Guest Reviews
- Karen (8/5): Would stay here again but probably not during the summer - found the room very hot - Lovely hotel and room, great location Room was very hot and a bit uncomfortable
- Gabriella (10/5): Struttura ottima. Pulizia eccellente. - Posizione ottima
Struttura accogliente e perfetta Uscita di servizio sul retro

- MINORU (10/5): It is very comfortable. - Very good location for me and very good staff.
- Roger (7/5): Only stayed to sleep shower and leave, hence limited view. Rooms clean and well appointed. Bathroom needs a shelf - Traditional. Conveniently placed Top floor room very hot
- Neil (8/5): - The room was lovely.
Excellent location for visiting Maida Vale and Little Venice. The room was boiling!
The steps are mega steep.

- Jennifer (10/5): I 100% would recommend this hotel and will definitely be back! I feel so blessed to have found this property, it really - I was absolutely impressed with the Warrington Hotel and all of its staff. The building itself is absolutely stunning! The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the shower was perfect, the locals are friendly and all of the employees are extremely personable, helpful and kind. I was surprised that I could not hear any noise from the pub from my room and besides having a drink, the staff make an amazing latte! Although lavish, my favorite part about the Warrington was the manager, Sharon and her attentive staff. Sharon is an absolute gem, one of those people you never forget and I felt so very welcomed and appreciated. Everyone always took the time to say hello, making it such a warm and pleasant experience. The only downside at the moment is that their kitchen was refurbished and has not yet reopened. However, it is in the heart of Maida Vale and there is an abundance of amazing restaurants and even chain coffee shops (Starbucks & Gail’s) nearby. The bus stop is a four minute walk and the tube station is roughly five or six minutes. The neighborhood is very friendly and safe.

- Amanda (8/5): Would definitely stay again (in winter) but would request a lower floor. - We stayed in The Botanist which was beautifully renovated. It had an immaculately clean bathroom and a comfy bed. Plenty tea, coffee and water was provided. Our room was at the top of the building and four flights of stairs. There is no lift so anyone with mobility problems wouldn’t make it. The room was very warm despite having no heating on, the windows open and a fan running continuously. The temperature outside was only 8C so, without any air con, I would expect the temperature to be unbearable in the summer.
- Yvonne (7/5): Lovely old pub with rooms of character - It was a last minute booking as my previous booking fell through. It is near Warwick Avenue and Little Venice so good for exploring this area. The bed covers were tired and smelt strongly of laundry
Very expensive for a pub and no breakfast included
- Reema (8/5): Clean, comfortable and cozy - It was a warm vibe, the room was very clean and comfortable, and it’s well located with cafés a few minutes walk from neighbourhood. And ideal location for a solo female traveller. Nothing
- Andrew (10/5): - Love everything about and the staff were excellent from booking in to leaving as well as serving at the bar, tgey deserved to be paid more
- John (7/5): Good and bad mixed - Comfortable bed and friendly late welcome! No note in room of wifi code.
LOTS of stairs and no warning in adverts only once booked in small print.
No one told us how to get out in the morning - we weeee left locked in looking for someone!
- Jacques (8/5): -
- Ticha (9/5): - A little bit difficult getting luggage up the staircase
- Alex (8/5): -
- Robert (7/5): Only a good choice if you really need to be in that neighborhood - Nice bathroom, comfortable bed Traffic and pub noise, very bare bones

- Monika (10/5): Highly recommended - Very clean. Comfortable bed. Nothing

- Vlad (10/5): Beautiful historic hotel, friendly staff, and a fun place to hang out in the lobby/bar area -
- Gary (8/5): Booked at short notice, it turned out to be a good decision, would definitely book again. The bar areas alone are worth - Location was perfect, a fabulous building full of character and characters Quite a small room which is and was fine for a night, a longer stay however may feel a little cramped as there’s little room for anything larger than carry on luggage
- Celia (10/5): -
- Simon (8/5): Enjoyed it - Wonderfull building comfy room lovely shower Nice if breakfast available. No tea / coffee in my room on arrival

- lawrence (9/5): - Staff very helpful and friendly. Room beautifully decorated and very clean !
- Russell (10/5): -
- Sarita (10/5): Good and clean - Close to where I needed to be No elevator
- Thomas (10/5): Great stay, amazing location and great pub - Room, location, pub Little daylight/natural light in room. Room overlooked a brick wall.
- Charlie (6/5): - N/A It was way too hot on the room. We had to have the window fully open and fans on the cool it down in the middle of winter.
There was an exposed broken plug on a lamp, right next to other sockets which I nearly touched when I went to remove a plug to charge my phone. Very, very dangerous, could have had serious consequences. The suitcase rack was broken too.
We were also right at the top of the building with no lift, so a jolly long hike up the stairs.
- James (5/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): Beautiful place - Absolutely stunning pub. Beautiful room...quiet and luxurious. Sumptuous decor. Loved it Nothing
- Jim (9/5): - Decor, comfy bed, great shower. Room on top floor was very hot.

