pm. We were given handicap room that we did not ask for and the bathroom was not clean and lacked enough towels.

- Roger (1/5): Will not stay again!!!! - Breakfast ok, but no bacon! No ice machines!!!!! Not placed close to the elevators as requested. Two bulbs out in the room. No exhaust fan in the bathroom to let out odors! Place needs serious help!!
- Brian (10/5): -
- Rodney (2/5): Not good! - Was supposed to be ready at 7:00 am was not ready and we needed to leave. Place was not clean. When we got to the room the door was open. we heard the TV on thought someone was a;ready in this room. Turns out the door broken and the key cards would not work and door would only stay shut if you locked from the inside. The place was falling apart. doors missing handles , handles hanging off doors. The carpets in stairs looked liked they had not been vacummed in months. No is machine. I could go on but whats the use. We had reservations in three Choice motels on this trip. One was so bad after seeing how bad the outside looked I asked to see a room and it was so bad we cancelled that reservation. Never again will we stay in any motel in the Choice chain. Two of these should be torn down.

- Longoria (7/5): - The only thing the morning I woke up to have breakfast. Around 7 a.m they ran out of regular coffee and said they have no more! And in your room their was only 1 caffeine package and 3 caffeine. I wetness people were upset. That was not right to not have caffeine coffee while it's continual breakfast? Not good ☕👎 The price was decent and affordable.
- Delvin (10/5): Sleep was accomplished - Concierge Customer service
- Susan (3/5): Won't be back - breakfast was best part Rusted lamps, socket broken where air conditioner plugged into, no towels, no ice, tv did not work, fire alarm going off at 10:30pm - and discover phone did not work, evening staff was good morning staff not so much at front desk
- Julie (10/5): -
- Paula (1/5): N/a - Clean and location I had asked for a property that was pet friendly. The site indicated this was. When I checked in I was informed NO DOGS. The clerk said this had happened to prior customers too. He cancelled my reservation immediately. When I asked for help in locating a hotel that accepted pets he kindly referred me to the Hilton Home 2 Home next door. This was the only pleasant experience.
- Donata (8/5): - There was a hot breakfast bar. The room was clean and comfortable. The gym equipment was out of service.
- Jeremiah (4/5): Could be netter - Bed was clean. Had ants in the room. Couldn't get a response from the company with relation to early out. Can't get a formal receipt for money spent.

- Terrance (10/5): AWSOME - Everything were great I didn't see anything I didn't like
- Sam (1/5): Disgusting - Nothing about our stay here was good The dirtiest place i have ever found. This wasn't even the cheapest hotel in the area. The smell of the entire place was horrible. 2nd floor had to be the worst. The washing machine worked on the 2nd floor but not the dryer, the dryer one the 3rd floor worked but its washer was broken.
Our bathroom was so nasty, floors not cleaned nor the sink, walls looked like bleach was poured on the walls to cover up a murd*r scene. The shower had no cold water at all so the water just scalds your body. The shampoo was completely empty, there was the old bar of soap in the corner of shower, the shower floor was so nasty we had to use cleaner and wash it ourselves.
Our coffee pot had an old use coffee pouch in it that we couldn't pull out and mold, the fridge had a full beer can in it. The headboard under the tv had stains all over it. The table under the tv had filth all over it. The carpet was stained all throughout the room.
We got there at almost midnight or we would have tried getting our money back but we just needed to sleep a few hours.
The public mens restroom on the 1st floor had not been clean since God knows when, can sodas everywhere urine all over the floor and toilet, sex trafficking signs on doors to report to local police.
The gym was even more disgusting, nothing to clean the weights with after use, the only weight equipment they had was dumbbells, treadmill wasn't plugged in and the elliptical was solid rust..
The food was gross, cold and everything that the food was in came broken.

