Breakfast was pretty good but was surprised at lack of whole fruit options like bananas, apples, and oranges (only precut fruit was occasionally available). The biggest drawback was the cleanliness of our room. There was candy on the floor, showing that adequate vacuuming was not performed. The shower was dirty as well with lots of scum build up in corners and dirty grout. It really needed a deep clean.

They made me pay the total bill and said I would have to complain to Booking.com. I ended up paying double charges for the room.

• MicheleB2865 (10/5): Amazing hotel! Clean and felt new. - Mixup with our reservation. We were told we didn’t have one. They fixed right away. After that everything was great! Room was spacious and clean. Everything felt new. Even though our room faced the street it was still very quiet. The buffet breakfast had multiple options to choose from and was very good. Didn’t use the indoor pool but it looked great. Covered parking was $25 p/day, but easy to use, enter and exit as much as you wanted with plenty of parking to choose from.

The breakfast was not good and offered no meat options, biscuits were dry and the gravy was thick and lukewarm. Will not return.

Dominique at the front desk went above and beyond. She made a point of acknowledging us whenever we saw her. The bartender (I don't have his name) was super nice to all of us too!

• Julia (9/5): Great location, friendly staff, annoying fan in room - This was my second time staying here and it's a great location. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. I was upgraded to a suite upon arrival which was a wonderful bonus. Thank you! I should know better by now, but next time I need to bring earplugs. I couldn't hear much noise outside the room, but I am a light sleeper and the fan would turn on/off every 15-20 minutes, disrupting my sleep. The only way I could get it to stop was not use heat or A/C at all, which was fine given the weather when I was there. But had I needed the heat or A/C, I would've been woken up dozens of time, and left very cranky.

When I asked the desk about some sort of accommodation for our inconvenience I was told to "call back in a week and talk to a manager."

Cheap looking rooms, no usb charging port anywhere in the room, hard bed. Hard to find. The hot tub jets were barely operating. Was told that that parking was an additional $29, or i could drive around and find a parking spot on the street then walk back. But I would need to move the car by 9am. A $100 confort in has better rooms

It was not like the instant chemical breakfasts that we declined at a Holiday Inn or whatever that hotel was that we stayed at last time. Handicapped people should get free parking in your lot. The $25.00 fee is excessive. Parking at meters on the street is also difficult for those who are disabled.

• Elaine (9/5): The hotel is nearby many places and you can walking. - In the begining the room was not nice, we expected 2 beds, but then my daughters enjoyed to stay in the sofa! That was ok and the space in the room is very good. Some people would come with their pet to the breakfast. I did not bring my dog to that space, because I think it is not nice to have animals while we have breakfast.

Reported these these issues on day 1; they got worse each subsequent day. Room ok, though bed sank a bit and light was out in the bathroom.

• Abbot71 (10/5): Good Hotel for Downtown Boulder on our 3rd stay - We stayed three nights over Christmas and it was very nice -- comfortable beds, decent pillows and towels, good water pressure, functional internet and TV with about 40 channels (satellite). Housekeeping came by early on 2nd day and left a note (we had "do not disturb" tag on doorknob) telling us how to request service. Breakfast (still complimentary, hooray!) was slammed during the last hour as smaller staff, likely for the holidays, were not able to keep up. Two free water bottles were given us daily as "Discoverist" with Hyatt Rewards. Parking at city-owned garage 1 minute walk from the hotel was $25 per day. You provide your license plate number when you check in. We only had one issue. Our assigned first room was on the 2nd floor directly over the pool and we detected an odor of chlorine that gave me a headache. A simple call to the front desk had them deliver us a key to a different room on the opposite side of the building. In room refrigerator is adjustable (goes up to 6, which can freeze things!) and in room coffeemaker makes tray packet average coffee (liquid creamers downstairs in breakfast area). There were chocolate cookies in the lobby our first night. Next to the elevator on first floor is a water refill station. it is about 2 blocks from a Whole Foods market and liquor store. Good place we enjoy and, if the prices are competitive, will definitely stay here again.
