- Brian (4/5): Very disappointing stay - Almost everything about the hotel was misrepresented. The price was excellent, but had to pay extra for my children because the reservation got screwed up. There is only one pool, not two. No towels provided and the pool was too cold to swim. The breakfast was Vietnamese only, no western food except eggs and bread. The tours provided were very poor quality, they use word games to describe what you get, so when they fail to deliver what they promise, they have an excuse to not resolve the problem. For example, on their 4 "island" tour, they actually give you 4 stops. So lunch at a low quality floating restaurant is considered an "island". The room was big and had a beautiful view, but the bathtub didnt have a shower curtain and a shower resulted in a flooded floor with no drainage. All in all a very disappointing experience. If the price wasn't so low, it would have been infuriating. This is not a 3.5 star hotel. More likely a 2.5 star.
- Yong (2/5): - The poorest staff ever. They do not know where things are around the hotel, and very unwilling to help you. They do not speak English, only bit of Russian. It seems like only job they are assigned to do is check in and check out. Very disappointed overall.

A delux seaview room actually look at the roof of the next buildings with barely a glance of the sea. Old style room. The staff was good but the system is bad. Friendly but not helpful. Buffet wasnt great . I stay for 2 nights 3 days and they barely clean the room, or change the sheets, just few fold-up cover on the bed. Wasnt horrible but defintely not a 4 star. Very average and not worth the money

- ksasea (6/5): Very disappointed in this hotel - This hotel was booked by our tour company. Room was very very small, and beat up. The desk drawer didn't close, the counters were water stained as was the little side table. Chairs were faded and cigarette burned. Bathroom was ok. Shower was large. We complained about the broken desk drawer (which hit at hip level every time we walked by) and they insisted they had no other rooms. The desk sent a bellman up to wedge a business card in the desk drawer to keep it shut. Once our tour guide made some inquiries, miraculously an available room appeared. It wasn't any better, just no burns on the chairs. Staff was not helpful, they never smiled. Also, no hand towels and they were adamant about using your room towels for the pool. Pony up the Dong and buy a towel for the beach or pool, don't dare use the hotels. The pool was very small, on the top floor and only 2 lounge chairs. It did look like there was a place to get a beer by the pool. Breakfast was ok. The food looked a little tired and the baked goods seemed to be "day old". Coffee was never hot unless you got the very bottom of the urn. Unfortunately we were here for 4 nights. I would not recommend this place. Pay the extra money and get a nicer place.
- TenVK (2/5): Totally disappointed with this hotel - Just check-in and disappointed already. Paid for a Deluxe Seaview room that obviously cost more, but what we got is nothing more than a glorified “building view” room with an angle view of the sea. The room is illogically furnished with 2 double beds that squeezes all other remaining walk way away, even the waste basket cannot be placed on the floor as there is no freaking available space for it. As for the 2 seats, it is for show only- you can’t seat there without knocking your knees against the bed. The air-conditioning is a touch and go affair. At most times, the air outside is cooler. I immediately told my agent about it and the hotel offered to upgrade 1 room to a proper Seaview room, but the entire episode has dampen my spirit for Nha Trang. People, please look else where if you want to enjoy this lovely seaside resort town of Nha Trang. I have advised my agent to disengage them.
- skinsterQueensland (2/5): Do not recommend - Upon checkin we were given a room which smelt strongly of cigarette smoke phined to advise reception and girl hung up phone on me. We then went to reception and found manager and assistants to be very unhelpfull in fact rude. Told we should just open the room window. Our tour guide assisted us with communication with reception staff who were so rude telling us no other rooms were available in whole hotel. When my husband told them we were leaving she suddenly found us a room grim faced and very grumpy she was not at all happy to provide us with another room. Breakfast is really not worth having no milk they refuse to give you a teabag no jam or cereal once again had to ask staff to put out fruit which was behind counter. Rooms are below average and do not expect a good sleep as pillows are like large rocks under your head. If you need a beach towel good luck with that they want to check your room first to make sure you don't already have a towel. Trying to get a roll of toilet paper was another challenge altogether. It seems this hotel is on extreme budget with the simplest of things like toilet roll a bother for them to provide. Also upon arrival you are dropped off on the other side of a four lane roadway with non stop traffic you have to drag your luggage and take your life in your own hands to get across 4 speeding lanes of traffic without assistance as tgere are no lights its only a matter of time till someone gets hit. I would not be returning and suggest you look into accommodation prior to booking this sub standard hotel

Secondly, when I asked somewhere to eat some local food, they said they don'y know. Breakfast were Ok not really good. I like the view and the room but staff made me so disappointed.

