Guest Reviews
- Laurie (8/5): - It was centrally located and it seemed to be the most reasonably priced. The people were really nice.
- william (10/5): give it a 10 out of 10 will come back - proximity to town
comfort of beds
great staff
great parking
breakfast was good not huge but enough
parking offsite but convenient parking a bit limited

- Timothy (10/5): -
- Terry (6/5): Not worth what it cost - The location The pillows were way too big. Not comfortable at all. Need more blankets. No lounge chair. No clock. The breakfast was a joke. All junk. Nothing healthy. No fresh fruit. Big disappointment.
- donnasC6244ZW (4/5): Should have been amazing… - We booked the suites. Had no idea that the suites were not in the hotel but down an alleyway. So out we go into the snow, schlepping our luggage a block to an uninviting glass door. Once in, NO elevator, just a double set of skinny stairs. Then my husband has to walk back to the car and park it a couple blocks away because there is no parking. The room was nice enough, with a beautiful fireplace that we could not access because there was no remote. No remote for the blinds either. Called the front desk and she didn’t believe us! She made absolutely no attempt to help us operate either of these. … no ice in the building.
Nice Shower, comfy bed. Great location.
Got to check out Saloon Number, super cool. But don’t eat upstairs. Not good.
- Bessie (8/5): Thank you for the pet friendly room . - I loved that I had a room on the main floor due to having my pet with me and I have back issues . so that was nice . I also loved most of the staff . I didn't have a place to eat in my room other than the bed also would have been nice to have a do not disturb door hanger and a booklet of things to do and places to eat. when checking in the first time I was not welcomed with the best customer service instead I was told to hold on and that he had to tell me a big list of things about my key cards and parking which would have been fine but the way it came off was I was not really welcome. I will say the lady and the older gentlemen had exceptional customer service and very friendly. so, thanks for that. all in all, it was a very okay Ish stay
- Kenneth (10/5): -

- Aubrey (9/5): Great location. Rooms small but updated and comfortable. - Location is unbeatable. Updated rooms. Rooms are small for the price. Not a lot of extras.
- Tracy Rogge (9/5): - Everything was great, except the street noise the next morning. If I stay here again I will request an interior room. Street noise
- Tina (5/5): Acceptable for a long weekend trip. - Bed was comfortable. Location is good. Shower pressure good. Nice large bathroom. Missing a trash can in the room and staff said they didn’t have one to give us. Breakfast is pancakes, cold cereal and fruit cups only. No eggs. No type of meat. Shower floor was so un-level that water didn’t drain and pooled in one corner. Parking is horrible. Vehicles are allowed to park in the center of the lot and blocked vehicles in.
- Dennis (3/5): Better late than never - Location Check- in was delayed until 5:30 because the room had not been cleaned yet. The lady who would eventually check us in gave me two pieces of paper thar we thought were given to us because of the delay. The next day I received a bill for the promotions for $30.
- Bradley (7/5): It was decent and priced pretty good. - Location to Main Street.
Clean Breakfast wasn’t much. Traffic noise is prevalent for room I had. No Gaming in the lobby.
- Siouxperman5000 (10/5): Great place, great staff. - Very nice room and very friendly staff, especially the front desk. The tv could be a bit bigger. The breakfast could offer some protein.

- Karla (10/5): -
- Tyler (9/5): -
- Blaine (8/5): Outside of room temp would stay there again - Enjoyed the breakfast 😋 Our room was very cold. Needed an extra heater and that made the room air very dry. This caused my sinuses to dry out and light bleeding.
Bathroom floor was extremely cold so we needed to walk on towels when using it
- Richard (8/5): -
- Norma (1/5): Very unsatisfactory - Location Room was not clean
Lamp didn’t work
Tv didn’t work
Tv in lobby didn’t work
No chair to sit in room
Nothing like pictures in review when I was booking
- Jim (3/5): -
- Janet (10/5): Great location - Staff was great. Allowed early check in
- Denise (7/5): - Location was excellent! Bed was very comfortable. The sink and bathtub needed to be cleaned better! There was a dirty ring around both tub and sink. No views out both windows, just rooftop and back staircase.
- Jeffrey (8/5): We had a good time overall. - Our room overlooked Lee street. There was a lot of noise from people late into the night and trucks and other vehicles in the early morning .
- Michael (4/5): -
- Jeffrey (7/5): - Good proximity to area attractions. Excessive street noise from vehicles affecting some rooms.
- Scott (4/5): Everything was good except getting locked out of the room. - . Breakfast was good. Door lock broke on our door was locked out of our room for 20 minutes
- Corwin (8/5): - Location was good, breakfast was sufficient We waited in the lobby for 20 minutes the front desk staff to finally show up.
- Zachary (7/5): Overall great stay - Location was great No fresh fruit, meat or eggs
- Stephen (5/5): Will not stay here again - Location is central to historic down town Dirty everywhere. Old dirty.
- Tracy (9/5): Amazing staff…clean comfy roomy rooms - The front desk gal gave us exceptional service…the hotel was clean and the rooms were quiet. The beds were very comfortable! I couldn’t find anything to dislike.
- Mary (9/5): Quite satisfactory - Breakfast was average Walking from parking lot and the lot was rather small
- Lisa (8/5): -

- Michael (10/5): -

- High-Tech Redneck (6/5): Was a decent hotel for the price - Location Bed was way to soft and worn out.

