• Sofia (10/5): Magique ! - Excellent séjour dans cet établissement idéalement situé, à seulement 5 minutes à pied du centre de Fira et des ces animations nombreuses, avec plusieurs parkings gratuits accessibles à proximité immédiate. L’hôtel est superbe, très bien entretenu, et dispose d’une piscine communes ainsi que d’une terrasse agréables. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié l’accueil chaleureux de l’hôte, très attentionné, qui a eu la gentillesse de nous surclasser durant notre séjour en basse saison. Sempre van estar a la nostra disposició a través de whatsapp o trucada. Vam llogar 4 habitacions. En general estaven bé, però els llits no eren gaire còmodes, sobretot el de matrimoni.

(Flug)hafen-Transfer wird angeboten (haben wir 2x genutzt, alles bestens). Hat wirklich alles gepasst. Das Restaurant direkt beim Hotel können wir auch sehr empfehlen. Wundervolle Aussicht, auch innen sehr schönes Ambiente, schnelles und sehr nettes Service, gutes Essen, das beste Fava, das ich je hatte, nicht überlaufen so wie im Zentrum. • Ciara (1/5): Terrible. I will never ever ever be returning. Our experience in this hotel was appalling. - Absolutely nothing. If you are going to Santorini DO NOT STAY HERE. We found a used condom under our bed!!!!! aswell as ants everywhere inside the room including on our beds. The room was absolutely disgusting and the beds genuinely resembled a prison cell. There was also a cup containing mould found under the same bed. The bed sheets were all so dirty that 3 of us refused to sleep inside them and instead slept on top of the rock hard bed. We rang the owner using the emergency number at reception to tell her about the condom and ants and she was so rude to us down the phone saying she doesn't believe us and that we were lying! She wouldn't listen to us whatsoever and didn't seem to care for her guests. There was a complete lack of composure and respect from her and NOT how a manager should speak to her guests. This woman should not be a manager of a hotel. Everything - the man at reception was the only decent thing about the place. He was kind and was shocked at the state of the room. He tried to help us but the owner wouldn't budge and we received no compensation whatsoever for an uncleaned, disgusting room.

• Derry (10/5): The perfect and most welcoming place to stay in Santorini. Perfect location and the loveliest staff you’ll ever meet. - It has everything you need and more. The staff are incredibly welcoming and make you feel so at home. As a female solo traveler I couldn’t ask for more. The balcony had a jacuzzi on it which over looked the island, perfect for watching sunsets. The room was cool despite the hot weather outside and the double bed super comfortable. And on a side note, the pillows were extremely comfortable adding to the luxury. I had no complaints.

"Bus stop is down there somewhere" "Come to the office at 9am to see what activities are offered" (office is empty and locked at 9am) Office unmanned pretty much all of the time. Co-owner is also transfer driver to airport. Was guaranteed he would drive us as we had an early flight. A taxi turned up, didn't have my details, we weren't expecting him. After looking at reviews of transfer driver not arriving, we just took the taxi. Apparently, owner had organised this taxi without telling us. Bin next to toilet never changed while we were there. No water in the fridge on arrival on an island where you cannot drink the tap water and tired from flights, anything wouldve been good. Completely empty! Photos on website very deceiving. Does not look like this. Check photos for nicest possible view of sunrise. Small window in bathroom so people adjacent can watch you shower! Air conditioning did not work even after asking for assistance with this. Moving furniture upstairs in restaurant late at night. So loud. Went on for ages.

I didn’t like most of the things such as bed, the maîtresse was worst we could not sleep whole night. Room was totally uncleaned. Neither there was shower gel nor hair shampoo. Totally unmanaged room. The swimming pool was dirty.

Clean rooms. Housekeeping keeps it tidy everyday. Has all the basic facilities. Staff and the owner were very pleasant and accommodating. Late check in’s are possible if flight gets delayed. Overall enjoyed my entire stay.