- Orlo (10/5): No ICE - NO ICE FOR OVER A YEAR
Front desk was great. I needed a plate and she provided one for me. Also got some ice for me. Just enough for a cup of water.
Great area if you have a truck and trailer. Lots of room in a secure area.
- John (10/5): - Very!! Large and comfortable!!
- Anthony (4/5): - Poor water pressure. None of the ice machines were working. Room smelt moldy, like wet clothes.
- Gail (8/5): BIG Disappointment in Staff
Should have rated the whole experience a 7.not an 8. - The bed very comfortable. Lack of attention with staff at desk & no ice. My 85 y/o Aunt went down to get ice because there was no ice on 2nd floor. I think she could have been accommodated.
Also I stayed the weekend through Monday. I called Sunday to ask about breakfast time, she said 7- 10a.m. So I went down. Monday, I went down after 9, thinking I would get breakfast & the guy said in weekdays, only until 9 am. That could have been posted. Also, I went down another evening & a young man was loitering with the staff person. Also, when my Aunt went down to ask for the ice, the staff person was asleep. Not acceptable.
The thing I am most upset about is I booked Thursday - Monday (4 nights). When I left to see my Aunt on Saturday,-all day- I left a $5 tip (with 2 pieces of chocolate even ) I had asked for extra towels, BUT the bed was not made, which I love to come back to, garbage was not emptied. So, the next morning on Saturday, I went out again . I left another $5 tip & whoever was assigned did not even come in my room., so I took the tip back & didn't leave anymore.
I had invited my Aunt up ( who had gone to get ice,) .
I was totally embarrassed as NOTHING was taken care of. They didn't take the tip. I know maids work hard, so it was my pleasure to give extra. The whole scene about the room not being cleaned & bed not being made was a big disappointment. That is actually one of the things I enjoy about staying at a first rate hotel. returning to a clean room. I didn't think of taking pictures.
Anyway, I probably sound like a Karen but I felt strongly enough to report this. Also, FYI. I think if the staff sees a 68 y/on woman with a cane, pushing a luggage cart, someone could have assisted them. My car was right outside in handicapped parking.
I would have gladly tipped them.
Oh well,.I guess chivalry is dead.
I really enjoy Holiday Express Hotels. Maybe next time, things will improve.
- Nita (6/5): - The bathroom had spots that were not clean around the shower door. The faucet needs a new aerator. The bathroom tissue roll was almost empty when we arrived, and there were no extra rolls. I called the front desk, the said they would send some up, but it never came. My husband had to go down & get it. The food at breakfast was ok, but what i ate had to be reheated first.
- Lauren (6/5): - It’s definitely older and they’re making improvements, but it definitely didn’t feel the cleanest.
- Ashley (6/5): - Bathroom wasn’t very clean but the room was ok. It was good enough for one night.
- Gregory (6/5): - No ice and hotel was under renovation
- Shakera (2/5): - Terrible customer service, no ice machines. Children stomping til midnight. Never again