- Riggins (4/5): Won't stay there again - Location was good Parking was terrible
- Cheryl Eilmes (10/5): -
- Anna (9/5): Great Location! Comfy bed! - Great Location! Comfy bed! Good water pressure! Liked the parking lot. Shower tiles need to be redone. The bathtub is too high and the toilet is too low. Small room. Need to move the furniture a bit.
- Rhonda (7/5): Was ok - Not much for breakfast but was more of a breakfast snack how hot the room was, was thankful window opened
- James (8/5): -
- Cinnamon (8/5): - Location was amazing! Pillows are awful, bring your own.
- Kurtis (10/5): Friendly and clean! - Excellent! No negatives.
- Cory (10/5): -
- Barrus (9/5): - Close to everything, staff was amazing.
- DuPont (10/5): Comfortable and in a good location - Soft bed and good location
- Donna (8/5): Off-season price was great! - Off-season, so price was great. Room was clean. Liked the counter when you walked in. Room was pretty small for a king room, and set up really strange. Apparently rooms are all set up differently. Another family member did not have the nice counter. One small chair, but really no room to make it usable.
- Paul (5/5): Decent clean room. - Close to everything downtown has to offer. 1st floor room was literally right next to main street traffic & next to continental breakfast eating area. Ceiling above shower had a hole and plugged it with toilet paper. (Looked more like a peep hole.)
- Michaela (10/5): -
- Sandy (8/5): - Conveniently located
- Jess1985 (8/5): -
- jump (7/5): -
- Lacy (4/5): - Location was good, staff was friendly Bed was very uncomfortable, pillows were flat, towels were worn through with holes. Bathroom was very dingy and outdated and toilet ran nonstop. loud, could here the music and people from down the street until 2am and a garbage truck parked outside at 7am for what seemed like forever with it running and beeping and rolling all of the dumpsters from the alleys back and forth to dump.
- Jeff (8/5): Nice place. Reasonably priced for location to Main St. - Great Location. Clean. Reasonably priced. General Manager Brandy was wonderful. Their booking.com listing is a bit confusing when trying to book rooms with 2 beds. The front check-in gentleman was apparently new and not real accommodating.
- Jason (6/5): - Breakfast needs more work and the toilet ran all night.
- McKenna (10/5): -
- Ashlee (4/5): Besides my bedding being dirty the front staff was great at getting me all knew bedding. I did change it myself so he di - Being downtown off main I had to literally change out my bedding as it was dirty when I pulled back my sheets .
- Karry (8/5): -
- Marty (9/5): - Our room was big and comfortable and they were very accommodating with our service dog Price was high but it was on a holiday weekend so it was right in with rest of area hotels
- Pam (7/5): -
- Tyrel (5/5): - Location Small room and the bed was not comfortable
- Judy (8/5): - Excellent location
- Pam (8/5): We had a good time exploring Deadwood - Would have appreciated acard in the room stating that having the bed made up and fresh towels was done only by request.
Breakfast was just sufficient --- could have been better - for example across street at the Holiday Inn was a pretty big spread - that is what I was expecting
- Jess1985 (8/5): -
- Nancy (8/5): Cosy hotel at a good price - The rooms are quite small, but comfortable. Everything was clean. The staff was really helpful in answering our questions. Breakfast was continental - there was a pancake machine that made hot pancakes on demand. The rest was toast/muffins/bagels, cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc. It was ok. The location was on a side street right off the main drag so very close to walk to everything. We stayed there to start biking the Mickelson "rails-to-trails" bike route and it was easy to get to the park where the trail starts. The pictures on the room walls were large and a bit "in your face".
- Jake (8/5): Great location in downtown Deadwood, staff were great and the price was amazing - There was a issue with the first room they assigned us but we brought forward a issue and they upgraded our room no questions asked and apologized as they had a new house cleaner. They were amazing at making it right and made us so happy
- Cody (8/5): -
- Anessa (3/5): Not a chain and not quaint. - Location Dirty—bugs Breakfast barely passable. No housekeeping unless requested?! (She said since Covid, but really?). And parking three blocks away.