The breakfast is OK but the staff can't speak a lot of English. The view from the rooftop bar is spectacular but the service is hit & miss

- lehoainhatrang (8/5): New, modern and spacious room - I've recently stayed in this hotel. Pro: It is located on Tran Phu street with good access to the beach and any traffic. Room is new, modern and spacious with hot shower and nice view. Breakfast is good with plenty of choices. Cons: Receptionists and staffs are not professional and not helpful. Quy Nhon is my next stop in Vietnam and no one in reception can organize or know how is the best to reach there. I ended it up with finding solution by myself. Having breakfast in 18th floor, I notice that staffs are making a group and taking quite loud. They need to be trained and improved. However , I had a good stay
- phuongd603 (6/5): Okay, good value for the money - I stayed here for 4d3n, which is a good length for a thorough review. ROOM: The ocean view room is nice and clean at the first sight. However, when I checked some of the drawers, they were dirty and seemed like they've never been cleaned before. The bathroom is just okay, though it can be cleaner. The room here is not noise-isolation/reduction so if you have loud neighbors, it would be annoying. Bedding is decent. AC is good. BREAKFAST: It is a hit and miss. Breakfast can be decent on one day but not the next day. They have a good selection of western and Vietnamese foods. POOL: The pool is very small. It also looks like it's never been cleaned so I would not recommend it. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here. It is a good value for the money.
- J4939HJmichaelp (10/5): Excellent hotel for the money - I booked on-line with Agoda, when I arrived t he hotel upgraded the room to ocean view for free. The view was fantastic. The room was very modern, clean and obviously very well maintained. In fact, I liked the room so much that I extended my stay. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is fine as well. One of the best hotel rooms that I stayed in while traveling in Vietnam.
- Joe (8/5): Wider Frontal View, about 30 feet wide - Fair to good deal for a room with that kind of hotel. We had 3 guys for about $58 included tax. Room is ocean view and it's great view. Breakfast is good, I think.
- Cindy (4/5): Good amenities, poor service - Located on Tran Phu, the street that is facing the beach, you have the convenience of restaurants, convenience stores, hawkers, coffee shops and tour agencies. The room itself is a comfortable size, and the breakfast buffet plentiful. The service however is poor. You will see the receptionists chit chatting amongst themselves, they won't acknowledge you. For 2 out of my 3 days there the wifi did not work, they offered no apologies. The only person that was professional and courteous was the bellboy, always greeting and asking about your day. I have stayed at many hotels in Vietnam, I have to say this was the poorest customer service I encountered.

Just 2 minutes walk cross the road in front to the beach. There are several mini mart near by and down from the lobby to the road very convinience and comfortable!
- 426henryw (8/5): Don't panic its not the international airport. - I had booked the hotel through booking.com and upgraded to a seaview room and chose the non refundable option. After booking I then searched goggle maps to find that there is an airstrip behind the hotel. Don't panic as I was reliably informed that the airstrip is not being used and that the international airport was 30 minutes away. The room was spaceous, clean and there was superb sea view. The bathroom floor did get wet after a shower but this was simply solved by using the bath mat. I especially enjoyed the noodle soup breakfast which is exactly what you need on very hot days although there are other options from the buffet. One practical touch was the supply of black flip flops which we used to cross the road to the beach. The only problem we encountered was crossing the road outside the hotel to the beach. The drivers and scooter riders seem chaotic but there is an unwritten understanding and once mastered crossing a Vietnamese road is not so terrifying. Having said that, the street vendor outside the hotel did rescue my wife from the central reservation. I would recommend the hotel for its closeness to the beach, superb views, cleanliness and friendly staff. Finally learn to cross the road safely and to go to the beach before it gets too hot. When taking a taxi there are two Majestic hotels. You need to ask for the Majestic Star.

Hotel staffs are pretty helpful; they can help you find good deals on local activities and transportation. The breakfast buffet is decent, ranged from Western to Asian cuisine with good menu variety.
- Sai_Truong (6/5): Average Hotel - New but has shortcomings to be a good hotel - We book a room here on Agoda for the weekend in March 2016. We booked a ocean view room but got a room at the back with 1/2 a view of the ocean. Not sure if that is what they call an ocean view but not what we were expecting. Pros: Good location on Tran Phu street, good price, decent sized rooms, good A/C, good wifi. Cons: Bad smell in washroom coming from drains, need more hooks in washroom, need a place to put shampoo & stuff in the shower, the free breakfast was not appealing (limited selection) and quality was so so. Overall an ok place if you're on a budget. I'll try other hotels next time as there are so many to choose from in Nha Trang and this hotel has some short comings.
- Christine (6/5): Average hotel - I stayed in an ocean view suite which had a great view - if you are standing up. The view cannot be seen from sitting on a chair or in the bed. The room was nice and big with lovely natural light. The breakfast was below average. Overall it is a big impersonal hotel which is very close to the beach and only a short walk to popular restaurants and shops.