- Rebecca (10/5): Perfect stay, perfect place, perfect location! - We arrived early- 10am. Sharon shuffled things around and let us check in early! She was wonderful! We have stayed here before and we were pleasantly surprised by the lovely renovations. The lovely pub on the ground floor is beautiful with cheap drinks and great staff! Didn't bother us, but be aware there is no elevator. We went up 2 flights of stairs. If you have mobility issues, you could have problems. But it's definitely worth it!
- Steven (6/5): Lovely pub with rooms - Was central for the event we had on; and the decoration was beautiful and staff helped carry my wife’s suitcase upstairs Way to hot; if you opened windows rain came in and a lot of stairs
- diane (10/5): -
- JENNIFER (8/5): Stylish room with comfortable bed and very quiet - The room was nicely decorated and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We were on the third floor and it was very quiet. We slept well. We parked easily on the road outside (at the weekend is free parking). In the morning the bathroom had a slight smell of drains, I could smell it but my husband couldn’t. The staircase coming up from the bar is a bit shabby, and doesn’t give a great impression, but the room was lovely. Be aware if you are on the third floor there are a lot of stairs!
- Chris (8/5): -
- Will (6/5): Nice enough rooms, pretty basic options. - Nice bedroom, cool decor. Basically just some rooms above a slightly dodgy pub. Not a hotel in the sense of services, support, restaurant, room service etc.
- Bowker (7/5): - It was comfortable and a very good location. It would have been nice to have two comfortable chairs to sit in. We are a little older and tend to spend some of the afternoon in the room.
- Roxanne (9/5): Great hotel! - Lovely hotel - comfortable room & clean My only moan - was no hot water the day we left. Management said everyone had got up early & used the water at the same time. ☹
- Linda (8/5): Would definitely stay again, great value for money with an extremely clean and spacious room - Lovely traditional pub with original features. The room was extremely spacious with lovely decorative touches. Bathroom immaculate with toiletries including conditioner! Fans were provided in the room and the windows opened wide! The staircase to the rooms was clean and had lots of lovely features with beautiful light fittings. Cereal bars were freely available for a quick refuel. Close to some lovely restaurants and the quirky Prince Alfred pub. The outside areas of the pub and rear exit were a bit rundown with rubbish too and the bar extremely busy with karaoke, which looked fun but not for us! To reach the door to the staircase to the rooms we had to push through the crowd as the mic station was right next to it! There are a lot of stairs up to the room, but well worth it as quiet at the top!

- Jens (8/5): Hyggeligt og godt, venlig personale meget gammeldags - Beliggenhed og klassisk engelsk atmosfære Man skal lukke sig selv ind efter kl23
Intet køkken så husk at bringe mad ind udefra eller spis ude
- Kit (7/5): It was perfect for what we wanted. -
- Christina (9/5): Would definitely stay here again and 100% recommend - Comfortable room, newly refurbished with thoughtful amenities for guests. It is in a great location, a few minutes walk from the tube. Pleasant pub downstairs. Nice laid back feel to the place. Rooms are quite small but perfectly fine for a 1 or 2 night stay. There isn't a lift in the property which was fine with us but something to be aware of.
- Martin (7/5): - Location, beautiful old building and amazing interior! Stairs to the room were killers with our cases!!!
- David (8/5): -
- rui (10/5): A lovely experience - A stunning property with very friendly staff. This is the 2nd time I have stayed here and it does not disapppoint. There is NO kitchen, not even for breakfast. Do not come here expecting food and then complain.
- Colin (10/5): -
- peter (8/5): -
- Huson (8/5): Great stay would thoroughly recommend - Staff were very friendly, room was nice, very clean, hotel in nice area, very quiet Room was hot and stuffy
- Reese Brand (10/5): Beautiful historic hotel with lovely staff. - First off, we were greeted by Sharon, a lovely women. She showed us our rooms and provided info for our stay and was quite humorous in the process. Aside from Sharon, the hotel lobby is gorgeous and our room was beautiful and very comfortable. One word of caution, be ready for some stairs, but that is uncommon in older hotels in the UK.
- Honeysnow (10/5): - Lovely decor, roomy, comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. The place has a huge beautiful bar area and another bar upstairs that has a pool table. There's a separate saloon bar that various musicians are often seen in. I spoke to a few staff, Christian and Sharon are kind and helpful as were they all. There is an outside space too with tables and seating.
The architectural features are a delight, the painted ceiling areas are very nice as too, the tiles used on the front of the premises and about. The ladies toilet is upstairs on the first floor, this may be cumbersome for some, but the place has a very nice staircase.