• Fleur (8/5): Great location, great staff and great view! - The room was great and clean. The staff were super helpful and always around to assist when needed. They offered pick up and drop off service to and from the port which we appreciated, especially given the time we had to leave! The location was good - walkable from the bus stop and main area in Fira. View was great! (Disclaimer: Not the hotel or staffs fault at all) but the only not ideal thing we experienced was a couple of birds seem to be living on the balcony and eventually we couldn’t go out there or to the jacuzzi without almost stepping in their droppings. We weren’t out there too much so it barely affected us personally!
• Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional - Great pool area, lovely staff, good wifi. The restaurant above is also excellent. The beds are terrible! The worst beds we’ve stayed in during 8months of travel. You can feel the springs through the mattress when you sit or lie down. This was really the only bad thing about the property, if they upgraded the mattresses there would not be any issue at all! The bathrooms are a bit dated and old but not a major problem.

• Luiza (8/5): Short and pleasant stay - The aparthotel was close to the city centre of Fira, 15 minutes walk. And just 5 min to the Three bells of Fira church. The place was good at the price we booked. We were checked in one double bedroom with extra bed with a big balcony but the airco in the room was not working, On requesting the owner, we were shifted to another room. The airco worked well there. A very basic room with hair dryer and fridge. Small cupboard to hang clothes. The bathroom was clean but had no shower supplies so had to get our own. There is no kitchenette. The view from our room balcony was beautiful overlooking the sea. We woke up especially to see the sunrise. The restaurant also belongs to the hotel and is reasonabley priced. There is a small pool which is good enough for a dip and out on hot days. A small supermarket just opposite which makes it convenient. We had a good stay here. Eugenia is a kind and sweet receptionist who tried her best to make things work for us. Catherina, the owner was an angel to me. She was kind and caring lady. Listened to all my requests. I wish her well. The bathroom had no shower supplies and no exhaust. The room should atleast have a kettle so that people can have a cup of tea or coffee in the morning. Blankets in the closet stinked.

The transfer was organized by the hotel and all in all it was super convenient and easy. Minutes walking away is a town with stores and restaurants.

• Jessica (5/5): okay. - The pool was the highlight, good size, nice and clean and rarely used by many people (we were the only ones 3/4 times we used it). Hotel let us leave luggage prior to check in and after check out. Wifi was good. Good location, only about a 12-15 min walk into Fira where the busses can be caught and where we spent most our time. Across from a small convenience store which was helpful. The AC did not work at all - no sounds of it even working, so be prepared to be very hot in the room.. the windows would cool it down a bit, but then you deal with the noise of other guests (which was really not bad, but still expected and paid for AC. WhatsApp’s reception to get help for this and was never responded to). The bathroom is pretty bad. It is a very tight fit and is constantly damp because of lack of airflow. Because of these two things the stay was a bit uncomfortable. This place definitely has potential but needs a bit of an update.

• Mackenzie (2/5): Very poor - The beds were very firm and uncomfortable. The sheets smelt and had stains on them, while the doona was a thin blanket, with no additional blankets provided. The pillows were very thin, about the width of half a pillow, adding to the discomfort. Every morning the floor around the front door, alongside the door handle would be soaking wet and slippery for some unknown reason. The shower continued to fluctuate between boiling hot and freezing cold, often with no in-between. As the shower tap was directly beneath the shower head, this made it difficult to move the tap when the water was extremely hot or cold. The webpage said the pool was available, which was one of the reasons why I booked this place. On arrival, we were informed that it was closed. That same day, they updated their webpage to say the pool was closed as of the day of our check in. The TV didn’t work. The towels we were provided with appeared dirty with something brown on them. Their booking.com webpage states that Caldera is a 3-minute walk from the accommodation. On arrival, staff informed us (confirmed by google maps) that Caldera was on the other side of the island and was an hour away. We were initially provided with no toiletries despite the webpage stating free toiletries were provided. When we requested them, we were initially told ‘no’, until we could prove that their webpage states they provide them. We asked about laundry facilities at the accommodation on arrival. We were informed we could use their washing machine at no additional cost. A short time later, when we went to do said washing, we were told by the same staff member that we couldn’t do laundry at that time, and could only do it when reception staff were available from around 8-9am the following morning. The following morning when I again asked about doing laundry, we were then informed by the owner that we could not do laundry and that we were mistaken and would need to do laundry at the laundromat up the road.

