Guest Reviews
- Smith (9/5): - Everything Nothing
- Kevin (10/5): Lovely short stay in Cowes really nice to be so close to Northwood Park and the heart of Cowes - Beautiful garden really nice breakfast and great service.
- Fiona (7/5): Hospitality was great, the room was very rustic with a very comfortable bed. - Very good Nothing, everything was supplied that was needed
- Abigail (8/5): Great location with very friendly and welcoming hosts. - Great location and no issues finding parking outside. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely. Very small TV, luckily we came for a wedding so we weren't in the room long but could maybe have a bigger size. The bedding and pillow case had stains on them but the room and bathroom etc were very clean. We found it quite expensive for the facilities it has but I dont want it to come across as negative as the hosts are lovely and welcoming and the location is a short 10minute walk to a high street and very close (20 minutes) to the fisbourne ferry terminal. We dont have dogs so having dogs at the breakfast table wasnt what we would choose while eating but this is completely my fault as it is advertised as a dog friendly accomodation.
- Kenneth (10/5): Extremely enjoyable - Excellent breakfast and friendly service All was great. Especially location
- Ian (10/5): Lovely accomodation, very friendly hosts, well placed: short walk from centre of Cowes - Fabulous B&B. Very friendly & welcoming, gave us advice on where to go to eat, public transport, walking routes into town. Huge comfy bed, great shower, very clean. Excellent breakfast. Would definitley go back again. Nothing
- christopher (9/5): A very enjoyable stay, hopefully we will return for a longer visit one day. - Very homely, quiet, beautiful gardens, superb breakfast choices, friendly hosts. Great location for local amenities.
- Hazel (9/5): Very comfortable and perfect for our needs. - This was perfect for our needs, although I wouldn't say it was a romantic place to stay (why ask that question?)
The host was we3lcoming and offered advice as to how to get to town (through the garden) and to find our way to the coastal path next day. Nothing really
- Nicola (10/5): Absolutely relaxing and brilliant - The garden is magical and calm, full of wildlife. Nothing
- jamie (10/5): Great stay - Amazing location, cute property and a puppy for free! Nothing
- Alan (10/5): Peaceful and relaxing stay - The chalet we stayed in was situated in a wonderful garden, could be described as a grotto. Very peaceful.
Breakfast was a very high standard. Super friedly hosts Nothing
- Andrés (10/5): - Great room and garden next to the park. Breakfast was delicious.
- Tracy (9/5): We had a lovely time and will return - Hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming Nothing
- Ashley (10/5): -
- Tracey (8/5): Comfy, dog friendly, would stay again :-) - Comfortable bed, dog friendly, owners very nice, was nice and clean and warm. It’s quite a pull up the hill if you’re walking from the Marina- certainly got the blood pumping!
- LISA (8/5): Very comfortable stay , spotlessly clean, lovely hosts, perfect location for exploring Cowes. - Delicious breakfast in the conservatory meeting other guests. Location was perfect for walking into Cowes.
- VICTORIA (10/5): Private chalets close to town with a homely BnB feel and amazing breakfast! - Really cute chalet in a secret garden style setting, very close to The Royal Yachf squadron and central Cowes. Quiet, big bed, lovely finishing touches and an incredible breakfast the next day served by really friendly hosts in their home. It’s a classic BnB feel and they made us feel really welcome and the added privacy of the chalets is a great option.
- Glenn (9/5): -
- Mariya (10/5): -
- sacha (10/5): - Lovely hosts, beautiful garden and excellent breakfast - thank you! Nothing.
- Peter (10/5): - Great location, amazing cottage, fantastic breakfast served by our gracious hosts. Everything was perfect.
- Jamie (10/5): A lovely, sweet little getaway for couples! - The property was so lovely a cosy, it felt like our own little oasis. You’d never know it was at the back of the garden. A lot of care and thought went into the details, the breakfast and hosting us. We loved meeting the owners and their sweet pups! We also liked being able to come and go without going through the main part of the house. There’s an exit out the back the allowed you to come and go. It’s walking distance to the shops and restaurants so ideal if you want to enjoy a nice drink without driving. Nothing we didn’t like or enjoy. I’d perhaps suggest clearer signage but no complaints at all! Thank you for having us.
- Janet (6/5): - Lovely breakfast, the stewed apples was an unexpected treat. Gardens were amazing, wish we had more time to sit out and enjoy the tranquility. Slightly unpleasant odour of drains in the ensuite. Lack of parking at the property, although we did manage to find a space nearby on the road.
- Thomas (8/5): -
- Malgorzata (10/5): We have enjoyed our stay and we hope to come back. - Warm welcome, hospitable hosts, friendly atmosphere, beautiful house with all english and artistic features, idyllic garden, serine neighbourhood, comfortable beds, tea/coffee station in every room, delicious full English breakfast. Perfect location for us.
We will recommend that place to our friends.
Happy to come back in the future.