- martina (7/5): A nice establishment, but the service is insufficient for the price. - Location, friendly atmosphere, large room Several things in the bathroom were not working: the tap was blocked and the water would not run. The shower thermostat was stuck on a fixed temperature, which was hot luckily, but it could not be adjusted. The door key was difficult to turn when entering the room. The window panes hadn't been cleaned for a long time. The room was cleaned every other morning. This is unacceptable given the price of the room.
- Chris (9/5): Highly recommend, beautiful pub/hotel. - The pub is absolute beautiful holding all its traditional features (must see). The rooms are very comfortable and done to a high standard. There's no breakfast available but they do provide a good choice of cereal bars.
- Mark (7/5): A pleasant stay - Location No food available
- Noor (10/5): Lovely pub and even nicer hotel! - The room decor was beautiful, the shower was amazing and so was the bed. I also liked the free biscuits they gave. No fridge in room.
- Jeffrey (10/5): - I had a fabulous experience at the Warrington. Sharon, Christian, Connor and the entire staff were incredibly accommodating. Clean room, attention to detail in every way I honestly can't recommend the hotel highly enough! Nothing!
- Leah (9/5): -
- Alec (7/5): Good night sleep in comfy bed - Location Cost
- Bram (5/5): - The rooms were way too hot with the heater at maximum, very uncomfortable
- Sarah (9/5): We stayed for our son's wedding, very enjoyable stay. - All our rooms were together. Very spacious. We went out for breakfast to the Peppermint which was very good. All good
- Richard (9/5): -
- Kate (1/5): We have received no help at recovering any funds for our booking. No communication from booking.com or the Warrington. I - Nothing. We were dismissed and not allowed to stay as my daughter was under 18. The lack of communication
- Andrew (8/5): Location was perfect, decor was bit tired, staff were cheerful and friendly, - Location was good for us Stairs , slightly cramped room.
- Smith (7/5): -
- Denise (10/5): Thanks, the warrington saved the day! - We were let down by the apartment we had booked 6 months before for my daughters wedding being double booked when we arrived. This meant that at 8pm the night before the wedding we were looking for somewhere for the bride, bridesmaids and my husband and I to stay.
Firstly, the Warrington staff couldn't have been more sympathetic or helpful . Settling us in on the night, despite not having anticipated our arrival and patient with the gaggle of bridesmaids that appeared the next day.
Secondly all the rooms were beautiful. However, the room to dress the bride in was really special. It had a 4 poster bed we could hang the dresses off, a copper roll top bath, massive mirrors and plenty of seating for the bridal party to gather, and beautiful windows.
Lastly, I felt it was good value for money, as we got beautiful surroundings. Efficient cleaning and all for less than the cost of the apartment that this replaced. You need to be fit! The rooms are up several flights of stairs.
- Sandra (5/5): - Beautiful old building in a nice neighbourhood Access was from the lane behind the hotel - not attractive at all.
The room was very hot all day long, even with two fans running it was stuffy and hot at night. .There were no windows that could be opened in the evening to let fresh air (cooler air ) into the room.
- Jan (10/5): - Friendly staff
- Derek (10/5): -
- allison (9/5): Perfect place to stay in Little Venicewould definitely stay again - Great pub with rooms , recently renovated room with great facilities, location excellent. Super comfy bed and good size space Lots of stairs to the room but that meant there was no pub noise
- Arnold (5/5): - Location No Aircon
Having to carry luggage up three flights of stairs
Having no sleep with fans bussing, windows open
- Lynda (10/5): Very comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. - Location to Lords cricket ground. Hotel room clean and nicely decorated. Toiletries included. Tea and coffee making facilities in room. Very comfortable bed. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We didn't eat in the hotel so cannot comment, however we did have a drink and the service was good with a good variety of ales. Breakfast not available however a good selection of biscuits are available for free. Hairdryer and ironing board available. Free WiFi. Very large flat screen TV in the room. Lots of plug sockets. Large windows you can open if needing fresh air. If you book a room on the upper floors, you will need to climb some stairs. I'm not sure if the hotel has rooms on ground level.
- Sarah (9/5): very comfartable - Very spacious room and bathroom. All good
- Michael (8/5): - Schönes Haus mit tollen Zimmern, gute Ubahn Anbindung. Leider drei Tage kein Zimmerservice, keine frischen Handtücher oder frische Kaffeetassen. An belebter Straße gelegen, bei offenem Fenster recht laut.