- Lakendrick (8/5): -
- Amanda (6/5): Ok - The hotel was under renovation according to the sign on the door. The walls were thin and could hear all of the things happening next door…The shower pressure was weak. The shower wasn’t very clean. The wall was peeling in the bathroom. The lotion by the sink had fallen off of the wall. The large light in the bathroom did not work. The ice machine on our floor did not work. The breakfast was pretty good. The waffle mix one morning was sour, but fine the next morning. The outside grounds were well kept, but the inside needed some cleaning. It was an ok stay; we would stay somewhere else next time.
- Jequema (10/5): Perfect - Nice and clean N/a
- Randal (9/5): -
- Beverly (8/5): - It was a nice hotel, everything clean and very nice. We left out too early for breakfast but I’m sure it would be great
- Thomas (6/5): - The price is great. There has been renovations going on for the past few years. Overall I would stay again. The breakfast was great. The lady who worked in that area was awesome. Food was fresh and hot she kept everything stocked. She was nice
- Charles (2/5): - All ice machines no functioning. Almost all washers and dryers non working. Staff was nice enough to get us ice cubes from home freezer trays in the kitchen. Saw people scrounging thru trash looking for tin cans and food (?). Saw maintenance man chase a young man saying he was going to call the police. Motel is almost impossible to find with GPS. Behind other motels and no sign to see. Had to get directions on the phone from the nice lady on the desk at 8 pm. I would never recommend this motel to anyone.
- Cicely (10/5): - Nice staff and clean rooms
- Lou (6/5): Good, but Changes Needed - It was high 90’s and the ice makers were broken on floors 2&3. First floor ice maker was empty.
The toilets were the small round ones and were low and unstable. Need to be replaced and upgraded.
Breakfast was nice and food was nicely arranged.
- annabelle (7/5): - Le lave linge à l étage et le confort des lits Grosse fuite d eau sur le lavabo.
- Stuart (2/5): - Hotel is terrible. Needs a lot of repairs and cleaning throughout. Receptionist seemed annoyed that I rang the bell after waiting for 10 minutes to check in since no one was around. One word questions and answers is all I got out of here.
I definitely don’t recommend staying here
- Gabrielle (5/5): -
- Celeste (10/5): - This location was easy accessible to interstate and restaurants
- Susan (1/5): I will not stay here again. - Close to interstate/highway.
Kind one person staff member. Dirty.
Needs structure repairs.
- Wayne (10/5): - Stayed here many times.
- Ayuna (10/5): - It was very nice and clean
- Monica (6/5): Disappointed - As a choice member I have reasonable expectations for each of the brands but our stay at this location started off with an arrival at approximately 10pm and I was the only guest checking in, but the front desk clerk could not remember her password and it took her 35 minutes before she finally called her superior who assisted her. Also this location requires a $100 deposit at check in but that wasn’t mentioned at the reservation which I did via hotels.com. When we got to the room we were exhausted from our 5 hour drive but the room was dank, the carpet and furniture were dirty. The drywall around the A/C unit had evidence of water damage and what appeared to be mold
Since we were only there for 1 day we just dealt with it
- Richard (2/5): Very disappointing - Bathroom had no fan or overhead light working. Fridge wasn’t cleaned-food/milk left behind. Strong marijuana smell in elevator and near our room. No working ice machines. The window in our room looked to be ready to fall out and there was black dirt on the sill. The curtains were gross-looked like someone had burned them or thrown coffee on them. TV screen had 8+ spots where the LED lights weren’t working properly.
On a positive note, the staff was friendly!
- John (8/5): - Room was comfortable and clean.
- Jason (4/5): - Small pillows, broken ice machine.
- Nancy (6/5): - .
- MICHAEL (9/5): -
- Anthony (6/5): - Be aware that they require a $100 deposit prior to getting the key. When I ask when they started that, I was told they always did it. I've stayed at Sleep Inns before and never had to leave a deposit. Property was on the older side, but they were doing remodeling. I like the walk in showers but this one needed the grout replaced due to mold. The bed was great! They didn't have a person manning the breakfast so the desk receptionist was putting out the food and watching the front desk. The result, some items were not replenished and part of the coffee machine was not working.
- Susan (1/5): We will never stay at a Sleep Inn and Suites again!!! - Location is the only good thing. Shower drain clogged so water was all over the floor. “New” room had food/drink from last guest, ants crawling all over window sill, dirty/spotted floor, bathroom toilet and floor were dirty, shower towel rack dented, hole in bathroom door, door to room could be pushed open which was creepy, and patched hole behind room door was roughly done with no sanding.
- Jeremy (6/5): - My first room had no cover on the shower drain, the flat screen was going out and the backlights were showing through. Tv was the same in the second room. Getting the replacement room was a little difficult and time consuming. Breakfast was pretty good and had a good variety of choices.
- Suzie (8/5): Very good -
- Calvin (8/5): - This was a wonderful stay. We have stayed here on other occasions when it was available for booking.
- Pamela (8/5): Nice except for food. - Room was nice, clean. I slept well. Breakfast was lacking. We got there at 8:15 and everthing was pretty much gone. No coffee, milk tasted funny. Eggs were dried up.
We were the only ones there so everyone must come early. Hate to put out food that hets wasted but would be nice if late eaters got something.
- Melissa (8/5): - The hotel was very quiet which helped us get a good night’s rest. It is centrally located close to shopping and restaurants. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- WILLIAM (2/5): - Bed bugs sheets dirty . I chose not to stay here again .
- Verified traveler (4/5): Never again - I want to answer this as professionally as possible but this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The young woman who checked me in had zero customer service skills and was very aloof and rude to my niece when she wanted to make a purchase of snacks for her small children. The room smelled HORRIBLE, like someone had done a perm or hair color recently. The bathroom was horrendous. The floor was not swept. There was one towel on the rack and someone had left a dirty hand towel on the light fixture. The shower drained slowly and overflowed into the main area badly, soaking my clothes dripping wet because there was no where to hang or place them before stepping into the shower. The overall vibe of this hotel is just very low standards and not worth what we paid but it was late and we had tired kids so it was not worth the effort to change hotels. Meridian is a layover stop for us about once a year but I will definitely avoid this hotel in future trips. Hopefully someone with good attention to detail will be able to get this place in better shape. Sorry for such a brutally honest review but it is what it is.
- Michael (6/5): Pleasant -
- Justin (2/5): Meh - Breakfast was ok Cockroaches in our room,, un vacuumed floor and a shower drain that wouldn't barely drain
- Will (10/5): Exceptional - Room was large and clean and comfortable.
- Tawaika (10/5): - Traveling and we had been on the road for 14 hours. I planned to stay 6-7 hours, but it was so comfortable I decided to stay longer.
- Sabine (8/5): - Room was nice not stuffy. Clean bathroom!! Best was the spacious breakfast room
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