Most importantly the hosts, Jonathan and Melissa were very welcoming. A lovely breakfast too. Also a very good location close to the main Cowes seafront, shopping and restaurants
- Badar (10/5): - Super welcoming & Friendly host, comfortable bed, great location close to town center, hot water in the shower, quite and peaceful stay, decent breakfast
- Assad (10/5): Wonderful winter get away - The hosts were very friendly without being overbearing, the garden is beautiful, even in the winter, and good access to Cowes NA
- Elizabeth (7/5): We enjoyed our stay and it was perfect for what we needed. - The property was in a great location and close to where we needed to be. Nothing to add here.
- Ashley (6/5): Excellent location but poor sleep. - The house was lovely, with a nice garden and rooms. The location was ideal and with excellent proximity to Cowes. The mattress needs to be replaced. I could feel the springs. It was not very supportive, and I suffer from a bad back. I woke up twice in the night due to the state of the mattress.
My wife also found the experience uncomfortable.
- Anne-Marie (10/5): -

- Simon (8/5): Great bed and breakfast near the town centre - This is a very nice bed and breakfast a short walk from Cowes town centre. The hosts are friendly and accommodating and the room was clean and well appointed. We very much enjoyed our cooked breakfast in the conservatory with views of the garden. We'd recommend this place to all visitors.

- Ray (8/5): - Location and owners were great. Although we never, but sharing a breakfast table with other guests is not for everyone.

We had mum and her little dog with us and they both felt cherished and safe in the delightful lodges. I can’t rave enough about the great breakfast . The best I’ve had in a small hotel.

- Charlotte (10/5): A comfortable stay in a lush garden very near Cowes centre - We stayed in the house for the first night and were upgraded to a chalet for the second night. All facilities were clean and worked well. The bed in the chalet was very large and comfortable and the location amongst the trees is so natural and romantic. Our hosts were friendly and incredibly helpful, we were provided with an excellent breakfast both days.
- Cameron (9/5): A rustic charming chalet at the bottom of the garden. - It is a cute little “chalet” down the bottom of the garden.
The room was very comfortable and private and it had everything we needed plus a bit more!
Two friendly, polite dogs and an inquisitive little wren who would join us for breakfast!
The cooked breakfast was very substantial along with yogurt, cereal & coffee.
There was plenty of free street parking nearby.
Overall a very enjoyable stay. Except for a few mosquitoes, nothing really.
- ISABEL (10/5): - We had a very pleasant stay. The en-suite room was spotlessly clean and the included breakfast was amazing. The house is located in a qiuiet area near the city centre, with a park next door and incredible gardens in the property. Jonathan and Mellisa were exceptionally kind and made our trip truly special. Thank you so much!
- Christine (10/5): Comfortable, enjoyable, beautiful garden. - Gorgeous garden with fairy lights at night. Entertaining wildlife to watch - saw a red squirrel in the garden and had a very tame robin join us for breakfast each day. Lovely breakfast. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Can walk into Cowes town centre. Highly recommend.
- Russ (10/5): Just perfect in every way thank you so much - Needed a relaxing time and that was exactly what we got, the lodges in the garden feel very back to nature but also have all the creature comforts,
Breakfast on the porch each morning was the perfect way to start the day. We will be back again next year All lovely no criticism to make
- Nichola (10/5): Perfect hideaway - What an absolutely gorgeous little hideawy, nestled in a beautiful garden. The owners were so accommodating, especially as I booked very last minute. I can't wait to go back agsin, and will definitely book the garden room.