- MaxMaya (6/5): A Locally Run Hotel With No Frills - Our first time in Nha Trang and the experience flying to this beach destination with VietJet Airlines was a nightmare. Delayed without even informing us via email or text, poor service at the counter and maybe, the local culture does not encouraged queuing at the boarding gates! I would highly recommend flying Vietnam Airlines though the flights schedules are limited into Nha Trang but knowing your flight and luggage will arrive on time as indicated. Getting a taxi from the Nha Trang airport are aplenty. A note of caution though - ensure it is a metered taxi or expect to have a hard time negotiating on the rates. Nha Trang is indeed beautiful especially the kilometers of beach. A reminiscence of Bali or Phuket way back in the early 70s. What's amazing is the government has ensured that no high rise buildings are built on the first ring road i.e. one has an awesome view of the beach and ocean from any of the many hotels and resorts available. Majority of the hotels are locally managed with some international hotel brands available. We decide to stay in a locally managed hotel, The Majestic Star. We expect nothing of a 5 star value and welcome the local culture within the hotel. Since our flight was delayed and we arrived after midnight, don't expect porter services or a smiling front office staff. Our check-in was done smoothly. However, we had difficulties in communicating. The staff's English was limited. and our Vietnamese was non-existence. Our rooms was big and looks outdated and there were pockets of empty spaces that we believe was missing furniture. Nevertheless, it was clean and they provide free WIFI!.TV channels were limited and sadly the Hollywood movies available le.g. HBO was dubbed in Vietnamese. It was a monotone, singular person dubbing! When we woke up in the morning, the view of the beach and ocean was amazingly beautiful! Thanks to the large windows in our rooms.We were told that only some rooms have such windows. Breakfast was nothing to shout about but good enough to fill your tummy. Just don't wear your best clothes for the day cos the air circulation in the breakfast room was poor. Thus, one will exit the breakfast room with the smell of the food on your clothes. Nha Trang requires walking to visit the areas fronting the beaches. There are plenty of tour shops if you want to book a specific tours i.e. visit to temples etc. Best if you can rent a bicycle. However, please be careful with the traffic as the locals don't believe in giving way to cyclists or pedestrians. Nha Trang is known for their seafood. So ask the Front Desk for directions. You need to get a taxi though. Overall, we had a good stay at the Majestic Star. They have a roof top bar but it was not in operations. The view up there is gorgeous especially in the night. However, there is loads of improvement to be done on the service and the standards.

- PerthBlueSky (4/5): The photos are nicer than reality - This hotel is located on the main tourist strip, opposite the beach. Reception staff didn't give out good vibes. They hardly smiled. Rooms were clean but had stale air. The kids' Executive Triple Sea View room even had a lingering sewer stench. Quite unpleasant. Bathroom was clean and looked ok. At first glance, the breakfast buffet looked like a wide spread. But the food did not look freshly cooked when you flip the covers open. Bread was not even served with jam. Congee was offered without any condiments. There were 1 pot tea, 2 pots coffee and 1 pot hot water. Coffee was quite good, if you pour from a warm pot! Thank goodness there was a staff who would cook fried or scrambled eggs. Pool was small. Kids complained that the water was cold. They didn't stay long in the pool.

The view is spectacular, no buildings obstructing your view of the ocean. You can go to the 18th floor rooftop pool for an even better view. The location is great. The beach and ocean is literally across the steet. For some reason, my laptop joined the wifi network, but I couldn't surf, but I hardwired to the router in the hallway and I was able to go online fine. The cyclo drivers outside will tell you their fares are low, but they primarliy make money from kickback comissions from seafood restaurants and tour bookings.

- NavneetJaspal81 (8/5): Good Location and Helpful staff - We had booked on the net Agoda as Superior room and when we get there at 11.35 am we got upgraded to sea view room.... Damn that was awesome Start and we got 2 days breakfast buffet as well. The hotel is up standards and maintained very nicely This hotel reallyhas good and staff is helpful u can by tickets of Vinpearl from them which includes every thing including the cable car both ways. You should stay in Nha Trang stay here and this is centrally located as well and 2 mins walk from the beach as well
- khoadn165 (6/5): Good view and it is the only thing good - My room has ocean view which was really good of this hotel. Good location and convenient to walk around to the central park or sailing club and other restaurants. But the hotel services are so freaking bad, the worst among all 3 stars hotels that I ever been to. 1. Room not clean, very sandy on the floor when check in, still have long hairs around in the room or on the bed. 2. Room doesnt have tissue paper, only has toilet paper, plastic bags containing toiletries are so hard to open. 3. Food are not bad, but there is strong food smell after breakfast everytime (I suggest you do not showere bfore eating breakfast) 4. Wifi is so bad in the room. 5. Pool is small and quite dirty (maybe bcos it was raining season) Staffs are friendly. Overall Im still quite satisfied with the room because of good view and good location.
- 729vickyt (6/5): Good location - Good location. This hotel locates in front of the beach. There are many booking offices and restaurants nearby. Rooms are just basic, but clean. I stayed at deluxe room with sea view. It's a good view. Receptionists are helpful, too.