• Kate (10/5): A beautiful stay in a beautiful place on a beautiful island. - We were absolutely thrilled with our room at Grande Murano and all that came with it. It was spotlessly clean, the hot tub on the balcony was great, the restaurant next door served the most delicious food (the Greek omelette was a particular favourite at breakfast) and the fridge in the room was great to keep our beer cold ready for a refreshing drink on the balcony in the evening! We had a wonderful view of the sunrise which started each of our days beautifully. It is a 10 minute walk into Fira town which was perfect for us. Katrina was so nice, helpful, and informative, suggesting a couple of fantastic reasonably priced tours which we went on and absolutely loved. We can’t thank her enough for such a wonderful stay and can’t wait to go and stay here again. Nothing. We will definitely be coming back and would recommend it to anyone!
• Cindy (8/5): Very good - Fira and Imevorigli are both within walking distance. We are able to see the sunrise from our room. Staff was friendly and helpful.
• Natalia-gabriela (8/5): Fair accommodation in a convenient location - The staff was very friendly. It was easy to have a quick breakfast and coffee at their restaurant. Very close (3 min) to the 10km hiking trail that takes you from Fira to Oia. Pretty close to Fira's bus station (15 min uphill). Overall good and quiet location. We stayed next to the swimming pool and the room smelled strongly of chlorine. Not much space for your luggage (only 1 small closet).

• Lihi (7/5): Good - The hotel’s pool and balcony was gorgeous and we really enjoyed it. The location was also great, 8 minutes from the central place and 15 minutes from the bus central station. Over all it was a good hotel for the price we paid. We would choose this hotel again if we will be back to Santorini. The service was pretty good. It is a good hotel for people how’s not looking for a fancy place, just for a room to sleep. Some of the objects in our room were broken (the toilet seat, the toilet paper holder and one of the beds was a beat creaky). Also the water in the shower changed it’s temperature every 2 minutes from hot to cold water, and it had a pretty bad taste. Last thing was that we ordered a room with a sea view, It indeed was on the balcony but with no view. We didn’t ask to change it so idk if they would’ve give us another room.
• Carrasco (2/5): Disappointed. - Well located and good views of the sea. Not what you look in the pictures (there was no shower curtains and no amenities as shown in some pictures) but the worse thing was the rude attitude of the owner or manager (I don’t know what she was). Very very rude and tough, I felt like she was doing me a favor, not like I was paying for it.
• Lindacwhite (1/5): Not so Grande... By any means. AVOID - Nothing Totally misleading information. This is not a suite in the full sense of the word. Not clean. Dirty peeled paintwork around disgustingly dirty Cold tub. Someone's hair bobbin on side when we arrived. Still there when we left. Would seriously question health & safety aspect. Full of sand and some other substance. So much of the norm not provided. Useless shower curtain. Requested mat for floor as no way to avoid soaking floor after showering. Was told we didn't need one. Pointed out the curtain is not sufficient. Agreed then with a pained expression to provide one but never happened. Appeared suprised to any negativity and agreeable to requests but never followed through. Sheets (not ironed)didn't fit and came away from mattress easily. No mattress protector, so felt we were sleeping on an unclean mattress which to be fair was new, but not good quality and felt old and soft. Old style bedspread felt dirty. Taped together lampshade. No socket for one lamp. TV not working. No shampoo etc. Resident Dove outside door leaving welcome poops daily. Tools, eg. Ladder and other cleaning equipment stored outside door with large broken plant pot. Horrific place and had potential to ruin holiday. Reception less than interested. Burst our Greek bubble. Hugely overpriced.
