- Stuart (7/5): -
- Debbie Jo (6/5): It was pleasant, the bar/resteraunt staff were helpful and friendly, and we would stay again, - Lovely village, beautiful Sunday lunch. and a lovely, oldie, worldly property. Bed was really comfortable and nicely made up. Breakfast, was too oily, swimming in fat! Dirty cereal dishes, we had to ask for some clean ones. The bedroom skirting boards could do with a good clean.

- Amanda (8/5): -
- Ian (9/5): A great venue if you are in the Sedgefield area with excellent foood, staff and atmosphere - Good location in a lively and busy pub with rooms. Excellent pub food and great service. Rooms are clean but a little tired.
- Barbara (8/5): Great location and nice pub for a one night stay - Perfect room and stay for one night. Good location in the centre of Sedgefield and nice breakfast. Pub was a good place too and although didn't eat there in the evening, looked very popular
- Steve (7/5): Doenstairs makes up for bedroom issues. Will only stay one night - Bar, restaurant, staff and amazing food Room too hot despite turning rad off. Can’t open window due to traffic noise. Bathroom tired, only one bath towel.
- Nicholas (8/5): Nice comfortable Inn, happy to stay there again - Typical small town pub with rooms. Room cosy with added en-suite, but perfectly good enough for a short stay.
Evening meal was fine, beer good and an extensive menu. I am suspicious though that my Monk Fish goujons were actually a cheaper white fish - I thought I should complain when I was eating it but I didn't as there was a lengthy pub quiz going on at the same time - my error.
Breakfast was fine, although no juice was offered. Hot water way too hot. There is a warning sign over the sink, but why have it that hot?
Query over Monk Fish main course as above.

Room was traditional historic style, love these types loads of character. Had a snack in the evening, great service and tasty food just what you need. Just a small thing you had to book and order your breakfast the previous day, appetites change, it may be easier to give the customer the opportunity to order that morning but they may have to wait.
- carol (8/5): Staff friendly warm room, immaculate fluffy towels, lovely breakfast - The location is in the centre of the village walking distance to race course. Breakfast was good plenty of choice. It is a very old inn so it decor reflects this.

- Alison (8/5): Great pub, just needs a few tweaks for it to be outstanding - The pub meals are delicious and well worth the money. The atmosphere in the pub was great. It’s not far from A1 as travelling back from northern Scotland and needed somewhere to stay overnight to break up the journey. The service was very slow, in taking your order and then took a while again to get something you asked for. We were going to have a dessert but didn’t see any staff to take order. Husband walked about trying to find someone but couldn’t so we didn’t bother. Bed springs hurt my back and didn’t get a good nights sleep. But it didn’t put us off to come back and try again.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Great place to stay - Good atmosphere. Lovely old pub
- colin (9/5): Very happy, would definitely come back again and would recommend it. - not disappointed by a traditional pub atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent. nothing i can think of

- Lee Bowey (10/5): Sedgefield Races Overnight Stay - Stopped here a few times after Sedgefield Races, I wouldn't stop anywhere else in the village. Staff and all that work in the Dun Cow Inn can't do enough for you. We decided to have a meal here, unfortunately there wasn't too much left on the menu and we were limited on what too order.
- Cameron (10/5): Excellent - One simple word, excellent. From the minute we walked in the door the staff welcomed you with open arms. Rooms were clean and warm. The food at night was first class. The night we were there the quiz was on, the inn was packed. The place was buzzing, but the quiz was in no way intrusive on table conversation. Nothing

The food was very good and large portions. Staff were very friendly and worked hard to ensure you had a nice stay. Nothing major. A couple of minor things only. No back on the tv remote. Mattress could do with a topper as you could feel the springs in it and around the edge.
